Singapore Cruise Market Expands with Disney Adventure Launch

In Singapore, the cruise industry strengthened in March 2026 with the launch of Disney Adventure, a 208,000-tonne cruise ship and the first Disney Cruise Line vessel to be homeported in Asia. The development expands premium and family cruise capacity in Southeast Asia and supports Singapore's position as a major regional cruise hub. The launch also reflects growing demand for luxury cruises, family tourism, destination-based travel, and new cruise itineraries across the Asia Pacific market.

The Global Cruise Market is segmented by Type, Size, Propulsion, Application, and Region.

By Type, Mainstream Cruise Ships hold the leading position, accounting for approximately 50–55% of the market in 2025, supported by affordable pricing, large passenger capacity, strong brand presence, family-oriented itineraries, and extensive onboard entertainment. Premium Cruise Ships account for nearly 30–32%, while Luxury Cruise Ships represent around 15% and continue to gain demand from affluent travelers seeking personalized services, premium hospitality, expedition travel, and exclusive destinations.

By Size, Large Ships with capacity of more than 1,500 passengers remain important because major cruise operators continue to invest in larger vessels with expanded accommodation, entertainment, dining, wellness, and recreation facilities. Small and Medium Ships also support luxury, expedition, river, and destination-focused cruise experiences.

North America Leads the Cruise Market as Tourism and Fleet Expansion Strengthen

North America remains the leading region in the Global Cruise Market, supported by established cruise infrastructure, strong passenger demand, major homeports, and a well-developed cruise culture across the United States and Canada. The region accounted for more than 22 million cruise passengers in 2025, while popular destinations such as the Caribbean, Alaska, and Mexico continue to support strong itinerary demand. Major cruise operators are also expanding fleets, introducing new ships, and investing in premium, family, and destination-focused cruise experiences.

Europe remains an important cruise market, driven by Mediterranean and Northern European routes, cultural tourism, and premium travel demand. Asia Pacific is gaining momentum as cruise tourism expands across China, Japan, and Australia, supported by rising disposable incomes and growing interest in experiential travel. The Middle East is also developing through cruise hubs such as Dubai, while South America offers growth opportunities through destinations in Brazil, Argentina, the Amazon region, and other nature- and culture-focused itineraries.

Global Cruise Market Competitive Landscape

The Global Cruise Market is highly competitive, with major companies focusing on fleet expansion, new ship launches, premium and luxury experiences, destination diversification, digitalization, and sustainable cruise technologies. Carnival Corporation & plc, Royal Caribbean Group, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Disney Cruise Line, Viking, Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, and TUI Cruises remain among the important players in the global market. Luxury operators such as Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Silversea Cruises, Seabourn, Crystal, and Oceania Cruises compete through personalized services, smaller vessels, premium hospitality, and destination-focused itineraries.

Recent developments show that competition is increasingly shifting toward fleet modernization, regional expansion, and differentiated cruise experiences. Royal Caribbean Group announced a major expansion of its Celebrity river fleet, Disney Cruise Line launched the Disney Adventure in Singapore, and Norwegian Cruise Line added Norwegian Luna to strengthen premium capacity. Viking also expanded its luxury ocean offering with Viking Mira, while Regent Seven Seas Cruises prepared the Seven Seas Prestige for its maiden transatlantic voyage. Across the market, companies are strengthening their positions through larger fleets, luxury and expedition offerings, digital onboard services, new itineraries, and investment in cleaner and more efficient ship technologies.

Gary Brecka's Wellness Picks Are Coming to Sequel Brands Locations Nationwide
Image File
Original HTML

Products personally used and recommended by Brecka will roll out across Ultimate Longevity Center, Pilates Addiction, BODY20, iFlex Stretch Studios, and beem Light Sauna.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Gary Brecka's go-to wellness products are coming to Sequel Brands.

Sequel Brands today announced the rollout of a curated retail collection of products personally used and recommended by Brecka across its portfolio of fitness, recovery and longevity concepts, giving members direct access to products he trusts and incorporates into his own approach to everyday health and performance. The expansion builds on Brecka's existing relationship with Sequel Brands through Ultimate Longevity Center, the longevity and human performance franchise backed by Brecka, which has sold more than 300 franchise locations since launching franchise sales earlier this year.

The initial collection features products from H2Tab, BodyHealth's PerfectAmino and Electrolytes, Baja Gold Mineral Sea Salt and Cymbiotika, with additional products and brands expected to join the assortment over time.

The rollout brings Brecka's recommendations directly into Pilates Addiction, BODY20, iFlex Stretch Studios, beem Light Sauna, and Ultimate Longevity Center, extending Sequel's member experience beyond the workout, treatment or recovery session and into the routines members follow every day.

"Consumers have more access to wellness products than ever before, but that hasn't necessarily made wellness easier," said Anthony Geisler, Founder and CEO of Sequel Brands. "There are thousands of supplements and products telling people they need them. We saw an opportunity to do the opposite: narrow it down. Gary has built tremendous trust around the products he personally uses and recommends, and now we can put those products directly into the hands of members across our brands."

Rather than filling shelves with hundreds of options, Sequel is taking a highly curated approach. Products are selected to complement each brand's member experience and support areas ranging from hydration and recovery to strength, performance and longevity.

"Our goal has always been to bring wellness to the masses and make everyday health decisions easier," said Gary Brecka, founder of Ultimate Human. "People shouldn't need to spend hours trying to figure out which products are worth their money or which ingredients they can trust. These are products I personally use, believe in and recommend. Bringing them into Sequel's brands gives people another way to take what they're doing for their health inside these locations and carry it into their everyday lives."

The retail rollout represents the next step in Sequel Brands' growing fitness and wellness platform. As the company scales its national footprint, Sequel is looking beyond the traditional studio model to create more ways for consumers to engage with its brands across fitness, recovery, longevity and everyday wellness – transforming its locations from places consumers visit for a single workout or service into destinations that support a broader health and wellness lifestyle.

Life Insurance Coverage Guidelines For Texas Households Explained In HelloNation Featuring Insurance Expert Jamie Smith
Image File
Original HTML

The article outlines how Amarillo families can calculate coverage amount using income, debts, and long-term expenses.

AMARILLO, Texas, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- What factors should families consider when deciding how much life insurance coverage is enough? HelloNation has published an article that provides clear guidance for Texas households seeking to align their coverage with their financial needs and long-term stability.

The HelloNation article explains that life insurance plays a key role in protecting financial stability for Amarillo families. It describes how choosing the right coverage amount begins with evaluating household income and estimating how long that income would need to be replaced. For many Texas households, this process includes reviewing daily expenses, mortgage obligations, and future financial goals.

The article notes that income replacement is only one part of the equation. Families must also consider debts and ongoing responsibilities that could create financial strain. Mortgages, car loans, and credit obligations all influence the recommended coverage amount. By including these debts in planning, Amarillo families can avoid leaving survivors with unexpected burdens.

Family size is another important factor discussed in the article. Larger households often require more life insurance coverage to support multiple dependents and maintain a consistent standard of living. The article describes how family size directly affects both short-term needs and long-term expenses, especially when children are involved. Texas households with younger children may prioritize education savings, while those with older dependents may focus on income replacement and debt reduction.

The article highlights that long-term expenses should not be overlooked when determining life insurance needs. Costs such as college tuition, healthcare, and future caregiving responsibilities can significantly impact the appropriate coverage amount. Amarillo families are encouraged to think beyond immediate bills and consider how financial goals may evolve over time.

According to the article, a common starting point is to calculate life insurance coverage at five to ten times the primary earner's annual salary. However, this general guideline should be adjusted based on individual circumstances, including debts, family size, and long-term expenses. The article emphasizes that no single formula works for all Texas households, underscoring the need for personalized evaluation.

Insurance Expert Jamie Smith is featured in the article, providing professional context for how Amarillo families can approach these decisions. The article presents the perspective of an Insurance Expert to reinforce the importance of reviewing both current obligations and future financial goals when selecting life insurance. This approach helps ensure that coverage aligns with real-life needs rather than rough estimates.

The article also describes how local economic factors in Amarillo can influence life insurance planning. Housing costs, education expenses, and the cost of living all play a role in determining the right coverage amount. By factoring in these regional considerations, Texas households can create a more accurate and practical plan.

Another key takeaway is the importance of periodically revisiting life insurance. The article explains that changes in income, debts, family size, and financial goals can all affect coverage needs. Regular reviews allow Amarillo families to adjust their life insurance policies as circumstances evolve, ensuring continued financial protection.

Balancing affordability with adequate protection is a central theme throughout the article. It notes that while securing sufficient life insurance is critical, policies should remain manageable within a household budget. Careful evaluation of income, debts, and long-term expenses helps Texas households achieve this balance.

The article concludes that thoughtful planning allows Amarillo families to select a life insurance strategy that supports both immediate needs and future stability. By focusing on coverage amount, family size, and financial goals, households can make informed decisions that protect their loved ones.

Life Insurance Coverage Guidelines for Texas Households features insights from Jamie Smith, an insurance expert from Amarillo, Texas, on HelloNation.

THE RITZ-CARLTON NAPLES, TIBURÓN REVEALS TRANSFORMED RESORT AND DYNAMIC CULINARY CONCEPTS
Image File

Refreshed accommodations, light-filled public spaces, and vibrant culinary debuts an enriched resort experience grounded in nature, play, and community.

NAPLES, Fla., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ --Today, The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón officially unveils its fully reimagined resort, inviting guests and the local community to experience the next chapter of this iconic retreat. Spearheaded by Parker Torres Design, the multi-million-dollar transformation debuts a refreshed lobby, residential-style accommodations, an elevated Club Lounge, Swaying Palm event space, and three new culinary concepts: Palmera, Fenrose, and Café Fenrose. The redesign refines a lush resort rooted in classic leisure and recreation, serving as the inland counterpart to its beachfront sister property.

"Tiburón has always been an icon of Florida leisure, but this transformation introduces an elevated era for our resort," said Andrew Roberts, General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón. "From the vibrant energy of Palmera to the serene accommodations, every detail was designed to blend the luxury of a classic European getaway with the approachable warmth of Naples. We are excited to welcome our guests and neighbors to a destination where they can gather, play and unwind."

Surrounded by sprawling greens, courts, and gardens, The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón beckons guests to spend their days exactly as they please—from active pursuits to slow moments by the pool and all the joy in between. Guests are invited to immerse themselves in the resort's world-class amenities, including two Greg Norman-designed 18-hole championship golf courses, Har-Tru clay courts and premier instruction at The Mouratoglou Tennis Center, alongside a sprawling pool complex, The Reservoir, as well as biking and walking paths around the lush grounds. The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón offers an unhurried atmosphere where every age finds space to play.

A REFINED ESCAPE DESIGNED FOR EASE

Throughout the resort, the redesign trades dark wood finishes for luminous, residential-style interiors inspired by Southwest Florida's native mangroves, the property's Audubon-certified grounds and birding trails, and local artisan traditions. Guests are immediately welcomed into a relaxed haven where soft hues and natural light flood the reimagined lobby. A warm, neutral palette is complemented by rich wood accents celebrating traditional local craftsmanship—from a sophisticated welcome registration to turned wood screens that offer visual transparency into Palmera, the resort's new social and dining hub. Organic marble inlays frame the entry while a custom alabaster chandelier centers the space, establishing the lobby as the vibrant heart of the estate experience.

The redesigned guestrooms and suites establish a serene haven where earthy textures and nature-inspired patterns mingle with opulent finishes. Accommodations have been transformed with a residential estate aesthetic reflecting total ease and unhurried relaxation. Traditional hotel desks give way to curved settee lounges and built-in dining setups, while room entries feature a signature "treasure box" bar niche set against woven shell wallcoverings. Custom murals, light oak nightstands with woven rattan textures, and deconstructed palm-patterned carpets complete the retreat, highlighting rich local craftsmanship through artful interpretations.

The crown jewel of the new accommodations, the Presidential Suite, elevates the residential narrative into a grand, multi-room sanctuary. Rich charcoals, deep greens, mauves, and corals complement preserved green marble flooring, balancing drama with residential comfort. The expansive suite features a grand entry vestibule adorned with carved wood panels, a dedicated bar lounge and a dining room framed by a custom banquette wall. The primary bedroom serves as an elite place of respite, complete with a fluted dry vanity dressing room and bespoke artisan textile installations.

These premier accommodations are complemented by a re-energized Club Lounge experience. Reimagined in rust, gold, and amber tones, the Club Lounge honors native coastal history through dimensional maritime-inspired art, woven rope-and-rattan banquettes, maritime basketry, and bespoke buffet millwork.

A NEW ERA OF FLORIDA COASTAL CUISINE

Crafted in partnership with local farms and regional vendors, the resort's elevated food and beverage program embraces approachable, product-driven Florida coastal cuisine centered on creativity, zero-waste sustainability, and singular ingredient exploration.

- Palmera: Now open as The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón's high-energy destination bar and restaurant, Palmera is a vibrant social vibe with a culinary direction that celebrates the natural harvest of Florida's Gulf Coast. The experience centers around an expressive and a dramatic bar topped with orange quartzite and antique brass palm-leaf lamps. Under the direction of Executive Chef Jared Young, the menu focuses on local ingredients from Naples farms to St. Augustine Datil peppers and regional citrus, maximizing every part of the product for new spins or classic dishes and minimal food waste. Standout dishes include Florida Blue Crab Toast with a tart grapefruit aioli, a tableside Espresso Lobster Cocktail served over ice with an aromatic smoke service, and yakitori-grilled Roasted Chicken with a fiery Datil pepper Basquaise ragout, alongside daily regional seafood selections and theatrical desserts like the tableside-torched Strawberry Pavlova.

- Fenrose & Café Fenrose: Offering a quiet expression of Parisian elegance, Fenrose invites guests to begin the day with intention and ease through refined French breakfast traditions and impeccably executed egg dishes. Refined yet unhurried, the dining space balances European café charm with organic modern warmth—a subtle homage to the sanctuary's surrounding Florida ecosystem. Adjacent to the dining room, Café Fenrose functions as an all-day market and espresso bar. Designed in butter yellow, mint, and cream, the space features custom striped packaging and terrazzo flooring.

A DESTINATION FOR CELEBRATIONS & GATHERINGS

Expanding its footprint for celebrations and gatherings, the resort introduces Swaying Palm - a new 2,700 square-foot venue featuring expansive views of the championship golf courses, raw metal accents, infinity-style alabaster lighting fixtures and custom shell concept art walls honoring the nearby sea. Whether planning a gala, wedding, or corporate celebration, every gathering unfolds with the warmth and community of a classic Naples club experience.

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Loomis has today completed the acquisition of 99.80 percent of the shares in Hermes Transportes Blindados S.A. following the completion of the public tender offer ("Oferta Pública de Adquisición" or "OPA") and the fulfilment of the conditions set out in the Tender Offer Agreement. The total purchase price for the tendered shares amounted to approximately USD 297 million (approximately SEK 3 billion).

Hermes Transportes Blindados ("Hermes") is a leading provider of security logistics services in Peru. The company offers transportation, processing and secure storage of valuables, including cash, precious metals and minerals, as well as ATM management and cash processing services. With approximately 3,400 employees and 19 branches, Hermes serves around 1,000 customers across the financial, industrial and retail sectors, as well as the public sector and mining industry.

On May 5, 2026, Loomis announced that it had entered into a Tender Offer Agreement with shareholders representing 99.49 percent of the outstanding shares in the listed Peruvian valuables management company Hermes. In accordance with the agreement, Loomis launched a public tender offer (OPA) on August 31, 2026. By the end of the offer period on September 30, 2026, 87,072,827 shares, representing 99.80 percent of the outstanding shares, had been tendered. The transaction was completed on October 5, 2026, following the fulfillment of all closing conditions.

"With this acquisition, we establish Loomis in Peru and strengthen our position in Latin America. Hermes is a high-quality business with a strong market presence and a talented team. I am delighted to welcome more than 3,400 new colleagues to Loomis and look forward to building on Hermes' successful track record together," says Aritz Larrea, President and CEO of Loomis.

Hermes' management team and employees will remain with the company. From October 2026, Hermes will be reported within Loomis' segment Europe and Latin America.

Nordea Bank and Société Générale structured and coordinated the acquisition financing, including a committed bridge facility and guarantee facility. Ahead of closing, these facilities were refinanced through the proceeds of Loomis' previously announced EUR 300 million bond issuance.

Rain Files Application With the OCC to Establish Rain National Trust Bank

Proposed national trust bank will bring custody, stablecoin reserve management, and stablecoin issuance and redemption for the payments ecosystem under federal supervision

Former Square Financial Services CFO Brandon Soto named proposed President and CEO

Key facts

- Rain has filed an application with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Rain National Trust Bank (RNTB), a proposed national trust bank headquartered in New York.

- If approved, Rain National Trust Bank will provide fiduciary custody of digital assets and US dollars, reserve management for permitted stablecoin issuers, and issuance and redemption of US dollar-backed stablecoins for institutional clients.

- Rain National Trust Bank will not accept deposits, offer consumer accounts, or make commercial loans.

- Brandon Soto, former Chief Financial Officer of Square Financial Services and most recently Chief Financial Officer of Coastal Financial Corporation, will serve as the proposed President and CEO of Rain National Trust Bank.

NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rain, the enterprise-grade infrastructure for stablecoin payments, announced today that it has filed an application with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Rain National Trust Bank (RNTB), a proposed national trust bank headquartered in New York. If approved, RNTB will bring the custody, reserve management, and stablecoin issuance and redemption functions behind Rain partners' programs under a single federal supervisory framework. Rain also announced that Brandon Soto will serve as RNTB's proposed President and Chief Executive Officer.

Rain's partners run stablecoin card, wallet, and money movement programs for millions of end users. Today the assets behind those programs sit across state licenses, third-party custodians, and third-party stablecoin issuers. A national trust bank will allow Rain to expand its offerings to include fiduciary custody of assets under OCC supervision and examination, and to issue and redeem stablecoins.

"The institutions building on Rain want the assets behind their programs held by a fiduciary that answers to a federal regulator," said Farooq Malik, CEO and co-founder of Rain. "Rain National Trust Bank is how we plan to meet that expectation. Rain remains a payments platform. The proposed trust bank will be a separate subsidiary that holds client assets in custody, as a fiduciary and subject to OCC examination."

What Rain National Trust Bank will do

If approved, RNTB will serve institutional clients in the digital asset payment ecosystem through three lines of business:

- Custody: Safeguard approved digital and fiat assets as a fiduciary, with client assets segregated from the proposed bank's own assets.

- Reserve management: Hold and administer reserves for permitted stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.

- Issuance and redemption: Issue US dollar-backed stablecoins as issuer of record in accordance with the GENIUS Act.

What Rain National Trust Bank will not do

If approved, as an uninsured national trust bank, RNTB will not accept deposits and will not make commercial loans. Assets held by RNTB for clients will be custody assets held for identified owners, not liabilities of the bank, and the reserves backing any stablecoin RNTB issues will not be pledged, lent, or reused. RNTB will not offer consumer accounts. Rain is not a bank and will remain a stablecoin payments platform and a Visa and Mastercard Principal Member through its other subsidiaries; RNTB will be a separately capitalized subsidiary supervised and examined by the OCC.

Leadership

Brandon Soto will serve as proposed President and Chief Executive Officer of RNTB, subject to OCC review. Soto was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Coastal Financial Corporation. Before that he was Chief Financial Officer of Square Financial Services, Inc., Block's Utah-chartered industrial bank, where he helped prepare the charter application approved by the FDIC and the Utah Department of Financial Institutions and led finance, treasury, and capital management. Earlier he served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Green Dot Bank.

"A trust bank's first job is simple. Know what you hold, know who you hold it for, and keep it safe," said Soto. "I have sat across from bank examiners for twenty years, and the best answer you can give is, 'Here's the reconciliation.' That is the discipline we are building into the proposed national trust bank from day one. Clear ownership, daily reconciliation, strong controls, and the right level of capital."

What happens next

The application is subject to OCC review and approval, including a public comment period. The public portion of the application will be available on the OCC's website at occ.gov. Rain leadership and RNTB's organizers recognize the responsibility that comes with seeking a national trust bank charter and will work diligently with the OCC throughout the process.

Rain worked with Paul Hastings in preparing the application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What is Rain National Trust Bank?

Answer: Rain National Trust Bank (RNTB) is a proposed national trust bank. Rain has filed an application with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish it. If approved, RNTB will be a separately capitalized subsidiary of Rain, headquartered in New York, supervised and examined by the OCC, and limited to the operations of an uninsured trust bank, including: fiduciary custody of digital assets and US dollars, reserve management for permitted stablecoin issuers, and issuance and redemption of US dollar-backed stablecoins for institutional clients. RNTB has not yet been approved and will only begin operations after receiving all required OCC approvals.

Question: Is Rain becoming a bank?

Answer: Rain is applying to establish a separate, limited-purpose trust bank subsidiary. Rain itself remains a stablecoin payments platform and a Visa and Mastercard Principal Member, and that does not change. Rain National Trust Bank will be a separately capitalized subsidiary of Rain with a limited purpose: holding client assets as a fiduciary, managing stablecoin reserves, and issuing and redeeming stablecoins, all under OCC supervision. Rain National Trust Bank will be an uninsured trust bank and will not accept deposits and will not make commercial loans.

Question: Will Rain National Trust Bank be FDIC insured?

Answer: No. Rain National Trust Bank will not accept deposits and will not be FDIC insured. Assets held by Rain National Trust Bank for clients will be custody assets held for identified owners, segregated from RNTB's own assets, not liabilities of RNTB.

Question: What will Rain National Trust Bank do?

Answer: If approved, Rain National Trust Bank will operate three lines of business for institutional clients. Custody: safekeeping of approved digital and fiat assets as a fiduciary. Reserve management: custody and administration of reserves for permitted stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. Issuance and redemption: issuing US dollar-backed stablecoins as issuer of record.

Question: Who is the proposed President and CEO of Rain National Trust Bank?

Answer: Brandon Soto is the proposed President and Chief Executive Officer of Rain National Trust Bank. He was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Coastal Financial Corporation, and previously Chief Financial Officer of Square Financial Services, Inc., Block's Utah-chartered industrial bank, where he helped prepare the bank's charter application and led finance, treasury, and capital management. He earlier served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Green Dot Bank. He is a CPA.

Question: Does this change Rain's card programs or partnerships?

Answer: No. Rain's card, wallet, and money movement programs continue as they operate today, and Rain continues to work with its existing partners. Rain National Trust Bank is a multi-year initiative that, if approved, will add a federally supervised option for custody, reserve management, and stablecoin issuance and redemption alongside the infrastructure Rain and its partners use today.

Question: When will the OCC decide on Rain National Trust Bank?

Answer: The OCC's review follows its own process and timeline, which includes a public comment period. The public portion of the application will be available on the OCC's website over the coming days, and Rain National Trust Bank can begin operations only after receiving all required approvals.
