Best Prenatal Vitamin with Choline (2026): Needed Recognized for Delivering 200 mg of Choline by Expert Consumers

NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Expert Consumers has recognized Needed in a 2026 review of the best prenatal vitamin with choline, highlighting a clearly disclosed 200 mg choline dose across capsule and powder formats.

Best Prenatal Vitamin with Choline:

- Needed - provides capsule and powder prenatal multivitamins with 200 mg of choline per daily serving, along with Prenatal Multi Gummy, a 17-nutrient formula.

The recognition focuses on nutrient transparency and routine flexibility. Prenatal Multivitamin Capsules provide 22 nutrients in three capsules per day. Prenatal Multivitamin Powder provides the same formula in one scoop of vanilla-flavored powder. Each format contains 200 mg of choline per serving.

Prenatal Multi Gummy provides 17 nutrients in a three-gummy daily serving and comes in Orange Pineapple Passionfruit and Strawberry Banana flavors. The gummy formula is positioned for periods when capsules and powder are not practical options.

Choline Remains an Important Prenatal Consideration

Choline is an essential nutrient involved in cell membrane structure, neurotransmitter production, and early brain and nervous system development*. Choline needs are higher during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

The National Institutes of Health Office of Dietary Supplements lists an adequate intake of 450 mg per day during pregnancy and 550 mg during lactation. NIH guidance also notes that prenatal supplements often contain little or no choline. Food sources include eggs, meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, soybeans, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and whole grains.

A 200 mg daily serving represents about 44% of the adequate intake during pregnancy and about 36% during lactation. The amount does not cover the full daily target. Instead, the dose contributes to total intake alongside food and individualized recommendations from a qualified healthcare practitioner.

The 200 mg figure applies to Prenatal Multivitamin Capsules and Prenatal Multivitamin Powder. The gummy is a distinct 17-nutrient formula, so the capsule and powder specification should not be assumed to apply.

Three Formats Address Different Daily Routines

Prenatal Multivitamin Capsules are designed around a three-capsule daily serving. Needed recommends taking the capsules with food, ideally in the morning or at lunch. The serving can also be divided between meals.

Prenatal Multivitamin Powder delivers the same core formula in one scoop. The vanilla-flavored powder can be blended into milk, a milk alternative, smoothies, or oatmeal. Product directions advise against mixing the powder into hot food or beverages. The powder should be taken with food rather than on an empty stomach.

Prenatal Multi Gummies adds a chewable format to the range. The three-gummy serving contains 17 nutrients and comes in Orange Pineapple Passionfruit and Strawberry Banana flavors. The format is intended for situations involving nausea, pill fatigue, or difficulty maintaining capsule and powder routines.

Needed states that the gummy formula provides four times more nutrition than the average of leading prenatals§, including capsules. The comparison differs from the capsules and powder, which is eight times more nutrition than the average of leading prenatals.†

The Prenatal Multi Range Extends Beyond Choline

Choline is the featured nutrient in the review, but the capsule and powder formulas contain 22 nutrients. The profile includes Optifolin+ methylfolate, two forms of active vitamin B12, active vitamin B6, vitamin D3, selenium, zinc, magnesium, iodine, and other micronutrients.

Needed describes the nutrient levels as clinically informed and selected with input from women's health practitioners. The formulas are designed for use during preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum rather than requiring a different prenatal for every trimester.

The capsule and powder products provide eight times more nutrition than the average of leading prenatal products.† The comparison measures the average amount of vitamins and minerals in a daily serving relative to pregnancy Recommended Dietary Allowances.

The gummy serving contains 17 nutrients and uses a separate four-times-more-nutrition comparison.§ The distinct specification broadens format choice without suggesting nutritional equivalence with the 22-nutrient formulas.

Separate Iron and Omega-3 Support Individualized Planning

Iron and omega-3 are not included in the Prenatal Multi formulas. Needed offers both nutrients separately as a deliberate part of the formula structure.

Needed recommends taking iron apart from the multivitamin because iron can compete with certain minerals for absorption. Separate dosing allows iron intake to reflect individual needs and bloodwork.

Omega-3 is offered separately at a dedicated dose and is intended for use with a meal containing fat. The structure provides more control over each nutrient, although a complete prenatal routine may involve more than one product.

Food intake, bloodwork, medications, medical history, and professional guidance can shape a prenatal plan. A qualified healthcare practitioner should review supplement use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Research, Testing, and Manufacturing Standards

Needed reports that the Prenatal Multi range is backed by an IRB-approved clinical study involving 235 pregnant women. More than 20,000 women's health practitioners recommend Needed, according to company materials. Every ingredient is vetted by perinatal experts and third-party tested for purity and potency.

Each batch passes more than 2,000 quality checkpoints, from raw material qualification through finished product release. Manufacturing takes place in the United States in GMP-certified facilities.

Prenatal Multivitamin Capsules and Prenatal Multivitamin Powder have received Clean Label Project's Purity and Pesticide-Free awards. Both formats contain 22 nutrients and provide 200 mg of choline per daily serving.

Prenatal Multi Gummies provides a three-gummy serving containing 17 nutrients and comes in Orange Pineapple Passionfruit and Strawberry Banana flavors.

The Expert Consumers review recognizes Needed for providing 200 mg of choline through Prenatal Multivitamin Capsules and Prenatal Multivitamin Powder while supporting different routine preferences. Prenatal Multi Gummy broadens the range with a chewable option while maintaining clear distinctions among the three formulas.

More About Needed and Needed Labs

Needed is a women's nutritional supplement company founded by two mothers and trained nutritionists who discovered firsthand that women are nutritionally depleted at the most critical moments of their lives, including during pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause. Its formulations are developed in collaboration with clinicians and researchers and designed to reflect modern research around women's actual nutritional needs.

Most perinatal supplements adhere to the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA), which represents bare minimum nutrient levels needed to avoid a disease condition rather than optimal nutrition. Much of the supporting research excludes pregnant or lactating women and lacks racial and ethnic diversity. These outdated research practices, combined with a lag between research and product development, have led to a crisis in which women's optimal nutritional needs in their childbearing years, pregnancy and postpartum are not widely accepted or addressed.

Needed Labs aims to revolutionize maternal and infant health through pioneering research challenging prevailing norms. We're launching a unique study on women's nutritional status during pregnancy and advancing an integrative Nutritional Care™ model, proven to drastically reduce preterm birth, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes rates compared to national averages.

Needed is a Certified B-Corp, 1% for the Planet member, and Climate Neutral-Certified. Learn more at thisisneeded.com.

Cardiol Therapeutics Achieves Phase III MAVERIC Enrollment Target Ahead of Schedule and Expands Pivotal Trial to Strengthen Assessment of CardiolRx™'s Efficacy
Image File
Original HTML

- Original 110-patient enrollment target achieved ahead of the Company's end-of-September guidance.

- The MAVERIC Steering Committee recommends expanding enrollment to up to 150 patients to capture sufficient events for a robust assessment of CardiolRx™'s potential to reduce recurrence risk. The recommendation follows a blinded review showing fewer-than-expected recurrences—an observation the Company views as encouraging.

- Topline results anticipated in mid-2027 following expanded enrollment and study completion.

- Existing capital expected to fund MAVERIC completion, with cash runway into Q1 2028.

TORONTO, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cardiol Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: CRDL) (TSX: CRDL) ("Cardiol" or the "Company"), a late-stage life sciences company advancing anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic therapies for heart disease, is pleased to announce enrollment progress and plans to expand MAVERIC, the Company's pivotal Phase III randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center trial evaluating CardiolRx™ for the reduction in risk of recurrence in patients with recurrent pericarditis. As of September 23, 2026, 110 patients have been enrolled in MAVERIC, achieving the Company's original recruitment target ahead of its end-of-September guidance.

"A blinded review of events in MAVERIC patients who have been randomized 1:1 to either CardiolRx™ or placebo shows a lower level of pericarditis recurrence than anticipated, an observation we view as encouraging, particularly as we are not aware of changes in routine clinical practice that would explain this finding," said David Elsley, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cardiol Therapeutics.

"Our planned enrollment expansion is designed to support the event count needed to preserve the trial's planned statistical power and deliver a more robust assessment of CardiolRx™'s efficacy. Topline results are now anticipated in mid-2027, compared with our previous Q1 2027 guidance. With our cash runway extending into Q1 2028, we are in a strong position to complete MAVERIC and deliver this important clinical readout."

In alignment with the primary endpoint used in the pivotal trial of the only FDA-approved therapy for recurrent pericarditis, MAVERIC's primary efficacy analysis will assess time to a first new episode of pericarditis recurrence. This analysis will evaluate the ability of CardiolRx™ to delay or prevent recurrence over time. The proportion of patients free from a new episode of recurrent pericarditis at the end of the study will be assessed as a secondary endpoint.

About Cardiol Therapeutics

Cardiol Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: CRDL) (TSX: CRDL) is a late-stage life sciences company focused on advancing the development of anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic therapies for heart disease. The Company's lead small-molecule drug candidate, CardiolRx™, modulates inflammasome pathway activation, an intracellular innate immune system response known to play an important role in the development and progression of inflammation and fibrosis associated with pericarditis, myocarditis, and heart failure.

The MAVERIC Program is evaluating CardiolRx™ for the treatment of recurrent pericarditis, an inflammatory disease of the pericardium associated with symptoms including debilitating chest pain, shortness of breath, and fatigue, which can lead to physical limitations, reduced quality of life, emergency department visits, and hospitalizations. The program comprises the completed Phase II MAvERIC-Pilot study (NCT05494788) and the ongoing pivotal Phase III MAVERIC trial (NCT06708299). The U.S. FDA has granted Orphan Drug Designation to CardiolRx™ for the treatment of pericarditis, including recurrent pericarditis.

The ARCHER Program also studied CardiolRx™, specifically in acute myocarditis—an important cause of acute and fulminant heart failure in young adults and a leading cause of sudden cardiac death in individuals under 35 years of age. The program comprises the completed Phase II ARCHER study (NCT05180240), which evaluated the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of CardiolRx™ in this patient population.

The Company is also developing CRD-38, a novel, subcutaneously administered drug formulation intended for the treatment of inflammatory heart disease, including heart failure—a leading cause of death and hospitalization in the developed world, with associated healthcare costs in the United States exceeding US$30 billion per year.

New partnerships with Acrisure Mortgage in the east and Alta Home Lending in the west align DRB's premier home product offering with a customer-centric mortgage process.

GAITHERSBURG, Md., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DRB Group today announced the planned January 2027 launch of two mortgage joint ventures to strengthen and expand the company's customer offering across its DRB Homes' national footprint: DRB Mortgage, in partnership with Acrisure Mortgage in the east, and DRB Home Loans, in partnership with Alta Home Lending in the west.

The initiative reflects the vision of DRB Group President and Chief Executive Officer, Ronny Salameh, to pair DRB's high-quality builder brands: DRB Homes and DRB Elevate 55+ with a mortgage experience built around transparency, execution, and customer care. As DRB Group continues to grow, the company is focused on ensuring buyers have access to a streamlined financing process that supports a seamless journey from contract to closing.

To lead this effort, Salameh appointed Matthew Wolf, senior vice president of Financial Services for DRB Group, to develop a mortgage strategy that would deliver the strongest possible customer experience. Wolf, a long-tenured mortgage professional who joined DRB Group after a successful career with a top 5 national builder, led a comprehensive search to identify partners with proven operational strength, local market knowledge, and a shared commitment to serving homebuyers at the highest level.

"Our goal is simple: to combine the strength of DRB's homebuilding platform with mortgage partners that understand our customers, our markets, and the importance of consistent execution," said Ronny Salameh, President and CEO of DRB Group. "These joint ventures are an important step in delivering a more integrated, customer-focused homebuying experience."

The joint ventures are also expected to create day-to-day alignment between the sales consultants and dedicated mortgage loan officers. By working more synergistically together from the earliest stages of the buyer journey, sales and mortgage teams will be better positioned to educate customers, identify financing solutions, remove friction, and support higher conversion through a more coordinated homebuying experience.

Senior Vice President of Financial Services, Matthew Wolf commented, "We approached this search with a clear mandate: select partners who could help our operations provide a best-in-class mortgage experience, and we look forward to a successful launch in January 2027."

Edsby Forms & Workflows Brings Purpose-Built Digital Approvals to K‑12

New system digitizes even the most complex K‑12 paperwork, including multi-level field trip workflows

RICHMOND HILL, ON, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Edsby®, a multi-award-winning, next-generation K‑12 digital learning platform, today introduced Edsby Forms & Workflows, a new option that automates the most complex K‑12 paperwork, including forms that require audited parent or student sign-off. It is available now to K-12 organizations.

Most school districts still rely on paper for parent and student-facing forms such as permission slips, photo releases, medical disclosures and code of conduct sign offs. The result is lost time, incomplete records, compliance risk and no reliable way to know what has been returned. Edsby Forms & Workflows replaces those processes with digital forms, multi-level approvals and legally valid signatures built specifically for how K‑12 schools and districts operate.

Built for K-12, not business

Unlike generic e-signature tools adapted from corporate workflows, Edsby routes forms through real district approval hierarchies and gives teachers, schools and district leaders real-time visibility into who has responded and who has not. Because the platform already knows which adults are responsible for which students and connects to existing student records, class rosters and parent contacts, forms inherit the right permissions and recipients automatically, with no duplicate data entry. Role-based access and data governance are built into the platform rather than added separately.

Edsby digitizes the entire lifecycle of a complex activity, like a field trip, from a teacher's proposal through principal and district approval, parent permission and real-time student check-in to and from the destination. Every step is captured with digital signatures and timestamps for an auditable record, and QR-code check-ins keep students accounted for throughout the trip.

Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board, an Ontario district serving 34,000 students that has used Edsby since 2014, is among the first to deploy Forms & Workflows, using it to modernize field trip permissions.

"KPRDSB explored several forms and approval management solutions with multiple vendors as we looked to digitize our field trip processes. Edsby stood out through its willingness to collaborate with us and develop a solution tailored to our unique workflow and approval requirements," said Owen McIntosh, Information Technology Manager, Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. "We also see a great deal of potential beyond field trips and look forward to exploring additional ways Forms & Workflows can help digitize, simplify, and enhance processes across our school board."

Edsby fosters student success and manages K‑12 data responsibly worldwide across wide swaths of the world, including much of Canada. It is licensed as a national platform in New Zealand and the country of Georgia.

About Edsby

The unique needs of K-12 education are hard to meet with conventional technologies. Edsby's innovative software systems have been fostering student success and leveraging data responsibly in K-12 worldwide since 2010. Districts, regional governments and independent schools use Edsby for modern K-12 assessment & reporting, family engagement, personalized learning and analytics. Edsby and its products have received more than 90 industry awards and distinctions. Learn more at https://www.edsby.com/.

Back Market Calls For Legally Mandated 10-Year Device Standard With Launch of 'Mine My Phone' a New Platform Exposing The Hidden Costs of Smartphone Extraction
Image File
Original HTML

Coalition call anchors on global platform revealing the hidden extraction costs behind every smartphone device

PARIS and NEW YORK, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Do you know how heavy your phone truly is? A 200-gram smartphone requires more than 266 kilograms of raw materials extraction. At a global scale, more than 319 million tons1 of upstream materials are extracted annually to manufacture the world's smartphones alone, the equivalent of more than 900 Empire State Buildings'2 worth of material each year.

That extraction is compounded by a typical 2- to 2.5-year upgrade cycle. Today, Back Market is calling for a legally mandated 10-year device standard - covering durability, repairability and long-term software support - as a key effective lever to reduce the extraction demand driving these costs. Keeping a smartphone in productive use for 10 years instead of 2.5 years can avoid approximately 757 kilograms of raw material extraction per device3.

Research4 suggests that once people understand what's behind their technology, it changes how they think about what they buy, and how long they expect it to last.

To build that understanding at scale, Back Market has launched Mine My Phone (www.minemyphone.com), a public interest platform revealing the environmental, human and geopolitical costs behind modern devices - think Patagonia's Footprint Chronicles, but built towards a single outcome: public and regulatory support for a 10-year device standard.

The hidden costs of devices

Access to critical minerals is increasingly shaping international relations, trade policy and territorial security disputes, as nations compete to secure supply chains for the technologies of the future.

Every smartphone device carries an extraction footprint that is rarely visible to the people who buy it:

- A 200-gram smartphone requires more than 266 kilograms of raw material extraction1.

- Globally, more than 319 million tons of upstream materials are extracted annually to manufacture smartphones1.

- Up to 80% of a smartphone's lifetime carbon footprint occurs before it's ever switched on5.

- Children as young as six have been found in artisanal mines sourcing critical minerals to the tech supply chain6.

- Up to 1.4 billion people7 are at risk for diseases due to toxic metal pollution, with 23 million people8 alone exposed to cancer-causing levels of toxic waste.

The awareness gap

The Smartphone Extraction Gap Report4, a global consumer research commissioned by Back Market and conducted by independent research agency Opinium, surveyed 6,000 consumers across France, UK, Germany, USA, Spain and Japan to understand what people know - and don't know - about what goes into their devices.

Key findings:

- More than half of respondents cannot name a single raw material inside their smartphone.

- Only one in four feels confident they know what goes into a device.

- Seven in ten have never investigated where the materials in their devices come from

- When learning that more than 200 suppliers are involved in a smartphone's journey from extraction to finished product, 38% reported shock and 26% worry.

- Sixty-six percent of consumers globally support legislation requiring devices to remain durable, repairable and software-supported for at least 10 years.

- Seven in ten say evidence of child labor in a supply chain would impact their purchasing decisions.

- When informed that a single refurbished phone avoids approximately 243 kilograms3 of raw material extraction compared to manufacturing new, 49%4 said they would be more likely to buy refurbished.

Mine My Phone: A public reference empowering citizens

Mine My Phone (www.minemyphone.com) is a public-interest educational platform created in collaboration with an international panel of experts, scientists, independent researchers and contributors. Bringing together data, expert commentary and in-depth reporting on the extraction economy behind consumer technology, it reveals the environmental, human and geopolitical impacts of the critical mineral extraction required to make our devices. The platform is designed as a public reference point to help people understand what lies behind their tech, make informed choices and act as empowered citizens.

"Citizens cannot make informed choices or push for regulation if they lack access to information about what happens before a device reaches their hands," said Thibaud Hug de Larauze, Executive Chairman of Back Market. "This is fundamentally a transparency problem. We hope that Mine My Phone becomes a reference citizens use to understand what's behind their device, and a starting point for public and regulatory debate."

Longevity as the lever: a 10-year device standard

Achieving a 10-year device standard requires coordinated action across three groups, not any single company:

- Manufacturers must design durable devices to last, with 10-year software support and accessible, replaceable parts

- Policymakers must enforce Right to Repair and prohibit design practices that artificially shorten devices' lifespans

- Circular economy actors must expand trusted, verified refurbishment at scale

"If extraction is the cost of technology, longevity is the lever," said Marie Castelli, Head of Sustainability & Public Affairs at Back Market. "No single company can create the 10-year device. It requires manufacturers to design differently, policymakers to legislate differently, and consumers to think differently about the technology they own."

Regulatory momentum across markets

Back Market is supporting device longevity legislation across its core markets:

- European Union: calling for repair and reuse to be prioritized in future circular economy law.

- United Kingdom: securing parliamentary debate on smartphone upgrade cycles.

- United States: supporting state-level right to repair that reframes device control legislation requiring manufacturers to provide repair documentation, parts, tools and updates available to owners and independent repair providers on fair and reasonable terms.

Building the coalition

No single company can mandate a 10-year device standard alone. Back Market is convening a coalition of manufacturers, policymakers and circular economy actors to advance their ambition, with founding partners to be announced ahead of Slow Tech Summit in Paris on October 15, where the coalition takes its first public shape.

Slow Tech Summit - Paris, October 15, 2026

Back Market will convene a full day of panels, workshops, and an exhibition revealing the extraction journey of new devices and the case for longevity, building the coalition for the 10-year device standard.

Shanghai Electric Presents Three Energy Transition Solutions at Enlit Asia 2026

Supporting power-sector decarbonization, grid resilience, and low-carbon fuels across ASEAN

JAKARTA, Indonesia, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shanghai Electric (SEHK: 02727, SSE: 601727) showcased three energy transition solutions under the theme "Powering the Archipelago" at Enlit Asia 2026, held Sept. 22-24 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

As the premier annual platform for the ASEAN power sector, Enlit Asia attracts more than 11,000 attendees and 280 exhibitors, bringing together industry leaders, policymakers and innovators to explore advances, share insights and shape the region's energy future.

Three Solutions for ASEAN's Energy Transition

Tailored to the ASEAN market, the three solutions address key regional energy transition needs, including reducing carbon emissions from existing thermal power systems, enhancing renewable energy integration and stable operation of island grids, and providing low-carbon fuels for the shipping and aviation industries.

The High-Efficiency Power & Decarbonization solution is designed to help markets like Indonesia reduce power-system carbon intensity, spanning unit upgrades, fuel transition, and system optimization. Modular steam turbines for H- and F-class combined-cycle systems meet both power and heating needs while improving efficiency and reducing overall costs. Heavy-duty gas turbines can operate with up to 30% hydrogen blending, and coal-fired power retrofit solutions improve thermal efficiency and reduce coal consumption for lower-carbon operation.

The Grid Modernization & Resilience Upgrade solution addresses island-grid challenges in renewable energy integration, frequency regulation and voltage stability. It combines synchronous condensers, flywheels, multi-technology energy storage and integrated solar-storage power pods. Synchronous condensers and flywheels deliver rapid frequency response and inertia support; multi-technology storage covers short- to long-duration applications; and the power pods provide plug-and-play clean emergency power for remote areas and critical loads.

Building on the Jilin Taonan project, the full-chain Power-to-X Integrated Solutions cover wind and solar generation, green hydrogen, biomass gasification, and green methanol synthesis. The project has completed 8,000 tons of green methanol bunkering, a global single-bunkering record. Phase II, launched on August 20, 2026, targets 200,000 tons of green methanol and 10,000 tons of sustainable aviation fuel annually. Shanghai Electric is now extending these solutions to ASEAN's shipping and aviation markets to support low-carbon fuel supply and shipping decarbonization.

Local Presence, Regional Impact

Shanghai Electric's technologies and system solutions are supported by an established regional track record. Its energy equipment and services are deployed in Southeast Asian markets including Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, with representative projects such as the Indonesia Pelabuhan Ratu 3 x 350 MW Coal-fired Power Station Project, the renewable energy plant in Selangor, Malaysia, and the recent Samalaju 500 MW-class combined-cycle gas power project in Sarawak, Malaysia.

These projects demonstrate the company's integrated capabilities across traditional power upgrades, high-efficiency gas generation, renewable energy, and green fuels—laying a foundation for the three solutions' further application in ASEAN.

During Enlit Asia 2026, Shanghai Electric also participated in the official conference agenda, delivering a technical presentation titled "Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine Technology for Clean, Efficient, and Smart Power Generation," outlining its technology roadmap and regionally adapted solutions in heavy-duty gas turbines and combined-cycle systems. The company also hosted multiple roadshows and exchange activities, inviting representatives from PLN, Indonesia's national electricity company, local customers, and academics in the energy sector to discuss fuel diversification and the development of Indonesia's power system.

Looking ahead, Shanghai Electric will continue to draw on its energy equipment manufacturing and system solution capabilities to work with ASEAN partners and support the transition to more efficient, stable and lower-carbon energy systems across Southeast Asia.

Morphy Richards Brings Fresh Vision to Its 90-Year Legacy at IFA Berlin 2026

BERLIN, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Morphy Richards, the British small appliance brand celebrating its 90th anniversary, concluded a successful appearance at IFA Berlin 2026 with innovations across Kitchen Solutions and Air Treatment. At IFA, the brand presented its Smart Ideas philosophy: ideas shaped by observation of everyday life and translated into products that improve how people cook, live, and feel at home. The showcase connected Morphy Richards' kitchen heritage with a broader vision for modern home living. This direction was reinforced by recognition: the D1 Ultra Dehumidifier was named an Honoree in the Best in Design category of the IFA Innovation Awards, while the Ductless Portable Air Conditioner S1 Pro received Best of IFA 2026 awards from HOMECRUX and Gadget Review.

The IFA Innovation Awards are selected by an international jury and recognize outstanding innovation, design, and engineering. Designed to support year-round indoor comfort and air management, the award-winning D1 Ultra demonstrates how Morphy Richards is applying its consumer-focused design approach to new categories that address evolving lifestyle needs.

Throughout the exhibition, Morphy Richards attracted strong interest from media, retail partners, distributors, creators, and consumers. The response reflected growing attention to the brand's expanded product portfolio and its continued exploration of modern home living scenarios. Media coverage from HOMECRUX further highlighted S1 Pro as one of the standout products at the show.

The S1 Pro stands out for its hose-free design that eliminates the need for traditional exhaust-hose installation. Combining air conditioning, fan, and dehumidification functions, it offers flexible cooling for modern living spaces. Morphy Richards also showcased S1 Lite, a more compact model featuring the same plug-and-play, ductless approach. Together, the company's air treatment portfolio reflected growing demand for intelligent and flexible home cooling solutions.

The response at IFA reflected strong appreciation for Morphy Richards' 90-year legacy and continued relevance. Interest from media, business partners, and consumers highlighted the appeal of seeing a long-established brand apply its Smart Ideas philosophy to new categories and everyday living scenarios.

Beyond air treatment, Morphy Richards brought fresh energy to its kitchen heritage with modern appliances shaped by its Chinese and British design teams. From the Fusion Kettle and Toaster to the InfuseChill Flavored Ice Maker, Coffee Machine, and new Clay and Cassini collections, the lineup combined contemporary aesthetics with thoughtful functionality, reinforcing the kitchen as a core part of the brand's home living story.

Founded in 1936, Morphy Richards is celebrating its 90th anniversary under the theme "Forged by Time. Inspired by Tomorrow." IFA Berlin 2026 marked a milestone for the brand, showcasing how its Smart Ideas philosophy continues to evolve through the ideas and perspectives of its international teams.
