FLORHAM PARK, N.J., Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's Raquel S. Lord, Ian S. Marx, and Clarissa A. Gomez have been recognized in the 2026 New Jersey Legal Awards.

According to the New Jersey Law Journal, the New Jersey Legal Awards recognize "the trailblazers, innovators, and dedicated professionals who have made a lasting impact on the State's legal landscape." Winners will be announced Oct. 29 at The Palace at Somerset Park.

Lord, a shareholder in the firm's New Jersey Labor & Employment Practice, is a finalist in the "Best Mentors" category.

Lord is an employment litigator and trusted adviser who counsels businesses across the health care, pharmaceutical, financial services, and retail industries on a broad range of workplace matters, including employment practices, compliance, investigations, and labor disputes. She regularly conducts internal investigations for her clients, and has experience litigating and counseling clients on joint employer issues and franchise matters. She routinely represents employers in federal and state courts and before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state and local agencies.

Lord also serves as co-career development liaison for the firm's Associate Development Program in New Jersey, working closely with associates, firm leaders, practice groups, and the firm's Professional Development team to support attorney growth, mentoring, morale, and engagement. She helps associates build meaningful mentoring relationships and connect with training and resources that support their long-term success.

Marx, a shareholder in the Litigation Practice, is a finalist for the "Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year" award, which recognizes an individual "who has had inspiring success on a 2025 pro bono case or who dedicated a notable amount of their time in 2025 to pro bono work to achieve meaningful results," according to the publication.

Marx joined Greenberg Traurig's New Jersey office shortly after its opening over 20 years ago and represents industry-leading, household-name clients (as well as individuals and entrepreneurs) in their most challenging, business-critical disputes both in his home state of New Jersey as well as in courts and before arbitration panels throughout the United States and its territories. He also is passionately committed to pro bono work and using his voice and position to advocate for constitutional rights and social justice. He has devoted hundreds of hours to representing victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, political refugees, and wrongfully convicted and abused prisoners, among others, closely collaborating with and representing such organizations as Rachel Coalition, Partners, KIND, Human Rights Watch, Innocence Project, ACLU-NJ, and others. Marx has developed particular experience in issues relating to witness identification testimony and its impact on wrongful convictions and successfully argued State v. Watson and State v. Washington before the New Jersey Supreme Court, in which the court accepted his clients' positions and made precedential rulings that would make criminal trials in New Jersey fairer by eliminating scientifically unreliable testimony and reducing the number of wrongful convictions.

Gomez, of counsel in the Litigation Practice, has been named a "New Leader of the Bar, Litigation" winner, an award given to an attorney under 40 who "brings both notable achievements and outstanding potential to the table."

Gomez regularly represents clients in class actions and other complex business disputes. She represents clients in various industries, including health care, hospitality, energy, and education. In addition, Gomez defends employers and managers in employment disputes arising under employment laws, including the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. She has experience with claims alleging discrimination, wrongful discharge, and harassment.

Gomez has served on the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA)'s board for four years, helping strengthen relationships between the bar and the bench through committee leadership informed by her experience clerking for both state and federal judges in New Jersey. She also serves as a scorer for the NJWLA's law school scholarship essay competition.

Hydro One seeks approval from the Ontario Energy Board to build the North Shore Link

The new line is expected to strengthen the electricity system and support economic growth in the northeast

TORONTO, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Hydro One Networks Inc. (Hydro One) and Hydro One Sault Ste. Marie LP (HOSSM) filed a joint leave-to-construct application with the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) to seek approval to construct the North Shore Link.

Once approved, Hydro One will construct the proposed North Shore Link, a new 230-kilovolt transmission line connecting Mississagi Transformer Station (TS) near Wharncliffe to HOSSM-owned Third Line TS in Sault Ste. Marie. As part of the project, Hydro One will upgrade Mississagi TS and expand nearby Algoma TS to meet system requirements, while HOSSM will manage all upgrades to Third Line TS. The $1.3 billion investment is expected to strengthen the connection between the northeast and northwest and improve the resiliency of the northern transmission system. The line is expected to be in service in 2029.

Through Hydro One's First Nation Equity Partnership Model, nine potential First Nation partners will have the opportunity to invest in a 50 per cent equity stake in the transmission line component of the project. Together, Hydro One and participating First Nations will continue to collaborate on the planning, development and construction of the line.

"Electricity demand in Ontario is increasing. At the same time, infrastructure is aging and severe weather events are becoming more frequent. Communities and local businesses depend on reliable electricity to power daily life and the time to invest in the system is now," said Ryan Docherty, Executive Vice President, Capital Portfolio Delivery, Hydro One. "The North Shore Link is one in a series of significant investments that we'll advance with First Nations. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient electricity grid that will support economic growth and help meet Ontario's future electricity needs."

Filing a leave-to-construct application under Section 92 of the Ontario Energy Board Act, 1998 is required for electricity transmitters in Ontario to obtain approval from the OEB to construct, expand or reinforce the transmission system. The application includes details on the project's route, design, timing and cost.

NEW STUDY: WHITE MEMORIAL HOSPITALS GENERATE $1.2 BILLION IN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY AS L.A. HEALTHCARE SAFETY NET FACES GROWING PRESSURES

Hospitals support 5,500 jobs while serving communities facing significant health, economic and environmental disparities.

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- As hospitals serving high-need communities face growing financial pressures, a new study finds Adventist Health White Memorial and Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello generate more than $1.2 billion in annual economic activity and support approximately 5,500 jobs across Los Angeles County.

The study, conducted by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC), examines the hospitals' roles as healthcare providers, employers, and community anchors. Together, they serve more than 2.4 million residents across their combined primary and secondary service areas.

"This study puts numbers behind something we see every day: Adventist Health White Memorial is deeply woven into the life of the communities we serve," said Daniel Fontoura, President of Adventist Health White Memorial and Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello. "Our impact begins with providing quality, compassionate healthcare, but reaches much further. Protecting this infrastructure is essential to the health and strength of our communities for generations to come."

The findings come at a critical time for the healthcare safety net. Approximately 86% of Adventist Health White Memorial's payor mix comes from Medi-Cal and Medicare, while the communities it serves already face significant barriers to healthcare. In its Primary Service Area, 14.4% of residents are uninsured, nearly twice the Los Angeles County average of 7.6%.

"Community hospitals such as Adventist Health White Memorial are an essential part of our healthcare safety net," said Paul Young, Senior Vice President of Advocacy and Public Policy at the Hospital Association of Southern California. "They provide trusted care close to home and help ensure that underserved communities are not left behind."

The hospitals' impact also extends throughout the regional economy through purchasing, employee spending, and support for local businesses.

"Adventist Health White Memorial Hospitals support thousands of jobs and generate economic activity that strengthens local businesses and benefits families throughout Los Angeles County," said Maria S. Salinas, President and CEO of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. "Strong healthcare institutions help build strong communities, a thriving workforce and a more resilient regional economy."

Adventist Health White Memorial Foundation is calling on philanthropic partners, community leaders, and other stakeholders to help sustain healthcare access and community investment.

"Safeguarding our communities is a shared responsibility," said Juan De La Cruz, President of Adventist Health White Memorial Foundation Los Angeles & Montebello. "Together, we can protect access to care while building a stronger, more resilient region."

About Adventist Health White Memorial

Adventist Health White Memorial and Adventist Health White Memorial Montebello are nonprofit, faith-based hospitals providing compassionate, whole-person care across Los Angeles County. Together, the hospitals provide more than 545 licensed beds and offer inpatient, outpatient, emergency, diagnostic and specialty services.

About the Economic Impact Study

The study was conducted by the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation's Institute for Applied Economics and evaluates the hospitals' economic and fiscal impact, including direct operations, supply-chain activity, and employee spending, as well as conditions in the communities they serve.

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Robbins LLP reminds investors that a securities class action has been filed on behalf of shareholders who purchased or otherwise acquired EquipmentShare.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: EQPT): (1) Class A common stock issued in connection with the Company's January 2026 initial public offering ("IPO"), or (2) securities between January 23, 2026 and June 23, 2026, inclusive (the "Class Period"). EquipmentShare.com operates T3, an integrated cloud-based platform used for equipment rental and construction equipment management.

The lawsuit alleges that EquipmentShare.com, Inc. made false and misleading statements and omissions concerning undisclosed related-party transactions and its financial condition in connection with its IPO and during the Class Period.

Investors who purchased EQPT securities during the applicable period and suffered losses may have legal rights. Investors seeking appointment as lead plaintiff must file their papers with the court by September 21, 2026.

Listen to our podcast.

What Is the EquipmentShare.com Class Action About?

According to the complaint, EquipmentShare.com completed its IPO on January 26, 2026. The lawsuit alleges that EquipmentShare.com's IPO Registration Statement and subsequent statements during the Class Period failed to disclose material information concerning the Company's relationships and transactions with entities allegedly owned or controlled by its co-founders.

Specifically, plaintiff alleges that EquipmentShare.com failed to disclose that:

- the Company participated in additional undisclosed related-party transactions;

- the Company had not terminated or substantially reduced certain transactions with entities allegedly owned or controlled by its co-founders; and

- as a result, the Company's financial statements were materially misleading.

What Happened to EQPT Stock?

According to the complaint, on June 24, 2026, Umibōzu Research published a report containing allegations concerning EquipmentShare.com's related-party transactions. The report alleged that undisclosed related-party transactions had generated at least $77 million for entities affiliated with EquipmentShare.com's founders, with the report claiming the actual amount could be substantially higher.

The report also alleged that EquipmentShare.com maintained a high-net-worth individual and family-office channel involving entities identified as EZ Equipment Zone ("EZ"), Bevel Financial ("Bevel"), and Armada Fleet Management ("Armada"). According to the report, EquipmentShare.com's OWN program allegedly directed significant fees and other payments to related parties and involved a network of affiliated entities.

Following publication of the report, EquipmentShare.com stock fell $1.58 per share, or approximately 6.62%, to close at $22.30 on June 24, 2026. The stock continued to decline on June 25, 2026, falling another $2.61 per share, or approximately 11.7%, to close at $19.69.

By the time the lawsuit commenced, EQPT had traded as low as $16.06 per share, representing a decline of more than 34.5% from the Company's $24.50 IPO price.

Who May Be Eligible to Participate in the EquipmentShare.com Class Action?

Investors who (i) purchased EquipmentShare.com Class A common stock issued in connection with the January 2026 IPO; and/or (2) purchased or otherwise acquired EquipmentShare.com securities between January 23, 2026 and June 23, 2026 may be eligible to participate in the proposed securities class action. Investors who purchased EQPT securities during the applicable period and suffered losses may have rights under the federal securities laws.

What Is the EquipmentShare.com Lead Plaintiff Deadline?

The deadline for investors seeking appointment as lead plaintiff is September 21, 2026. Over 200 Workers in New England Avert Strike, Win Strong Contract

WASHINGTON, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Members of Teamsters Local 170 and Local 633 at Bimbo Bakeries have ratified a new agreement by an overwhelming 90 percent. Earlier this month, the sales and warehouse workers authorized a strike after the company refused to offer area standards or real wage adjustments.

"Nothing is stronger than Teamsters solidarity, and our members proved it throughout negotiations with Bimbo," said Jeff Padellaro, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 633 and Director of the Teamsters Brewery, Bakery, and Soft Drink Conference. "The determination of the workforce pushed Bimbo to recognize the important contributions of the Teamsters. We have won an agreement that all members should be proud of."

"Rank-and-file Teamsters never gave up the idea that they deserved better than what they were being offered," said Shannon R. George, Secretary-Treasurer of Local 170. "Our members were prepared to strike to win what they're worth. Workers have shown Bimbo and all other employers what we can accomplish when we are a united group."

The new six-year agreement includes pension improvements, wage increases, and reduced health care costs. The contract also offers strong job security protections.

"We were tired of management taking for granted the work we do that makes Bimbo so successful," said Jason Morin, a shop steward at Bimbo Bakeries and member of Local 633. "We were ready to strike if needed and are proud that we have a secured a powerful new deal."
