LAS VEGAS, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- EZ Elephant to Showcase Innovative Gutter Maintenance Solution at Western Roofing Expo 2026

American-made system helps users clear gutter debris from the ground while eliminating ladder use, Booth #834

EZ Elephant, an innovative gutter maintenance solution designed to make routine cleaning safer and more convenient, will be showcased at the Western Roofing Expo, taking place September 27–29, 2026. Attendees can visit Booth #834 to meet the EZ Elephant team, see how the product works, and discuss potential retail and distribution opportunities.

Clogged gutters can contribute to water damage and costly repairs, but traditional gutter cleaning methods are often messy, time-consuming, and dependent on ladders or professional services. EZ Elephant was developed to provide homeowners and property professionals with a practical way to remove leaves and debris while remaining safely on the ground.

"Gutter maintenance is necessary, but it should not require homeowners to repeatedly put themselves at risk on a ladder," said Nicole and Gregg Howell, Founders of EZ Elephant. "We created EZ Elephant to make the process safer, simpler, and more manageable while giving people more time to enjoy their homes and less time maintaining them."

EZ Elephant features an extended-reach design with adjustable angles to provide easier access to gutters. Its Elephant Clip allows the attached gutter screen to tilt so accumulated leaves and debris can fall away. The simple "Hook, Flip, Clean" process takes only minutes and can be repeated whenever maintenance is needed.

Designed for convenience and ease of use, EZ Elephant helps eliminates the need for ladders, harsh chemicals, and frequent professional cleaning services. The system provides a cost-effective approach to routine gutter care while supporting safer home and property maintenance.

Attendees of the Western Roofing Expo can visit Booth #834 from September 27–29 to experience EZ Elephant firsthand and learn more about how the product can support homeowners, roofing professionals, retailers, distributors, and other industry partners.

EZ Elephant is supported by Ideal Strategic Partners, a venture development firm that works alongside founder-led consumer product companies to bring practical innovations to market. Through operational support, go-to-market strategy, and retail positioning, ISP helps brands like EZ Elephant prepare for scalable growth.

"EZ Elephant addresses a common maintenance problem with a straightforward solution focused on safety and convenience," said Scott Moffatt, CEO of Ideal Strategic Partners. "It is the kind of practical innovation that immediately communicates its value to consumers and retail partners."

Janie and Jack Taps Louise Roe for Fall Edit Following London Expansion

Original HTML

The British fashion journalist, founder and mother of two curates 12 fall looks for Janie and Jack, bringing English country style to the American childrenswear house as it expands in the UK

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- When Louise Roe brought her first daughter home from the hospital in Los Angeles, she dressed her in Janie and Jack. Years later, that first family memory has come full circle. Roe, a British fashion journalist and mother of two whose career spans over a decade of style coverage across the U.S. and UK, has been tapped by Janie and Jack to curate a selection of looks shaped by her distinctly British approach to family style. The Louise Roe Edit arrives as Janie and Jack builds its UK presence following the opening of its first London store in Chelsea.

Drawing on Roe's English upbringing and the pieces she gravitates toward for her own daughters, the edit brings together equestrian influences, heirloom florals, cable knits and tailored classics, pairing the romance of the English countryside with Janie and Jack's American heritage. Featuring 12 fall looks, among Roe's selections include a heritage plaid jumper, a romantic tiered floral dress, a charming gingham dress, classic cable knits and tailored outerwear.

For Roe, the partnership is rooted in more than style. It connects the brand that dressed one of her earliest moments as a mother with the way she dresses her family today. The result is a wardrobe that feels both familiar and fresh: a modern expression of classic style designed for childhood's most treasured occasions and everyday rituals alike.

"Louise has an authentic connection to Janie and Jack and a point of view on style that naturally bridges British and American influences," said Alison Stiefel, Chief Marketing Officer of Janie and Jack. "Her British perspective pairs beautifully with the classic American style at the heart of our brand. As we continue to grow our presence in London, she felt like the perfect person to bring those two worlds together through her edit of our fall collection."

"Janie and Jack has been part of my family's life since my eldest daughter was born, and that's what makes this so personal," said Louise Roe. "As a British mother raising my daughters between two cultures, I wanted to bring together the romance of British heritage dressing with the warmth that Janie and Jack does so beautifully. These are the pieces I'd reach for on a countryside weekend, a family celebration, a first day of school, and then pass down and love all over again."

To celebrate the launch, Janie and Jack and Roe will host an intimate preview at the Crosby Street Hotel in New York on September 19. Set against an English garden inspired backdrop, the event will showcase all 12 looks on young models alongside a live youth ensemble performance and hands on family activities, bringing the edit's countryside meets city aesthetic to life for media, creators and friends of the brand.

The Louise Roe Edit launches at Janie and Jack in-store and online in the U.S. beginning September 14, 2026, and in the UK on Tuesday, September 22nd. Available in girls and boys sizes ranging from newborn to age 12.

Americans Preach "Touch Grass" as Self Care. They Just Can't Seem to Do It
Image File
Original HTML

Nearly eight in 10 adults report feeling guilty choosing screen time over outdoor time in new NaturaLawn of America® survey

FREDERICK, Md., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The phrase "touch grass" may have started as internet slang, but a new survey from NaturaLawn® of America suggests it reflects a very real concern: Americans increasingly feel the need to step away from screens and spend more time outside – even if they're struggling to do it.

For the roughly three in four American adults who know the phrase, it's become shorthand for a mental reset. 83.2% who've heard "touch grass" have used it at least once, with most using it to mean unplugging from technology (54%) or getting outside (52%), and only about one in four taking it literally.

The "Touch Grass" paradox: Americans preach it but can't seem to do it.

Nearly eight in 10 (78%) adults feel guilty choosing screen time over outdoor time, and three out of four (76%) feel the need to disconnect at least once a week. Yet over the past month, more than a third only managed 20 screen-free minutes outdoors on two or fewer days, with one in nine managing none at all.

"The phrase 'touch grass' may have started on the internet, but the screen fatigue behind it is very real," said Theresa Smith, SVP for NaturaLawn® of America. "There's a clear desire to break free from screens, but intention alone isn't getting people outdoors. We need to bridge the gap between knowing we need that mental reset and actually giving ourselves the space to take one."

Outdoor spaces at home are the easiest place to "touch grass," but they have to feel worth 20 screen-free minutes. What did Americans say would actually get them to "touch grass" more often?

- Fewer bugs (34%)

- More comfortable space to sit (33%)

- Healthy green lawn (19.4%)

Parents are trading screen time for green time by re-creating their favorite childhood memories.

Reclaiming the yard isn't just a personal challenge for adults; for parents, it's a mission to create better habits for their children.

83.2% of adults reported spending unstructured time outside at least several times per week as a child, and 92.4% agree children today get less unstructured time outdoors than past generations. The biggest barrier? Parents and guardians say screen time, with 34.5% specifying video games and 31.4% specifying social media.

To fight the screen time takeover, nearly eight in 10 parents are re-creating their childhood's outdoor experiences as they try to make outdoor time part of their family's routine once more, including:

- Classic games like tag/hide-and-seek (38.8%)

- Casual sports (34.7%)

- Watching Sunsets or Stargazing (29.8%)

However, bringing play back to the backyard introduces a modern worry: what's on the lawn itself. Two in three parents expressed concern about exposure to traditional lawn chemicals and pesticides when letting their kids run barefoot or lie in the grass. But, 75.2% of parents are more likely to let kids play outside in a yard maintained with organic-based practices.

"For today's parents, 'touch grass' speaks directly to our efforts to raise a healthier, more grounded generation. By re-creating our favorite childhood outdoor memories, we aren't just getting kids outside today, we're teaching them how to manage stress and reset for the rest of their lives. And, an organic-based, worry-free yard gives parents the peace of mind to let those healthy habits take root," Smith explains.

Reclaiming the backyard is more than a break from screens. It's about creating habits that help children and adults alike respond to feelings of stress or overwhelm from work, school or everyday life in a healthy way and having a safe place to do it. For adults seeking a much-needed mental reset and parents striving to give their children an active, nostalgic childhood, the answer starts right outside the back door.

Merck Manuals Details What Patients Need to Know About Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Image File
Original HTML

RAHWAY, N.J., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- When patients experience prolonged diarrhea and abdominal pain, one condition doctors may consider is inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). In IBD, different parts of the gastrointestinal tract become inflamed, often causing recurring abdominal pain and diarrhea. If left untreated, the inflammation from IBD can lead to serious complications.

In a new editorial from MerckManuals.com, Aaron E. Walfish, MD, Mount Sinai Medical Center, shares key information on IBD, including recent advances in treatment options.

IBD is different from IBS

IBD is sometimes confused with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The two have similar acronyms and some similar symptoms, but they are fundamentally different conditions, says Walfish. IBS is a functional disorder, meaning the digestive tract can appear normal but does not function properly.

IBD, on the other hand, involves chronic inflammation that can be detected during a colonoscopy or through imaging and confirmed through biopsies. Untreated IBD can cause permanent damage and complications including fistulas, which are abnormal tunnels forming between parts of the gastrointestinal tract, other organs, or the skin, and abscesses, which are pus-filled cavities, undernutrition, and an increased risk of colorectal cancer. And because IBD is a systemic inflammatory disease, it may also cause inflammation and symptoms in other parts of the body, including joint pain or joint inflammation, eye inflammation, skin conditions, and fatigue.

Crohn disease and ulcerative colitis are the two primary types of IBD

Most people with IBD have either Crohn disease or ulcerative colitis, says Walfish.

Crohn disease is marked by chronic inflammation typically affecting the lower part of the small intestine, the large intestine, or both. However, inflammation may affect any part of the digestive tract.

In ulcerative colitis, the large intestine (colon) often becomes inflamed and ulcerated (pitted or eroded), often leading to bouts of bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever.

There is no cure for IBD

Doctors don't fully understand what causes IBD, says Walfish. Evidence suggests normal intestinal bacteria inappropriately trigger an immune reaction in people with a genetic predisposition. Several additional risk factors have also been identified, including smoking.

While there is no cure for IBD, treatments have advanced considerably in recent decades. Treatment approaches generally focus on controlling inflammation and healing the lining of the gastrointestinal tract, both of which can help prevent complications and improve quality of life for patients.

IBD needs to be treated – regardless of symptoms

When IBD is more active, it's known as a "flare-up," and patients experience more symptoms. Periods without symptoms are known as remission.

Sometimes, patients with IBD think that if they are not experiencing symptoms, they are better and don't need to continue treatment. This is not true, says Walfish. Even when symptoms are not occurring, patients can still have inflammation, leading to further damage and complications. Adhering to treatment, including medications and regular monitoring and appointments, is essential.

Diet and stress do not cause IBD

Eating certain foods or avoiding others cannot cure IBD, says Walfish. Still, nutrition can play an important role in symptom management and overall health. People with IBD should eat healthy, balanced meals and stay hydrated, particularly after a flare-up.

Similarly, while stress does not cause IBD, it can lead to flare-ups and make symptoms worse during a flare-up, says Walfish.

Ultimately, managing IBD includes staying current on preventive care and treatment, focusing on good sleep, controlling stress, staying active, and building a strong relationship with a treating physician.

INDIANAPOLIS, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- eHealth (Nasdaq: EHTH), a leading private online health insurance marketplace, and BerniePortal, a human resources and benefits administration platform, today announced a partnership to help brokers and employers offer employees more affordable, personalized health coverage options through Custom Health Option and Individual Care Expense Arrangements, or CHOICE (formerly ICHRA1).

The partnership expands a new distribution channel for eHealth, enabling more employers and brokers to tap into the company's nearly three decades of experience providing personalized support to consumers shopping for individual and family health plans. Brokers and employees can receive personalized guidance and support from eHealth to better understand their options, shop, and enroll in the health plan that best fits their needs.

Under the partnership, more than 5,000 employers and over 1,000 insurance brokers working with BerniePortal can now be connected to eHealth for a needs analysis and support with reviewing CHOICE options. eHealth's licensed insurance agents then help employees use the health benefit dollars provided to them to purchase and enroll in individual and family health insurance plans, often helping businesses reduce their healthcare costs while meeting the coverage needs of employees. CHOICE Arrangements will be managed through BerniePortal's benefits administration platform, helping provide a seamless experience for employers, brokers, and employees.

"Health benefit costs are one of the biggest pressures employers face today, and CHOICE Arrangements can give them a way to offer meaningful coverage while helping reduce the cost unpredictability associated with a traditional group plan," said Derrick Duke, CEO of eHealth. "BerniePortal already works closely with employers and brokers on the ground. By connecting them directly to our team, we can help more employers evaluate CHOICE Arrangements with confidence and give employees additional coverage choices that meet their individual needs."

"Our brokers tell us they want to offer their clients' employees real choice, but with administrative ease. That's what this partnership seeks to deliver: eHealth brings the individual marketplace capabilities, and BerniePortal helps make CHOICE Arrangements easy to run for the broker and HR," said Alex Tolbert, President of BerniePortal.

Helping employers and benefit brokers deliver CHOICE Arrangements

The partnership is designed to help brokers and employers offer more seamless CHOICE Arrangements, while making it easier for employees to compare coverage options, including:

- Access to hundreds of Affordable Care Act (ACA)-compliant plans, helping provide seamless and accurate enrollments and making it easier for employees to check coverage status.

- Dedicated support for employers and employees, including assisting with onboarding, shopping, and enrolling.

- Flexibility to structure contributions across employee classes and real-time visibility into enrollments and participation rates.

- Average savings of approximately 17% on healthcare costs.2

- Employer and employee education, including training and onboarding support to help provide a smooth transition.

- Ability for brokers to maintain agent-of-record status and preserve client relationships.

1 As of September 3, 2026, the Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services is now referring to Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRA) as CHOICE arrangements.

Athletic Brewing Company and Graza Cook Up Non-Alcoholic Collaboration Brew, 'Cold Off The Press'

Limited-time pils made with extra virgin olive oil brings together two flavor-obsessed brands

MILFORD, Conn., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Athletic Brewing Company, America's largest dedicated non-alcoholic brewer, and Graza, the cult-favorite olive oil brand and pantry staple, today announced the launch of Cold Off The Press, a limited-time non-alcoholic collaboration brew made with Graza Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

Crafted with Graza, Cold Off The Press is bright, smooth, and refreshingly unexpected. It will be available in 6-packs of 12-oz. cans at www.athleticbrewing.com beginning September 23, while supplies last.

A classic pils with floral, herbal, and lemon aromas and a remarkably clean, dry finish, the brewing process for Cold Off The Press began with extra virgin olive oil, which nourishes the yeast that helps shape the brew.

"We love collaborations that push us outside the traditional boundaries of brewing," said John Walker, Co-Founder and COO of Athletic Brewing Company. "The folks at Graza share our passion for great flavor and questioning how familiar products are supposed to look, taste, and feel. There was a natural creative chemistry between our teams, and Cold Off The Press gave us a chance to bring that shared curiosity into the brewhouse, challenge ourselves to think differently, and create something entirely new. We're always willing to chase an idea that sounds a little wild if we believe it can lead somewhere delicious, and this one absolutely did."

The collaboration brings together two brands known for reimagining everyday staples. Athletic Brewing has helped redefine expectations for non-alcoholic beer, while Graza has made top-notch, super-fresh olive oil more accessible, approachable, and fun to use through products built for everything from drizzling to sizzling.

While extra virgin olive oil is a staple in the brewing process, Cold Off The Press was never intended to taste like olive oil itself. Instead, Athletic's brewing team experimented with incorporating Graza Extra Virgin Olive Oil into the brew while developing a bright, balanced flavor profile that complements food without overpowering it.

"We're constantly looking for creative ways to show how versatile olive oil can be, and we loved the idea of taking it somewhere completely new," said Andrew Benin, CEO and Co-Founder of Graza. "Athletic brings the same energy, curiosity, and attention to ingredients and flavor that we do. Cold Off The Press is super drinkable and one of the more deliciously adventurous places we've taken olive oil."

The name Cold Off The Press is a playful nod to both brands, pairing the cold-pressing of olives with a crisp, refreshing brew. The result is a grove-to-glass mashup made for serving alongside good food and great company.

Equally at home at the dinner table or alongside a game day spread, Cold Off The Press pairs especially well with pizza, grilled vegetables, salty snacks, big sandwiches, charcuterie, and whatever else happens to be on the menu.

Benjamin Eskenazi MD, FACS, a double board-certified plastic surgeon, facial anatomy educator, and founder of Avabello Aesthetics, has been named to the faculty of the 14th Annual IAFA Aesthetic Symposium taking place at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Dr. Eskenazi will be performing live injection demonstrations during the pre-symposium Anatomy & Injection Masterclass on November 5, 2026. On November 7, he will deliver a MainStage lecture on full-face treatment sequencing to aesthetic providers from across the country and abroad.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Benjamin Eskenazi MD, FACS, a double board-certified plastic surgeon, facial anatomy educator, and founder of Avabello Aesthetics in Miami Beach, has been named to the faculty of the 14th Annual IAFA Aesthetic Symposium, presented by the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Dr. Eskenazi will serve as a co-instructor for the Anatomy & Injection Masterclass, where he will perform live injection demonstrations on Thursday, November 5, and will deliver a MainStage lecture titled "Sequencing the Full Face — What You Can Undo, and What You Can't" at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 7.

The IAFA Aesthetic Symposium brings together physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and dentists who practice facial aesthetics, along with faculty from across the country and abroad. The 2026 program runs November 6 and 7 and pairs morning lectures and live patient demonstrations with small-group, hands-on afternoon workshops. Topics span injection safety and complication management, neurotoxin and filler techniques for the upper, mid and lower face, combination treatment planning and emerging aesthetic technologies.

Dr. Eskenazi's MainStage lecture opens the Saturday morning session on Combination Therapies and Regenerative Aesthetics. His talk addresses the order in which full-face treatments are planned and performed, and the practical difference between choices that can be adjusted or reversed later and those that cannot. The session is aimed at injectors who want a framework for building comprehensive full face treatment plans that maximize aesthetic outcomes while maintaining flexibility for future treatments.

Before the main program begins, Dr. Eskenazi will join the faculty of the Anatomy & Injection Masterclass, a five-hour pre-symposium course on facial anatomy and injection technique on Thursday, November 5, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. The masterclass is led by Professor Sebastian Cotofana, MD, PhD, PhD, a facial anatomist and educator, and combines instructor-led cadaver dissections with live patient injection demonstrations and real-time facial ultrasound. As each anatomical layer is dissected, faculty correlate it with injection technique in real time, covering neurotoxin treatment of the forehead, glabella and crow's feet as well as filler treatment of the temples, tear troughs, cheeks, nasolabial folds, lips, chin and jawline. Dr. Eskenazi will perform live injections on stage alongside co-instructors Terry Alford, DMD; Lanna Cheuck, DO; Barbara Brandt, APRN; Jill Campbell, MSN, FNP-C, CANS; and Shanna Concepcion, RN, CANS.

The format draws directly on Dr. Eskenazi's teaching background. He has served as faculty and proctor for nearly 100 cadaver labs and headlined the Evolus "Evolution Tour" in 2023, educating more than 1,000 aesthetic providers across 65 cities and 30 states. He also consulted on filler complications for the launch of Evolus' Evolysse™ filler line, developing educational resources and protocols centered around facial vascular anatomy, safe injection techniques, and the recognition and management of adverse events.

"Facial anatomy is foundational to everything I do, from injectable treatments to surgical facial rejuvenation," said Dr. Eskenazi. "Understanding tissue planes, vascular anatomy, retaining structures, and how the face changes with age allows us to make better decisions about not only how to treat but what to treat and when. That same anatomy-first approach guides my clinical practice and my teaching. The IAFA Symposium is the perfect forum for providers to advance their fund of knowledge so that they can move beyond individual techniques and think more comprehensively about the anatomical basis of facial aging, treatment selection, and long-term sequencing."

ClearPower Receives PEOT Authorization for Hydropower Development in Peru's Tinajones System
Image File
Original HTML

Company's $35 million investment will generate up to 184 GWh of renewable energy annually and support the regional economy

MIAMI, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearPower Global has been selected by the Olmos Tinajones Special Project (PEOT) to generate renewable hydropower from Peru's Tinajones water system. The company plans to produce approximately 20 MW of hydropower, resulting in up to 184 GWh of initial generating capacity annually. ClearPower's project investment of $35 million will create jobs and opportunities for local businesses as well.

PEOT's system carries water to farms and communities. ClearPower will place its modular turbines within that system, capturing energy at suitable elevation drops while preserving PEOT's essential infrastructure and water-delivery role. PEOT's authorization also includes a 30-year concession agreement after which the infrastructure will revert to PEOT.

"ClearPower's ability to install and turn on the energy for a complex system like PEOT, without disrupting operations, is what our technology was built for," said Michael Prendergast, ClearPower Global co-founder and managing partner. "We can use a community's vital water supply to also help power it, unlocking nearly endless benefits to communities around the world."

How ClearPower's Technology Works

ClearPower's compact, modernized turbines fit into existing gravity-fed and pressurized infrastructure to generate reliable, low-impact renewable energy. At the Tinajones water system in Peru, ClearPower plans to configure the initial sites to generate up to 20 MW of hydropower, with further opportunities identified by PEOT for significant expansion where conditions support that scale.

During its 30-year concession with PEOT, ClearPower will provide the operator with 1.5 million PEN (over 444,000 USD), or more, per year from the hydropower generated. ClearPower will also fully assume operation, maintenance and other project needs.

"ClearPower turbines can recover significant amounts of unused energy and revenue across many types of water infrastructure," said Adam Swickle, ClearPower Global co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer. "We provide operators an opportunity to collect what has been left on the table for decades."

Established Mechanics, Updated Engineering

ClearPower's turbine platform builds on more than 15 years of operating history, with other installations in Norway and France. A technical assessment by Mesa Associates, Inc. found ClearPower's modernized design is more durable and more efficient than standard turbines. It also indicated ClearPower's technology can serve multiple gravity-fed and pressurized infrastructure types, supporting estimates over 1,000 GW in energy remains unutilized globally.

ClearPower provides an affordable path to compliance for operators that outperforms traditional alternatives. ClearPower's in-conduit design delivers more power than conventional turbines, while efficiently generating electricity that can offset the operator's expenses and provide revenue opportunities.

About ClearPower Global

ClearPower Global develops modular hydropower systems that recover available energy from existing water infrastructure. The company combines turbine technology with site-specific engineering to generate electricity from suitable elevation drops and excess pressure in aqueducts, canals, pipelines, and controlled water releases while preserving their primary water-delivery functions.

One of the Nation's Leading Thermal Power Developers to Expand Advanced Power's Team as ArcLight Platform Accelerates Delivery of Critical Power Infrastructure to Power AI

BOSTON, Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ArcLight Capital Partners (with its affiliates, "ArcLight"), a leading power and energy infrastructure investor and Advanced Power ("AP") today announced the appointment of Peter Podurgiel as President and Board Director of Advanced Power and ArcLight Senior Advisor. Advanced Power, an ArcLight portfolio company, is one of the largest power infrastructure solutions platforms in North America with a development pipeline of over 15 GW to build utility scale power infrastructure for utilities, hyperscalers, data center developers and the power grid.

Mr. Podurgiel, was formerly President of Competitive Power Ventures ("CPV"), and brings to Advanced Power more than 25 years of experience developing, originating, permitting, financing and commercializing large-scale power generation. At Advanced Power, he will lead the company's day-to-day activities including development, commercial, engineering and construction, and asset management activities, working alongside Chief Executive Officer Tom Spang.

The combination pairs Advanced Power's proven development team – which has successfully developed power infrastructure for over two decades and is advancing a pipeline of more than 15 GW of new projects – with ArcLight's 25-year track record as an owner, operator and developer of power, transmission and midstream infrastructure and its dedicated in-house technical, commercial and operating specialists. Together, the platform is uniquely positioned to continue delivering customized, accelerated power solutions for utilities, data center developers and hyperscalers across North America.

"ArcLight has spent 25 years building, connecting and operating the critical power infrastructure that North America's grid depends on, and today we are at the forefront of delivering the generation, transmission and storage needed to power AI and the broader electrification of the economy," said Angelo Acconcia, Managing Partner of ArcLight. "Peter is one of the most accomplished thermal developers in the country. His addition to Advanced Power – alongside Tom Spang and one of the deepest development teams in the industry – further strengthens our ability to bring reliable, affordable power to market at the speed and scale our utility, hyperscaler and technology partners require."

"Peter has spent his career at the front end of the most complex power projects in the country, and his record of commercializing more than 11 GW of generation places him among the leading developers in the United States," said Tom Spang, CEO of Advanced Power. "Speed to power has never mattered more to our customers. With ArcLight's capital and operating capabilities behind us and Peter leading our day-to-day execution, Advanced Power is uniquely positioned to develop, build and deliver the accelerated, critical power and grid infrastructure needed to power AI."

"I've experienced many market cycles throughout my career, but I've never seen anything like what's happening in the power industry today. The demand for new-build power generating resources is unprecedented, and there are very few platforms ready and able to respond," said Mr. Podurgiel. "ArcLight has been an owner, operator and developer of critical power infrastructure for 25 years, and Advanced Power has one of the strongest development teams in the country and a real track record of delivering. The combination of capital, operating depth and customer relationships is why I joined, and I'm excited to work together to move projects from concept to commercial operation at the speed the market now requires."

Mr. Podurgiel joined CPV shortly after its founding and spent more than 25 years helping build the company. As President of CPV Low Carbon Generation, he led the development, construction and commercialization of new gas-fired generation across the U.S. and Canada, and over his tenure commercialized and transacted more than 11 GW of power projects. He previously served as CPV's Executive Vice President of Project Development and was one of the primary architects of the company's asset management strategy and business development. Earlier in his career, Mr. Podurgiel helped develop more than 2 GW of power projects at US Generating Company, and commercial real estate at New England Development and The Pyramid Companies.
