New European research finds 81% recognise the importance of protecting skin beyond UV, yet only 22% use products intended to support the skin barrier

VIENNA, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CeraVe, the skincare brand developed with dermatologists and recommended by more than 80,000 dermatologists worldwide, today reveals new research among 6,000 adults across the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, examining how people understand the skin barrier and respond to everyday environmental pressures.

The findings reveal a gap between awareness and action. While 90% of adults surveyed are concerned about at least one environmental factor affecting their skin and 81% recognise the importance of protection beyond UV exposure, only 22% use products specifically intended to support the skin barrier.

Nearly half (47%) say their skin is more sensitive than it was five years ago, while 50% report dryness linked to their environment or changing weather. Yet just 10% take additional skincare steps when pollution levels are high, and 55% say skincare must be simple or they will not follow the routine.

The research was unveiled during the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology Congress in Vienna, where CeraVe brought together dermatology, scientific and brand perspectives to explore the need for clearer skin-barrier education and the science behind safe, efficacious skincare.

"People may experience dryness, tightness or sensitivity without realising these can be linked to the skin barrier. While awareness matters, clear and trusted guidance is the most important factor," said Dr Andrew Park, Board-Certified Dermatologist. "That's why I recommend CeraVe to my patients: developed with dermatologists, formulated with three skin-identical ceramides to help restore and maintain the skin barrier, and rigorously evaluated for safety and efficacy."

For CeraVe, safety and efficacy are considered throughout product development, from identifying a genuine skin-health need through formulation and evaluation. Complete formulations are assessed for safety, efficacy, tolerability and suitability, with scientific and medical input and claims validated by Safety, Claims and Regulatory teams.

"The research shows that people are paying closer attention to their skin, but greater awareness also brings a greater need for clarity and trust," said Gene Colon, Global Senior Vice President of Medical Relations and Communications at CeraVe. "Our responsibility is to make skin health understandable and accessible, while never compromising on safety and efficacy. As the conversation around skin becomes increasingly complex, we want to give people something simple: credible science, effective skincare and the confidence to make informed choices for their skin."

HigherVisibility Analysis: Google's AI Fact-Check Rule Now Covers Metadata

MEMPHIS, Tenn., October 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- HigherVisibility, a Memphis-based digital marketing agency, today published a line-by-line analysis of Google's October 1 revision to its official guidance on AI-generated content, the document's first change in a year. Built from a direct comparison against the archived version of the page, the analysis finds that the most consequential edit is not the one driving the headlines.

Most coverage focused on Google's new statement that it is "critical" to manually fact-check all AI-generated content before publishing. The HigherVisibility diff shows the sentence immediately after it rewrote the scope of that obligation: manual review now applies to title elements, meta descriptions, structured data, and image alt text. Those are the four metadata surfaces that ecommerce catalogs, programmatic SEO builds, and agency content pipelines most often generate automatically, frequently without a human reading the output.

The timing adds weight. The revision landed on day eight of the September 2026 spam update, the first rollout Google has estimated at "up to two weeks." The year's three earlier spam updates each finished in under three days. The same week, Google Research published a paper describing SAFE, a multi-agent system built to investigate coordinated synthetic content at scale, and practitioners began circulating it within hours.

"Google just wrote down the standard it will point to when something goes wrong," said Adam Heitzman, managing partner at HigherVisibility. "If a plugin or template writes your titles, descriptions, schema, or alt text and nobody reads the output, the guidance now names that exact workflow. The fix is not complicated, but it has to happen before publishing, not after."

The analysis also corrects an error circulating in early coverage: the Merchant Center requirement to label AI-generated product images with IPTC metadata was not part of this update. That clause has been live since at least May 2025, unchanged, though it remains widely unimplemented and now sits directly under the paragraph Google just strengthened.

The published piece includes the complete before-and-after diff of the edit, a table comparing all four 2026 spam update rollouts, and a five-step audit for the four named metadata surfaces. Recommended actions include sampling generated titles against their pages, running duplicate-description reports on top templates, and validating structured data in Google's Rich Results Test.

Nothing in the revision bans AI content or announces a new penalty. The document still describes generative AI as useful for research and structure, and Google's spam policies continue to target scaled content that adds no value, regardless of how it was produced.

Global Sulfur Market Size & Forecast

Market Size (Base Year 2025): USD 6.56 Billion

Forecast Market Size (2034): USD 9.34 Billion

CAGR (2026–2034): 4%

Base Year: 2025

Forecast Period: 2026–2034

Historical Period: 2020–2025

Global Sulfur Market Overview

The Global Sulfur Market continues to expand because sulfur remains deeply tied to agriculture, chemical processing, petroleum refining, and metal production. Its largest role is in the production of sulfuric acid, which is then used extensively in phosphate fertilizers and other industrial processes. As global food demand rises and agricultural output becomes more intensive, the need for sulfur-based fertilizers is also increasing. At the same time, sulfur recovered from petroleum refining, natural gas processing, coking, and metallurgical operations remains an important source of supply for industries that depend on this versatile raw material.

The market is also being shaped by tighter supply conditions, new sulfuric acid capacity, and investment in sulfur-based products. Asia Pacific remains the leading regional market, supported by strong fertilizer demand in China and India and large-scale chemical and refining activity. Recent developments such as new sulfuric acid plants in India, expanded sulfur fertilizer production in Dubai, and growing interest in sulfur-based batteries show how the market is moving beyond traditional uses while still remaining anchored in agriculture and chemical processing.

The Global Sulfur Market is evolving around one central reality: sulfur remains essential to both food production and industrial growth. Fertilizer demand, sulfuric acid production, refining activity, and emerging sulfur-based technologies are creating a broader market story. Companies that can secure supply, strengthen processing capacity, and respond to changing agricultural and industrial demand are likely to shape the market through 2034.

Sulfur Market Growth Drivers, Opportunities & Key Highlights

The Global Sulfur Market is gaining steady momentum as fertilizer production, sulfuric acid manufacturing, chemical processing, and petroleum refining continue to drive consumption. Agriculture remains the backbone of demand, with sulfur playing an essential role in phosphate fertilizer production and crop nutrition. Around 55% of recovered sulfur is used in agricultural fertilizers, while nearly 98.5% of global elemental sulfur production comes from recovery during refining processes, linking market supply closely with the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.

New opportunities are emerging through additional sulfuric acid capacity, fertilizer integration, and sulfur-based technologies. In 2026, India saw several major developments, including 52,500 metric tons of annual sulfur supply from Numaligarh Refinery and 165,000 metric tons per year of new sulfuric acid capacity commissioned by Madhya Bharat Agro Products. The same company also approved a 396,000-tonne-per-year sulfuric acid expansion, while Amarak Chemicals started a 60,000-tonne-per-year sulfur facility in Dubai. These projects reflect growing investment in supply security, fertilizer production, and downstream sulfur processing.

Key Market Highlights

- USD 6.56 Billion: Global Sulfur Market size in 2025.

- USD 9.34 Billion: Projected market size by 2034.

- 4% CAGR: Expected growth during 2026–2034.

- 55%+: Share of recovered sulfur used in agricultural fertilizer production.

- 98.5%: Share of elemental sulfur production recovered through refining processes.

- 60,000 tonnes/year: Capacity of Amarak Chemicals' new sulfur facility in Dubai.

UAE Sulfur Market Expands with New Sulfur Fertilizer Production Capacity

In the United Arab Emirates, sulfur-based fertilizer production expanded in February 2026 when Amarak Chemicals FZC started operations at a fully automated 60,000-tonne-per-year sulfur facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai. The plant produces sulfur bentonite and other sulfur-based products, strengthening regional supply for agricultural markets and improving the UAE's position in sulfur fertilizer manufacturing and exports. The development also reflects rising investment in downstream sulfur processing across the Middle East as producers look to serve growing fertilizer demand in regional and international markets.

NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Rosen Law Firm, a global investor rights law firm, reminds purchasers of securities of ARS Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPRY) between March 9, 2026 and June 24, 2026, inclusive (the "Class Period"), of the important October 5, 2026 lead plaintiff deadline.

So what: If you purchased ARS Pharmaceuticals securities during the Class Period you may be entitled to compensation without payment of any out of pocket fees or costs through a contingency fee arrangement.

What to do next: To join the ARS Pharmaceuticals class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/ars-pharmaceuticals-inc/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action. A class action lawsuit has already been filed. If you wish to serve as lead plaintiff, you must move the Court no later than October 5, 2026. A lead plaintiff is a representative party acting on behalf of other class members in directing the litigation.

Why Rosen Law: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources, or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually handle securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered billions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs' Bar. Many of the firm's attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

Details of the case: According to the lawsuit, defendants provided investors with material information concerning ARS Pharmaceuticals' expected timeline for expanded insurance coverage for its epinephrine nasal spray, neffy, with CVS Caremark. Defendants' statements included, among other things, confidence that this coverage would begin on July 1, 2026, and be in place for the summer and back-to-school allergy seasons.

According to the lawsuit, defendants provided these overwhelmingly positive statements to investors while, at the same time, disseminating false and misleading statements and/or concealing material adverse facts concerning the expected timeline for the expanded insurance coverage for neffy through CVS Caremark. This caused shareholders to purchase ARS Pharmaceuticals securities at artificially inflated prices. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

To join the ARS Pharmaceuticals class action, go to https://rosenlegal.com/cases/ars-pharmaceuticals-inc/join or call Phillip Kim, Esq. toll-free at 866-767-3653 or email [email protected] for information on the class action.

NeuroSense Provides Update on Nasdaq Listing Compliance

Company regains compliance with Nasdaq's minimum bid price requirement and intends to request a Nasdaq Hearings Panel hearing to seek additional time to regain compliance with the minimum market value requirement

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- NeuroSense Therapeutics Ltd. (NASDAQ: NRSN) ("NeuroSense" or the "Company"), a late-stage clinical biotechnology company focused on developing disease-modifying treatments for neurodegenerative diseases, today announced that on October 1, 2026, it received a letter (the "Staff Determination") from the Listing Qualifications Department (the "Staff") of The Nasdaq Stock Market LLC ("Nasdaq") stating that the Company has not regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(b)(2), which requires a minimum market value of listed securities ("MVLS") of $35 million for continued listing on The Nasdaq Capital Market (the "MVLS Requirement"). The Company intends to appeal the Staff Determination by timely requesting a hearing before the Nasdaq Hearings Panel and seeking additional time to regain compliance with the MVLS Requirement.

As previously disclosed, on April 2, 2026, the Staff notified the Company that its MVLS had been below $35 million for 30 consecutive trading days, and, in accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(C), the Company was provided 180 calendar days, or until September 29, 2026, to regain compliance. Because the Company did not regain compliance by that date, the Staff determined that the Company's ordinary shares and warrants will be delisted from The Nasdaq Capital Market unless the Company requests an appeal of the Staff Determination. The MVLS Requirement is the only continued listing criterion identified in the Staff Determination.

Appeal Process

The Company intends to request a hearing before a Nasdaq Hearings Panel (the "Panel") in accordance with the procedures set forth in the Nasdaq Listing Rule 5800 Series. Under Nasdaq's rules, a timely hearing request stays the suspension of the Company's securities and the filing of a Form 25-NSE with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") pending the Panel's decision.

At the hearing, the Company intends to present its plan to regain compliance with Nasdaq's continued listing requirements and to request an exception period to complete that plan. Under Nasdaq's rules, the Panel has discretion to grant an exception of up to 180 days from the date of the Staff Determination. While the hearing process is pending, the Company's ordinary shares and warrants are expected to continue to trade on The Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbols "NRSN" and "NRSNW," respectively.

Minimum Bid Price Compliance Regained

NeuroSense also announced that it has received written notification from the Staff confirming that the Company has regained compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2), which requires listed securities to maintain a minimum bid price of $1.00 per share. Following the Company's 1-for-20 reverse share split, the closing bid price of the Company's ordinary shares was $1.00 per share or greater for 10 consecutive business days, from September 15 through September 28, 2026. Accordingly, Nasdaq has determined that the Company has regained compliance with the minimum bid price requirement and that this matter is now closed.

"Regaining compliance with the minimum bid price requirement is an important step, and we intend to present the Hearings Panel with our plan to meet Nasdaq's remaining continued listing requirement," said Alon Ben-Noon, Chief Executive Officer of NeuroSense. "In parallel, we remain focused on advancing PrimeC in ALS, including preparations for our Phase 3 PARAGON trial and our planned New Drug Submission to Health Canada, as well as other milestones and strategic steps we are evaluating, in order to bring value to our shareholders."

There can be no assurance that the Panel will grant the Company's request for continued listing or an exception period, that the Company will regain compliance with the MVLS Requirement or other applicable Nasdaq continued listing requirements, or that the Company will maintain compliance with the minimum bid price requirement.

About NeuroSense

NeuroSense Therapeutics is a late-stage clinical biotechnology company developing novel treatments for severe neurodegenerative diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer's disease. The Company's lead product candidate, PrimeC, is a novel oral therapy designed to target multiple key biological pathways underlying disease progression, including neuroinflammation, oxidative stress and dysregulated iron metabolism.

NeuroSense has recently completed analysis of long-term follow-up data from its Phase 2b PARADIGM study in ALS, with results published in JAMA Neurology showing slower functional decline in participants who received PrimeC from study start than in those who initially received placebo. The Company also reported changes across multiple biomarkers associated with ALS, including microRNAs, consistent with PrimeC's multi-target mechanism of action.

The Company has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to initiate its pivotal Phase 3 PARAGON trial in ALS and is working with the FDA on an optimized study design.

Why Every Prescription Deserves a Safe Ending

Medication Safety Shouldn't End When Treatment Does

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C., Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- For generations, healthcare has devoted extraordinary scientific, financial and human resources to helping patients safely begin medication therapy. As a society, we have developed remarkable medicines. Physicians diagnose and prescribe with increasing precision. Pharmacists ensure medications are dispensed safely and help patients understand how to use them. Technology increasingly supports adherence, clinical decision-making and patient engagement.

These are extraordinary accomplishments, and they deserve to be celebrated. But there is another part of the prescription journey that receives far less attention: What is the life-cycle of a prescription?

"But do we apply that same commitment to best practices when a patient's condition improves, a dosage changes, one medication replaces another, a physician deprescribes a therapy that is no longer necessary, an antibiotic course ends, or a patient returns home from the hospital with a different medication regimen?" DisposeRx CEO , William Simpson, asks in his latest piece about medication stewardship.

As healthcare continues to move forward, the medications from previous treatment plans do not, thus creating an unnecessary risk in the home. Too often, medications remain in a medicine cabinet, kitchen drawers or bedside tables, sometimes forgotten and sometimes intentionally saved for "future use."

Perhaps it is time to recognize that Medication Safety shouldn't end when treatment does.

Click HERE to read more on the prescription journey and learn what Medication Stewardship really means for providers, patients and caretakers.

Moon Valley Nurseries Surpasses 50 Locations Nationwide, Launches Tree Care Division

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Moon Valley Nurseries, the all-in-one nursery and landscaping company setting the standard for superior trees, plants, and landscaping services, is marking a major growth milestone: more than 50 retail locations now open across seven states, with eight new nurseries added in just the past two years. As part of that continued expansion, the company also announced this year the launch of a dedicated Tree Care division, offering professional trimming, fertilizer treatments, recurring maintenance, and removal services, completing its vision as a true end-to-end landscape company.

With the launch of Tree Care services, Moon Valley Nurseries offers customers a seamless, all-in-one solution, from growing and planting premium trees to maintaining their long-term health and beauty.

"What excites me is how many more homeowners we get to help now," said Brian Flood, CEO of Moon Valley Nurseries. "More communities, more yards, more people turning their backyard into something they actually love spending time in."

Moon Valley Nurseries brings more than 30 years of hands-on growing experience to its Tree Care services, all focused to keep a client's tree healthy and vibrant throughout all four seasons. Unlike traditional tree trimming services, Moon Valley Nurseries grows its own trees, giving its team of certified arborists and professionals a deeper understanding of proper care, nutrition and long-term tree health.

"We don't just plant a tree and walk away," Flood added. "We grow the trees, plant them and stick around to help care for them long after installation. For years, clients have asked us to care for trees we didn't originally plant, too. It made sense to expand that expertise. Now, whether we planted the tree or not, homeowners can turn to the same team that knows how to grow, plant and properly maintain it."

Tree Care services are now available in the following markets across Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas:

The 210-room lifestyle resort introduces distinctive design, locally inspired dining and memorable stays celebrating the people and traditions of Kauaʻi

High-resolution property images are available for download here.

MCLEAN, Va. and KAUAʻI, Hawaiʻi, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Hilton announced the opening of Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi, Curio Collection by Hilton, a 210-room lifestyle resort. Marking Curio Collection by Hilton's debut in Hawaiʻi, the property brings the brand's focus on individually remarkable hotels and memorable stays to one of the world's most sought-after island destinations. Overlooking Nāwiliwili Bay and neighboring Kalapakī Beach, Hale Hōkūala introduces travelers to the island through contemporary design, destination-driven dining, cultural programming and outdoor recreation.

Situated within the Hōkūala Resort community, the property is both a gateway to the island and a welcoming gathering place. Meaning "House of the Rising Star," Hale Hōkūala features 23 suites, open-air spaces, private lānais and views of the Pacific Ocean, Hāʻupu Mountain and the Ocean Course at Hōkūala. Its signature cultural immersion program, E Ala Ka Pilina, meaning "The Awakening of Connection," was developed alongside local practitioners, educators, historians, artisans, nonprofits and community organizations.

"The opening of Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi marks an exciting milestone as we introduce Curio Collection by Hilton to Hawaiʻi," said Danny Hughes, president, Americas, Hilton. "For more than six decades, Hilton has been proud to welcome guests to the islands, sharing the warmth and hospitality of our team members. Hale Hōkūala builds on that legacy with a resort that reflects the rich culture and spirit of Kauaʻi while offering travelers a truly unique way to experience the destination."

Inspired by the Landscape, Designed for Kauaʻi

Designed by Hart Howerton and AHL (formerly Architects Hawaii Limited), with interiors by Looney & Associates, Hale Hōkūala pairs contemporary comfort with the character of its island setting. Nestled among mature monkeypod and banyan trees, the open-air walkways, expansive lānais and outdoor gathering spaces create a seamless flow between the property and its surroundings.

Guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and private lānais that invite the outdoors in. Interiors draw from colors and textures found across the island, from the blues of Nāwiliwili Bay and the Pacific Ocean to the lush greens of the valleys and the earthy tones of the coastline. Artwork throughout the property highlights local cultural heritage and the relationship among land, ocean and community.

"Curio Collection by Hilton is defined by hotels that immerse guests in one-of-a-kind moments and reflect the spirit of the destinations they call home," said Brooke Thomas, brand leader, Curio Collection by Hilton. "Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi brings that promise to life, pairing contemporary island design, a distinctive culinary point of view and curated programming that celebrates local people and traditions. As Curio Collection's first resort in Hawaiʻi, the property is a powerful example of the bespoke stories and memorable stays our guests seek around the world."

A Culinary Story Shaped by Hawaiʻi's Diverse Heritage

Food offers another lens into the destination, drawing from the ingredients and cultural influences that have shaped Hawaiʻi's culinary identity, including Portuguese, Native Hawaiian, Polynesian and Asian traditions. Led by Executive Chef Hans Lentz and Director of Food & Beverage Romina Migliorini, the culinary program combines regional flavors, thoughtful settings and warm service.

At Figueira, the signature restaurant overlooking the 18th hole of the Ocean Course at Hōkūala, diners can discover Kauaʻi's only Portuguese-Hawaiian dining concept. Named after the Portuguese word for "fig tree," Figueira honors Portugal's influence on Hawaiʻi's food culture through refined preparations, slow-cooking techniques and island-grown ingredients. Menu highlights include Pineapple French Toast with Kuleana Rum caramel, Kauaʻi prawns, Portuguese Fisherman's Stew, bacalhau no forno, pastel de nata and malasadas. The beverage program features Hawaiian-grown coffee, local craft beer, signature cocktails and a curated wine list with Portuguese and global labels. The restaurant's interiors continue the design narrative with an airy palette, teak wood, bamboo and terrazzo tile, complemented by Portuguese ceramics and Hawaiian quilt motifs that recall classic azulejos.

Poolside, The Wiliwili at Hale Hōkūala offers a casual counterpart with poke bowls, plate lunch specials, shave ice, shareable pūpū, tropical cocktails, zero-proof selections, juices and smoothies made with local ingredients. A vibrant mural provides a colorful focal point while complementing the menu's celebration of timeless Hawaiian classics. Both Figueira and The Wiliwili at Hale Hōkūala were developed by StiR Creative Collective, Hilton's in-house food and beverage consultancy, as distinct concepts informed by local culinary traditions and the relaxed island lifestyle.

E Ala Ka Pilina: The Awakening of Connection

E Ala Ka Pilina, the property's signature cultural immersion program, is built around ongoing relationships with cultural practitioners, nonprofits, historians, artisans and educators. Through on-property activities, off-property excursions and culinary storytelling, the program gives visitors opportunities to engage with the people and traditions that continue to define the island.

The Kauaʻi Museum will serve as the inaugural partner for a series exploring the island's history and creative expression within the broader Hawaiian story. Future programming will spotlight agriculture, lei making, traditional aquaculture, land stewardship, hula and Hawaiian storytelling.

A Gateway to the Island's Natural Wonders

On property, travelers can enjoy a pool and fitness center, along with access to a full-service spa, wellness programming, tennis and pickleball courts within the wider Hōkūala resort community. Outdoor offerings include preferred tee times at the Jack Nicklaus Signature Ocean Course at Hōkūala, more than five miles of scenic trails, complimentary bicycles and beach amenities and open green spaces for guests to enjoy.

Visitors can also explore The Farm at Hōkūala, which showcases canoe plants, native crops and agricultural traditions that remain important to the island. Located near Līhuʻe Airport and within reach of destinations such as Hanalei Bay, the North Shore, Waimea Canyon and Kōkeʻe State Park, the property provides an amenity-rich base for exploration.

Meetings and Events with Island Character

With more than 14,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor event space, Hale Hōkūala offers a distinctive setting for meetings, weddings, milestone celebrations and group gatherings. Open-air venues feature ocean and mountain views, along with convenient access to the broader Hōkūala community.

Groups can complement their events with locally inspired dining, wellness activities, golf, cultural programming and island excursions. From executive retreats to destination weddings and social celebrations, planners have a flexible home base infused with the destination's culture and hospitality.
