New updates coming to Apple Creator Studio

Apple today introduced updates to Apple Creator Studio, the powerful collection of creative and productivity apps. Pixelmator Pro for iPad adds edge-refinement tools for advanced selections; native video captured on iPhone 18 Pro can now have Cinematic mode effects applied during editing using Final Cut Pro and Motion; and Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform gain new templates and creative tools.

All-New Templates for New Ideas

Pixelmator Pro adds two new template collections on Mac and iPad, including designs for sports and action-packed projects, and templates for launching a new creative idea, business, or product. A new Podcasts category introduces cover artwork designed to make shows stand out, sized appropriately for major podcast platforms.

Pixelmator Pro for iPad also brings Select and Mask from Mac, giving creatives dedicated controls for precise mask and selection refinements — including the ability to preserve fine detail along complex edges like hair or fur.

End-to-End Cinematic Video

Final Cut Pro and Motion on Mac bring new ways to add Cinematic mode effects to video captured natively on iPhone 18 Pro. Editors can adjust focus points and depth of field directly in the Final Cut Pro timeline. Compressor lets editors convert video with Cinematic mode effects back into the previous Cinematic mode format, and adds new HEVC and MPEG-4 export presets for social sharing.

Time-Saving Features to Boost Productivity

Apple Creator Studio subscribers get new, professionally designed templates and themes in Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. And intelligent slide generation in Keynote now automatically creates images tailored to a presentation.

Keynote, Pages, and Numbers users can more easily collaborate and get help in the moment, with the ability to request access to a shared presentation, document, or spreadsheet. Pages for Mac also adds Screen View, which optimizes content for reading and focused writing, and Numbers adds new trigonometry, statistics, and logic functions for solving complex problems in a spreadsheet.

Freeform gains several highly requested features. Boards now automatically adapt to Dark Mode, and folders let users organize boards into collections and invite others to collaborate. Writing Tools with Apple Intelligence can rewrite, proofread, and summarize handwritten notes; users can also request access to collaborate on shared files, or automate adding content using Shortcuts. Freeform becomes even more powerful in visionOS 27, letting users pull multiple items from a board — including images, videos, sticky notes, shapes, and 3D models — into their space, and view 3D models together as a group.

UPDATE

September 29, 2026

Final Cut Camera now supports variable aperture on iPhone 18 Pro and even more pro options with iOS 27

Final Cut Camera, the professional filming app for iPhone, receives a major update with version 2.4, adopting a new design, adding support for variable aperture on iPhone 18 Pro, and giving creators even more pro options with the release of iOS 27. The new version is available as a free software update beginning today, September 29.

Redesigned from the ground up, Final Cut Camera gives creators even easier access to popular settings like shutter angle, ISO, and white balance, along with customizable overlays, including false color and clipping indicators for proper exposure, and improved focus peaking with sensitivity control. A new tally light indicates when recording is underway, and a two-finger tap now clears the viewfinder so users can focus on the shot.

With iPhone 18 Pro, users can take advantage of the new Fusion Main camera with variable aperture — the most advanced camera Apple has ever made — which brings aperture control to iPhone for the first time. Final Cut Camera allows creators to precisely dial in their aperture settings, or choose between shutter priority and aperture priority modes, to record stunning videos. The update also unlocks Cinematic mode effects for regular video, including footage captured in ProRes and Apple Log, allowing creators to adjust focus points and depth of field while editing in Final Cut Pro.

With iOS 27, Final Cut Camera adds support for professional video scopes, clean SDI out, and genlock offset. Now creators can accurately monitor their video using the RGB Parade — which displays the red, green, and blue color channels to help check color balance and exposure — and the histogram. With clean SDI out, creators can send a clean video signal using an HDMI-to-SDI converter for broadcast-quality streaming. And with genlock offset, creators can compensate for image artifacts from a recorded display or for latency differences between their iPhone and other genlocked cameras.

Apple and The King’s Trust launch initiative to empower the next generation of creatives

Apple and The King’s Trust are building on their longstanding partnership by launching an immersive new education program to help young people build careers in the creative industries. The Apple x King’s Trust Creative Labs will offer young people meaningful engagement with Apple experts across industries as they explore a variety of career pathways, equipping them with the technology, resources, skills, confidence, and expertise needed to realize their potential.

A first cohort of up to 20 young people ages 18 to 30 will join specialized workshops to learn valuable, industry-aligned skills using Apple technologies. The immersive educational experience began this week with music industry and creative workshops, aligned to the recent opening of Apple Music Hall at Battersea Power Station in London, with more sessions and cohorts to come over the course of the next year.

Apple has long supported educational programming for learners of all ages and backgrounds in the UK and around the world. Its offerings aim to help participants gain needed skills, access a wide range of resources, and succeed in the workforce.

“At Apple, we believe education is a powerful force for equity and opportunity,” said Alisha Johnson Wilder, Apple’s senior director of Global Community Impact. “For years, we’ve been proud to work alongside The King’s Trust to spark creativity and open doors for young people across the UK. With the launch of the Apple x King’s Trust Creative Labs, we’re taking that commitment further, connecting the next generation of creators and innovators directly with our experts, technology, and mentorship to help them build vital skills, discover their passions, and thrive in the workforce.”

This year marks the 50th anniversary of The King’s Trust. Since it was founded by His Majesty The King, as the Prince of Wales, in 1976, it has helped 1.3 million young people across the UK reach their potential by developing life skills, preparing for employment, accessing job opportunities, and launching their businesses. At least $15 billion of social value can be attributed directly to the impact of The Trust’s programs over the last 50 years, and many of the participants it has supported over the last five years have moved into work, education, or training.

“Together with Apple, we have already opened up valuable opportunities for thousands of young people across the UK through our longstanding partnership,” said Jonathan Townsend, The King’s Trust’s UK chief executive. “We are proud to build on this work with the Creative Labs program, an exciting new chapter in our partnership that will help even more young people develop the confidence and creative digital skills they need to take their next steps toward employment. We cannot wait to see how they use these experiences to realize their potential and discover where their talents can take them.”

Since 2019, Apple’s support has enabled The King’s Trust to expand STEAM programming to schools in every region across the country through the Achieve program. Using Apple’s coding education resources, young people work collaboratively and think strategically to develop apps that address the needs and goals of their communities. Additionally, The King’s Trust’s 12-week Team program offers young adults access to Apple technology and learning resources to support their efforts to earn a Personal Development and Employability qualification.

Apple is also working with The King’s Trust to develop resources that build AI literacy, creativity, and agency among educators and young people, and to empower educators to thoughtfully integrate the latest technologies within their teaching practices.

App Store Indie Games Week kicks off today

Seven acclaimed indie games, including Sifu, Vampire Crawlers, and No Man’s Sky, make their App Store debut

Today, Indie Games Week lights up the App Store with a celebration of the incredible catalog of imaginative games made by independent teams with big dreams. Players worldwide can jump into their next adventure with seven highly acclaimed indie games, available for download or pre-order on iPhone and iPad. All week, the App Store will spotlight these indie gems with daily features and curated collections.

“Indie games are constantly pushing the boundaries of creativity to deliver unique gameplay experiences to Apple users, and we wanted to take a moment to celebrate these games and the teams that take creative risks to push gaming forward,” said Carson Oliver, Apple’s head of App Store Worldwide. “Whether from a solo developer or a growing studio, the App Store gives bold ideas a global stage — turning daring visions into worldwide hits. We’re thrilled with the incredible games launching on the App Store this week and amazed by their breathtaking artistry, brilliant design, and deeply moving stories.”

There are whole new worlds to discover during Indie Games Week, from building empires, to brawling through cinematic combat, to getting lost in another universe entirely. With the critically acclaimed Sifu, Indie Games Week puts the art of combat front and center. This stylish third-person brawler follows a young kung fu student on a relentless path of revenge. Battles are ferocious and unforgiving, with enemies attacking simultaneously, forcing players to parry strikes, chain combos, and weaponize everything around them. Sifu arrives fully adapted for iPhone and iPad, with custom-tuned touch controls, a reworked camera system, and full controller support.

For players looking for quick bursts of strategy mixed with dark humor, Vampire Crawlers is an invitation to rough up skeletons, bats, and other nefarious creeps in a gothic card battler. The spin-off of the smash hit Vampire Survivors cleverly trades dodging bullets for tactical deck building. Players conquer chaotic dungeon runs by discovering game-changing card combos, uncovering secret relics, and mastering the luck of the draw.

After celebrating a decade of continuous evolution, Hello Games’ groundbreaking space odyssey No Man’s Sky makes its mobile debut on iPhone and iPad on October 28. The game includes every major content expansion to date, including the most recent Cosmos update, where players can command their own space stations. Set in an infinite, procedurally generated universe rendered entirely at runtime, No Man’s Sky lets players explore, trade, fight, and survive across an interconnected galaxy — all in the palm of their hands.

Also this week, players can guide a curious feline through an open-world metropolis in Little Kitty, Big City, assemble card armies to conquer royal adversaries in the strategic kingdom builder 9 Kings, dig deep to fend off foes in the alien mining simulator Dome Keeper, or grapple with agonizing moral choices to save a crumbling empire in Yes, Your Grace 2: Snowfall. All will be featured throughout Indie Games Week and are available now to download on the App Store.

To discover more of the App Store’s indie games catalog, explore this in-depth overview of indie gems curated by App Store editors. On Mac, players can browse a great catalog of standout indie titles too in this indie games guide.

Introducing Apple Home Collection, a new lineup of smart home accessories

PRESS RELEASE

Introducing Apple

Home Collection, a new lineup of smart home accessories

In collaboration with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, Apple brings the simplicity, reliability, and privacy of iPhone and Apple Home to a new suite of smart cameras, thermostats, and a door lock

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple today announced Apple Home Collection, a new lineup of smart home accessories — including indoor and outdoor cameras, thermostats, temperature sensors, and a video doorbell and door lock — designed in collaboration with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric.1 These new accessories are simple to set up starting with one tap with iPhone, and everything is managed through the Apple Home app — no separate app or account required. Each accessory is encrypted end-to-end in Apple Home, so only users and the people they choose can access their home data.

Building on the thousands of Works with Apple Home and Matter accessories available today, Apple Home Collection offers customers a new array of recommended products to better understand what’s happening inside and outside their home, manage access, and keep the temperature just right throughout the day. Availability for all products begins in December, with select accessories available starting early 2027.

“Apple Home Collection makes it easy to choose smart home accessories with confidence,” said Matthew Costello, Apple’s vice president of Hardware Engineering. “Working closely with industry leaders LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, we designed every accessory to work seamlessly with Apple Home, so managing your home is simple, reliable, and private.”

A New Kind of Apple Home

Works with Apple Home and Matter certification have allowed a wide array of third-party accessories to connect with Apple’s smart home ecosystem for years, and Apple Home Collection takes it even further. Apple worked closely with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric to create an integrated Apple Home experience across the new product lineup. And like all accessories in Apple Home, Apple Home Collection products are designed for privacy, with Home app data encrypted end-to-end, so LG Electronics, Schneider Electric, and Apple can’t read it.

These new Apple Home Collection products feature a clean, minimal aesthetic and premium materials, with every detail considered, from how they mount and adjust to how they look and feel alongside Apple products throughout the home. Each product can be set up starting with a single tap with iPhone, controlled entirely from the Home app and using Siri, and work as either standalone accessories or together as a connected system.

“LG Electronics has spent decades developing technologies and products designed around the way people live,” said Kihyun Jung, LG Electronics’ executive vice president. “Working closely with Apple, we’ve co-created a more connected, intuitive, and convenient home experience for our customers.”

“As a global leader in energy technology, we are proud to bring our experience in innovative and advanced climate control to Apple Home,” said Olivier Blum, Schneider Electric’s CEO. “Schneider Home’s new Smart Thermostat is a true collaboration with Apple to give customers a seamless way to help manage their home’s energy use, effortlessly blending efficiency with everyday comfort and simplicity.”

Home Monitoring

LG’s lineup of four cameras gives users a private and intelligent way to monitor their homes when using a home hub like Apple HomeView, HomePod, HomePod mini, or Apple TV 4K. Every camera captures up to 2.5K resolution video and recognizes people, familiar faces, pets, vehicles, and packages, with video history securely stored in users’ supported iCloud+ plan, so there’s no separate camera subscription.2

The lineup includes the following devices:

- LG’s Video Doorbell offers dual cameras that capture separate views of visitors and packages — allowing users to switch between the front and bottom camera views seamlessly — along with a built-in spotlight and a chime that plays through HomeView, HomePod, and HomePod mini. The front camera captures 2.5K resolution video, and the bottom camera captures full HD resolution.

- LG’s Floodlight Cam delivers powerful perimeter monitoring with adaptive dual floodlights that activate automatically when motion is detected, and low-light color night vision that preserves clarity in darker conditions so users can see more of what’s happening outside.

- LG’s Outdoor Cam also offers low-light color night vision and can be easily angled, delivering flexible outdoor coverage with simple self-installation.

- LG’s Indoor Cam takes a distinctive approach to privacy in the Home app by automatically tilting upward and downward to adjust the view when users check in on the home, and tilting back down to stop monitoring as soon as the first member of the household returns. Users can also tilt the camera manually or in the Home app at any time, whether to take a quick look around the room or adjust the view to exactly where they need it.

Each camera works with iCloud+, giving users access to 10 days’ worth of event video history. On eligible iCloud+ plans, Apple Intelligence adds automatic video descriptions that summarize what’s happening in a clip, along with the ability to search footage using natural, descriptive language.3 Built-in storage keeps cameras recording even when Wi-Fi goes down, and improvements to the way footage is captured and stored ensure detected moments aren’t missed during a network outage. Users can view live footage and camera activity at any time right from the Home app on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K, or HomeView — with quick live snapshots that give an at-a-glance view without needing to open a full livestream.

Home Access

LG’s Smart Deadbolt Lock brings a new level of convenience to home access. Using Ultra Wideband technology, the lock can tell how close a user is and when they’re approaching the door. As a user with a home key on a compatible iPhone or Apple Watch walks up, the door unlocks automatically, with no tapping required. For flexibility, users can also tap to unlock with an iPhone or Apple Watch, use an integrated PIN pad, or rely on a hidden backup key slot. The lock can sense if the door has been opened, closed, or tampered with, alerting users if it’s open even while locked. Guest access can also be shared directly through the Home app, making it simple to grant a dog walker, house sitter, or visiting family member their own way in.

Controls in the Home app allow the doorbell and lock to work together as a front-door system — letting users see who’s there and unlock the door in a single view or by asking Siri. When a visitor rings the bell, a chime sounds through HomeView, HomePod, or HomePod mini, and a notification appears on the user’s Apple devices, like iPhone or iPad. From wherever they are, users can see who’s at the door, speak to the visitor, and unlock the door for them. The new smart lock is Matter compatible and supports Aliro, working entirely locally so core access functions continue even without an internet connection.

Home Climate

Two new Smart Thermostats are available — one from LG Electronics and one from Schneider Electric — so users can choose the product that best fits their home’s broader energy ecosystem. Using on-device intelligence from iPhone, Adaptive Temperature in the Home app automatically adjusts the thermostats based on whether someone is at home, winding down at night, or away, ensuring the home is always at the right temperature without any manual scheduling.

In the contiguous U.S., Clean Energy Guidance can shift heating and cooling to cleaner, lower-cost periods for users with a compatible utility plan, and the Home app displays usage insights over time, including peak and off-peak rate information. The new thermostats can read temperature and humidity across multiple rooms using LG Electronics’ and Schneider Electric’s new standalone temperature and humidity sensors, or the sensors already built into HomeView, HomePod, and HomePod mini.

Both thermostats and temperature and humidity sensors are Matter compatible and DIY-friendly, and work with a broad range of HVAC systems, with on-device wire detection to simplify installation.

One Home, Working Together

Every product across the new lineup shares a consistent, seamless setup and control experience. Starting with a single tap with iPhone, the accessory is added to Apple Home, similar to setting up HomePod — with no additional app to download and no separate account to create. Every device supports Thread, helping it maintain connectivity even if a Wi-Fi connection drops. Products also automatically update their network credentials if a customer changes their home Wi-Fi, eliminating a common smart home frustration.

The accessories are designed to work together, and users can control every product with Siri. A single “Good Morning” scene can simultaneously adjust the thermostat, tilt an indoor camera down while a user is getting ready, and start music on HomePod. Using on-device intelligence from iPhone or Apple Watch, users can set up Apple Home to recognize key moments throughout the day: As the last user leaves for work, the thermostat adjusts for an empty home, the door locks, and cameras begin monitoring again. Before they arrive home, the thermostat begins adjusting the temperature, and the front door unlocks automatically as they approach.

Privacy at Home

Privacy is foundational to Apple Home. Camera footage and personal data in the Home app are stored end-to-end encrypted and never accessible to LG Electronics, Schneider Electric, or Apple.

PRESS RELEASE

October 13, 2026

Apple announces the next generation of HomePod mini with support for Siri AI, beautiful new colors, and rich sound

With a profoundly more capable and conversational Siri AI, new ways to enjoy music, and a more immersive home theater experience, HomePod mini does more than ever before

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple today announced HomePod mini 2, featuring Siri AI, gorgeous new colors, and enhanced audio experiences. Siri AI,1 coming to HomePod mini 2 in a future software update, is a profoundly more capable and conversational assistant with personal context understanding, broad world knowledge that powers tasks like richer music discovery, and the ability to tap into even more apps — bringing a whole new level of capability to HomePod mini.2

Users can enjoy room-filling audio with a single speaker, in a stereo pair, or using multiroom audio. When paired with the new Apple TV 4K, HomePod mini 2 supports four-speaker surround sound — Apple’s most immersive home theater setup yet. And HomePod mini makes it easy for different users to manage the connected home with just a voice command, securely controlling accessories and running automations.

HomePod mini 2 can be pre-ordered starting today in pink, green, blue, white, and midnight, with availability beginning Friday, October 30.

“HomePod mini 2 brings together Siri AI, gorgeous new colors, and incredible audio,” said Kaiann Drance, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Home Product Marketing. “With Siri AI, it understands you better than ever, drawing on personal context and broad world knowledge to make music discovery even richer. It fills a room with sound on its own, which gets even bigger in a stereo pair or with multiroom audio, and when paired with the new Apple TV 4K, it delivers our most immersive home theater setup yet. And with just your voice, HomePod mini makes it easy to securely control your accessories and run automations across the connected home.”

Siri AI Transforms the HomePod mini Experience

Powered by an entirely new architecture built on the latest generation of Apple Foundation Models, Siri AI transforms the HomePod mini experience and helps users get more done than ever before.

When paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad, HomePod mini can tap into a user’s personal context to help them find what they need in the moment. HomePod mini can recognize up to six users in a household by their voice and securely connect to their device across apps like Messages and timers, while playing their favorite music, and more. Siri AI can also privately act on this context across a user’s iPhone and iPad apps to complete tasks like finding a song a friend recommended in a text, setting a reminder tied to a calendar event or location, locating a recipe from an email, or adding ingredients to a grocery list. With broad world knowledge, Siri AI can answer questions on almost any topic by getting up-to-date information from the web. And users can go back and forth with Siri in a conversation like never before.

Once Siri AI is enabled on a supported HomePod mini speaker, even users without an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad will benefit from Siri AI’s broad world knowledge; its ability to have rich, natural conversations; and its improved music discovery.

Immersive Audio Experiences

HomePod mini delivers rich 360-degree sound from its compact footprint, whether it’s used as a single speaker, in a stereo pair, or as part of a multiroom audio setup. Powered by the Apple S10 chip and advanced computational audio, it analyzes music in real time to optimize dynamic range, loudness, and acoustic performance. For the first time, users can create a four-speaker surround sound experience with Apple TV 4K (4th generation) and HomePod mini 2. Together, the four speakers and the new Apple TV 4K intelligently recognize each speaker’s position in the room, so audio timing and levels are automatically calibrated to the space.3

The new HomePod mini can serve as a speaker for Mac, delivering expansive sound for everything from movies and gaming to FaceTime and video calls.4 Finished in complementary colors, the new HomePod mini creates a beautifully unified desktop setup with Mac.

Introducing Sound Glow

With Sound Glow, the top of HomePod mini transforms into a visual canvas that glows and pulses in sync with the music, reacting in real time to bass and treble.5 The song’s album artwork from Now Playing generates a color-matched light experience that’s unique to every song, and users can pick a soundscape like rain to trigger bespoke animations for a soothing atmosphere.

Effortless Smart Home Management

HomePod mini makes controlling the connected home easy at an incredible value. With just their voice, users can conduct a series of smart home actions, including locking the front door; closing the garage when leaving the house; and lowering the blinds, adjusting the thermostat, or turning off the lights at bedtime. With the Home app, users can automate their smart home accessories and create scenes to control multiple accessories at the same time. As a home hub, HomePod mini also lets users securely control accessories from the Home app on iPhone, whether they’re at home or away.6

Sound Recognition gives HomePod mini users peace of mind by listening for a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm and, if one is detected, sending a notification immediately to the user’s iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. Using the Home app, users can check in via HomePod mini and listen and talk to someone at home to make sure everything is all right.7

The new HomePod mini also works seamlessly with smart home accessories, including Apple Home Collection8 video doorbells and cameras, using Face Recognition to announce who is at the door.9

Private and Secure by Design

As with every Apple product, privacy and security are foundational to HomePod mini. Siri AI takes full advantage of the bold new architecture for Apple Intelligence. Siri requests on HomePod mini 2 can use on-device processing or Private Cloud Compute, which extends the privacy of the device to the cloud. When processed in Private Cloud Compute, data is not stored or made accessible to Apple or anyone else.

With powerful new features and unrivaled privacy protections, Siri remains the world’s most private digital assistant.

HomePod mini 2 and the Environment

HomePod mini 2 is built with the environment in mind and drives progress toward Apple’s ambitious plan to be carbon neutral across its entire footprint by 2030. HomePod mini features 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets, and 100 percent recycled copper, gold plating, and tin solder in all Apple-designed printed circuit boards. HomePod mini 2 meets Apple’s high standards for energy efficiency and safe chemistry. As with all Apple products, its paper packaging is 100 percent fiber-based10 and designed to be recycled.

Pricing and Availability

- Customers in the U.S. and more than 23 other countries and regions can pre-order HomePod mini 2 starting today from apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app in pink, green, blue, white, and midnight, with availability in stores beginning Friday, October 30.

- HomePod mini 2 is available for $149 (U.S.).

- Siri AI will be available in English on HomePod mini 2 via a future software update in the U.S., Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK.

Apple unveils the new Apple TV 4K, supercharged by Siri AI

A more capable and conversational Siri, faster performance, and an even more immersive home theater setup elevate the entertainment experience

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple today announced the next generation of Apple TV 4K, delivering its most immersive home theater experience yet. The new Apple TV 4K features Siri AI, an entirely new version of Siri powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence, transforming how users search for, discover, and enjoy their favorite movies and TV shows through a full-screen Siri AI experience.1 With built-in far-field microphones, Apple TV 4K also lets users talk to Siri completely hands-free.2

The new Apple TV 4K delivers even faster performance and, when paired with four HomePod mini 2 or HomePod (2nd generation) speakers, unlocks the most immersive home theater surround sound setup Apple has ever offered. As a home hub, Apple TV 4K also makes managing the smart home easier than ever, with Apple Intelligence-generated camera activity descriptions and summarized notifications in the Home app, and control of accessories and scenes.3

The new Apple TV 4K can be pre-ordered starting today, with availability beginning November 13.

“The new Apple TV 4K is our most immersive home theater experience yet,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “With Siri AI, finding something to watch becomes a full-screen, conversational experience, and with built-in far-field microphones, it’s completely hands-free. Pair it with HomePod for the best surround sound setup we’ve ever offered, and it makes managing your Apple Home accessories easier than ever. Now, alongside HomeView, HomePod mini 2, and Apple Home Collection, it’s part of the most connected Apple Home we’ve ever built.”

An Entirely New Version of Siri Powered by Apple Intelligence

Apple TV 4K brings Siri AI to the living room with a rich, full-screen experience. An entirely new version of Siri powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence, Siri AI is a profoundly more capable and conversational assistant with personal context understanding, broad world knowledge, and the ability to take even more systemwide app actions, making it effortless to find entertainment. Users can simply ask Siri “What Apple TV shows won at the Emmy Awards this year?” and see beautiful poster art pulled directly from the Apple TV app, along with relevant suggestions like “More award-winning comedies” to keep exploring. While watching, users can ask Siri AI follow-up questions and tap into Siri AI’s broad world knowledge to go deeper into a show, asking things like “Where was Pluribus filmed?” or “Is this appropriate for a 15-year-old?” Responses appear in a compact, subtle overlay, providing helpful information when viewers ask while keeping them immersed in the action. With an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone, Siri AI on Apple TV 4K can now tap into a user’s personal context to answer requests like “Play the show Alinda recommended.”

A Fully Hands-Free Experience with Far-Field Microphones

The new Apple TV 4K features three far-field microphones, letting users control what they’re watching and discover new shows completely hands-free. Advanced echo cancellation intelligently isolates a user’s voice from background sound to deliver crystal-clear “Hey Siri” or “Siri” recognition, even while audio is playing.

Faster Performance, Smarter Remote

The A19 chip in the new Apple TV 4K delivers up to 50 percent faster CPU performance and up to 2x faster GPU performance than the previous generation, for greater responsiveness, faster navigation, and smoother animations. The A19 chip also includes a new, dedicated AV1 decoder, enabling more efficient, high-quality streaming while using less bandwidth.

The new Siri Remote keeps its familiar design while adding Find My support with Precision Finding and an option to play a sound on the remote — making it far easier to locate.4

Apple’s Most Immersive Home Theater Ever

Pairing HomePod with Apple TV 4K already offers users an immersive viewing experience that’s easy to set up, and the new Apple TV 4K takes it even further. For the first time, users can create a four-speaker surround sound experience with Apple TV 4K (4th generation) and HomePod mini 2. The four speakers work together with Apple TV 4K to intelligently recognize their position in the room so audio timing and levels are automatically calibrated to the space. HomePod (2nd generation) can also be used in this four-speaker setup for the ultimate audio experience, as long as the front and rear speaker pairs match.5

An Even Smarter Home Hub

The new Apple TV 4K continues to serve as a powerful home hub, giving users control of their smart home accessories from anywhere.6 With a compatible doorbell, notifications appear directly on the TV so users can see who’s at the door, speak with them, and control other accessories like unlocking the door — all without interrupting what they’re watching. Apple TV 4K supports automations, guest mode, and secure local processing of HomeKit Secure Video, now enhanced with Apple Intelligence-generated camera activity video descriptions and summarized notifications. Users can also use Siri AI to control smart home accessories and turn scenes on or off hands-free. And with built-in Wi-Fi and Thread, Apple TV 4K can seamlessly connect and control a user’s smart home.

More Ways to Enjoy the Living Room

Apple TV 4K is more than just a way to watch — it’s a home essential that transforms the living room to reflect what users want in the moment. With Apple Fitness+, the living room becomes a workout studio, while Apple Arcade and the App Store’s library of games turn it into a home arcade. With the Apple TV app, users can stream hundreds of Apple Originals, including thrilling dramas, epic sci-fi, and feel-good comedies, as well as live sports such as Formula 1® in the U.S., Major League Soccer, and Friday Night Baseball.7 Users can also make FaceTime calls with Continuity Camera, view photos, and do even more, all from the big screen.8 With an iPhone or iPad, users can now customize how their iCloud photos appear on Apple TV, making it easy to set up personalized Memories & Slideshows or Portraits screen savers without making their entire library visible. Plus, a new screen saver shuffle feature automatically rotates between categories so there is always something new to see.

Private and Secure by Design

Like every Apple product, Apple TV 4K is designed with privacy and security in mind. Apple TV 4K and the A19 chip include Secure Exclaves: protected and compartmentalized runtimes used to process microphone data separately from the rest of the system. Isolation features added across many core components of the silicon work in tandem to protect Secure Exclaves and keep them segregated from the rest of the system. Data that is processed and analyzed in the Secure Exclaves cannot be accessed by tvOS, apps, the user, or Apple.

Siri AI takes full advantage of the bold new architecture for Apple Intelligence. Siri requests on Apple TV 4K can use on-device processing or Private Cloud Compute, which extends the privacy of the device to the cloud. When processed in Private Cloud Compute, data is neither stored nor made accessible to Apple or anyone else. HomeKit Secure Video footage is stored end-to-end encrypted and never accessible to Apple.

Apple TV 4K and the Environment

Apple TV 4K was built with the environment in mind and drives progress toward Apple’s ambitious plan to be carbon neutral across its entire footprint by 2030. Apple TV 4K features 100 percent recycled gold plating and tin solder in all Apple-designed printed circuit boards, and 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets. The thermal module is made with 80 percent recycled aluminum, while the enclosure of the Siri Remote includes 100 percent recycled aluminum. Apple TV 4K meets Apple’s high standards for energy efficiency and safe chemistry. As with all Apple products, its paper packaging is 100 percent fiber-based9 and designed to be recycled.

Meet Apple HomeView, a new way to enjoy entertainment, stay connected, and manage the home

Apple HomeView is powered by Apple Intelligence with Siri AI and built with privacy and security at its core

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA Apple today introduced Apple HomeView, designed to be central to the home and personal to everyone in it. With a stunning 7-inch Liquid Retina display, HomeView brings entertainment, connection, and smart home management together in one place, from playing music and making FaceTime calls to home monitoring and hands-free automations with voice control — all designed with privacy and security at the core.1 HomeView recognizes users by their faces, adapting so they can access their personal content in Messages, FaceTime, Calendar, Reminders, and Find My. HomeView features Siri AI, an entirely new version of Siri that’s profoundly more capable and conversational, with broad world knowledge that powers richer music discovery and onscreen awareness. When paired with an Apple Intelligence-enabled device, it can also draw on a user’s personal context, such as their Calendar, Messages, and relevant information across their apps, to provide more helpful, personalized responses.2

Designed to fit in any space, HomeView can be placed on a tabletop as the center of the home or wall-mounted to fit in spaces like the entryway or hallway. Pre-orders start today, with availability beginning November 13.

“Apple HomeView is designed to be shared by everyone in the home yet feel completely personal to each user,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “It recognizes your face to shift from a household screen to your own experience, fills the room with incredible sound, keeps you connected to the people who matter most with FaceTime, and makes it easy to control your smart home. And it’s powered by Apple Intelligence with Siri AI at its core, drawing on personal context from your iPhone to help you find what you need and get more done, all while keeping everyone’s information private and secure.”

Elegantly Designed for Any Space

HomeView features a beautiful aluminum design with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display connected to a domed speaker base by a stainless steel hinge that provides a smooth tilt for comfortable viewing on tabletops of any height. The perfect addition to a kitchen counter, nightstand, or side table, HomeView comes in four beautiful colors — silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray — each finished with a matching cable.

The elegant design and Liquid Retina display seamlessly blend into any space while remaining clearly visible from across the room. It features adaptive display technologies, including True Tone, that react to changing light throughout the day. Automatic brightness adjusts from 500 nits — bright enough to stay vivid and easy to see even in a sunlit room — down to just 0.3 nits, making it ideal for the nightstand. The HomeView interface intelligently adjusts based on the user’s distance, showing simpler information that’s viewable from across the room and richer detail as they step closer.

A separate wall-mounted HomeView model — available in space gray and silver — offers the same 7-inch Liquid Retina display, powerful set of features, and rich audio. It can be attached to a wall using three purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home, with options for self-installation or professional installation.

A Personalized Experience for Each User in the Home

HomeView recognizes up to six people and delivers a personalized experience for each one. Each user gets their own personalized Home Screen with apps and widgets. Personal content stays private from others, while shared photo albums and music can be easily enjoyed by everyone in a household, including guests.

Featuring Siri AI, Powered by Apple Intelligence

HomeView features Siri AI, an entirely new version of Siri powered by the next generation of Apple Intelligence and advanced Apple silicon. Siri AI is a profoundly more capable and conversational assistant with personal context understanding and onscreen awareness. With broad world knowledge, anyone in the home can ask Siri about virtually any topic and get an answer.

With an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad, Siri AI does more for each person — taking action across apps and surfacing relevant information from Messages and Calendar, playlists on Apple Music, and more by drawing on their personal context. Users have the ability to customize the expressiveness and pace of Siri’s voice on their paired and compatible device so that it’s just right for them. That customization carries over to HomeView, allowing users to go back and forth with Siri in a conversation like never before.3 Conversations that start on HomeView seamlessly continue in the Siri app, which uses iCloud to privately sync history across a user’s products, so they can pick up the conversation on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, or Apple Vision Pro.

With Siri AI built into HomeView, even users without an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad will benefit from Siri AI’s broad world knowledge; ability to have rich, natural conversations; and improved music discovery.

With powerful new features and unrivaled privacy protections, Siri remains the world’s most private digital assistant.

Faces for Every Style

Users can personalize HomeView with a collection of playful and informative faces that display information at a glance, taking full advantage of the vibrant Liquid Retina display. The Photos face brings cherished memories to life with stunning Portrait-style depth effects that keep the subject sharp while creating a beautifully blurred foreground and background. By selecting a shared album, users can turn HomeView into a living photo frame that loved ones near and far can help fill. The Flow face dynamically responds to physical presence and movement, transforming HomeView into a piece of interactive art. And even Snoopy comes to life on HomeView, with animations that reflect the time of day, the weather, sporting events, and holiday moments.

Rich Entertainment Anywhere in the Home

HomeView offers an exceptional listening experience through a custom-engineered acoustic system. Two custom full-range drivers in the display keep everything sounding crisp and clean while delivering room-filling Spatial Audio. A down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators are built into the base, offering incredible bass extension. Powered by Apple silicon and real-time system sensors, advanced computational audio continuously optimizes loudness and bass response at any volume. The wall-mounted version delivers rich sound with two custom drivers and computational audio tuned specifically for on-wall placement.

HomeView is the perfect way to enjoy Apple Music, complete with animated album art and lyrics, as well as Apple Podcasts, Apple News,4 Apple TV, and compatible third-party audio and video apps.5 With Handoff, users can continue listening to a song they were playing in the car or on a walk by placing their iPhone in front of the HomeView display. By setting up multiple HomeView, HomePod, HomePod mini, and AirPlay-compatible speakers around the house, users can enjoy music throughout the entire home with multiroom audio.

Connecting Users to What Matters Most

HomeView makes it effortless for users to stay in touch and get things done around the house. FaceTime and Center Stage keep everyone framed perfectly, even when participants are moving around the room.6 Messages can be read and answered by voice or with the onscreen keyboard. Intercom lets users broadcast a quick message to a single room or the whole house — reaching other HomeView and HomePod speakers, as well as personal devices like iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch. In the kitchen, HomeView is the perfect sous chef, converting recipes from the web into step-by-step instructions with hands-free timer control and help with ingredient tracking, so users can stay focused on what’s cooking.

With Find My, users can check in on loved ones who have shared their locations with them, or track down a misplaced iPhone, AirPods charging case, or personal item with an AirTag attached. And with Live Activities, HomeView surfaces timely, at-a-glance information, like the song that’s currently playing, an active timer, or an incoming Intercom message from another room.

The Ultimate Smart Home Dashboard

HomeView allows users to securely control their smart home by touch or with just their voice using Siri AI — viewing camera feeds, adjusting the thermostat and lights, locking doors, or closing the blinds. The Home Modular face offers instant access to users’ favorite accessories, while the Home Camera face can livestream up to nine video feeds at once, letting users keep an eye on doorstep deliveries and pets playing in the yard.

With a supported iCloud+ subscription, HomeView works with compatible cameras to deliver intelligent, end-to-end encrypted recognition of people, familiar faces, pets, packages, and vehicles, notifying the household the moment someone arrives at the front door. With video descriptions for HomeKit Secure Video footage, HomeView helps users quickly understand what happened in a video clip without even watching it.7 Offering added peace of mind, HomeView also detects the sound of smoke or carbon monoxide alarms and alerts users on their iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.

HomeView also works with Apple Home Collection — a new lineup of smart home cameras, thermostats, and a lock designed in collaboration with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric — as well as other Works with Apple Home and Matter accessories.

Bünyamin Aydın’s new collection, “From Earth to Sky,” soars with iPad Pro

The Les Benjamins designer brought together Turkish heritage, 1970s rock ’n’ roll influences, and futurism for a landmark fashion show in Cappadocia shot on iPhone 18 Pro Max

Long before the sun rises in Cappadocia, Türkiye’s Rose Valley is already awake. Crews are on the move, models refresh their makeup, and three giant hot-air balloons — neon green, yellow, and pink — float above a landscape that looks like it belongs on Mars.

The scene is set for Les Benjamins designer Bünyamin Aydın’s most ambitious project yet. “From Earth to Sky” celebrates 15 years of the Istanbul-based lifestyle brand and brings together Anatolian heritage, avant-garde design, and the magic of iPad Pro with Apple Pencil Pro. Shot on iPhone 18 Pro Max by French filmmaker Neels Castillon, this fashion show is like no other.

The project began to take shape during a research trip to Cappadocia in early 2026. Aydın used iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro, alongside iPhone 17 Pro Max to record the extraordinary terrain, shooting photographs and 4K video at 60 fps.

Aydın’s creative process seldom takes place behind a desk, so he appreciates the flexibility iPad Pro offers with its thin, light form factor and battery life that can last him up to two days. “It’s the ultimate workstation on the go,” Aydın says. “That gives me freedom.”

Three native flowers he encountered in the region — spiky green Echinops, flutelike pink trumpets, and wild yellow tulips — became the heart of this latest collection, inspiring 10 striking looks and three custom-built hot-air balloons.

For Aydın, Les Benjamins represents the intersection of people and their cultures, and “From Earth to Sky” is no different. Born in Germany, the designer was raised with what he describes as “German discipline and Turkish heart” — a duality that runs through his work. “The canvas is the West; the paint is the East,” he says of a collection that combines contemporary silhouettes with Turkish fabrics and Silk Road influences.

iPad Pro with the powerful M5 chip became the creative nexus for the entire project. After research trips, Aydın would assemble photographs, fabric references, and early designs in the Freeform app, where evolving mood boards could be easily shared or exported to keep work ticking along. “Freeform allowed me to bring my team into my creative journey instead of simply giving them finished ideas,” he says.

The multitasking features on iPad Pro became integral as the workflows multiplied. Aydın could use its intuitive windowing system to work on an active sketch in Procreate, refer to photos from his travels, and research local flora in Safari, all while Background Tasks exported files for his collaborators.

And then there were the hot-air balloons. Working in Procreate, Aydın and his team designed a single structure as a starting point, then rapidly duplicated, altered, and redrew it until three final forms emerged from dozens of variations.

To bring the designs to life, Aydın collaborated with Pasha Balloons, one of Cappadocia’s hot-air balloon pioneers. “I would send my sketches to them, and they would use their engineering know-how to make sure they could actually fly,” he says with a smile. These technical drawings would then go straight back into Procreate for review and refinement.

Finding the right colors was vital. In addition to the electric hues of the balloons, Aydın also worked with cream, blue, and natural tones. “These are the colors of the earth and the sky,” he explains. The Ultra Retina XDR display on iPad Pro — which uses tandem OLED technology — became a key tool, while True Tone helped Aydın achieve the saturation he wanted, regardless of ambient lighting.

Apple Pencil Pro helped draw the line from idea to iterative design. “Working with regular pen and paper feels very natural, but the hover feature on Apple Pencil Pro lets me preview every stroke before I even make it, so I can see any mistakes beforehand,” he says. “It’s like a supernatural tool.”

An avid gamer, Aydın compares his relationship with Apple Pencil Pro to the muscle memory he developed while playing his favorite titles. Squeezing, double-tapping, and switching to the eraser now feel like reflexive actions, which enabled him to move quickly through variations without the tool interrupting the idea. And the low latency made the creative experience feel more immersive and responsive than ever.

“We were working on high-resolution images, creating multiple layers and playing with textures. That’s usually when things start to slow down,” he says. “But that never happened on iPad Pro. It felt just like working on a desktop.”

Back in Rose Valley, months of planning and work are finally coming to life.

Even before the sun touches the horizon, Castillon’s iPhone 18 Pro Max is already rolling. Three runways, gigantic hot-air balloons, and natural light that continues to change with every passing minute mean there is little room for error.

The new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture allows Castillon to begin filming in low light before narrowing the aperture as the sun comes up. Camera operators use Pro controls like histogram and white balance to keep the look consistent across multiple cameras as the sky changes from pink to blue.

Working with iPhone 18 Pro Max brings the immediacy Castillon loves as a director. “When I see something beautiful, I want to film it right away,” he says. The A20 Pro chip and improved thermal management also give the production the sustained performance and reliability it needs to capture heavy 4K video throughout the event.

Just as Aydın’s show travels from past to future, movement drives Castillon’s visual treatment. Custom-built drones each carry two iPhone 18 Pro Max models, with their 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide cameras focused on enhancing the sense of vertiginous speed while fitting the massive balloons into frame.

Footage captured at 4K 120 fps allows Castillon to highlight elements like rippling fabric in cinematic slow motion, while a slower shutter speed turns quick drone passes into a painterly impressionistic motion blur.

Castillon’s treatment also creates a dreamlike, psychedelic look. He uses ProRes RAW to preserve flexibility for color grading in post-production, as Cappadocia’s pale hues meet saturated pinks, yellows, and greens. “I’m a huge nerd for color, and the tones are really accurate on iPad Pro,” he says.

While his team records video, Castillon shoots stills with the 48MP Fusion Main camera, using the new texture and grain controls in Photographic Styles 3 to bring some of the tactile character he loves in analog photography into the images.

As feeds from the whirling drones come into Castillon’s production control center, synchronizing them begins right there on location. He reviews footage and makes selections on MacBook Pro with M4 Max; its nano-texture display helps reduce glare from the sun overhead.

With the performance in full swing, Castillon’s focus switches from crane to drone to capture the opening look: a Turkish caftan and a tree branch representing Anatolia, an homage to Turkish rock icon Barış Manço. The show’s scale is huge, but Aydın believes its potential is larger still.

For him, “From Earth to Sky” is a chance to bring Turkish culture to a global audience without losing sight of its roots. “I see my role as that of a translator and a bridge between East and West,” Aydın says. “I hope this project makes Turkish people proud.”

“From Earth to Sky” was shot on iPhone 18 Pro Max. Check it out on @apple beginning October 14.

Beginning Friday, October 16, at 5 a.m. PT, customers can pre-order iPhone Duo on apple.com and in the Apple Store app.

iPhone Duo delivers Apple’s largest iPhone display ever in a foldable design. Opened, it is the thinnest iPhone ever, with an inner display that is 50 percent larger than the display on iPhone 18 Pro Max — providing a large canvas for viewing content, gaming, and multitasking. Closed, the 5.4-inch outer display delivers 90 percent of the screen area of iPhone 18 Pro in a compact, pocketable design.1 iPhone Duo is also built to last and features a precision-engineered hinge that offers a smooth, satisfying feel with every use. Powered by A20 Pro, iPhone Duo delivers pro performance along with a dual-battery architecture for impressive all-day battery life. iOS 27 is reimagined, remaining familiar and intuitive while adapting to the versatile ways users can interact with iPhone Duo. And with Siri AI,2 powered by Apple Intelligence,3 iPhone Duo also brings powerful AI capabilities together with a user’s personal context to become an intelligent personal hub with privacy and security at its core.

Customers shopping in-store or online for iPhone Duo can connect with Apple Specialists for personalized support and get assistance with ways to save and pay, including leasing with Apple Upgrade,4 financing options, and carrier deals, as well as learn how to protect their products with AppleCare+ or AppleCare One. Customers can also take advantage of convenient home delivery or arrange for pickup at their local Apple Store at a time most suitable for them.

Explore iPhone Duo

iPhone Duo features an advanced camera system that enables all-new experiences made possible by its breakthrough design. The 48MP Fusion Main camera shoots sharp photos with zero shutter lag, and users can get closer to the subject with an integrated optical-quality 2x Telephoto. The 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera captures wider fields of view and enables macro photography, while the Center Stage front camera can automatically take photos and videos in any orientation, so users don’t have to rotate iPhone for landscape selfies. A new FaceTime camera placed underneath the inner display helps users connect with friends and family, whether iPhone Duo is held open or propped on a surface for hands-free calls.

The expansive display on iPhone Duo supercharges productivity with Split View multitasking and seamless app switching, and a reimagined yet familiar iOS experience introduces entirely new ways to interact with iPhone. iOS also adapts to content on iPhone Duo by reacting as it folds, reorienting when turned to the side, and switching to the appropriate display when flipped over. iPhone Duo can also enter StandBy on either the outer or inner display — even when it’s not charging — turning the device into a photo frame, a hub for widgets, a clock, and more.

Siri AI is an entirely new version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence — profoundly more personal, capable, and conversational, with personal context understanding, broad world knowledge, and onscreen awareness to help users find what they need and get things done. Rolling out in beta in English with iOS 27, Siri AI is even more useful on the large inner display, where iPhone Duo users can keep Siri open alongside an app and ask about what’s onscreen. And with Siri mode in Camera, users can get information and take action on what’s in front of them.

iPhone Duo is splash-, water-, and dust-resistant with an IP68 rating,8 and is available in two refined colors: star white and night sky.
