Willog Launches Integrated Supply Chain Solution 'Willog Vision,' Connecting Record, Response, Prove, and Compensation as One

- Integrates four modules (AIoT devices, monitoring, AI risk management, and insurance) into a single platform spanning every stage from shipment to arrival

- One-stop process: instant alerts when anomalies occur, automatic compliance reports generated in 3 minutes, and insurance payouts

TOKYO and SINGAPORE and LOS ANGELES, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Willog (Co-CEOs Sung-hoon Bae and Ji-hyun Yoon), an AIoT-based supply chain intelligence solutions company, announced the official launch of its integrated supply chain solution, "Willog Vision," on September 17.

The Limits of Fragmented Logistics Solutions

In logistics today, data can only be checked after retrieving a USB from a data logger, and audit reports take 30 minutes each to write by hand. Willog addresses this fragmentation at the root with "Willog Vision," which unifies recording, monitoring, evidence, and insurance on a single set of data.

One Solution, Every Stage

Willog Vision's slogan is "Evidence in Every Move." A single company directly develops and operates the AIoT device (Willog Safe), monitoring software (Control Tower), AI intelligence (Intelligence), and logistics insurance (Insurance), connecting all four stages seamlessly on one set of data.

- Willog Safe (Record): Attaches to cargo and warehouses, recording temperature, shock, and location in real time at 1-minute intervals, with no need to retrieve a USB logger

- Control Tower (Response): Instantly alerts the responsible party when an anomaly occurs and automatically logs the response history, with warehouse, sea, and vehicle status on one screen

- Intelligence (Prove): Predicts and diagnoses risk with a built-in AI Assistant, automatically generating GDP, GMP, KGSP, and HACCP compliance reports within 3 minutes, with tamper verification

- Insurance (Compensation): Data-based custom plans with automated claims covering disposal and re-shipment costs, and accelerated insurance payouts

Tailored for Every Industry

Willog Vision applies tailored scenarios across international transport, warehouses, vehicle logistics, and the bio sector, from customs-hold temperature checks to distinguishing false alarms from real risk.

Willog Vision will be rolled out in phases to existing customers, and new customers can apply for a PoC through Willog's official website.

Sung-hoon Bae, Co-CEO of Willog, said, "Willog Vision connects recording, response, prove, and compensation, freeing logistics managers to focus on strategic decision-making instead of incident handling."

Pujiang Innovation Forum Calls for Deeper Collaboration Amid Changes

SHANGHAI, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A Report from Science and Technology Daily:

"If you want to go fast, go alone. But if you want to go far, go with friends." During the 2026 Pujiang Innovation Forum held in Shanghai from September 11 to 14, Motlalepula Gilbert Matsabisa, professor of pharmacology at the University of the Free State, South Africa, recounted this proverb to Science and Technology Daily.

That spirit ran through the forum. Themed "Sharing Innovation and Shaping the Future: The Mission of the Global Sci-Tech Community amid a New Round of Sci-Tech Revolution," it brought together scientists, policymakers and industry practitioners from more than 50 countries and regions, plus over 20 international organizations.

Over four days, the event featured an opening ceremony, a main forum, 24 sub-forums under three major tracks: basic research, future industries and innovation ecosystems, alongside a range of supporting exhibitions and themed sessions. Discussions spanned cutting-edge areas including AI, quantum science, brain-computer interfaces and biomedicine.

South Africa took on the role of this year's Country of Honor, the first African nation to hold this position, and as part of the Country of Honor program running alongside the forum, the South Africa Pavilion showcased more than 10 projects covering agriculture, medicine, aerospace and hydrogen energy.

Matsabisa, also one of the exhibitors at the pavilion, said the designation put South Africa on the global stage and let the world see its innovation capacity.

At the start of the forum, Eric Rafahele, political and economic counsellor at the South African Embassy in China, hoped it would expand sci-tech cooperation between South Africa and China, and help both explore new areas of collaboration.

Many frontier scientific and technological challenges facing the world today require joint efforts across borders. A string of landmark initiatives were announced at the forum to advance global open innovation and fair academic governance.

Shanghai reached consensus with UNESCO to jointly launch the Global Innovative Cities Alliance, a platform to pool urban innovation wisdom worldwide, boost cross-city collaborative innovation and foster an open, inclusive and sustainable global sci-tech future.

It also released the 2025 World-Class Sci-Tech Journal Directory. The directory's evaluation framework delivers an impartial global academic assessment of journals from emerging economies and newly launched publications, helping build a more balanced global academic ecosystem.

A suite of hard-tech breakthroughs was showcased, including the Pearl Constellation Initiative for space-based computing infrastructure and CAR-T therapy for solid tumors.

Also rolled out were 10 landmark basic research questions covering the mathematical foundations of AI, quantum error correction, early-universe black holes, protein dynamic functions and aging heterogeneity. These questions are designed to guide high-risk, high-value basic research and support sci-tech strategic planning.

At the main forum, experts discussed how AI is transforming scientific research paradigms and bridging the gap between basic research and industrial translation.

Benoit Dubuis, president of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences, stressed that openness and integration are vital to innovation. No single country can tackle today's complex sci-tech challenges on its own. China has unique strengths for joint innovation in scale and speed. He said that exchanges are only a starting point, and tangible, trust-based cooperation is required to deliver real innovation outcomes.

"The Pujiang Innovation Forum offers a platform to learn from each other. I hope that one day, Switzerland will be the Country of Honor of the forum," Dubuis said.

At the opening ceremony, following a congratulatory message by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, China's Minister of Science and Technology Yin Hejun, South Africa's Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Blade Nzimande, officials from Shanghai and Hunan, which was the Province of Honor, as well as representatives of international organizations, shared their thoughts.

Launched in 2008, the annual Pujiang Innovation Forum is co-hosted by China's Ministry of Science and Technology and the Shanghai Municipal Government, serving as a weather vane for global innovation and a booster of collaboration.

HIGH LINE AND CHANEL CULTURE FUND CO-COMMISSION ALISON NGUYEN FOR FIFTH HIGH LINE ORIGINALS FILM
Image File
Original HTML

Nguyenʼs Prior Occupants Unearths the Industrial and Cultural Histories of the High Line and Westbethʼs Past

NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The High Line and CHANEL Culture Fund today announced that Prior Occupants, a new film by Alison Nguyen commissioned by the High Line as the fifth High Line Originals film, and the second High Line Originals co-commissioned with CHANEL Culture Fund, is now on view. The High Line Channel, located in the High Lineʼs covered passage at 14th Street, screens Prior Occupants daily from 10am to 10pm on a loop, through November 16, 2026.

Prior Occupants explores the obscure nuclear history of Westbeth Artist Housing's building—the former headquarters for Bell Laboratories, a research facility tied to the development of communication technologies and, later, the atomic bomb. Inspired by a severed fragment of the original High Line freight rail left embedded in Westbeth's facade, and the High Line's own history of transformation, Nguyen reflects on the historical narratives that persist—and those quietly erased—within sites of adaptive reuse.

"Through extensive research, ongoing conversations and relationship-building with Westbeth residents past and present, and highly crafted visual choreography, Alison Nguyenʼs Prior Occupants sheds vital light on the industrial and scientific legacies built into our surroundings,ˮ said Taylor Zakarin, associate curator of High Line Art. "Iʼm thrilled the High Line and CHANEL Culture Fund could collaborate with Alison to bring this compelling work to life, and to present it outdoors by the very spaces she investigates.ˮ

"Great artists enter into a dialogue with history, revealing new ways to understand the present. Through her new commission, Alison Nguyen excavates the layered histories surrounding the High Line, uncovering a legacy of innovation and human experimentation—and raising questions about technology, memory, and our shared future that feel more urgent than ever,ˮ said Yana Peel, President of Arts, Culture & Heritage, CHANEL. "CHANEL Culture Fund is proud to continue our partnership with the High Line in support of artists whose original ideas celebrate the singular power of human imagination. By bringing ambitious moving-image commissions into public space, we hope to spark curiosity and reflection for the millions of people who encounter them amid the extraordinary urban landscape of the High Line.ˮ

"I'm grateful for the support of the High Line and CHANEL Culture Fund which gave me the resources to create a work that examines the invisible structures of power embedded in a site,ˮ said artist Alison Nguyen. "As the filmmaking process unfolded, relationships I formed with past and present Westbeth artists along with architectural archives opened up directions for the film which I had not anticipated, and was thrilled by.ˮ

Long before Westbeth's conversion into a historic public housing community for artists in 1970, the site was occupied by Western Electric and later Bell Labs—a crucible of innovation where critical cinema, telecommunications, and military technologies were researched, including components later used in the development of the atomic bomb.

Both Bell Labs and Westbeth Artist Housing are places created to pursue large, even utopian ideals. In the case of the former, technological innovation; in the case of the latter government-funded artist housing. Prior Occupants explores what remains of the pursuit of these ideals, how the surrounding architecture has shaped its inhabitants, and the contradictions of present-day Westbeth in the context of the High Lineʼs surrounding neighborhood.

Prior Occupants is an assemblage of audiovisual material including sculpturally re-filmed archival documents, choreographed performance sequences, and layered fragments of audio interviews with the very residents and architects who have shaped Westbeth and the High Line. Through this collage of voices and textures, the artist explores individual and collective relationships to place, technological acceleration, and mortality, and foregrounds the ways in which the structures of the past quietly haunt our future-present. Questioning the relationship between ruination and cultural production, the work asks: What does it mean to stage the decay of an industrial past within public environments and within public artist housing? What role does nature play in these acts of preservation?

Nguyenʼs film weaves together infrastructure, memory, and technology to consider how the legacy of the nuclear age continues to shape our collective experiences, and positions the High Line not just as a space for leisure, but as an active conduit of our historical consciousness.

Alison Nguyen is a visual artist working across video, installation, performance and painting. Using approaches of speculative fiction, documentary research and embodied performance, Nguyen creates works that reconsider how narratives operate within the individual, the institution, the archive, and within the politics of cultural memory.

In addition to Prior Occupants, CHANEL Culture Fund and High Line Art presented a special two-day screening, on September 6 and 7, of two prior commissions from The Window, CHANEL Culture Fund's site-specific public art program in Central London for cutting-edge works exploring the breadth of todayʼs digital technologies. The screening featured Our Bodies (2024-2025), by Cecilia Bengolea, and Inhale/Exhale (2021) by Noémie Goudal.

Another work from The Window, The Last Post (2010) by Shahzia Sikander, will be included in a forthcoming High Line Channel exhibition alongside The Hedge ofi Halomancy (2025) by the artist duo Hylozoic/Desires (artist Himali Singh Soin and musician David Soin Tappeser) in November 2026. Following its exhibition on the High Line, Prior Occupants will screen at The Window in London.

Part of High Line Channel, High Line Originals is High Line Artʼs commissioning program for artists working in time-based media. This initiative invites emerging or underrecognized US-based artists, nominated by a trusted group of contemporary curators, to submit a proposal for a new video work that considers the context of the park in a meaningful way and will resonate with our diverse audience.

High Line Originals launched in 2019 with Tourmalineʼs Salacia, which is now held in the Museum of Modern Artʼs permanent collection. Other past commissions include Onyeka Igweʼs The Miracle on George Green (2021) and Alicia Mersyʼs NYC Wisdom (2024). In 2025, High Line Art partnered with CHANEL Culture Fund, and together co-commissioned Frank WANG Yefengʼs Groundless Flower – ཨ (2025).

Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day Sets New Record, Raises $7.2 Million to Expand Access to Youth Sports
Image File

Third annual statewide campaign supports 349 nonprofits and more than 500,000 young athletes

DENVER, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The third annual Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day campaign raised $7.2 million – surpassing last year's record by 38 percent – to expand access to sports for kids across Colorado.

The campaign, led by the Daniels Fund and Project Play Colorado, drew 4,400 donations and engaged 349 nonprofit organizations working to expand youth sports opportunities. Running Sept. 1–15, the campaign brought together donors, sponsors and community partners to help ensure more young people can experience the joy, health and lifelong benefits of playing sports.

"For the third year, Coloradans showed up in a big way to get more kids off the sidelines and into the game," said Hanna Skandera Grady, CEO and President of the Daniels Fund. "We're incredibly grateful to the thousands of donors who are helping open doors for young people to build the grit, resilience and confidence that stay with them for life."

Community donations were boosted by more than $2 million in matching and incentive funds, including a dollar-for-dollar match for the first $1 million raised online on Sept. 1. New this year, the campaign also featured the America250 Fund, a dedicated $250,000 dollar-for-dollar match for gifts made through donor-advised funds, IRA rollovers and wire transfers.

Matching and incentive support was provided by the Daniels Fund, Alpine Bank, The Anschutz Foundation, Bank of Colorado, Boettcher Foundation, Colorado Health Foundation, Colorado Rockies, El Pomar Foundation, Gary Community Ventures, Liberty Gives, Rose Community Foundation, Suncor, UCHealth, The Weld Trust and others. The online giving platform was hosted and supported by ColoradoGives.org.

Since launching in 2024, Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day has raised $16.1 million and engaged 349 nonprofit organizations serving young people across Colorado. Funds raised through the campaign help nonprofits purchase equipment and uniforms, expand programming, provide financial assistance and create new opportunities and facilities for children and families.

Expanding Opportunities for Every Child

Colorado's youth sports participation rate has reached 64.5%, exceeding the national Healthy People 2030 goal of 63% by the end of the decade. However, significant disparities remain.

According to the 2023–24 National Survey of Children's Health:

- Girls participate in sports at a rate of 61.2%, compared with 67.5% for boys.

- Youth of color participate at a rate of 55%, compared with 72% for white youth.

- Young people from the lowest-income households participate at a rate of 46.5%, compared with 76.8% for those in the highest-income households.

- Youth with disabilities participate at rates approximately 10 percentage points lower than youth without disabilities.

"Colorado has made important gains in youth sports participation, but the biggest challenge is making sure those opportunities reach every child," said Tom Farrey, executive director of Aspen Institute's Project Play. "The gaps for lower-income families and youth, girls and kids with disabilities make clear that there is still work to do. We need to keep building a state of play where every young person feels included, supported and able to participate. The success of this campaign certainly helps fuel that goal."

Positive sports experiences can help young people build confidence, resilience, social connection and skills that support success in school and beyond. Expanding access to sports is also an important part of addressing concerns about youth mental health, physical inactivity and childhood obesity.

The 2026 campaign launched with a Sept. 1 Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field. The campaign also helped inspire similar efforts elsewhere, including Utah's inaugural Youth Sports Giving Day campaign, which runs Sept. 12–26.

About Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day

Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day is an annual statewide online fundraising campaign led by the Daniels Fund and Aspen Institute's Project Play Colorado. Launched in 2024, the campaign unites youth sports nonprofits across Colorado around a singular mission: ensuring every child has the opportunity to experience the joy, health and lifelong benefits of playing sports. MAZDA NAMED NICA'S OFFICIAL AUTOMOTIVE AND SUV PARTNER NATIONWIDE AND PRESENTING SPONSOR OF NICA REGIONAL EVENTS IN MULTI-YEAR PARTNERSHIP
Image File
Original HTML

IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) today announced a new multi-year partnership with Mazda North American Operations (MNAO), naming Mazda NICA's Official Automotive and SUV Partner nationwide and the Presenting Sponsor of NICA Regional Events. The agreement runs through 2029 and puts Mazda's support behind NICA's nonprofit mission to build strong minds, bodies, character, and community through mountain biking.

The partnership is a natural fit. Both NICA and Mazda believe movement can change people, not just move them. NICA believes bikes are powerful tools to build strength, resilience, and character in young people. Mazda likewise describes its purpose as enriching "life-in-motion", putting humans at the center of everything it does. Whether it's a student-athlete finding their rhythm on a climb or a driver connecting with the road ahead, both organizations are united by the belief that movement builds people up.

Mazda also recently announced a multi-year partnership with Trek, a longtime supporter of NICA and one of the nonprofit's other major partners. These complementary investments demonstrate Mazda's confidence in the bicycle as a tool for personal development, and in the positive impact cycling communities have on families.

As the Official Automotive and SUV Partner, Mazda will have a significant impact on the NICA community. "At NICA, everything we do is in service of youth development — building confidence, community, and a lifelong love of the sport in a positive, welcoming environment for every rider and family," said Amanda Carey, NICA's President. "Partners like Mazda, who invest at every level and for years to come, help us grow that community and reach even more young people who deserve a place to belong."

That national commitment comes into sharpest focus this fall, when Mazda serves as Presenting Sponsor of NICA's three Regional Events, the marquee weekends where NICA student-athletes and their families travel to ride, race, learn and connect with each other: Eastern Regionals in Charlottesville, Virginia (October 24–25), Central Regionals in Fayetteville, Arkansas (November 7–8), and Western Regionals in St. George, Utah (November 14–15). NICA's Regional Events have grown quickly in recent years; the organization's most recent Eastern Regional Event alone brought together more than 2,500 riders, coaches, parents, and volunteers. The addition of Mazda's presence will be a keystone of the experience for the community. From a one-of-a-kind expo experience to a signature trailside feature, Mazda's spirit of omotenashi will be in full force at each stop.

"Movement has always been at the heart of the Mazda brand, not simply to get from one place to another, but as a way to enrich our lives," said Brad Audet, chief marketing officer, Mazda North American Operations. "NICA shares that belief, which is exactly why this partnership made sense to us. Together, we're proud to support the young student-athletes and communities that make youth mountain biking such a powerful expression of confidence and potential."

MIAMI, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Lennar Corporation (NYSE: LEN and LEN.B), one of the nation's leading homebuilders, today reported results for its third quarter ended August 31, 2026. Third quarter net earnings attributable to Lennar in 2026 were $284 million, or $1.19 per diluted share, compared to third quarter net earnings attributable to Lennar in 2025 of $591 million, or $2.29 per diluted share. Excluding mark-to-market losses of $53 million on technology investments and one-time items of $39 million, net, in the Company's Financial Services segment, third quarter net earnings attributable to Lennar in 2026 were $294 million, or $1.23 per diluted share, compared to $516 million, or $2.00 per diluted share, excluding mark-to-market gains of $99 million on technology investments, in the third quarter of 2025.

Stuart Miller, Executive Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Lennar, said, "Our third quarter 2026 results reflect consistent focus on our operating strategy of maintaining volume and production while navigating a challenging economic environment. While our earnings of $1.19 per share were below expectations, they reflect the nature of the environment in which we are operating, which has deteriorated since our last earnings call."

"Mortgage rates increased through the quarter, with the 30-year rate at approximately 6.8% at quarter end and even higher since. Rates are responding as inflation remains above the Fed's target, driven by geopolitical tension and higher oil prices. Additionally, consumer confidence has declined as rates and affordability have driven more consumers to slow their purchase decision. Nevertheless, even while market conditions have weakened, the overall housing environment remains constructive as housing shortages continue to drive demand from both primary buyers as well as 'single-family for rent' and 'build-to-rent' buyers."

"Against that backdrop, our team adhered to our strategy of leveraging consistent volume in order to drive costs lower. We delivered 20,840 homes, within our guidance of 20,500 to 21,500, generated 20,879 new orders and produced total revenues of $8.0 billion. Our starts pace and sales pace were both 4.1 homes per community per month across our 1,713 active communities, reflecting the even-flow balance that drives efficiency."

"By maintaining volume, we have improved execution across numerous key metrics. Our construction cost per square foot improved another 1% sequentially, 6% year over year, and 14% since our fourth quarter 2023 baseline. Our cycle time reached a new record low of 116 days, down from 121 days last quarter and 126 days a year ago. Additionally, we reduced our completed, unsold inventory to 1.8 homes per community from 2.1 homes per community last quarter, and our inventory turn stands at 2.4 times. Of the approximately 488,000 homesites we own and control, we own fewer than 2.5%, on our balance sheet. Finally, we ended the quarter with $1.2 billion in cash, as we repurchased 3 million shares of stock for $256 million and repaid $400 million of senior notes."

"Our average sales price was $372,000, reflecting approximately 12.0% in incentives, along with base price adjustments necessary to sustain volume in a market where affordability remains the defining constraint. Our gross margin improved sequentially to 15.8%, with SG&A of 9.2% resulting in a net margin of 6.6%."

"Looking ahead to the fourth quarter of 2026, we expect to generate new orders of approximately 19,500 to 20,500 homes, and to deliver approximately 22,000 to 23,000 homes with gross margin of approximately 15.5% to 16.0%. We expect our average sales price to be in the range of approximately $370,000 to $380,000 and our SG&A to improve toward 8.7% to 9.0%. Given continued pressure on interest rates and the deterioration in market conditions through the quarter, we are moderating our target full-year 2026 deliveries to approximately 80,000 to 81,000 homes, from the 82,000 to 83,000 homes we discussed last quarter."

Mr. Miller concluded, "Our consistent strategy has been to meet demand at affordability and build supply rather than wait the market out. We have prioritized volume to create needed supply for the market, which we deliver at affordable prices, while we leverage scale advantages and ultimately improve margins. The fundamental shortage of housing in America has not been solved. We remain deeply committed to building the homes America needs, at prices families can afford, and to ultimately generate the returns our shareholders deserve."

RESULTS OF OPERATIONS

THIRD QUARTER 2026 COMPARED TO THIRD QUARTER 2025

Homebuilding

Revenues from home sales decreased 6% in the third quarter of 2026 to $7.7 billion from $8.2 billion in the third quarter of 2025. Revenues were lower primarily due to both a 3% decrease in the average sales price of homes and a 3% decrease in the number of home deliveries. New home deliveries were 20,840 homes in the third quarter of 2026, compared to 21,584 homes in the third quarter of 2025. The average sales price of homes delivered was $372,000 in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $383,000 in the third quarter of 2025. The decrease in average sales price of homes delivered in the third quarter of 2026 compared to the same period last year was primarily due to continued weakness in the market.

Gross margins on home sales were $1.2 billion, or 15.8%, in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $1.4 billion, or 17.5%, in the third quarter of 2025. During the third quarter of 2026, gross margins decreased primarily due to lower revenue per square foot and higher land costs year over year, which were partially offset by a decrease in construction costs, reflecting the Company's continued focus on cost-saving initiatives.

Selling, general and administrative expenses were $714 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to $676 million in the third quarter of 2025. As a percentage of revenues from home sales, selling, general and administrative expenses increased to 9.2% in the third quarter of 2026, from 8.2% in the third quarter of 2025, primarily due to less leverage as a result of lower revenues and an increase in marketing and selling expenses.

Financial Services

Operating earnings for the Financial Services segment were $129 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to operating earnings of $177 million in the third quarter of 2025, both amounts are net of noncontrolling interest. The operating earnings in the third quarter of 2026 included one-time items of $39 million, net, primarily related to a litigation accrual reversal resulting from a court judgment. Excluding the one-time items in the current quarter, the decrease in operating earnings was primarily due to lower profit per locked loan and lower lock volume in the mortgage business.

Ancillary Businesses

Operating loss for the Multifamily segment was $3 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to an operating loss of $16 million in the third quarter of 2025. Operating loss for the Lennar Other segment was $84 million in the third quarter of 2026, compared to operating earnings of $62 million in the third quarter of 2025. The Lennar Other operating loss for third quarter of 2026 was primarily driven by mark-to-market losses of $53 million on the Company's technology investments. The Lennar Other operating earnings for third quarter of 2025 were primarily driven by mark-to-market gains of $99 million on the Company's technology investments.

Tax Rate

In the third quarter of 2026 and 2025, the Company had tax provisions of $102 million and $191 million, which resulted in an overall effective income tax rate of 26.4% and 24.4%, respectively. For both periods, the Company's effective income tax rate included state income tax expense and non-deductible executive compensation, partially offset by tax credits. The increase in the effective tax rate for the third quarter of 2026 compared to the prior period was primarily due to the Company's spin-off of Millrose Properties, Inc.

Share Repurchases

In the third quarter of 2026, the Company repurchased 3 million shares of its common stock for $256 million at an average share price of $85.49.
