- The NASA‑IBM Lunar Foundation Model turns decades of lunar observations into a foundation for discovery, helping scientists surface patterns across data at a scale no single instrument has provided

- The model exceeds widely used methods by up to 23% in identifying key geographic features on the Moon's surface, including potential ice deposits, craters and volcanic formations, to support a sustained return to the Moon

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- IBM (NYSE: IBM) and NASA today announced the open-source release of the NASA‑IBM Lunar Foundation Model, one of the first publicly available foundation models for scientific exploration of the Moon, now available. Trained on an extensive lunar observation dataset curated by IBM and NASA researchers, the model can help scientists turn decades of complex, multi-instrument data into insights to support the establishment of a sustained human presence on the Moon.

The Moon's topography is ever-changing. Over time, the Moon's surface has formed craters, distributed ice and even experienced volcanic activity. For decades, sensors and instruments have continuously observed the Moon, generating petabytes of data, but to study the Moon's surface, scientists need to either sift through maps and images by hand or use low resolution, task specific machine learning models. These methods can be computationally intensive and can lack the degree of scientific accuracy needed to identify and analyze geographic features. The newly released NASA-IBM Lunar Foundation Model will help researchers accelerate scientific progress by identifying hidden relationships between many different types and resolutions of lunar data.

Researchers could use the NASA-IBM Lunar Foundation Model to investigate multiple lunar phenomena, including:

- Potential Lunar Ice Deposits: Permanently shadowed regions are among the Moon's most difficult environments to observe, yet they may contain lunar ice below the surface. Lunar ice indicates the presence of water and oxygen — resources considered essential for a future Moon base and producing rocket fuel for future missions to Mars. The NASA-IBM model combines multimodal and multi-resolution observations to predict where ice may be present on the lunar surface. A NASA-IBM authored technical paper shows that the NASA-IBM model reduced error (RMSE) in identifying areas with high potential for lunar ice up to 22% compared to the SwinV2-B (ImageNet) model.1

- Volcanic History: Scientists study lunar volcanic features, called Irregular Mare Patches, to better understand the Moon's volcanic history and thermal evolution. In addition, identifying these changing regions is strategic for future surface operations. Using imperfect labels, the model better captures the extent of the volcanic features than the SwinV2-B (ImageNet model by 3%, bringing comparable accuracy with greater efficiency and lower fine-tuning costs.2

- Crater Detection: Craters are one of the most important and distinguishing features of the Moon and can reveal important clues about its history, such as the age of different terrains, their geology, and the chemical composition of the early lunar interior. Crater mapping also helps NASA select safe landing sites, avoid hazards such as steep slopes and boulders, and plan locations for long-term lunar infrastructure. With the model, researchers can now identify, contextualize, and classify craters at meter-scale resolution with the cited paper showing comparable accuracy as state-of-the-art models like SwinV2-B while offering greater efficiency and lower fine-tuning costs. At context-scale resolution (~100 meters), it outperforms SwinV2-B by nearly 19% using just half the training data.3

"NASA has spent decades building an extraordinary scientific record of the Moon, but collecting data is only part of the job," said Kevin Murphy, chief science data officer and acting chief data and AI officer at NASA Headquarters in Washington. "We also have to make data easier for scientists to explore and use. The NASA-IBM Lunar Foundation Model shows what's possible when we bring AI to NASA's petabytes of scientific data. That's a real opportunity we see with AI: turning large-scale data into new discoveries."

"Uncovering the mysteries of the Moon requires an ability to learn from an extraordinary volume of scientific data," said Juan Bernabe-Moreno, Director of IBM Research Europe, UK and Ireland. "The NASA-IBM Lunar Foundation Model gives scientists a foundation to explore the Moon at scale, connecting observations across instruments, revealing patterns that are difficult to see in isolation, and providing an open platform the global research community can build on."

Despite the wealth of lunar data, no publicly available, unified dataset exists that brings the multi-modal, multi-resolution data into a common framework suitable for modern machine learning. Alongside the model, IBM and NASA scientists built the first open-source lunar dataset of its kind, a unified, machine learning ready lunar dataset aggregating over 30 spatially-aligned layers from nine instruments across four missions. The dataset combines tens of thousands of images and maps showing unique geophysical properties of the lunar surface from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) and NASA's GRAIL mission and incorporated complementary lunar data from the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency's SELENE/Kaguya for a rich, multi-modal view of the lunar surface and subsurface available for the lunar science community to build on.

The model extends an established IBM and NASA collaboration that transforms valuable scientific data into an openly available foundation for discovery for the entire scientific community. By open sourcing the model, scientists and researchers have access to cutting edge AI systems to accelerate progress in lunar exploration. It joins the Prithvi family of open foundation models, spanning geospatial, weather, heliophysics and now the Moon. Together, these models advance a broader vision: instead of building a new algorithmic system for every scientific question, researchers can start from a shared model and adapt it to new tasks to accelerate discovery across domains.

Key Takeaways:

- Premium Proteins: Omaha Steaks is sharpening its focus across steak, chicken, seafood and pork – and continuing its commitment to 100% U.S.-sourced beef while simplifying the customer experience.

- Faster Delivery: Omaha Steaks is expanding its footprint to enable same-day and next-day deliveries – accelerating its retail and fulfillment expansion and using stores as both customer destinations and local fulfillment hubs.

- No Bull Brand Platform: A new "No Bull" brand platform leans into Omaha Steaks' 109-year legacy and expertise to bring greater value, trust and transparency to consumers while introducing the brand to a new generation.

OMAHA, Neb., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Omaha Steaks, America's Original Butcher, today unveiled a major transformation of its business and a new "No Bull" brand platform, bringing significant changes to what the 109-year-old company sells, how it communicates value and how quickly products reach customers.

Flexibility and convenience are at the core of the new Omaha Steaks shopping experience, offering consumers the high-quality steak, chicken, pork and seafood they're seeking in the way that best fits their lifestyle. Customers can now choose from more customizable packages than ever before and get them as quickly as same-day thanks to a rapidly expanding retail and fulfillment footprint that brings same-day and next-day delivery to more customers. That investment has reduced the average delivery time from more than six days in early 2025 to two days today.

"Omaha Steaks has been around for 109 years because we never stand still on delivering value," said Nate Rempe, President and CEO of Omaha Steaks. "Today, value is about more than price – it's knowing what you're buying, where it comes from and the expertise behind it. We're being crystal clear about the value we deliver, including 100% U.S.-sourced beef and premium proteins families can feel good about serving."

Omaha Steaks' focus on premium proteins centers on what made the company famous – high-quality proteins and the expertise behind them – while improving inventory, replenishment and fulfillment. The company is concentrating investment and innovation across steak, chicken, seafood, pork and other core proteins, and continuing its commitment to 100% U.S.-sourced beef, hand-cut in Omaha by experienced butchers. Its USDA Certified Tender Top Sirloin Filet offers consumers a more affordable premium beef option, while consumers looking for more variety in their protein choices can find thoughtfully curated new options like parmesan-crusted chicken nuggets sure to please the entire family.

Turning 109 Years of Expertise Into a Modern Brand Platform

The consumer-facing expression of the transformation is "No Bull," a new brand platform that turns Omaha Steaks' 109-year history into an advantage. With a contemporary, self-aware voice, the campaign leans into the brand's legacy and expertise while spotlighting the product truths behind Omaha Steaks – from sourcing and aging to craftsmanship, quality and delivery.

"Quality is the easiest claim in the business to make and the hardest to back up. We back it up," said Eric Johnson, Chief Marketing and Digital Officer of Omaha Steaks. "We apply the same hard-won standard to the chicken, the pork and the seafood that we apply to a filet. Nothing carries the Omaha Steaks name until it earns it. No Bull cuts through the noise and puts that craft out in the open: who's behind the product, the care that goes into it and what makes it different, so people understand exactly what they're getting for their dollar."

The campaign will come to life across TV, influencer partnerships, PR, paid social, search, email and Omaha Steaks' digital experience, supporting the company's efforts to reach a new generation of consumers – from younger urban shoppers seeking high-quality protein to busy families looking for convenient ways to keep premium proteins on hand – while continuing to serve the longtime customers and gifting occasions that remain core to the brand.

Dr Hanan H. Balkhy Launches Candidacy for WHO Director-General, Pledges "A WHO the World Can Count On"

- Nominated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

- A physician trained in Saudi Arabia and the United States, with more than 30 years of experience spanning clinical medicine, academic research and international public health leadership

- WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean sets out a three-part platform for a more trusted, prepared and accountable World Health Organization

- Record of delivery includes mobilising more than US$1.6 billion in additional programme resources for polio and emergencies

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr Hanan H. Balkhy, WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, announced her candidacy for Director-General of the World Health Organization, having been nominated for the role by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, pledging to build "a WHO the world can count on."

"The world needs a WHO it can count on, that means decisions grounded in science and transparency; an Organization that is prepared before crises strike and decisive when they do; and a WHO that turns universal health coverage from a global commitment into something people experience in their everyday lives."

"I have spent my career confronting health threats, strengthening health systems and leading through crises. I have worked and led across WHO at every level - country, regional and global - and I understand both what Member States need from the Organization and what it takes to deliver for them. I also know the difference strong institutions can make when they are trusted, prepared and focused on delivery.''

"My candidacy is a commitment to the transformational change WHO now needs: earning Trust through science and stewardship, delivering Impact through preparedness and country-led action, and demonstrating Value through measurable results. Above all, it means keeping people at the centre of global health."

A physician with more than three decades of experience spanning clinical medicine, academic research and international public health leadership, Dr Hanan H. Balkhy has built her career from the bedside to the highest offices of global health.

She currently leads WHO's operations across 22 Member States and more than 750 million people as Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean, having previously served as WHO's first-ever Assistant Director-General for Antimicrobial Resistance and as a member of the Organization's Global Policy Group.

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Health, H.E. Fahad Abdulrahman AlJalajel, said: "Dr Balkhy is one of the world's foremost public health experts. She has dedicated her career to advancing global health, and she brings the fresh thinking, proven leadership, and record of results that this moment demands''

Her candidacy comes at a pivotal moment for WHO, as the Organization moves from negotiation to implementation of the Pandemic Agreement, works to strengthen its financing base, and responds to growing calls from Member States for greater country ownership of health priorities.

Dr Balkhy has begun a programme of international visits, meeting government officials, health leaders and frontline practitioners around the world. Most recently she attended the WHO Regional Committee Meeting for Africa in Ethiopia and the one for the Southeast Asia in Timor Leste. She will be at the UNGA and in Washington D.C. later this month for national and multilateral engagements.

Dr Hanan H. Balkhy has built her career from the bedside to the highest levels of global health leadership, working across diverse health systems and political contexts. Trained in Saudi Arabia and the United States, with leadership experience spanning Saudi Arabia, the Eastern Mediterranean Region and WHO headquarters in Geneva, she brings a rare breadth of clinical, scientific and institutional experience to the role. Throughout her career, she has bridged science and policy, linking crisis response with long-term health-system strengthening and a focus on measurable results.

Long before COVID-19, she was working on the frontlines of MERS-CoV, helping to build Saudi Arabia's national infection prevention programme, strengthen its research capacity and lead the country's first Phase I clinical vaccine trial.

Dr Balkhy's platform is built on three priorities:

1. Built on TRUST - A WHO the world can count on - Restoring scientific authority, strengthening accountability and protecting WHO's independence.

2. Driven by IMPACT - A WHO that is there when it matters - Strengthening preparedness, responding faster to health emergencies and supporting countries when crises strike.

3. Measured by VALUE - A WHO that delivers measurable results - Advancing universal health coverage, strengthening country capacity and demonstrating the value of every resource entrusted to it.

Dr Balkhy said she was deeply grateful to the Kingdom, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the nomination, which reflects their leadership in, and commitment to, global health for all.

As It Marks 20 Years, the New York City-Born Coffee Brand Adds Banana Foster-Inspired Drinks, Returning Pumpkin Favorites and a New Breakfast Lineup with Up to 47 Grams of Protein

NEW YORK, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Gregorys Coffee ("Gregorys"), a New York City-born specialty coffee brand within the Craveworthy Brands portfolio, is going bigger and cozier this fall with a limited-time lineup of Banana Foster-inspired sips, returning pumpkin favorites and new protein-packed breakfast sandwiches.

"After 20 years in New York, there are drinks so beloved, that people would notice if we ever stopped making them," said Gregory Zamfotis, founder of Gregorys. "Those come back every year, and everything around them changes, so no two fall seasons look the same. Banana Foster is a dessert everybody already knows, and getting the banana right took the longest. Once we had it, it carried across espresso, matcha and chai."

The fall lineup, available at Gregorys coffee houses through October, includes:

- Banana Foster Latte: Espresso meets banana, butter rum, cinnamon sugar, banana chips and oat milk for a warm spin on the classic dessert. The Iced Banana Foster Latte takes it one step further with toasted maple rum vegan foam.

- Banana Bread Chai: Banana and butter rum meet spiced chai and oat milk for a sip inspired by a fresh slice of banana bread.

- Banana Foster Matcha Latte: Ceremonial-grade matcha meets banana, butter rum, oat milk, cinnamon sugar and a banana chip for a fall twist on the classic dessert

- Pumpkin Spice Latte: Gregorys' vegan take on the fall essential, espresso made with pumpkin spice, vanilla and oat milk.

- Smashing Pumpkin Cold Brew: A returning seasonal favorite featuring Gregorys cold brew with pumpkin spice, vanilla and oat milk.

And for Gregorys most loyalty customers, known as Gregulars, not quite ready to let go of summer, the Honey Ace – a refreshing blend of yuzu, wild raspberry and lemonade over bursting boba with a splash of cucumber – will remain available at participating locations throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut through September 13.

Bigger, Better Breakfast

Gregorys is bringing the same focus on quality to breakfast with an elevated sandwich menu, featuring two fresh-cracked eggs in every housemade sandwich, premium ingredients and up to 47 grams of protein.

The new breakfast options include the Ham, Egg & Cheese Croissant; Bacon, Egg & Cheese English Muffin; Sausage, Egg & Cheese English Muffin; Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant and Prosciutto, Egg & Brie Baguette, layered with bacon, prosciutto, arugula, brie spread and fig jam.

"Every one of these sandwiches gets two eggs cracked in the store," added Jax Sperling, Vice President of Culinary & Supply Chain for Craveworthy Brands. "That is not the fast way to do it, and it is why they taste the way they do. Breakfast on the way to work usually asks you to settle for less, and there is no good reason for that. The prosciutto, egg and brie on a baguette is the one I keep going back to."

In celebration of National Coffee Day on September 29, every Gregorys Rewards member who makes a purchase will earn 400 Gs – enough to redeem for a free drip coffee on their next visit or save toward another reward. About CytoSorbents Corporation (NASDAQ: CTSO)

CytoSorbents Corporation is a leader in the treatment of life-threatening conditions in the intensive care unit and cardiac surgery through blood purification. CytoSorbents' proprietary blood purification technologies are based on biocompatible, highly porous polymer beads that can actively remove toxic substances from blood and other bodily fluids by pore capture and surface adsorption. Cartridges filled with these beads can be used with standard blood pumps already in the hospital (e.g. dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy or CRRT, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation or ECMO, and heart-lung machines), where blood is repeatedly recirculated outside the body, through our cartridges where toxic substances are removed, and then back into the body. CytoSorbents' technologies are used in a number of broad applications. Specifically, two important applications are 1) the removal of blood thinners during and after cardiothoracic surgery to reduce the risk of severe bleeding, and 2) the removal of inflammatory agents and toxins in common critical illnesses that can lead to massive inflammation, organ failure and patient death. The breadth of these critical illnesses includes, for example, sepsis, burn injury, trauma, lung injury, liver failure, cytokine storm and cytokine release syndrome, and pancreatitis as well as the removal of liver toxins that accumulate in acute liver dysfunction or failure, and the removal of myoglobin in severe rhabdomyolysis that can otherwise lead to renal failure. In these diseases, the risk of death can be extremely high, and there are few, if any, effective treatments.

CytoSorbents' lead product, CytoSorb®, is approved in the European Union and distributed in over 70 countries worldwide, with more than 300,000 devices used cumulatively to date. CytoSorb® was originally launched in the European Union under CE mark as the first cytokine adsorber. Additional CE mark extensions were granted for bilirubin and myoglobin removal in clinical conditions such as liver disease and trauma, respectively, and for ticagrelor and rivaroxaban removal in cardiothoracic surgery procedures. CytoSorb®

has also received FDA Emergency Use Authorization in the United States for use in adult critically ill COVID-19 patients with impending or confirmed respiratory failure. CytoSorb® is not yet approved or cleared in the United States.

In the U.S. and Canada, CytoSorbents is developing the DrugSorb®-ATR antithrombotic removal system, an investigational device based on an equivalent polymer technology to CytoSorb®, to reduce the severity of perioperative bleeding in high-risk surgery due to blood thinning drugs. It has received two FDA Breakthrough Device Designations: one for the removal of ticagrelor and another for the removal of the direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC) apixaban and rivaroxaban in a cardiopulmonary bypass circuit during urgent cardiothoracic surgery. The latest assay results represent eight (8) diamond drill holes for 2,955 m from the underground resource expansion drill program targeting the potential link between the L10 Zone ("L10"), and the larger 710-711 Zone ("710-711"), outside of the current mineral resources ("2024 MRE"). Drilling was conducted from Level 16 (-720 m depth) to test the extensions of L10 vein system and confirm the link with the 710-711 vein system, referred to as the "L10/710-711 Complex Link" (see press release dated May 12, 2026, entitled "1911 Gold Confirms Extensions of the L10 Zone at True North, intersecting 11.54 g/t Au over 3.70 m").

Highlights:

- Drilling on L10 confirmed the extensions of gold mineralization outside of the 2024 MRE, on veins linking L10 with the larger 710-711 Zone at depth

- Drilling within the L10-710-711 Complex Link target area intersected the following highlighted results:

- UG16-26-072: Intersected 10.73 grams per tonne ("g/t") Au over 8.90 m (at 245.30 m downhole depth), including 16.12 g/t Au over 5.40 m, including 49.50 g/t Au over 0.80 m

- UG16-26-076: Intersected 50.61 g/t Au over 1.60 m (at 219.20 m downhole depth), including 65.80 g/t Au over 1.00 m

- UG16-26-074: Intersected 8.72 g/t Au over 1.70 m (at 189.30 m downhole depth), including 19.70 g/t Au over 0.60 m

- UG16-26-068: Intersected 3.58 g/t Au over 3.60 m (at 193.00 m downhole depth), including 10.60 g/t Au over 0.50 m

- The exploration drill program targeting resource expansion outside of the 2024 MRE and resource potential from the new discoveries at True North, will be included as part of a global mineral resource estimate expected in the fourth quarter of 2026 ("Q4/2026")

Shaun Heinrichs, President and CEO, stated, "Over the last two years, our exploration program has systematically tested the true size potential of the True North mine lease area, beginning with surface drilling that led to several new discoveries. Once we regained underground access, we tested the depth extensions of the new discoveries, as well as the resource expansion potential of known zones. The high-grade results reported today, highlighted by 50.61 g/t Au over 1.60 m, confirm a critical connection between L10 and the much larger 710-711 Zone, delivering exactly the kind of upside we were targeting, and will be incorporated into our fall resource estimate. The results from our ongoing exploration program continue to underscore True North's growth potential, which is central to the district-scale opportunity."

1911 Gold has now completed a total of 20 drill holes for 6,563 m as part of the resource expansion drill program on L10, with eleven (11) drill holes confirming the L10/710-711 Complex Link.  Additional drill results from True North, consisting of resource expansion as well as infill and delineation drilling are pending and will be released once assays have been received.

Table 1: Select Significant Drill Results – Resource Expansion Drill Program at True North (L10/710-711 Complex Link)

L10 Resource Expansion Drilling: Discussion of Results

The L10 Zone is located on the intersection of the Shoreline Basalt unit and the regional east-west steeply north-dipping L10 Shear Zone, with gold-bearing mineralization associated with veins developed as generally north-west trending extensional stockwork and breccia veins and east-west steeply north-dipping shear veins. Veining is predominantly composed of quartz with accessory Fe-carbonate and albite, with sericite-pyrite and chlorite as veinlets and pervasive alteration halos. Gold is associated with minor pyrite and as free native gold.

The L10 Shear Zone hosts a series of mineralized veins associated with the L10 and 710-711 Zones. All 8 holes confirmed the extension of gold mineralization in multiple veins, validating the link with the deeper and larger 710-711 Zone and supporting the potential to expand the current resources.

These results are located adjacent to the previously reported drill holes from the same target area, including UG16-26-055¹, which intersected 5.48 g/t Au over 9.20 m (at 195.50 m downhole depth), including 7.52 g/t Au over 4.10 m, including 12.00 g/t Au over 2.00 m, and including 14.80 g/t Au over 1.00 m, and 11.54 g/t Au over 3.70 m (at 224.10 m downhole depth), including 13.65 g/t Au over 2.30 m, and including 20.20 g/t Au over 0.70 m, from drill hole UG16-26-055¹.

Drilling from the current exploration drill program targeting the L10/710-711 Complex Link intersected significant grades in the following drill holes:

- UG16-26-072 intersected 10.73 g/t Au over 8.90 m (at 245.30 m downhole depth), including 16.12 g/t Au over 5.40 m, including 17.60 g/t Au over 0.80 m, and 49.50 g/t Au over 0.80 m within vein V709;

- UG16-26-074 intersected 8.72 g/t Au over 1.70 m (at 189.30 m downhole depth), including 19.70 g/t Au over 0.60 m within vein V715;

- UG16-26-077 intersected 4.05 g/t Au over 3.70 m (at 214.00 m downhole depth), including 20.90 g/t Au over 0.50 m within vein V715; and

- UG16-26-080 intersected 11.90 g/t Au over 0.80 m (at 252.50 m downhole depth) within vein V709.

The L10 Zone is readily accessible via the main A Shaft on the Level 16 drift and is open approximately 200 m down-plunge to the NNE and over 200 m along strike to the NW towards the upper extent of the 710-711 zone, located within the same geological setting. Follow-up drilling will be planned in 2027, once all data has been compiled and following completion of the resource update in Q4/2026.

Next Steps

Geological wireframe modelling of the veins has commenced for the updated True North resource estimate, expected in Q4/2026, which will be combined with the Ogama-Rockland Gold Project into a global resource update. The estimate will incorporate surface and underground exploration drilling at the near-mine discoveries (San Antonio West, San Antonio Southeast, and Shore) as well as resource expansion drilling at L10 (including the L10/710-711 Complex Link), and the 007 and Hinge Zones.

Current drilling activities are being conducted from underground with three (3) drill rigs focused on infill and delineation of areas contemplated for test mining and the early years of the Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) mine plan. Two (2) drill rigs are active on Level 16, and a third is active from the Hinge decline. A fourth underground drill rig will be mobilized upon completion of rehabilitation on Level 26.

Qualified Person Statement

The scientific and technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Mr. Michele Della Libera, P.Geo, Vice-President Exploration of 1911 Gold Corporation, who is a "Qualified Person" as defined under NI 43-101.

Quality Assurance/Quality Controls (QA/QC)

Oriented core samples are collected by sawing the drill core in half along the axis, with one-half sampled, placed in plastic sample bags, labelled, sealed, and the other half retained for future reference. Batches are shipped to Activation Laboratories Ltd. (Actlabs), in Thunder Bay, Ontario, for sample preparation and analysis. Samples are dried, crushed to 2mm and a 1 kg split is pulverized to -200 mesh. Gold analysis is completed by fire-assay with an atomic absorption finish on 50 grams of prepared pulp. Samples returning values equal to or greater than 10.00 g/t are reanalyzed by fire assay with a gravimetric finish. Total gold analysis (Screen Metallic Sieve) is conducted on highly mineralized samples or samples with the presence of visible gold. Certified gold reference material samples are inserted every 20 samples and blank samples at intervals of one in every 50 samples, with additional blanks inserted after samples hosting visible gold. Repeat third-party gold analyses for 5% of all submitted sample pulps are analyzed at ALS-Chemex Laboratory, North Vancouver, Canada.

Loan Agreement Extension

The Company also announces that it has entered into an amendment to its loan agreement dated February 19, 2026 (the "Loan Agreement") with Auramet International, Inc. (the "Lender"). Pursuant to the amendment, dated effective September 4, 2026, the availability period during which the Tranche 2 amount may be drawn has been extended to December 4, 2026, and may be further extended by the Lender in its sole discretion. The amendment also introduces an additional condition precedent to the Tranche 2 drawdown, requiring a cost to completion estimate for the project to be reasonably agreed between the Company and the Lender and to be fully funded. All other terms and conditions of the Loan Agreement remain in full force and effect.

QTS Launches $1 Billion Global Water Stewardship Pledge

Investment will support local water infrastructure, conservation projects and QTS's goal of becoming water positive by 2035

ASHBURN, Va., Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- QTS today announced a $1 billion global water stewardship pledge to help achieve the company's goal of becoming water positive by 2035 — restoring, replenishing or protecting more water than QTS withdraws in its current operations. The investment will support water infrastructure improvements, conservation projects and watershed restoration in the communities that QTS calls home.

The initiative builds on QTS's long-standing approach to reducing water demand through its Water-Free Cooling Design while investing in projects that strengthen local water systems and improve water reliability.

"Water is becoming a defining issue for the future of digital infrastructure," said Tag Greason and David Robey, Co-CEOs of QTS. "We believe the best approach starts with using less water. Our Water-Free Cooling Design significantly reduces water use, and this $1 billion commitment will help communities strengthen local water infrastructure and protect resources for the long term."

The initiative focuses on three priorities: continuing to minimize operational water demand, reusing water where practical and replenishing local water resources through infrastructure improvements and nature-based solutions. Because water challenges vary by region, investments will focus on projects that address local community and watershed needs.

Investing in Local Water Solutions

QTS will support projects that deliver measurable benefits for local communities and watersheds, including water infrastructure upgrades, leak reduction, wetland restoration and other conservation efforts. Projects will be developed with community input, with results independently verified and published to ensure measurable results.

Reducing Water Demand

Since 2019, QTS has used its Water-Free Cooling Design to significantly reduce water use compared with traditional evaporative cooling systems. The technology relies on a closed-loop system that does not require ongoing water consumption for cooling and will continue to be deployed across new QTS developments.

Texas: The First Major Investment

Texas provides an early example of how QTS plans to put this commitment into action. The company recently announced plans to invest $250 million in Texas water infrastructure and conservation projects over the next decade, including replacement of the aging water tower in Turkey, Texas. QTS also plans to invest $15 million over the next decade with the Bonneville Environmental Foundation to support water conservation and replenishment projects across the state, including leak detection, habitat restoration and irrigation-efficiency improvements.

"This commitment reflects our belief that growth and stewardship go hand in hand," said Greason and Robey. "Our goal is to help communities strengthen the water systems they depend on while continuing to support the growth of digital infrastructure."

"Watersheds in Texas and across the West support communities, ecosystems and industries that are important to the entire country," said Sara Hoversten, Senior Director, Business for Water Stewardship at Bonneville Environmental Foundation. "Protecting and sustaining them requires collaboration across sectors — bringing together investment from businesses like QTS with technical expertise and the knowledge and voices from local communities. We look forward to working with QTS and local partners to support water resilience solutions that meet communities' specific needs and deliver lasting benefits."

QTS plans to announce additional water stewardship projects, partnerships and progress updates as the initiative moves forward.

Talogy assessment tool recognized for its contribution to building workplace resilience

New book on resilience, written by leading experts on the psychology of lawyer behavior, credits 30 years of Talogy's Caliper Profile

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Talogy, a global leader in talent management solutions, has been recognized for its pivotal role in advancing workplace resilience research in a new book Thin-Skinned: Why Lawyers Are So Low in Resilience and the New Science That Can Help.

Published by the American Bar Association, the book by leading legal psychology experts Dr. Larry Richard and Dr. D'Arcy Lyness credits 30 years of data from Talogy's Caliper profile assessment as the foundation for its insights into high-stakes workforce performance.

Drawing from a database of 4.5 million Caliper assessments, the book highlights a central workplace paradox: the very traits required for exceptional job performance are often the exact traits that leave professionals vulnerable to stress. Specifically, Dr. Richard's data shows that lawyers average just 30% on resilience, compared to 50% for the general public, with nine out of 10 scoring in the bottom half of the resilience scale. This is a pattern that has remained unchanged since 1994.

"In the three decades that we have been evaluating and coaching legal professionals, we have seen a clear pattern," said Dr. Larry Richard. "Law schools admit, firms hire and clients reward individuals who demonstrate high skepticism, high urgency, high self-reliance and an intolerance for error. While those traits produce stronger legal documents and won cases, our research shows they also predict rumination, defensiveness, isolation and difficulty coping with criticism, stress and change."

This dynamic extends far beyond law. Any workforce that hires and promotes for vigilance, perfection and precision under pressure faces the same risks, such as manufacturing safety leads, ICU charge nurses, compliance officers, federal investigators or public safety supervisors.

By using Talogy's assessment data to view resilience as a measurable trait rather than a temporary mood, leaders across all organizations can act on three core operational insights:

- Early risk detection: Identify psychological risk factors before they lead to turnover, prolonged absences, or safety incidents.

- Separating skill from leadership: Recognize that a top individual performer is not automatically equipped to be a resilient leader.

- Actionable intervention: Address workforce vulnerabilities directly using science-backed development strategies.

"The Caliper Profile measures the innate personality traits and behavioral motivations that dictate how individuals process stress, setbacks, and criticism," said Nataliya Baytalskaya, Ph.D. and Managing Research Scientist at Talogy. "Low resilience is not a barrier, it is a developmental opportunity. By leveraging objective measurement, organizations can deploy targeted, evidence-based strategies that help high-performing teams adapt under pressure without sacrificing their operational edge."

Match Unveils 15th Annual Singles in America Study

New data, supported by Kinsey Institute, shows singles remain optimistic about lasting love while becoming more deliberate about the connections they pursue.

DALLAS, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Match, in partnership with researchers from The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University, today released its 15th annual Singles in America study, the nation's most comprehensive and longest-running annual study of single adults.

Based on a survey of about 5,000 U.S. singles, the study examines how Americans are approaching love and relationships today. Conducted online nationwide between March and April 2026, the survey included adults age 18 and older who are not married, living with a partner, in a domestic partnership or in a committed relationship, with the sample balanced for age and gender based on U.S. Census demographics.

After 15 years of tracking how single Americans date, desire, and connect, this year's findings point to a quality over quantity approach to dating: singles are setting clearer intentions and prioritizing compatibility, trust and emotional steadiness, while remaining optimistic about finding lasting love.

Key findings include:

- Selective on purpose, but still open to love: Nearly three-quarters of singles (72%) are interested in or open to dating or a relationship. While 16% are actively seeking a committed relationship, 45% say they are not actively looking but would welcome a relationship if the right person came along.

- Still betting on forever: Seventy-six percent believe romantic love can last forever, 74% believe some relationships are meant to be and 61% believe there is a perfect match or soulmate for everyone.

- Clear standards, with room for surprise: Nearly half of singles (49%) have fallen for someone they were not initially attracted to. Among those who keep a checklist for their ideal partner, 46% have fallen for someone who did not fit it.

- Compatibility can outweigh immediate chemistry: Great conversation (47%) is the leading reason singles became interested in someone they were not initially attracted to, followed by shared interests (41%) and shared values (35%). Forty-one percent would consider a second date even if the first was not exciting.

- Steadiness matters: When asked to choose what matters more in a relationship, singles are more than twice as likely to prioritize peace and emotional safety over passion and excitement (34% vs. 14%). Among women, that gap widens to 40% vs. 9%.

- Financial openness is a trust signal: Seventy-one percent say being open about money builds trust, 70% are open to a prenup or similar agreement and 89% agree both partners should share equally in financial decisions.

"For 15 years, Singles in America, the nation's longest-running and most comprehensive annual study of single adults has given us a window into what people truly want from love and relationships," said Stephanie Danzi, Global Chief Marketing Officer at Match Group. "This year, singles are telling us they are more intentional and romantic than ever. They're thoughtful about where they invest their time and emotions. That clarity is shaping how people approach relationships today: intention is the new romance."

Selective on Purpose, Yet Still Open to Love

Singles may be measured about the relationships they pursue, but the door to love remains wide open. Nearly three-quarters (72%) are interested in or open to dating or a relationship. While just 16% say they are actively seeking a committed relationship, another 45% say they are not actively looking but would welcome a relationship if the right person came along.

The findings point to an approach centered on making the right connection count. Singles are open to "romance and relationships" while being thoughtful about when, where and with whom they invest their time and energy.

That openness is especially high among younger generations. Eighty-one percent of Gen Z and 78% of Millennials are interested in dating or a relationship, compared with 69% of Gen X and 55% of Boomers.

If they met their perfect match tomorrow, 57% of Gen Z and 51% of Millennials say they would start dating them right away, compared with 41% of Gen X and 28% of Boomers.

Singles Are Still Betting on Forever

Being selective has not diminished singles' belief in love. Seventy-six percent believe romantic love can last forever, 74% believe some relationships are meant to be, and 61% believe there is a perfect match or soulmate for everyone.

Belief in love at first sight also remains strong. Sixty-two percent believe in it, while nearly half (47%) say they have experienced it themselves.

Romance can look different across generations. Seven in 10 Boomers say small, everyday acts of affection matter more than big romantic gestures, while 52% of Gen Z prefer bigger romantic gestures.

Across generations, the findings show that singles still want the love story. They are looking for relationships that can pair that romance with the qualities they value in a lasting partner.

Clear Standards, With Room for Surprise

Nearly half of singles (49%) say they have fallen for someone they did not initially find attractive. And among singles who keep a checklist for their ideal partner, 46% say they have fallen for someone who did not fit it.

What turns an initial connection into something unexpectedly more are factors beyond looks. Great conversation is the leading reason singles became interested in someone they were not initially attracted to, followed by shared interests and shared values.

Singles are also willing to give promising connections another chance. Forty-one percent (41%) would consider a second date even if the first was not exciting.

The findings show that clearer standards can coexist with openness. Singles know what qualities matter to them, while leaving room for attraction and compatibility to emerge in ways they may not have anticipated.

"There's an interesting tension in the data: singles today have clear expectations for a partner, but love still has the ability to surprise them," said Dr. Justin Garcia, Executive Director of the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University. "Nearly half have fallen for someone they weren't initially attracted to, and conversation, shared interests, and values can change how they see someone. Knowing what matters to you doesn't mean knowing exactly who you'll fall for."

Steadiness Is Part of the Love Story

Romance still matters, but singles also want relationships that feel secure. When asked to choose between peace and emotional safety or passion and excitement, singles choose peace and emotional safety by more than two to one (34% vs. 14%).

Among women, that preference is even stronger: 40% prioritize peace and emotional safety in a relationship, compared with 9% who choose passion and excitement.

Emotional safety also shows up in how singles describe connection. Feeling respected (61%), feeling listened to (56%), and being able to share feelings without judgment (54%) are among the qualities that help singles feel emotionally safe with someone.

The findings suggest singles are looking for relationships that combine romance with steadiness, trust and emotional security.

Compatibility Extends to Money

Seventy-one percent say being open about money builds trust in a relationship, including 42% who say it builds trust significantly. Financial goals (49%), spending habits (46%), and saving or budgeting (45%) are among the topics singles associate with financial conversations.

Different financial perspectives are not necessarily dealbreakers. Fifty-six percent say they could still fall in love with someone who views finances and spending differently than they do, while 70% are open to signing a prenup or similar agreement.

At the same time, partnership matters: 89% agree both partners should share equally in financial decisions.

Together, the findings show today's singles are looking beyond surface-level compatibility toward the emotional and practical qualities that can make a relationship work in the real world.
