Winnipeg, MB, June 11, 2026 — Today the Métis National Council (MNC) participated in the welcoming ceremony and reception for the Hudson’s Bay Company Royal Charter of 1670 in Winnipeg, as the historic document begins a new chapter in public stewardship. President Victoria Pruden was invited to attend and was represented by Secretary Sarah Wolfe from the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, who attended on behalf of the MNC. Following its purchase by the Weston and Thomson families, the Charter has been entrusted to a consortium of four public Canadian institutions: The Manitoba Museum, The Archives of Manitoba, The Canadian Museum of History, and The Royal Ontario Museum where it will now be jointly stewarded and made accessible to Canadians.

For the Métis Nation, the Charter holds particular and lasting significance. The fur trade economies and kinship networks that developed under the Hudson’s Bay Company contributed to the historical conditions that supported the emergence of Métis Nation as a distinct Indigenous People, with our own culture, traditions, languages, and nationhood that continues to thrive across the Métis Nation Homeland today. While the Charter itself did not create the Métis Nation, it shaped many of the historical realities through which Métis communities flourished and our Nation emerged.

“The transition of the Charter into public stewardship presents an important opportunity to reflect on our shared history with honesty and complexity,” says President Pruden. “For the Métis Nation, this history is not abstract, it is deeply connected to our origins, our communities, and our continued presence across the Homeland. As Canadians engage with this document, it is important that Métis perspectives and experiences are part of the story being told.”

With the Charter now in public stewardship, MNC calls upon the HBC Royal Charter Consortium to engage meaningfully with the MNC and Métis Governments in the co-development of how the Royal Charter is publicly interpreted and presented, ensuring Métis histories, perspectives, and experiences are meaningfully reflected. As Canadians engage with the Royal Charter and its legacy, the MNC believes it is essential that the full complexity of this shared history be meaningfully understood and reflected. Ensuring Métis voices, experiences, and histories are part of this conversation is critical to advancing understanding, strengthening relationships, and supporting reconciliation for future generations.

Métis National Council and Northwest Territory Métis Nation Convene Leadership Summit to Advance Shared Priorities

The Métis National Council (MNC) and the Northwest Territory Métis Nation (NWTMN) gathered in Saskatoon on July 15–16 for the inaugural NWTMN–MNC Leadership Summit. Leaders from the MNC, the NWTMN, the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, and the Métis Nation of Ontario came together to strengthen relationships, identify shared priorities, and advance collaboration on issues affecting Métis citizens across the Homeland.

The Summit marks an important milestone in implementing and operationalizing the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year between the MNC and the NWTMN. It provided an opportunity for participating governments to deepen relationships, exchange perspectives on shared priorities, and establish a foundation for ongoing collaboration while respecting the distinct governance structures, mandates, and priorities of each government.

“This Summit reflects a shared commitment to strengthening relationships between Métis governments and working together where our priorities align. By creating space for honest dialogue and practical collaboration, we are building a stronger foundation to advance the issues that matter to most Métis citizens across the Homeland.” – President Victoria Pruden

“This Leadership Summit provided an opportunity for the leadership of the NWTMN to listen to and share our perspectives with the participating Métis governments. We look forward to further collaborating with the Métis governments to find common approaches to address outstanding issues with the Government of Canada concerning our rights, claims and human rights. We will continue advocating that Canada honor its requirement to implement the Daniels case and the actions required to implement UNDRIP. We are stronger together in unity and hopefully we can have all Métis together across the Homeland working together to address the inequality our people have been living with for hundreds of years.” – President Garry Bailey

Over the course of two days, leaders engaged in discussions on governance, intergovernmental relations, federal engagement, and shared policy priorities, including implementation of the Daniels decision, health, housing, education, environment and major projects, justice, and Métis claims processes.

The Summit also provided direction to senior officials to continue collaborative work in several priority areas and to develop recommendations for consideration at a future leadership meeting in early 2027.

“One of the Métis National Council’s most important responsibilities is creating opportunities for Métis governments to come together, strengthen relationships and coordinate on issues of shared National importance,” said President Pruden. “This Summit was an important example of that role in action and we look forward to continuing this work with the Northwest Territory Métis Nation and our Governing Members.”

The Leadership Summit builds on the commitments established through the MOU by creating a structured forum for ongoing dialogue, information sharing, and coordinated engagement where interests align. Together, participating governments reaffirmed their commitment to working collaboratively to advance opportunities for Métis citizens while respecting the autonomy and jurisdiction of each government.

Over the past two days, the openness, collaborative spirit, and willingness to exchange knowledge, best practices, challenges, and experiences has strengthened the commitment of Métis governments and the MNC to work together in advancing shared priorities and addressing issues of common interest. Several priorities emerged throughout the discussions, including the opportunity for coordinated advocacy to advance a Métis claims process; implementing of the Daniels decision; securing long-term, sustainable funding for Métis-led justice and policing initiatives; enhancing youth participation across policy development and decision-making; strengthening collaboration on environment, climate change, and emergency management; and ensuring meaningful Métis participation in Canada’s economic development agenda. There was also interest in creating more opportunities for Métis governments to exchange knowledge and share lessons learned on self-government and treaty implementation. The MNC is well positioned as the National Indigenous Organization for Métis to support this work by carrying out its mandate to advocate, convene, and carry out policy research and coordination to advance Métis Nation priorities at the national and international level.

The MNC remains committed to supporting strong relationships among Métis governments and fostering collaborative approaches that advance shared priorities and improve outcomes for Métis citizens. The discussions held in Saskatoon will guide continued engagement between participating governments and inform the next NWTMN–MNC Leadership Summit planned for early 2027.

– 30 –

Since 1983, the Métis National Council has been the national and international voice of the Métis Nation within Canada. Through national research and policy development, the MNC advocates to advance the rights and interests of Métis Governments, including the implementation of the Métis Nation’s inherent right to self-determination and self-government. The MNC is committed to accountability and transparency within its operations, and to its relationships with its Governing Members and other partners.

SŌLACE BOATS INTRODUCES THE ALL-NEW 41CT CENTER CONSOLE CATAMARAN AT THE FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

New 41-foot catamaran brings the SŌLACE approach to engineering, luxury, fishability and performance into an entirely new platform

EDGEWATER, Fla., Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SŌLACE Boats today announced the all-new SŌLACE 41CT, the company's first center console catamaran and the newest addition to its award-winning lineup of premium offshore boats.

Designed and manufactured at SŌLACE's facility in Edgewater, Florida, the 41CT takes the company into a new category while retaining the engineering, craftsmanship, functionality and distinctive design that define the SŌLACE brand.

At 41 feet, 3 inches in overall length with a 12-foot beam, the 41CT was designed to capitalize on the inherent advantages of a twin-hull platform while delivering an experience distinctly SŌLACE. The result is a spacious offshore platform engineered around increased stability, efficiency, range, fishability and passenger comfort.

"The 41CT represents an exciting new chapter for SŌLACE," said Stephen Dougherty of SŌLACE Boats. "We didn't want to build a catamaran simply because the market was moving in that direction. We wanted to look at the platform through the SŌLACE lens and ask how we could make it more functional, more comfortable and more enjoyable for the way our owners actually use their boats."

Designed Around the Entire Day on the Water

The 41CT combines offshore capability with a layout developed for both serious fishing and entertaining.

Expansive bow and cockpit areas provide anglers with abundant working space, while twin 60-gallon livewells and twin 187-gallon fish boxes give the boat the capacity demanded for extended offshore trips.

A 950-gallon fuel capacity supports long-range capability and opens new possibilities for owners who want to travel farther, explore more and spend longer days offshore.

At the helm, dual-row seating provides comfortable accommodations for additional passengers while underway. SŌLACE's innovative Aft Cockpit Bulkhead, first introduced on the 35CS, further transforms the experience aboard the 41CT. The opening bulkhead allows the cockpit environment to adapt to changing weather and conditions while helping isolate the helm and passenger area from cockpit and engine noise when closed.

A mezzanine seat integrated below the bulkhead provides additional aft-facing seating, cupholders and internal storage, creating another comfortable gathering point without sacrificing cockpit functionality.

Throughout the vessel, increased usable space allows the 41CT to transition naturally between fishing, cruising, entertaining and extended days with family and friends.

A New Platform, Built the SŌLACE Way

The 41CT continues SŌLACE's emphasis on vertically integrated design and manufacturing. Developed by the company's engineering team and brought to life within SŌLACE's 200,000-square-foot Edgewater manufacturing campus, the 41CT reflects the company's ability to design, tool and manufacture major components in-house.

The patented twin-hull, bisymmetrical architecture adds an entirely new dimension to the SŌLACE lineup, delivering the stability and space associated with modern performance catamarans while maintaining the finish, ergonomics and attention to detail expected from SŌLACE.

"The opportunity wasn't just to create our first catamaran," Dougherty said. "It was to create a SŌLACE catamaran. Every element had to earn its place on the boat and contribute to the experience, whether you're running offshore, fishing all day or spending the afternoon entertaining with family and friends."

See the 41CT at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

The SŌLACE 41CT will be showcased during the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 28 through November 1, 2026, giving owners, dealers, media and marine industry professionals an opportunity to experience the newest SŌLACE firsthand.

About SŌLACE Boats

In a world where so much is mass-produced, predictable, and uninspired, SŌLACE Boats was created for those who expect more. The brand is built around a culture of rugged individualism, uncompromising craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of perfection—challenging convention and pushing beyond the ordinary in both design and performance.

Founded in 2019 by Stephen Dougherty, SŌLACE Boats draws on a multigenerational boatbuilding legacy and decades of marine innovation. Designed and manufactured in Edgewater, Florida, SŌLACE builds premium offshore boats engineered to serve a wide range of boating missions, from serious fishing and long-range cruising to luxury entertaining and family adventure.

Through advanced engineering, innovative functionality, distinctive design, and meticulous craftsmanship, SŌLACE continues to redefine what owners should expect from a modern center console and offshore boat.

Building Canada Strong must include the Métis Nation
Image File
Original HTML

The Métis National Council (MNC) is calling for an urgent nation-to-nation meeting between Canada and recognized Métis governments to discuss Bill C-39, the Building Canada Strong Act, and its implications on Métis rights and interests.

Earlier this year, MNC, together with the federally recognized Métis governments comprising its Governing Members, responded to Canada’s request for input on two related discussion papers. However, the resulting magnitude of Bill C-39, which establishes a statutory regime that will very likely facilitate adverse impacts on the constitutionally protected rights of Métis communities, most certainly requires the Government of Canada to meaningfully engage beyond a request for written submissions. Co-development of the elements that are most likely to impact Métis rights is required.

The Government of Canada has a statutory obligation to take all measures necessary, in consultation and cooperation with Indigenous peoples, to ensure new legislation, like Bill C-39, is consistent with the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act, specifically outlined in section 5. The MNC and Métis governments do not believe engagement on Bill C-39 has met this threshold.

As the Métis-specific National Indigenous Organization, MNC expects meaningful engagement from Canada with Métis governments on federal initiatives affecting the Métis Nation, including Bill C-39, and can support the convening of Canada and Métis governments in constructive dialogue on this matter. Métis governments, as the governments representing Métis rights-holders, must be engaged.

As part of its research and advocacy mandate, the MNC is reviewing Bill C-39 against the input previously provided to the Government of Canada and has identified areas where Métis rights and interests may be impacted. Canada must address these concerns as the legislation proceeds through Parliament.

Métis governments are ready to work alongside Canada—as full partners—on projects of national interest, strengthening supply chains and the Canadian economy. Early partnership creates greater predictability, helps address impacts sooner, supports efficient project development, and delivers better outcomes for projects and Métis communities.

MNC looks forward to meaningful engagement with Canada as Bill C-39 proceeds, including through the parliamentary committee process. We call on Canada to undertake meaningful consultation directly with Métis governments where the legislation and its implementation may affect Métis rights and interests.

Leica Camera and Formula 1® Announce Licensing Partnership and the Leica Q3 43 Formula 1® Edition

This special edition camera will combine photography and motor racing, perfectly embodying their shared values: precision, teamwork and craftsmanship. All for the decisive moment.

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Two long-established brands, Leica Camera and Formula 1®, have announced their collaboration as part of a licensing partnership and will debut a special edition Leica Q3 43 Formula 1® camera at an exclusive event at the Leica Store and Gallery on Oct. 20th, 2026. The collaboration will be presented to guests by Formula 1 presenter Ariana Bravo and 2009 FIA Formula 1® Drivers' World Champion Jenson Button. A series of 26 motorsport photographs by Callo Albanese will also be on display at the event. The Italian photographer specializes in Formula 1 and motorsport photography.

Both brands have a long tradition of innovation. Driven by this spirit, they created a camera that enables exceptionally authentic photography and translates the fascination sparked by motorsport into a handcrafted design. This is achieved through features including a wireless charging handgrip with a carbon fiber shell, a soft-release button with a carbon inlay and red rim, and a matching thumb rest. Its details also include a non-slip Microvelour covering modelled on a racing steering wheel, an F1 logo on the top plate and lens cap, and a rope strap included in the set that is in keeping with the carbon fiber components and bears both brands' logos. This is craftsmanship from Leica, inspired by the world of Formula 1.

A Partner When It Matters Most: The Decisive Moment

Formula 1 races take place in an environment exerting the highest technical demands. Performance does not stem from a single element, but from the precise interplay of components and team members. All of these factors are united by a commitment to keep fine-tuning this interplay throughout an entire season. A Leica camera is created with a similar approach: the optics, sensor, design and mechanics are fine-tuned until there is nothing that stands between the photographer and their subject.

Leica Camera and Formula 1 share the same values: excellence, precision, courage and the pursuit of perfection. They are also united in the certainty that success is decided in fractions of a second and in moments that cannot be repeated. Whether it's in the cockpit or behind the camera, the responsibility for success lies with one person.

Craftsmanship with a Racing Spirit

The visible fiber structure on this camera edition is made from genuine carbon. This material is not traditionally used in Leica cameras. In motor racing, however, carbon is the defining material because it combines low weight with extreme rigidity. The carbon fiber parts for the Leica Q3 43 Formula 1® Edition have been manufactured and tested exclusively in Germany.

This creates a cohesive look from the handgrip to the thumb rest and soft-release button, and the exceptionally even finish makes the craftsmanship palpable. Light falling on the surface emphasizes the texture, giving it shifting visual depth with every movement. Carbon fiber is positioned at the key points where the camera is held and operated. The connection to motorsport is therefore not just visual, but can be felt with every shot.

The carbon fiber is complemented by a black Microvelour covering whose texture is modelled on racing steering wheels. That's also where the idea for the red accents came from: the control elements on the steering wheel are color-coded to help the driver find them quickly. The soft-release button and one of the two function buttons on the thumb rest feature the same color scheme. The set is completed by a special carrying strap featuring F1 branding and custom-designed packaging with red inlay. Every detail reflects the same level of precision demanded on the track.

The Leica Q3 43

The Leica Q3 43 provided the technical basis for this special edition. With a focal length of 43 millimeters, the APO-Summicron 43 f/2 ASPH. lens provides an angle of view that closely resembles the way the human eye naturally perceives the world. There's no need to zoom, search or miss the moment. This is particularly beneficial in the paddock and around the racetrack, where atmosphere and proximity are key to capturing the authentic essence of the scene. Thanks to Triple Resolution Technology, the BSI CMOS full-frame sensor provides the option of 60, 36 or 18 megapixels. A fast hybrid autofocus system and extensive video functions complete the package.

'Formula 1' Leica Look

The new Leica 'Formula 1' look was specifically developed for this camera to create a rendering that complements the world of motorsport. Higher contrast and richer saturation capture the atmosphere of the racetrack and paddock in the final image. This look is available exclusively on this camera via the Leica FOTOS App, and can be applied immediately while taking photos so that the effect is visible in the viewfinder, rather than only emerging during post-processing. The same app then transfers images and videos to mobile devices. Thus, the collaboration between Leica Camera and Formula 1 is not only reflected in the materials and design, but also in the visual aesthetic itself.

Availability

The Leica Q3 43 Formula 1® Edition is available starting on October 20th, 2026 at all Leica Stores, in the Leica Online Store and from specialist retailers. The retail price is $9,950. This edition is compatible with the Leica Q3 and Q3 43 photography accessories.

Hengrui Pharma Previews ESMO Congress 2026: 64 Research Findings Highlight Continued Progress Across Innovative Pipelines to Advance Clinical Value

- 64 research findings have been accepted, including three Proffered Paper presentations and three Rapid Oral presentations, spanning more than ten areas of oncology and supportive care.

- More than 10 studies have been selected to highlight the latest findings on HER2- and HER3-targeted antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) in breast and lung cancers, advancing research on novel targets and exploring their clinical value across a range of applications.

- Hengrui Pharma continues to expand the clinical value of established products and advance its innovative pipeline, while developing new approaches for difficult-to-treat cancers such as pancreatic cancer. Hengrui puts patient needs at the center of its mission to deliver life-changing clinical value.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026 will take place in Madrid, Spain, from October 23 to 27. Hengrui Pharma will present 64 research findings at the congress, including three studies accepted for Proffered Paper presentations, three for Rapid Oral presentations, 32 for Posters and 26 for e-Posters.

The ESMO Congress is a major global platform for innovative oncology drug development and scientific exchange. Hengrui Pharma has participated for 11 consecutive years since 2016, with a total of 119 research findings accepted between 2023 and 2025. This year, the number of accepted findings continues to grow, covering more than ten cancer areas, including esophageal, gastric, liver, biliary tract, pancreatic, rectal, breast, lung, cervical, prostate and nasopharyngeal cancers, as well as thymic epithelial tumors and sarcomas. The company will also host an exhibition booth for the second consecutive year, showcasing its latest progress in exploring novel targets, expanding the clinical value of its products, and developing its innovative pipeline.

Proffered Paper Presentations Highlight Novel Targets as Hengrui Pharma Advances ADC Innovation

Two independently developed ADCs from Hengrui Pharma, the HER2-targeted trastuzumab rezetecan (SHR-A1811) and the HER3-targeted ruzaltatug rezetecan (SHR-A2009), have both been selected for Proffered Paper presentations at the ESMO Congress. The studies address clinical treatment needs in breast and lung cancers, respectively. The data from these studies will be presented during the congress.

The Proffered Paper presentation on trastuzumab rezetecan will focus on progress from HORIZON-Breast06, a randomized phase 3 study in HER2-low advanced breast cancer, led by principal investigator Academician Binghe Xu of the Cancer Hospital at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. One of the most representative products from Hengrui Pharma's ADC research and development platform, trastuzumab rezetecan is being developed for more than ten indications, including breast, lung, gastric, colorectal and cervical cancers. It is also among the innovative medicines with the highest number of breakthrough therapy designations in China. The study will further explore the therapeutic potential of trastuzumab rezetecan in this patient population and provide new evidence to support the expansion of its clinical applications.

The congress will also feature interim analyses from HERON-Lung01, a phase 3 trial comparing ruzaltatug rezetecan (SHR-A2009) with platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with EGFR-mutated advanced non-small-cell lung cancer that has progressed after EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKI) treatment. The trial is led by principal investigator Professor Yi-Long Wu of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital. In July 2026, following positive results from HERON-Lung01, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) accepted for review the marketing application for ruzaltatug rezetecan, intended to treat adults with EGFR-mutated locally advanced or metastatic non-squamous NSCLC whose disease has progressed following EGFR-TKI therapy. In addition, a Phase III clinical trial is currently underway to evaluate ruzaltatug rezetecan in combination with EGFR TKI as a first-line treatment for patients with EGFR-mutated locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC. Outside China, ruzaltatug rezetecan has received Fast Track designation from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of patients with EGFR-mutated metastatic NSCLC whose disease has progressed following treatment with a third-generation EGFR-TKI and platinum-based chemotherapy.[1] As development progresses from early exploration to larger-scale evaluation of efficacy, the latest findings on ruzaltatug rezetecan will provide new clinical evidence on the therapeutic potential of HER3-targeted ADCs in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer.

With HER2 and HER3 among its key targets, Hengrui Pharma has built an ADC development pipeline spanning multiple targets and continues to expand potential applications across cancer types and treatment settings. Its portfolio combines further development of established targets with exploration of emerging targets.

Advancing Commercialization and R&D Innovation to Expand Clinical Value

At this year's ESMO Congress, Hengrui Pharma will also present the latest research findings from its established products and innovative pipeline. Camrelizumab, a domestically developed PD-1 inhibitor with a leading number of approved indications and cancer types covered, will be featured in a Proffered Paper presentation about UNION, a phase 3 trial of neoadjuvant short-course radiotherapy followed by camrelizumab and chemotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer. Hengrui Pharma will also use the Rapid Oral session to present the latest findings on its phase 2 study into Nectin-4-targeted ADC SHR-A2102 in recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer, providing evidence to support further exploration of its clinical development potential in additional cancer types.

Alongside expanding existing treatment options, Hengrui Pharma is actively pursuing therapies for difficult-to-treat cancers such as pancreatic cancer. A combination regimen based on its independently developed KRAS G12D inhibitor HRS-4642 has been selected for a Rapid Oral presentation. This presentation will feature preliminary results from a phase 2 study of HRS-4642 plus chemotherapy, with or without adebrelimab, as perioperative therapy for KRAS G12D-mutant pancreatic cancer. HRS-4642 injection in combination with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel has been granted breakthrough therapy designation by the CDE of the NMPA for the first-line treatment of advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer with a KRAS G12D mutation[2]. The research may offer new treatment possibilities for patients with pancreatic cancer and new approaches to exploring targeted therapies for KRAS mutations.

From expanding the clinical value of established products to pursuing advances in its innovative pipeline and difficult-to-treat cancers, Hengrui Pharma continues to drive clinical value through R&D innovation, opening up more treatment possibilities for patients with cancer.

Expanding Development Pathways to Bring Chinese Innovation to the World

Following its first exhibition booth in 2025, Hengrui Pharma will again host a booth at this year's ESMO Congress, providing a platform for international scientific exchange on its innovative products and related research. Representatives from Hengrui Pharma's leading R&D and innovation teams will also attend the congress to engage with oncology experts and researchers from around the world and explore how pharmaceutical innovation can benefit more patients globally.

Jo Feng, President and COO of Hengrui Pharma, said: "This year marks the eleventh time we have participated in ESMO, with 64 research presentations - a new record for Hengrui. We look forward to sharing our latest advances in innovative drug development, presenting clinical evidence demonstrating meaningful benefits for patients, and bringing more Chinese innovation to benefit patients worldwide."

Hengrui Pharma will present additional research data and updates throughout this year's ESMO Congress, further demonstrating the exploration and development of innovative Chinese medicines in global oncology.

INSIS Brings Natural Ease into Focus Through Materials and Subtle Chinese Design

Recent coverage in ELLE Italia and Fashion Law Journal explores the Chinese womenswear brand's approach to clothing, from its signature Asymmetric Pants to the relationship between fabric, body and everyday life.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- INSIS, the Chinese womenswear brand founded in 2015, brings together tactile materials, considered construction and subtle Chinese influences through its approach to Natural Ease. Recent features in ELLE Italia and Fashion Law Journal, alongside ELLE Italia's coverage of the brand's participation in Venice's The Third Shore, introduce international readers to the ideas and product decisions behind this approach.

For INSIS, Natural Ease begins with the experience of wearing a garment: how a fabric feels against the skin, how a cut accommodates movement, and how a piece fits into different parts of the day. These considerations connect the brand's merino wool knitwear, alpaca-blend outerwear and signature Asymmetric Pants, giving its collections a consistent emphasis on comfort, proportion and individual ways of dressing.

Natural Ease, from fabric to fit

With a core team from the textile industry and a product research and development headquarters established in Shanghai in 2019, INSIS treats material selection as an early design decision. The weight, texture and behaviour of a fabric help determine the garment's shape and construction.

Its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection includes 17.5-micron superfine Australian merino wool knitwear, yak-fibre-and-wool knits, and outerwear combining Suri alpaca with wool. Fine merino wool brings softness to pieces worn close to the skin. Yak fibre contributes warmth, while Suri alpaca adds lustre and fluidity to outerwear. The choice of yarn, blend and construction allows these qualities to take different forms.

Natural Ease also depends on the less visible work of pattern-making. Softened shoulder lines, eased armholes and seamless knitwear address how clothing rests against the body and moves with it. Selected reversible and adjustable pieces offer additional ways to wear a garment as routines and preferences change.

In its interview with INSIS, "Why 'Rooting' in Time Is Fashion's Most Radical Choice," Fashion Law Journal examines how the brand translates its ideas into decisions about materials, development, pricing and fit. The conversation gives practical context to Natural Ease, connecting the feel of a finished garment with the work involved in making it.

Asymmetric Pants and a subtle Chinese influence

The INSIS Asymmetric Pants are a signature expression of this approach. Their off-centre fronts and balanced proportions give everyday trousers a distinctive silhouette, with related designs developed in different fabrics and lengths.

Within this design language, the curved detail of the angled fly front draws inspiration from traditional Chinese architecture. That reference becomes a line in the pattern and a change in the proportions of the garment. Its origin can be understood through the construction, while the trousers remain easy to combine with a contemporary wardrobe.

The INSIS Asymmetric Wide-leg Pants feature an asymmetric wrap front, front pleats and curved side seams in brushed twill. The wider range also includes cotton-linen and wool-blend trousers, adapting the brand's interest in asymmetry to different textures and wearing needs.

This is how INSIS approaches subtle Chinese design: architectural references and an attention to material enter the structure of the clothing. A curve, a fold or an altered proportion can carry cultural meaning through a detail that feels familiar in everyday wear.

Time, Nature and Body

ELLE Italia's feature on INSIS explores the brand through Time, Nature and Body, connecting its approach to materials and construction with the everyday experience of wearing clothes. These ideas give context to Natural Ease: the feel of a fabric, the freedom to move, and the place a garment can hold in a wardrobe over time.

INSIS develops selected styles across seasons, revisiting fabrics, construction and fit. This continuity allows familiar pieces to evolve and gives wearers the opportunity to return to shapes that work for them. Natural Ease extends into this longer relationship with clothing: finding pieces that can accompany changing circumstances without demanding a new wardrobe for each one.

The brand's cultural participation brings these interests into a wider conversation. In September 2026, INSIS took part as a co-creator of The Third Shore's founding event in Venice, where cinema, science, art and craftsmanship came together. ELLE Italia's report on The Third Shore provides the context for that gathering and its exchanges across disciplines.

For INSIS, questions about materials, making and cultural knowledge have a direct connection to clothing. They inform both its product development and its expression, "Clothing, for being, for becoming"—an invitation for wearers to find their own relationship with what they wear.

About INSIS

Founded in China in 2015, INSIS is a womenswear brand with a background in textiles and a product research and development headquarters established in Shanghai in 2019. Its collections bring together Natural Ease, an emphasis on materials and subtle Chinese influences across trousers, knitwear, outerwear and everyday wardrobe pieces.
