Zoom Room Reports Two Consecutive Quarters of Double-Digit Same-Store Sales Growth Following Successful End-to-End Relaunch

Company's differentiated model based on Socialization-as-a-Service, positive reinforcement and enrichment resonates with pet parents. Zoom Room franchisees open more than one year delivered 15.1% year-over-year same-store sales growth during the combined Q2–Q3 period.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Zoom Room Dog Training franchisees have delivered two consecutive quarters of double-digit year-over-year same-store sales growth, rising from 12.0% in Q2 to 18.2% in Q3 across the company's 45+ unit system. The performance demonstrates the resilience of Zoom Room's differentiated model at a time when growth across both franchising and the broader retail environment remains challenging.

The momentum follows a strategic reset launched in late 2025, when the company made the deliberate decision to pause new-unit development and focus on strengthening the foundation of the business. The company added new leadership, including former Petco CEO and Zoom Room investor Ron Coughlin as Chairman; Darris Cooper, one of the industry's preeminent training leaders; and accomplished franchise development executive Jackie Mendes. Zoom Room also strengthened its franchisee support team, implemented custom operations and marketing technology platforms, and introduced new franchise management and support processes. The result is a business positioned to deliver long-term growth for its franchisees while addressing an unmet need in the dog-training market: pet parents who need training, socialization and enrichment to help their dogs become confident companions they can take more places and include in more of everyday life.

"2025 was a year of making smart, sometimes difficult choices about where we wanted to take Zoom Room," said Mark Van Wye, founder and CEO of Zoom Room Dog Training. "We chose to pause development and invest in the fundamentals of the business: people, technology, operating efficiency, real estate strategy and the customer experience. Seeing that effort now translate into two consecutive quarters of double-digit same-store sales growth is incredibly encouraging."

Unlike traditional dog-training businesses that operate primarily as transactional, appointment-based services, Zoom Room brings dogs and their families together on an ongoing basis through positive-reinforcement training, structured socialization, enrichment and community. Its Socialization-as-a-Service model is delivered through small group classes in an indoor gym environment where owners actively participate alongside their dogs.

"In all my years in small-unit operations and franchising, I've rarely seen this kind of momentum in same-store sales across an entire system. I'm incredibly excited by what we're seeing at Zoom Room, and the credit belongs to our franchisees and Support Center team," said Don Allen, COO of Zoom Room Dog Training. "What's especially exciting is how we're achieving it: not through deep discounts or promotions, but by getting better at the fundamentals every day. Stronger execution, better client experiences, smarter sales behaviors and greater consistency. That's Kaizen in action: continuous improvement across the system. And I believe we're only beginning to see what Zoom Room is capable of."

Zoom Room's recent performance comes as the company resumes franchise development, with recent franchise sales expanding its presence into new markets in Florida and Virginia. The company's approach prioritizes sustainable unit economics, strategic site selection and markets where the concept can fill a meaningful gap in local pet services.

"Training gives dogs and their families a shared language, and socialization helps them use that language everywhere else," said Ron Coughlin, Chairman of Zoom Room and former CEO of Petco. "Zoom Room has transformed dog training from a one-time transaction into an ongoing experience that brings pet parents and their dogs back again and again to learn, socialize and grow. That recurring engagement, combined with a scalable operating model, creates a compelling business model for franchise investors and operators."

Zoom Room's positive reinforcement-based training philosophy is supported by guidance from the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB), which emphasizes the importance of positive socialization and reward-based training in supporting behavioral well-being and strengthening the human-animal bond.

Third-Quarter 2026 RPC/Net Revenue Capture Guidance

The projected RPC/net capture metrics for the third quarter of 2026 are estimated, preliminary and may change. There can be no assurance that our final RPC for the three months ended September 30, 2026, will not differ materially from these projections.

The above represents average revenue per contract (RPC) or net capture is based on a three-month rolling average, reported on a one-month lag. Average transaction fees per contract can be affected by various factors, including exchange fee rates, volume-based discounts and transaction mix by contract type and product type.

- For Canadian Equities, "net capture per 10,000 touched shares" refers to transaction fees divided by the product of one-ten thousandth ADV of shares for Cboe Canada and the number of trading days for the period and includes revenue.

- For European Equities, "net capture per matched notional value" refers to transaction fees less liquidity payments in British pounds divided by the product of ADNV in British pounds of shares matched on Cboe Europe Equities and the number of trading days.

- For Global FX, "net capture per one million dollars traded" refers to transaction fees less liquidity payments, if any, divided by the Spot and SEF products of one-thousandth of ADNV traded on the Cboe FX Markets and the number of trading days, divided by two, which represents the buyer and seller that are both charged on the transaction.

- For Cboe Clear Europe, "Fee per Trade Cleared" refers to clearing fees divided by number of non-interoperable trades cleared and "Net Fee per Settlement" refers to settlement fees less direct costs incurred to settle divided by the number of settlements executed after netting.

Mozart Therapeutics Presents Clinical and Preclinical Data Supporting MTX-101 at the 62nd EASD Annual Meeting
Image File

Presentations highlight Phase 1 clinical findings, proof-of-mechanism data, and translational evidence supporting the therapeutic potential of MTX-101 in adults and adolescents with Stage 3 type 1 diabetes

SEATTLE, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mozart Therapeutics, Inc. ("Mozart"), the leading developer of CD8 Treg network modulators for the treatment of autoimmune disease, today announced the presentation of clinical and preclinical data for its lead development program, MTX-101, at the 62nd Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), held September 28–October 2, 2026, in Milan, Italy. In three presentations given by Courtney Crane, Ph.D., Mozart's SVP of Translational Medicine and Biology, the company shared clinical and preclinical data supporting the continued development of MTX-101 as a promising investigational therapy for the treatment of type 1 diabetes.

"The data presented at EASD demonstrate the breadth of evidence supporting MTX-101, from early clinical safety and biomarker findings to its selective mechanism of action and potential relevance in patients with Stage 3 type 1 diabetes," said Mozart CEO, Katie Fanning. "Together, these findings continue to support that restoring CD8 regulatory T cell function may offer a differentiated approach to reducing pathogenic immune activity and preserving beta-cell function without broad immune suppression."

Presentation Details

The first presentation, "Phase 1a/b study evaluating the safety, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of MTX-101 in healthy adults and type 1 diabetes patients," highlights clinical data collected to date indicating MTX-101 has been relatively safe and well tolerated and may positively affect C-peptide levels in Stage 3 type 1 diabetes.

The second presentation, "Evaluation of CD8 Treg prevalence and MTX-101-mediated activation of peripheral blood mononuclear cells from newly diagnosed pediatric and adult type 1 diabetes patients," shows preclinical data generated in collaboration with researchers at the University of Colorado. The findings suggest the encouraging clinical and mechanistic findings observed in adults may translate to pediatric patients with Stage 3 type 1 diabetes.

The third presentation, "Evaluation of the mechanism of action of MTX-101, a novel regulatory T-cell modulator, in a Phase 1b clinical study in adults with Stage 3 type 1 diabetes," summarizes an exploratory analysis of participants with type 1 diabetes in a Phase 1 study. The analysis provides early evidence that MTX-101 selectively modulates novel CD8 regulatory T-cell biology and reduces disease-driving T cells without causing broad immune suppression.

Collectively, the preclinical and clinical data presented support the potential of MTX-101 as a safe, well-tolerated, and selective therapeutic candidate that may restore CD8 regulatory T cell function, reduce pathogenic T cells in adults and adolescents with Stage 3 type 1 diabetes, and promote durable preservation of beta-cell function. The company is in the planning stages of a Phase 2a proof-of-concept study, with enrollment projected to begin in the first half of 2027.

Presentations can be accessed from the Mozart Therapeutics website here: https://www.mozart-tx.com/science/#pubs.

About MTX-101

MTX-101 is an antigen-agnostic bispecific antibody targeting inhibitory KIR and CD8 expressed on regulatory CD8 T cells. This autoimmune checkpoint inhibitor aims to restore the intrinsic functions of CD8 Treg, acting early in the autoimmune disease process to suppress and eliminate pathogenic T cells, halt downstream inflammation, and prevent tissue destruction.

The Harvest Yard is Officially Open

Premium Workspace Brand Kiln Leases More Than 20,000 Square Feet

Fall Harvest Festival with Ribbon Cutting October 17

WOODINVILLE, Wash., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Harvest Yard, with its curated collection of tasting rooms, restaurants, retail and office, is now complete and the first tenants are in and open to the public. The Yard, with its 100,000 square feet of commercial space above 652 underground parking spots, is nearly 90% leased and poised to become a true destination for both locals and visitors alike.

The latest addition to the Harvest Yard is Kiln, a workspace experience designed to elevate the performance and lifestyle of its members. Kiln has leased 22,045 square feet and will open in Fall 2027, offering thoughtfully-designed private offices, team studios, shared workspace, meeting and event spaces for professionals, growing teams, and established businesses. Personalized hospitality, curated programming, and a connected professional community will bring a richer experience to the workday. Set within Harvest, members will have dining, shopping, tasting rooms, and the Sammamish River Trail close at hand, creating a home base for work in one of Woodinville's most distinctive destinations. With more than 25 locations open or under development across the West, Kiln was also drawn to Harvest because of its proximity to the aerospace, hardware manufacturing and tech startup sectors on the Eastside. "Harvest brings together so much of what we believe makes a place special; thoughtful design, genuine hospitality, and opportunities for connection," says Arian Lewis, CEO and Co-Founder of Kiln. "We're excited to give Woodinville's professionals and businesses a workplace that reflects those same qualities, where teams can do their best work and enjoy the lifestyle this neighborhood has to offer."

The Harvest Yard is holding its first annual Harvest Fall Festival on Saturday, October 17 from 1-5 pm. This event, which is open to the public, will feature live music by Brian James Was Here and an interactive custom hat bar by Hoyle Hat Company, complete with saddles, hay and a fully-styled experience where guests can customize their own hats. The Woodinville Chamber of Commerce will be doing an official Harvest Yard ribbon cutting at 3 pm. Guests will leave with a complimentary family photo from Life N Light Studios. The event will be a great opportunity for people to get a first look at the Yard and the community it is creating. With tenant openings ongoing, there will be as many as nineteen establishments operating for the Festival, with rolling openings throughout the fall and into 2027.

The Yard tenant mix is carefully-curated and extensive. On the restaurant front, the first to open will be Bong Bong Bar (October 10) and Brass Steak & Seafood (October 24), with Sugo Hand-Rolled Sushi in December, and Cactus, The Crawlspace Gastropub and the new restaurant concept by celebrity chef Hari Nayak opening in 2027. The Avennia and Grosgrain tasting rooms are now open, with Gård Vintners, Cascade Cliffs, Matthews Winery, Elk Haven Winery all opening in October. Lachini Vineyards and Walla Walla Vintners should be open later in the fall, with Zirckle-Rousch in 2027. In addition, customers will be able to taste hand-crafted bourbon at J.P. Trodden, make their own candles at Elm Candle Bar, buy children's clothing at Bumble & Bee, and sample champagne and macarons at House Balthazar, all in October. Other establishments include JDA architects (open now), The Tox (October), Direction Apparel (October), Vaunt Gallery (now open), Houseguest (October), Matcha Magic (December), Visible Coffee (November), King's Cigar Club (October), First and Main real estate (now open), Honor Pilates (December), and Edit (November).

Completion of the Yard is just the latest milestone for Harvest overall. The SOMM Hotel & Spa, which is directly adjacent, is celebrating its one year anniversary, and is a great option for people making it a vacation in Woodinville. And the adjacent real estate offerings – River Run at Harvest and Vineyard Creek offer for-sale townhomes and The Alexan for-rent apartments – are long-complete and occupied. The Yard opening has increased real estate traffic across the board. "River Run is now nearly 50% sold out, with two sales in the month since the Harvest Yard opened," says Sonya Johnston, the broker of Harvest Agency. "The long-anticipated ability to walk on the Sammamish River Trail in the morning, then up to the Yard for wine-tasting before dinner at The SOMM is now a reality, a reality buyers are embracing."

Shaw Industries Recognized by Floor Covering Weekly for Sustainability Leadership

PFAS elimination efforts, C2C Certified Changemakers campaign and EcoWorx® BIO earn Shaw four honors at 2026 GreenStep Awards

DALTON, Ga., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shaw Industries Group, Inc. (Shaw) was recently recognized by Floor Covering Weekly during the publication's annual GreenStep Awards, which recognize outstanding achievements in sustainability across the flooring industry.

Shaw received top honors in the Practice/Process and Pinnacle categories and was an honoree in both the Promotion and Product categories, reflecting the company's commitment to continuously improving its products and processes ahead of regulation, responsible supply chain management, product innovation, and advancing public understanding of sustainable product certifications.

"These recognitions reflect how sustainability is integrated into the way we design products, manage our operations and supply chain, and collaborate with others to drive broader impact throughout the industry," said Candi Hampton, vice president of global sustainability at Shaw. "We're continually looking for ways to apply the latest science and technology to improve what we do, share what we learn and create solutions that are designed for people and the planet."

Shaw was recognized for the following:

Practice/Process Award (Winner)

The Practice/Process Award recognizes practices or process improvements that reduce environmental impacts or advance sustainability. Shaw received the award for its proactive, systematic approach to eliminating PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) from its supply chain and manufacturing operations.

Shaw phased out PFOS-based soil resistant products in 2001, PFOA-based soil resistant products in 2008, and all PFAS-based soil resistant products in its U.S. carpet manufacturing operations by January 2019 and globally by 2020. The company subsequently disassembled, professionally cleaned, or replaced manufacturing equipment where PFAS-based soil resistant products had previously been intentionally used to address residual traces.

Shaw also contractually requires third-party suppliers to provide raw materials that do not contain PFAS and tests all new materials for even trace levels of PFAS before they are used in carpet manufacturing. If PFAS are detected, Shaw substitutes the material and often works with suppliers to reformulate ingredients.

As part of this work, Shaw discovered that existing PFAS testing methods, designed for drinking water, did not accurately detect PFAS in soaps, oils, resins, and other materials. To address this, Shaw developed a testing methodology and used it to identify PFAS in 60 ingredients from third-party suppliers, leading to material substitutions and reformulations.

Pinnacle Award (Winner)

The Pinnacle Award honors a person or company that has gone above and beyond professional duty and industry norms, benefiting the flooring industry with personal and/or professional leadership in the area of environmental sustainability.

Shaw earned the award for its PFAS-testing preparation innovation, using what it learned to help suppliers better understand their materials, strengthen their own testing capabilities and efforts to remove PFAS from their supply chains. Because many of those suppliers serve multiple industries, the impact has the potential to reach well beyond flooring. The company has publicly shared the testing methodology it developed so others can also benefit from the work.

"We're proud to be a leader in material chemistry and to share our learnings with others so that those truly seeking to remove PFAS from their supply chain can benefit from what we've learned in the process," notes Kellie Ballew, vice president of environmental affairs at Shaw. "So often, our suppliers say, 'You're the first one to ask us this.' They've been incredibly grateful for the collaboration that has allowed them to know more about their products. Because when we know more, we can all do more."

Learn more about Shaw's rigorous approach to eliminate PFAS from its carpet manufacturing operations and supply chain. Visit www.shawinc.com/PFASapproach.

Promotion Award (Honoree)

The Promotion Award honors any educational, marketing, or promotional activity that promotes environmental sustainability and/or accurately conveys knowledge and information about green initiatives.

Shaw was honored in this category for its participation in the C2C Certified® Changemakers campaign, a public education initiative led by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute that spotlights companies leading the way toward a healthy, circular economy. Almost 90 percent of the products Shaw makes are Cradle to Cradle Certified – more certifications than any company in the world of any type. What began with a single product in 1999, the company's EcoWorx® carpet tile, now permeates the company's entire business.

Created to enhance understanding of C2C certification and help people fulfill their personal and professional sustainability objectives, the campaign showcases C2C Certified products across daily life, from shampoo and clothing to furniture and flooring, illustrating how certified products can make daily life more meaningful. It continues into 2027.

Product Award (Honoree)

The Product Award recognizes flooring or flooring-related product that is manufactured sustainably or promotes sustainable living.

Shaw was honored in the category for EcoWorx® BIO, which builds on the company's original EcoWorx carpet tile, as the first PVC-free, fully recyclable carpet tile. By replacing a traditional polymer with a bio-based alternative, EcoWorx BIO reduces embodied carbon by approximately 40 percent compared with traditional EcoWorx while maintaining performance, design and recyclability. The product has an average Global Warming Potential of 2.35 kg CO2e/m², validated through an Environmental Product Declaration, and is backed by Shaw's Environmental Guarantee, which provides for reclamation and recycling at the end of its useful life at no cost to the customer.

QA FAIL (need review): Target contains unsupported/incorrect factual details: 'ahead of industry norms' is not in the source (source says 'ahead of regulation'); 'proprietary' contradicts the source's statement that the testing methodology was publicly shared; and the target implies both top awards were for PFAS elimination, whereas the Pinnacle Award was specifically for the PFAS-testing preparation innovation and sharing learnings with suppliers.

LINCOLN, Neb. and NEW DELHI, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nelnet Business Services (NBS), a division of Nelnet, Inc. (NYSE: NNI), announced the acquisition of Entab Infotech Pvt. Ltd. (Entab), a leading provider of school administration, management, and learning technology software in India.

The acquisition marks an important step in the international expansion strategy of NBS, extending opportunities for its school management, tuition, and campus-technology offerings into India, one of the world's largest K-12 education markets. Going forward, the business will operate as "Entab, a Nelnet company," preserving the Entab brand, leadership, and customer relationships that schools across India rely on today.

"This acquisition represents an important milestone in our strategy to build a global platform that helps educational institutions operate more effectively and better serve students and families," said DeeAnn Wenger, President of Nelnet Business Services. "Entab has established itself as one of India's most trusted education technology providers, earning the confidence of more than 1,000 schools through innovation, customer commitment, and deep market expertise. Together, we have an opportunity to accelerate innovation, expand our impact, and deliver even greater value to the education communities we serve around the world."

Founded and headquartered in New Delhi in 2000, Entab provides enterprise resource planning (ERP) and learning management systems (LMS) through its flagship CampusCare® platform, serving more than 1,000 schools and supporting over 1.5 million students in 28 states across India.

"Joining Nelnet Business Services significantly enhances our access to resources and expertise that will enable us to accelerate our product roadmap while continuing to serve our schools with the same team and commitment to service they experience today," said Lawrence Zacharias, Entab CEO and co-founder.

Shaji Thomas, Entab co-founder added, "With the capabilities and scale of NBS supporting Entab, we look forward to delivering greater value to schools, teachers, students and parents, and expanding our reach across India."

Both Zacharias and Thomas, along with Entab's 290 associates, will remain with the company and maintain its existing offices in New Delhi to continue to serve customers without interruption.

"As we have gotten to know the Entab team, their customers, and their deep commitment to serving schools, we have seen firsthand the strength of their platform and the trust they have earned throughout the education community," said Maheshwar Tiruchinapalli, Executive Vice President and General Manager of International Markets for Nelnet Business Services. "This combination represents more than an acquisition. It is the coming together of two organizations united by a shared mission to help schools thrive. Our integration strategy will be thoughtful and deliberate, ensuring continuity for customers and associates while creating a stronger, more innovative platform that can help define the next generation of school management solutions."

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as India legal advisor and Baker McKenzie acted as International legal counsel for Nelnet. IndusInd Bank Ltd., India provided transaction banking and foreign exchange advisory services.
