ARTiSTORY's Four IAI Awards Signal a New Era for Cultural IP: From Licensing Assets to Building Global Cultural Brands

Following four honors at the 26th International Advertising Institute Awards (IAI Awards) and a debut in License Global's Top 60, ARTiSTORY is advancing a model that connects cultural heritage, brand strategy, creative storytelling and global licensing.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cultural IP is entering a new phase.

For museums, libraries, heritage organizations and cultural institutions, licensing is no longer simply about placing recognizable artworks, characters or historical imagery on products. Increasingly, the challenge is how to transform cultural assets into compelling contemporary narratives, experiences and brands - without losing the meaning and credibility that made them culturally significant in the first place.

This shift is at the heart of ARTiSTORY's growing international business.

The cultural and art IP licensing and operations company ARTiSTORY has received four honors at the 26th International Advertising Institute Awards (IAI Awards), including a Gold Award for its The British Library × CHAGEE collaboration. The Project Lead and Chief Marketing Officer of ARTiSTORY, Zoe Liang Liu, attended the ceremony to accept the awards. The recognition comes alongside ARTiSTORY's debut at No. 57 in License Global's 2026 Top Global Licensing Agents, with an estimated retail sales value of US$61 million.

For ARTiSTORY, the two recognitions represent more than industry accolades. Together, they point to an emerging model for cultural IP: one that sits at the intersection of culture, creativity, commerce and technology.

Beyond Licensing: Building Cultural Brands

"Licensing is only the beginning," says Zoe Liang Liu, CMO of ARTiSTORY.

"The greater opportunity is to build a cultural IP into a living brand - with a distinctive narrative, meaningful experiences and a system that allows it to evolve across categories and markets."

Liu has been developing this perspective through her work in cultural IP positioning, brand strategy, integrated marketing and international licensing. Her approach focuses on moving cultural IP beyond individual transactions and toward long-term brand development.

At the center of this approach is a simple but fundamental question: How can cultural heritage become relevant to contemporary audiences without becoming diluted or commodified?

ARTiSTORY addresses this through what Liu describes as a Story, Scene and System approach:

Story creates the narrative and cultural meaning.

Scene translates that narrative into products, experiences, retail environments and contemporary consumer touchpoints.

System provides the licensing, operational and technological infrastructure that allows the IP to scale sustainably.

Together, these elements create a pathway for cultural IP to move from a static asset to an evolving cultural brand.

When British Literature Meets Chinese Tea Culture

ARTiSTORY's Gold-winning The British Library × CHAGEE: Afternoon Earl Grey Fresh Milk Tea Series illustrates this approach.

The collaboration brought together CHAGEE's contemporary tea culture with the literary world of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, creating new products and pop-up experiences across Malaysia and Singapore.

Rather than using cultural imagery simply as visual decoration, the campaign established a shared narrative around tea, literature and cross-cultural connection.

It offered audiences a familiar cultural entry point while introducing Chinese tea culture to international consumers.

The project was also shortlisted for Best Licensed Promotion at the 2026 Licensing International Excellence Awards.

For ARTiSTORY, the significance lies in the mechanism behind the collaboration: cultural IP becomes more powerful when it is translated into a story that audiences can experience, participate in and carry into their everyday lives.

From Physical Experiences to Digital Infrastructure

The company is also investing in the infrastructure required to make cultural IP management more scalable.

ARTiSTORY's proprietary LIHUO IP Operation Management System received the IAI Awards' "Annual Most Valuable System Tool / Platform" recognition.

Designed around the principles of productizing cultural assets, systematizing brand development and enabling sustainable operations, the platform currently serves more than 20 cultural organizations and 40 brand partners across more than 100 licensing projects. An AI-powered agent is currently in development.

The move toward technology reflects a larger challenge facing the cultural licensing industry: as cultural IP portfolios become more complex and increasingly international, managing rights, products, partners, content and market opportunities through fragmented processes becomes difficult to scale.

For ARTiSTORY, technology is therefore not separate from cultural strategy. It is part of the infrastructure needed to turn cultural value into sustainable brand value.

Taking Cultural IP Beyond Traditional Licensing

ARTiSTORY's international expansion reflects the growing movement of cultural IP across borders.

In License Global's 2026 Top Global Licensing Agents ranking, ARTiSTORY entered the global list at No. 57, with an estimated retail sales value of US$61 million, ranking fifth among Chinese agencies.

Its portfolio and partnerships span international cultural institutions and heritage assets, including The British Library, Tate, Centre Pompidou, Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Dunhuang Inspiration and Sanxingdui Museum, among others.

The company has also expanded cultural IP into new forms of digital entertainment. In March 2026, ARTiSTORY facilitated a collaboration between The British Library and the mobile game Mr Love: Queen's Choice, integrating Shakespearean drama into interactive storytelling.

The British Library, represented by ARTiSTORY, was also shortlisted for the Newcomer Award at the 2026 Licensing International Asian Awards.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Liu sees digital entertainment as part of a broader evolution in how cultural IP can engage contemporary audiences.

"The future of cultural IP is not simply about putting heritage into more formats. It is about finding the right cultural context for each audience, and creating narratives that allow the IP to live naturally within those experiences."

"Whether it is a game, a fashion collection, a retail environment or a digital experience, the format is only the starting point. What matters is whether the cultural meaning can be translated without losing its integrity—and whether the audience can form a genuine connection with it."

For ARTiSTORY, this means approaching licensing not as the end point of an IP transaction, but as a mechanism for cultural translation - connecting heritage with new audiences, new categories and new forms of participation.

The Next Question for Cultural IP

For Zoe Liang Liu, the future of cultural licensing is ultimately a question of relevance.

"Cultural institutions hold extraordinary intellectual and creative capital," says Liu.

"The challenge is not simply how to license that capital, but how to make it meaningful to people who may encounter it for the first time through a cup of tea, a fashion collection, a retail experience, a game or a digital platform."

"That requires a different mindset. We need to think like cultural strategists, brand builders and storytellers - not only licensing professionals."

Her perspective reflects a wider transformation taking place across the industry.

As museums and cultural organizations seek new revenue models, as brands look for deeper cultural relevance, and as consumers increasingly value meaning alongside products, the space between cultural heritage and commercial creativity is becoming increasingly important.

ARTiSTORY is positioning itself within that space.

Fei Yu, General Manager of the Copyright Business Division of Sinofaith Group and Managing Partner of ARTiSTORY, said:

"ARTiSTORY shares the spirit of the 2026 International Museum Day theme, 'Museums: Bridging the World.' We are committed to helping Chinese cultural and tourism IPs and brands reach global audiences through new forms of storytelling, while creating greater brand value in the age of AI."

Building the Infrastructure for Cultural IP to Travel

ARTiSTORY's four IAI Awards span creative marketing, company recognition and technology, while its growing international licensing business demonstrates the commercial potential of cultural IP beyond its original institutional context.

The company's ambition is not simply to create more licensed products.

It is to build the stories, experiences and systems that allow cultural IP to travel-across borders, industries and generations.

As cultural institutions increasingly engage with global brands and new forms of technology, ARTiSTORY believes the next generation of cultural IP will be defined not by how many licensing deals it can generate, but by how effectively it can create lasting cultural relevance and sustainable brand value.

At the intersection of culture, creativity and commerce, that may be the next chapter of global licensing.

About ARTiSTORY

ARTiSTORY is a cultural and art IP licensing and operations company focused on transforming cultural assets into sustainable brand value. The company works with museums, cultural institutions, heritage organizations and brands to develop IP strategies, licensing programs, brand collaborations, cultural experiences and digital solutions. With a growing portfolio of international cultural IP and partnerships across markets, ARTiSTORY aims to create new connections between cultural heritage and contemporary consumer culture-helping cultural IP reach new audiences while building long-term cultural and commercial value.

HANOI, Vietnam, Sept. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- VinFast and GSM today officially announced new leadership appointments, succeeding Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong and Ms. Pham Thu Huong in senior global leadership roles. Accordingly, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh, currently Chairman of VinFast Global, will concurrently assume the position of CEO of VinFast Global, succeeding Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, while also taking on the roles of Chairman and CEO of VinFast Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan will assume the position of Chairman of GSM Global, succeeding Ms. Pham Thu Huong, while Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang will become CEO of GSM Global and concurrently CEO of GSM Vietnam.

The strengthening of the senior leadership teams at VinFast and GSM comes as Vingroup and companies across its ecosystem accelerate the training and development of in-house talent and transition leadership responsibilities to a younger generation of leaders, in line with the needs and growth trajectory of the system. In particular, both VinFast and GSM are entering a period of strong and decisive growth on a global scale.

Prior to assuming the position of Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Global from Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh was appointed Chairman of VinFast Global in May 2026. With his official assumption of the positions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Global, as well as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Vietnam, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh will hold ultimate and comprehensive responsibility for all of VinFast's operations as the company enters a new phase of growth.

Following his official appointment, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh commented: "I am deeply honored by the Board of Directors' trust and confidence in entrusting me with the additional responsibility. Built on a strong foundation established over the years and supported by the growing confidence of customers across our markets, VinFast is well positioned to seize the significant opportunities ahead and further strengthen its role in advancing the global transition to sustainable mobility. I am committed to working closely with our talented team to uphold VinFast's core values and continue delivering world-class products and the highest standards of service to customers around the world."

Born in 1993, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh holds a Bachelor's degree from Singapore Management University and has held several key leadership positions at VinFast and other companies within the Vingroup ecosystem before being appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of VinFast Auto Ltd. in May 2026. With extensive cross-sector management experience and a strategic operational mindset, he has made significant contributions to VinFast's development, from building its foundation in the domestic market to expanding its presence internationally.

In addition to his senior leadership responsibilities at VinFast, Mr. Pham Nhat Quan Anh will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer of VinMetal Trading and Production JSC, a high-quality steel manufacturer within the Vingroup ecosystem.

At GSM, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan, currently Chief Executive Officer of GSM Global, has been appointed Chairman of GSM Global, succeeding Ms. Pham Thu Huong. Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang will succeed Mr. Tuan as Chief Executive Officer of GSM Global and concurrently assume the position of Chief Executive Officer of GSM Vietnam.

Born in 2000, Mr. Pham Nhat Minh Hoang has held senior leadership positions at VinFast, Green Future, VinSmart Future, GSM and other companies. In addition to his management responsibilities, he has directly invested in and serves as a major shareholder of several industrial, technology, energy and infrastructure companies within the Vingroup ecosystem, including VinSpeed, VinEnergo, VinMetal, VinVentures and robotics companies.

VinFast currently has a presence in 16 countries worldwide, including key markets such as Vietnam, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Europe, the Middle East and North America. VinFast electric cars and electric motorcycles are currently manufactured at four facilities across three countries: Vietnam, Indonesia and India.

Alongside VinFast, GSM operates its green mobility brand, Green SM. The company currently operates in seven countries, including Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Kazakhstan and Denmark, and plans to expand into at least three additional markets within this year. GSM is also targeting a transition into a globally scaled public company with its shares listed on an international stock exchange.

The appointment of senior leadership is of particular importance, not only in addressing the more demanding requirements of the companies' next phase of development, but also reflecting positive expectations for the future of VinFast and GSM as they continue their expansion into international markets.

About the Lawsuit

HDFC and certain of its executives are charged with failing to disclose material information during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.

On May 27, 2026, pre-market, The Indian Express reported that HDFC Bank had disguised crores of rupees as marketing expenditures in order to pay above-market interest rates to a state-owned enterprise. According to the article, the Company secretly funneled roughly Rs 45 crore (about $4.7 million) to the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation ("MSRDC") to encourage MSRDC to place substantial deposits with the bank. HDFC Bank offered MSRDC a 6.01% interest rate — 2.51 percentage points above what it paid other depositors — and covered that premium by characterizing the payments as sponsorship of an MSRDC road safety awareness initiative. The article further reported that an internal investigation conducted in March and April 2026 found more than ten senior officials responsible for the scheme, including CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan.

On this news, the price of HDFC shares fell $1.02, or 4.1%, to close at $23.78 per share

on May 27, 2026, on unusually heavy trading volume.

MOAB, Utah, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mud Springs Trail System, a new mountain biking destination near Moab, has officially opened in San Juan County, bringing miles of purpose-built trails for youth racing, adaptive cycling, families and riders of varying abilities.

The opening coincided with the first Utah High School Cycling League race weekend at Mud Springs, bringing more than 1,100 youth mountain bikers to the area.

Mud Springs features fast, flowy, machine-built trails with bermed turns. Phase 1 will total approximately 11 miles, including seven miles of beginner- and intermediate-level trails constructed last fall and approximately 3.5 additional miles of intermediate- and advanced-level trails expected to be completed this season.

"Moab is known around the world for mountain biking, and Mud Springs gives riders another way to experience what makes this area so special," said Michael Soleta, director of the Moab Office of Tourism. "With incredible views of the La Sal Mountains and trails designed for a range of riders, Mud Springs complements experiences like Slickrock and The Whole Enchilada while adding another accessible option for families, adaptive cyclists and those newer to the sport. It's an exciting addition to the world-class riding experiences that continue to make Moab a bucket-list mountain biking destination."

Mud Springs adds to the Moab area's extensive network of mountain biking experiences, from renowned rides like Slickrock and The Whole Enchilada to beginner- and intermediate-friendly options including the Moab Brands trail system, Klonzo and Dead Horse Point State Park. Local bike shops, guides, rental providers and shuttle services further make the area's trail systems accessible to visitors with a range of experience levels.

In addition to recreational riding, Mud Springs was designed to accommodate future youth and adult mountain biking races, adaptive cycling competitions and running events. The trail system will see a return of the Utah High School Cycling League when they return on Sept. 26 and host its Region 3 race. The event will mark the first league race held in Moab since 2022 and the first competition on a full adaptive course at Mud Springs.

Accessibility was incorporated into the trail development process. The National Ability Center provided handcycles for trail staff to ride during training, giving them firsthand experience with how adaptive equipment interacts with trail features.

The Sept. 11 celebration included remarks and a ceremonial ribbon cutting, followed by a course pre-ride by Utah High School Cycling League athletes.

Mud Springs is now open to the public, expanding mountain biking opportunities in the greater Moab area for riders of varying ages and abilities.

PerZeption Awarded NEI Phase 1 SBIR Grant for Age-related Macular Degeneration Study

PerZeption Awarded NEI Phase 1 SBIR Grant for Age-related Macular Degeneration Study

BOSTON, Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- PerZeption Inc. has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Eye Institute (NEI) for the project "Efficient Achromatic and Chromatic Photostress Recovery Assessment for Age-related Macular Degeneration." The study will be performed in collaboration with researchers at the Brunson Center for Translational Vision Research at the University of California, Irvine.

How quickly vision recovers after bright light exposure is a sensitive indicator of macular health, capable of revealing functional deficits before they are apparent on standard acuity testing in patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Conventional testing reduces this process to a single recovery time, requires specialized equipment and trained staff, and is therefore not widely adopted. The funded work will develop an efficient achromatic and chromatic test on PerZeption's Angular Indication Measurement (AIM) platform that characterizes the full recovery function rather than a single threshold, yielding a richer description of macular health in a format suited to routine clinical use.

"An estimated 20 million people live with AMD in the United States alone. Detecting functional deficits caused by the disease early is a critical issue in eye care," said Jan Skerswetat, PhD, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PerZeption. "We are grateful to the NEI for recognizing the potential of our technology to support earlier detection of vision loss in these patients."

Because SBIR awards are peer-reviewed by vision scientists and clinicians, this selection indicates that the AIM platform addresses a recognized clinical need. The award follows validation studies of AIM tests across a range of visual functions and patient populations, published in journals including Investigative Ophthalmology & Visual Science, Optometry and Vision Science, and — earlier this month — Scientific Reports. The Phase I project will generate the clinical data required to establish feasibility and support the company's regulatory pathway, with the objective of providing eye care providers a fast, repeatable, sensitive, and quantitative measure of macular function that fits within routine clinical workflow.

About PerZeption

PerZeption Inc. develops rapid, self-administered, adaptive psychophysical vision assessment that builds personalized performance models, delivered as a cloud-based application on standard tablets, phones, and all-in-one computers. Its flagship platform, Angular Indication Measurement (AIM), enables testing of more than 20 visual functions, including measures for which no commercial device is currently available. By consolidating testing onto a single self-administered platform, PerZeption's technology reduces chair time and staff burden relative to bulky, single-purpose instruments, and requires minimal training or dedicated space. Cloud delivery supports secure in-clinic and remote testing with consistent, trackable results for clinicians, researchers, and pharmaceutical sponsors. Detailed information on the AIM platform and the company's clinical research is available at perzeption.vision.
