Under the state's NC Innovations Waiver, eligible families in Alliance Health's seven-county region can now request Floreo's virtual reality therapy platform through their care manager.

CHEVY CHASE, Md., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- North Carolina has approved Medicaid Waiver reimbursement for virtual reality (VR) services delivered by Floreo – the pioneering developer of VR-based therapy – for neurodivergent youth and adults supported by the NC Innovations Waiver.

The state's NC Innovations Waiver covers a wide range of home and community-based supports for individuals with intellectual or development disabilities— from help with daily living activities and job coaching to assistive technology and caregiver support. The NC Innovations waiver is an NC Medicaid program that "waives" (does not consider) some of the usual Medicaid eligibility requirements, like the family's income. Any North Carolinian with autism or other intellectual and development disabilities can apply regardless of age or insurance status.

"North Carolina has shown a real commitment to practical, access-oriented support for the neurodivergent community, and this expansion of the NC Innovations Waiver is a great example," said Vijay Ravindran, CEO and founder of Floreo. "As a result, many neurodivergent individuals across the state will now have a new, tangible way to build the confidence and independence they need for everyday life."

Floreo's approval as a vendor applies to the seven counties managed by Alliance Health: Cumberland, Durham, Harnett, Johnston, Mecklenburg, Orange, and Wake, the state's most populous county. North Carolina families in this region who are eligible for the NC Innovations Waiver can now request reimbursement for Floreo's VR therapy platform directly through their Care Manager.

Floreo helps neurodivergent youth and adults build social, behavioral, and daily life skills by practicing real-world scenarios — like navigating public transportation, interacting with law enforcement, multi-tasking at work, or raising a hand to answer a question in the classroom — in a safe, immersive virtual environment. North Carolina joins a growing list of states that provide Medicaid waiver reimbursement for Floreo's services, including Tennessee, New York, and Wisconsin.

As the first VR autism technology to receive the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) breakthrough device designation, Floreo is backed by a growing body of research conducted with world-renowned programs like the Center for Autism Research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the National Institutes of Health. Floreo's VR curriculum augments traditional therapies and improves outcomes for neurodivergent individuals and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Families and care providers in the Alliance Health region interested in incorporating Floreo into a support plan should contact their care manager to learn more.

New Direct-to-Consumer OTT Service: New Zealand-based Pacific Cooperation Broadcasting Limited (PCBL), operator of Pasifika TV, has selected Eluvio for a new direct-to-consumer streaming service scheduled to launch later this year

A Platform with Purpose: Focusing on Pacific media sustainability and story sovereignty, content will come from the consortium of 30+ Pacific broadcasters and local content creators, backed by a revenue-share model that returns value directly to the region's media ecosystem

Built on Eluvio's Global Broadcast Fabric: New service to provide live and VOD distribution, monetization, and frame-accurate inline AI without file duplication or use of legacy media clouds and CDNs

BERKELEY, Calif., Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ahead of IBC Show 2026, Eluvio today announced that it was selected to power Pasifika+, a new direct-to-consumer streaming service for Pacific Cooperation Broadcasting Limited (PCBL), that will extend the collective reach of Pasifika TV and its media partners to Pacific Island communities and fans across the globe. Eluvio's Content Fabric will provide Pasifika+ with a unified zero-copy platform for broadcast, streaming and AI video intelligence from a single ingest workflow, without creating file copies at any stage, and superseding the use of legacy media clouds or CDNs. Specific details about pricing and availability of Pasifika+ will be made by PCBL later this year.

Eluvio to Power Pasifika+:

Formed to strengthen partnerships between New Zealand and the Pacific Islands through television broadcasting, PCBL delivers Pasifika TV to a growing collective of more than 30 free-to-air broadcast partners across the Pacific. Pasifika+ will extend that mission via a direct-to-consumer streaming service globally for the first time. Pasifika+ aims to connect diaspora audiences in New Zealand, Australia, the U.S., and elsewhere back to their home islands, preserve and share Pacific culture, sport, news, and original entertainment, and provide the region's broadcasters and content creators a new, equitable revenue stream.

"Pasifika+ is a platform with purpose — it's about giving every fan of Pacific content, especially our diaspora, access to the unique stories, news, and entertainment to stay connected to home, while opening a new, equitable revenue stream back to the 30+ broadcasters and local content creators who make our stories possible. Beyond entertainment value, Pasifika+ will provide our regional media partners with a powerful new way to advocate for self-determination, sovereignty, and government accountability, while educating the rest of the world about the beauty of and issues facing Pacific island nations," said Natasha Meleisea, Chief Executive Officer, PCBL. "Therefore, after evaluating numerous alternatives, we selected Eluvio because they aligned with our aspirations, had the most cost-effective, easy-to-use, and technologically advanced platform to securely scale into a global operation, while providing us a level of monetization and viewer insights never before possible. We look forward to partnering with Eluvio to launch Pasifika+ in the months ahead."

"PCBL is a mission-driven organization with the trust of Pacific broadcasters, regional production companies, and content creators, and we're honored that the Eluvio Content Fabric, serving as a Global Broadcast Fabric, will enable them to distribute and monetize their exceptional regional news, sports, documentaries, and entertainment globally for the first time," said Michelle Munson, CEO and Co-founder, Eluvio. "In addition to traditional live and VOD programming, Pasifika+ will also deploy our Inline AI services to expand their content pipeline, using Eluvio's AI-enabled analysis, clipping, search, and content composition, to scale efficiently from day one without requiring additional original production. For an organization carrying this much cultural and economic responsibility, having zero-copy distribution, monetization, and AI unified on a single platform isn't just efficient, it gives PCBL the freedom to focus on their audiences and creators well into the future."

A Unified Platform for Streaming and AI Video Intelligence

Eluvio's Content Fabric receives live or VOD source feeds and dynamically ingests, transcodes, publishes and generates just-in-time streaming output directly to viewers. Streaming is provided at full source resolution, including HD and 4K, with dynamic automatic adaptation to the user's available bandwidth with low latency HLS/DASH delivery, unlimited multi-view, and "zero-copy" live-to-VoD and fast DVR playback. Pasifika TV will provide a white-label browser, mobile, and connected TV application to its viewers built using the Eluvio Media Wallet platform (full turnkey OTT Suite). The platform also provides subscriptions, pay-per-view, and/or ad-supported monetization, while providing end-to-end content security and anti-piracy protection including strong encryption, DRM, forensic watermarking, and dynamic authorization per-offering including geo blocking and rights control. All features are built-in allowing for a hyper-efficient, tamper-proof distribution, fast and easy purchasing, and on-screen authenticity proofs for the viewer.

In addition, the Eluvio Video Intelligence Editor (EVIE) and AI-assisted tools provide frame-accurate, in-line analysis, indexing, and search, composition, and transformation such as live vertical video, all without file copies or re-transcoding. Finally, Eluvio Content Analytics provides complete transparency of source-to-viewer audience, QoS, and sales analytics. The deal, made possible by strengthening relations between Venezuela and the United States, is expected to involve nearly $100 billion in investment to commercialize more than 65 billion barrels of P1 reserves in Venezuela.

CARACAS, Venezuela, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States Departments of State and War have reached an historic deal with North American Blue Energy Partners (NABEP) to significantly expand oil production in Venezuela. As part of the deal, NABEP will have operating control of the business, with the United States Government holding rights to a 35% stake in the company, alongside preferential access to 20% of the company's production at cost.

President Donald J. Trump announced the agreement on Truth Social as "the biggest oil deal in world history" and is demonstrative of the U.S. and Venezuelan governments deepening collaboration in the Venezuelan oil sector, bringing jobs and fiscal stability for Venezuelans and lower prices at the pump for Americans.

"Venezuela is blessed with an abundance of natural resources, hardworking people and untapped potential," said Alejandro Betancourt, CEO of NABEP. "This transaction will unleash that potential to the great benefit of both Venezuelans and Americans. We are grateful to President Donald J. Trump, Secretary Marco Rubio, Secretary Pete Hegseth, the United States Government, and to President Delcy Rodríguez and the Government of Venezuela, for their confidence in NABEP and their willingness to tackle this challenge with us. We look forward to pioneering a new and exciting path together."

This new venture is expected to bring tens of millions of additional barrels of Venezuelan oil to the global marketplace, thousands of well-paid jobs to Venezuela, and billions in incremental investment and broader economic activity to drive growth in Venezuela's recovering economy. Through the right to purchase 20% of the oil produced at cost, this venture will also ultimately deliver billions in savings for American consumers and secure a stable and growing strategic supply of oil in the Western Hemisphere. Through billions in purchases of oil infrastructure and equipment from U.S. suppliers, NABEP will also support thousands of manufacturing jobs in the United States.

Mr. Betancourt has been in the Venezuelan oil industry for more than 15 years with a consistent track record of success, most recently at the helm of NABEP, where he rapidly scaled the company's production from approximately 18,000 barrels per day to more than 200,000 barrels per day through roughly $1 billion in company-funded investment, making it the country's second-largest oil producer in just two years' time. Today, the company directly employs over 5,000 people and supports over 10,000 contractor employees across Venezuela.

Following these transactions, NABEP now controls the rights to commercialize more than 65 billion barrels of P1 reserves in Venezuela. NABEP is seeking to rapidly expand its operations in Lake Maracaibo and the Orinoco Belt with the near-term goal of increasing production to more than 1 million barrels of oil per day.

As it was announced, the program will involve nearly $100 billion in investment to increase production capacity and oil and gas infrastructure in Venezuela and will generate more than $209 billion in tax revenue for the Venezuelan state.

In a statement posted to X immediately following the announcement, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said: "This deal is a huge win for both the American and Venezuelan people. It demonstrates how President Trump's bold foreign policy is driving America First wins: securing stable reserves and low-cost oil in our Hemisphere and lowering gas prices here at home. For the Venezuelan people, this deal will bring nearly $100 billion in private investment, support thousands of high-paying jobs, and drive the reconstruction of Venezuela's economy."

UPPSALA, Sweden, Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Orexo AB (publ) (STO: ORX) (OTCQX: ORXOY) today announced that the company has reached a non-binding agreement in principle on the main elements of a settlement with the US Department of Justice (DOJ). Orexo is in the last stages of concluding the final settlement agreement, which would close a DOJ investigation that has been ongoing since 2020. There can be no assurance that a final settlement will be entered into on the terms in this press release.

Under the agreement in principle, the company would agree to pay USD 4 million in installments over several years. The company would also agree to a capped contingent payment based on five percent of net sales conditioned on certain sales related threshold being met in 2030-2031, at a level where Orexo's commercial products are successful in the market. The final details of the settlement agreement will be disclosed in the event that a final settlement agreement is entered into with the DOJ.

The company's settlement would take the form of a Non-Prosecution Agreement (NPA) and a separate civil settlement. There would be no admission of wrongdoing by Orexo or any of its current or former employees. Once finalized, the NPA and civil settlement would resolve the DOJ investigation with respect to the matters covered by the agreements and there would be no more exposure for Orexo as a result of the investigation.

Orexo also understands that two former Orexo US employees have reached agreements in principle with the DOJ to resolve civil claims. The company intends to seek insurance coverage for the full settlement amount for the former employees.

"The investigation by the Department of Justice has been on-going for more than 6 years. I am pleased that we are close to concluding the investigation. The decision to pursue a settlement is not an admission of any wrongdoing, but is based on the significant costs of a continued process and the need to focus on the continued development of Orexo and its important research," Nikolaj Sørensen, President and CEO of Orexo AB.

As a result of the progress with the US Department of Justice, Orexo is expected to recognise a provision for the expected liability of USD 4 million. Further information on the financial effects will be disclosed separately when a final settlement agreement is entered into with the DOJ.

UPPSALA, Sweden, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Orexo AB (publ) (STO: ORX) (OTCQX: ORXOY) today announced that the company has reached a non-binding agreement in principle on the main elements of a settlement with the US Department of Justice (DOJ).

SECOND QUARTER 2026 FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Hydreight's second-quarter revenue growth was primarily driven by continued scaling of the VSDHOne platform and related order flow, together with organic growth in new business partners, renewals from existing partners and additions to service offerings.

Pharmacy product sales increased to approximately $26.2 million during Q2 2026, compared with $4.5 million during Q2 2025.

The Company's virtual healthcare/direct-to-consumer segment generated approximately $22.8 million of revenue during Q2 2026, compared with approximately $0.7 million in Q2 2025. For the first six months of 2026, the segment generated approximately $42.7 million, compared with approximately $1.0 million during the corresponding period in 2025.

The Company's Q2 gross-margin percentage remained below the prior-year period primarily due to the significant increase in pharmacy sales as a percentage of total revenue and pricing concessions associated with initial transactions under several new supporting partnerships with compounding pharmacies. Hydreight generally aims to earn approximately a 20% margin on pharmacy sales before discounts and incentives, although individual product margins vary by product type, manufacturer and the timing of promotions.

Shane Madden, Chief Executive Officer of Hydreight, commented:

"Q2 was another record revenue quarter for Hydreight, with revenue reaching approximately $28.0 million compared with $5.4 million in the same period last year.

What I believe is equally important is what is happening underneath that growth. Compared with Q1, revenue increased approximately 12.5%, while gross profit increased approximately 7.0%, with net income and Adjusted EBITDA remaining relatively consistent with Q1 levels. We believe this combination of continued top-line growth and sustained profitability demonstrates the strength of the platform as we continue scaling the infrastructure we have spent years building.

Through the first six months of 2026, Hydreight generated approximately $53.0 million in revenue and $5.1 million in net income. VSDHOne and our virtual healthcare infrastructure have become significant contributors to our business, while we continue investing in the technology, pharmacy relationships, provider infrastructure and compliance capabilities needed to support additional scale.

We remain focused on execution. Our priorities for the remainder of 2026 are to continue increasing utilization across the platform, expand our partner and product ecosystem, invest in VSDHOne 2.0 and related technology, and continue building the infrastructure required to support the next stage of Hydreight's growth."

PLATFORM SCALE AND VSDHONE

Hydreight's growth continues to be supported by the expansion of its healthcare infrastructure across three principal verticals: mobile medical services, physical healthcare locations and virtual healthcare/direct-to-consumer services through VSDHOne.

During the six months ended June 30, 2026, the Company's virtual healthcare/direct-to-consumer segment generated approximately $42.7 million in revenue, compared with approximately $1.0 million in the corresponding period in 2025.

Hydreight continues to invest in VSDHOne 2.0, which is designed to enhance the Company's technology infrastructure to support scalability, security and long-term growth. During the first six months of 2026, the Company added approximately $0.8 million of development investment to VSDHOne 2.0.

The Company's broader infrastructure spans all 50 U.S. states and includes a network of more than 3,000 nurses, more than 300 independent doctors and pharmacy relationships supporting its healthcare ecosystem.

BALANCE SHEET AND GROWTH CAPITAL

Hydreight ended Q2 2026 with approximately $20.0 million in cash and $35.0 million in working capital, compared with $15.6 million in cash and $15.7 million in working capital at December 31, 2025.

During the first six months of 2026, Hydreight used approximately $8.7 million of cash in operating activities, primarily reflecting increased working capital deployed as the Company continued to scale its pharmacy operations and support new product and treatment lines.

Hydreight and its subsidiaries work with and support compounding pharmacies, both directly and indirectly, by providing funding and/or medical, formulation and structural support to establish new product and treatment lines. This enables greater control over pricing while helping ensure the appropriate inventory, operational, regulatory and compliance structures are in place.

This investment in working capital occurred alongside substantial growth in the Company's pharmacy operations. Pharmacy product sales increased to approximately $26.2 million in Q2 2026, compared with approximately $4.5 million in Q2 2025.

At June 30, 2026, Hydreight maintained approximately $20.0 million in cash and $35.0 million in working capital, providing the Company with financial resources to continue supporting its existing operations and strategic growth initiatives.

2026 OUTLOOK

Hydreight is reaffirming its previously announced fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of approximately $150 million, based on management's current internal planning assumptions.

The Company's previously issued guidance is based on expectations regarding partner activity, transaction volumes, service mix, capacity utilization across pharmacy operations and general market conditions. Actual results may differ materially, and the guidance remains subject to the assumptions and risks described under "Cautionary Note Regarding Forward-Looking Information."

Management continues to focus on increasing platform utilization, expanding strategic healthcare partnerships, scaling VSDHOne and related offerings, investing in technology and healthcare infrastructure, and supporting continued expansion across Hydreight's U.S. healthcare ecosystem.

Use of Non-GAAP Financial Measures

The Company uses certain non-GAAP financial measures to assess its operating performance, and this press release contains non-GAAP financial measures, including "Adjusted Revenue" and "Adjusted EBITDA". These measures are not recognized under International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS") and do not have standardized meanings prescribed by IFRS or GAAP.

The Company defines Adjusted Revenue as gross cash income before adjustment for the deferred portion of business partner contract revenue and gross receipts from Hydreight App service sales. The Company defines Adjusted Gross Margin as GAAP gross margin plus inventory impairment plus the deferred portion of business partner contract revenue. The Company defines Adjusted EBITDA as net income (loss) before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization and before (i) transaction, restructuring and integration costs, (ii) share-based payments expense, (iii) gains/losses that are not reflective of ongoing operating performance, including inventory impairment, and (iv) sales tax provision, net of actual cash payments to state tax authorities.

Adjusted Revenue reflects the gross economic activity processed through the Company's platform during the applicable period and may differ materially from revenue recognized under IFRS, which is based on revenue recognition and deferral requirements. Adjusted Revenue is not a measure of financial performance or profitability and should not be considered a substitute for revenue determined in accordance with IFRS.

TARGET claims rack heat density 'tripled' to 60-100 kW, but SOURCE states it rose from 15-20 kW to 60-100 kW, which is a 4-5x increase, not 3x. This is a factual error not supported by the source.
