Colony Grill Joins Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Official Pizza Partner, Bringing Famous Thin-Crust Pizza to Raymond James Stadium

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home opener, Colony Grill is kicking off its partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an Official Pizza Partner, bringing its famous thin-crust pizza to the stadium and giving fans who attend a Buccaneers home game a reason to keep the celebration going.

"This is an incredible time for Tampa Bay sports," said Paul Coniglio, Co-Owner and CEO of Colony Grill. "We felt that energy at the Buccaneers' Draft Party in St. Pete and again at the home opener. Buccaneers fans have made Colony Grill part of their game days over the years—now, we're excited to meet them both at our restaurants and at Raymond James Stadium, where we can add extra fanfare to the day. That Krewe spirit feels right at home at Colony Grill, and we're excited to be part of the Buccaneers' game-day experience and the traditions that come with it."

Colony Grill will serve fans three Colony Grill favorites—a plain cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and the Original Hot Oil Pizza - throughout Raymond James Stadium through 2030: including four concession locations in Sections 109, 134, 311, and 336. The club level will also provide in-seat delivery served in co-branded Colony Grill and Tampa Bay Buccaneers personal-sized pizza boxes, with larger format pizzas available in suites, Champions Club, and the Hall of Fame Club.

"Enhancing the Krewe's game day experience is a top priority for our organization and adding Colony Grill to our concession stand offerings is another example of that commitment," said Buccaneers Chief Commercial Officer Atul Khosla. "Colony Grill is already a fan-favorite, and we are excited to team up with a brand that shares the same dedication to quality and experience."

This partnership brings a special offer to fans attending any of the remaining eight Buccaneers home games at Raymond James Stadium this season. Fans can present their game ticket or Krewe Card at participating Colony Grill locations to receive a Buy One, Get One Free pizza offer. The promotion is redeemable at Colony Grill's Tampa Midtown and St. Petersburg locations, giving fans an opportunity to continue the excitement with family and friends on their way home or within 7 days after the game.

For Colony Grill, the partnership builds on a long-standing connection between its restaurants and the sports fan experience. Colony has been a place to meet up before a game, enjoy a pizza with family and friends, or settle onto a bar stool to watch a favorite team. The Buccaneers partnership now formally extends that tradition to the Krewe, while creating another opportunity for fans to gather around Colony's signature thin-crust pizza.

Colony Grill has been serving pizza at Raymond James throughout the summer concert series and other programs but the partnership made its official debut during the Buccaneers' home opener. Fans arriving at Colony Grill restaurants dressed in Bucs gear before heading to Raymond James Stadium and Colony Grill's concession stands welcomed fans throughout the game.

Founded in 1935 in Stamford, Connecticut, Colony Grill is the Home of the Original Hot Oil Bar Pie—a beloved, bar-style pizza best served with its signature, Hot Oil topping. Companies Of The UN Global Compact Across Europe Make Tangible Contributions To The Sustainable Development Goals But Still Lack Operational Actions To Advance Environmental Goals

Release of the first comprehensive analysis of the private sector's contribution to the 2030 agenda

NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On the occasion of the United Nations General Assembly, UN Global Compact Networks Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and Türkiye are releasing the second edition of the European Private Sector SDGs Stocktake. Drawing on 136 data points from 5,793 UN Global Compact participant companies across 21 European countries, the study makes it possible, for the first time, to estimate the private sector's level of contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals. The overall average contribution score of 58.2 out of 100 suggests a positive level of contribution to sustainable development, with room for improvement on specific issues.

KEY FINDINGS

- European UN Global Compact participant companies make a tangible contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, with an overall average contribution score of 58.2 out of 100.

For each analysed SDG target, a contribution score from 0 to 100 was calculated using a set of indicators, with 0 meaning no contribution at all and 100 the highest possible level of contribution. The scores reveal that while differences between countries are relatively small, the level of contribution remains uneven across the Goals. SDG 3 on health records the highest contribution score (73.6).

- Companies' contribution is higher on SDGs related to social issues than the ones related to the environment. Anti-corruption is well integrated by UNGC companies in Europe.

This difference may reflect longer-standing regulations in Europe on social issues, as well as a greater number of operational indicators for measuring environment-related SDGs, which require a higher level of maturity in terms of sustainability.

- European industrial participant companies tend to embed environmental practices more deeply.

Overall, contribution to climate change (SDG 13) remains moderate among European participant companies, with an average score of 45.8. Only 28.1% of responding companies have developed a climate adaptation plan. The indicators show that industrial companies tend to contribute more to SDG 13 on climate and SDG 12 on responsible consumption and production than service-sector companies, suggesting that more direct exposure creates a stronger incentive to act.

- The contribution scores by country show a degree of homogeneity in Europe.

The highest overall contribution scores have been calculated for companies from Greece (67.3), Türkiye (63.9) and Italy (62.8), as opposed to lower scores in Poland and Denmark (51.7) and Switzerland & Liechtenstein (54.6). Most countries fall within ± 2.9 points around the European average overall score. This suggests that companies in Europe now operate within broadly shared sustainability frameworks, with similar levels of regulations and expectations.

- Most companies have now taken policy commitments and implemented internal prevention measures, but it remains difficult for most to translate these commitments into operational actions.

This is particularly the case for SMEs, which account for 56% of the responding companies. Employee training on sustainability also remains an area where progress is needed, given that its wide-scale adoption is essential to the implementation of the SDGs.

- The efficiency of sustainability actions is still not systematically measured for all areas

Among the companies that have implemented sustainability measures related to social issues, only half have measured their progress. This is however significantly more common for measures related to the environment, despite 20% of companies still not tracking their efficiency. Sustainability training (SDG 4) also leaves room for improvement as less than 40% of companies offer such training to their employees on social and environmental issues.

- Multi-stakeholder and public-private partnerships show room for improvement among European companies participating in the UN Global Compact.

This is shown by a low contribution score on SDG 17 (22.1), and can be explained by the voluntary nature of such partnerships. Public-private partnerships present a real opportunity for further progress and to drive a measurable impact in all sustainable development areas, notably in technological progress and financing.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Based on these findings, the European Global Compact Country Networks that contributed to this study issue four recommendations to the European private sector:

- Increase progress measurement in all sustainability areas, to efficiently measure impact and ensure alignment with Sustainable Development Goals.

- Adaptation to climate change should become a priority for all sectors in Europe, to ensure the long-term viability of business models.

- Engage in more multi-stakeholder and public-private partnerships, such as cross-sector alliances, multi-stakeholder cooperation on innovative sustainable projects, or public-private finance mechanisms for supporting sustainable development.

- Increase sustainability training opportunities for all employees and suppliers, to ensure that sustainable impact can be positively delivered through the entire value chain.

The UN Global Compact and its Country Networks in Europe continue to carry out their mandate by supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda by companies of all sizes and operating in all business sectors, through a comprehensive value proposition, tailored to all levels of sustainability maturity.

METHODOLOGY

The study was built from the 2025 Communication on Progress (CoP) of 5,793 UN Global Compact participant companies in Europe, using 136 data points.

The study covers 21 European countries where the UN Global Compact has a Country Network: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland & Liechtenstein*, Türkiye and the United Kingdom. As sample sizes vary across countries, margins of error have been indicated on the publication.

*Both countries belong to the same UN Global Compact Country Network.

The CoP indicators were mapped to the SDG targets, drawing on the work of the Global Reporting Initiative as a starting point. The CoP questionnaire does not provide indicators enabling companies' contribution to SDG 1 on no poverty, SDG 2 on zero hunger and SDG 11 on sustainable cities and communities to be measured. These three Goals were therefore removed from the scope of the study. For the remaining 14 Goals, the CoP data allow contribution to be measured on at least one target.

To calculate the contribution score for each target and each Goal, the CoP indicators were weighted and aggregated. A contribution score ranges from 0 to 100, where 0 is the lowest and 100 the highest.

The calculated score reflects the level of contribution to the SDGs by European UN Global Compact participant companies, not the extent to which those companies have achieved the Goals.

Second NRF2 Degrader Enters Clinical Development: Nutshell Therapeutics' NTS231 Received FDA IND Clearance

SHANGHAI, Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nutshell Therapeutics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("Nutshell Therapeutics"), an innovative biotech company focused on AI-driven allosteric drug discovery, announced FDA IND clearance for NTS231, a covalent allosteric molecular glue degrader of NRF2, to launch clinical development in the United States.

NTS231 is the first NRF2 degrader molecule from China and second globally to enter clinical development. This program represents a significant advancement in efforts to therapeutically target the NRF2 pathway, a key driver of tumor survival and treatment resistance in multiple cancer types.

AI-Driven Discovery of a Novel NRF2-Targeting Molecular Glue

The discovery of NTS231 was powered by Nutshell Therapeutics' proprietary AI-driven allosteric drug discovery platform, ALLOSTAR™, which integrates computer-aided drug design (CADD), medicinal chemistry and cutting-edge experimental techniques.

By leveraging the ALLOSTAR™ platform, Nutshell Therapeutics successfully identified NTS231 as a highly potent and selective novel small molecule that covalently binds to KEAP1 and induces the degradation of NRF2. Mechanistically, NTS231 irreversibly links to the Cys151 residue of KEAP1 and stabilizes the KEAP1 structural conformation conducive to CUL3 interaction as well as the assembly of functional KEAP1–CUL3 E3-ligase complex, thereby driving NRF2 degradation, suppressing NRF2 signaling pathway, and inhibiting cancer cell viability. The team accomplished IND approval within 24 months from target nomination, highlighting AI-enabled acceleration of drug discovery.

Robust Preclinical Antitumor Activity and Desirable Safety Profile

In preclinical studies, NTS231 exhibits non-inferior in vitro activities to VVD-130037[1], a clinical-stage compound under the same targeting mechanism, while possessing superior pharmacokinetic properties. Across multiple cell-derived xenograft (CDX) and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models harboring diverse NRF2/KEAP1/CUL3 mutations or NRF2 hyperactivation, NTS231 has demonstrated dose-dependent antitumor efficacy as a single agent in a range of solid tumors, including lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).

NTS231 has also demonstrated the potential for combination therapies. Synergistic antitumor effects were observed when combining NTS231 with chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Notably, in chemotherapy-resistant LUSC PDX models harboring KEAP1 and other mutations, the combination of NTS231 and paclitaxel significantly enhanced tumor growth inhibition relative to single agents; in a proof-of-concept CDX model of NFE2L2-amplified LUAD, combined treatment with NTS231 and a TROP2 ADC dramatically improved efficacy and led to tumor regression, accompanied by decreased expression of NRF2-regulated efflux transporters, which might sensitize tumors to ADC payloads and mitigate resistance.

In the 28-day Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) toxicology studies conducted in rats and dogs, NTS231 demonstrated a favorable safety profile and a wide safety margin. These findings provide important preclinical support for the continued clinical development of NTS231.

Targeting a Significant Unmet Need in NRF2-Driven Cancers

Constitutive activation of NRF2 has been observed in many human cancers as a result of genetic alterations in the NRF2-encoding gene NFE2L2 and its regulatory genes KEAP1 and CUL3. Approximately 12% of cancer patients profiled in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database carry mutations in at least one of the three genes NFE2L2, KEAP1 or CUL3, particularly prevalent in >30% LUSC and >20% LUAD. Preliminary estimates indicate over 1.5 million annual new cancer cases worldwide harbor NRF2/KEAP1/CUL3 alterations or other aberrant NRF2 pathway activation.[2]

This patient population is largely ineligible for most targeted therapies, given that NRF2/KEAP1/CUL3 alterations are mutually exclusive with EGFR, ALK, ROS1, and BRAF genetic lesions. Immunotherapy likewise yields limited efficacy, since such mutations are strongly associated with an immunologically cold tumor microenvironment (TME) that leads to therapeutic resistance. Constant activation of the NRF2 pathway resulting from mutations in NRF2, KEAP1 or CUL3 can also confer resistance to standard chemotherapy. Collectively, these factors underscore the substantial unmet medical need for effective therapies targeting NRF2-driven tumor biology.

By directly targeting the KEAP1–NRF2 regulatory axis, NTS231 has the potential to provide a new therapeutic approach for patients with NRF2, KEAP1, or CUL3 mutations, as well as tumors characterized by NRF2 pathway hyperactivation.

Aseptic packaging is a specialized manufacturing method where a sterile product is filled and sealed inside a pre-sterilized packaging material under an entirely sterile environment. This process prevents microbial recontamination, allowing highly perishable foods, beverages, and pharmaceuticals to be transported and stored at room temperature for extended periods without requiring artificial preservatives or continuous refrigeration.

By material, the paper & paperboard segment is expected to account for the fastest CAGR during the forecasted period.

Over the forecast period, the Paper & Paperboard category is predicted to exhibit the fastest compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in the aseptic packaging industry. The strong growth of this sector can be attributed to the global movement towards more sustainable, circular-economy packaging methods that minimize the use of disposable plastic. Paperboard is the basis for the modern aseptic carton design as it provides the necessary strength while keeping the renewable nature of the product. The growing requirements of environmental legislation in various parts of the world encourage manufacturers to invest in R&D for the development of eco-friendly alternatives to currently used plastic products, such as novel bio-derived paper forms. In addition, the modern consumer is becoming more eco-conscious and increasingly prefers brands that promote sustainability.

By type, the vials, ampoules, and prefillable syringes segment is expected to account for the fastest CAGR during the forecasted period.

The vials, ampoules, and prefillable syringes segment within aseptic packaging is expected to register the highest growth rate in the coming years. This fast-paced growth can be attributed to the increasing development of biological drugs and their unprecedented demand in the market. As compared to traditional small-molecule drugs, these liquid formulations are more susceptible to degradation and chemical interactions; therefore, perfect sterility is paramount, which can only be achieved using specialized polymer syringes and high-grade glass vials. Moreover, the healthcare sector is heavily leaning towards the use of prefillable syringes to avoid medication errors, as well as eliminate drug wastage. With the expansion of healthcare networks and regulating authorities implementing stricter regulations, pharmaceutical companies have begun using mechanized aseptic filling machines and automation in this domain.

By application, the pharmaceuticals segment is expected to account for the fastest CAGR during the forecasted period.

The pharmaceuticals segment is expected to witness the highest compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in the market for aseptic packaging in the coming years. This tremendous market growth can be attributed to the global upsurge of biopharmaceutical production, including advanced vaccines, complex cellular therapies, monoclonal antibodies, and biosimilars. These advanced liquid medications are very sensitive to environmental conditions and thermal degradation, making standard terminal heat sterilization impossible. Aseptic operation serves as the only way to fill and seal these products while preserving their active chemical structures and ensuring absolute sterility. Also, the new stringent regulations on sterile drug manufacturing force pharmaceutical firms to streamline their supply chains. The increasing clinical adoption of ready-to-use drug delivery systems, such as prefilled syringes and sterile single-dose containers, further strengthens pharmaceuticals as the most rapidly expanding application in the global market.

Asia Pacific is expected to account for the fastest CAGR during the forecast period.

The growth of the aseptic packaging industry in Asia Pacific is expected to be very fast in terms of CAGR in the forecast period. This growth can be credited to fast growth of the economy, increase in disposable income, and high rate of growth of population in many developing countries. With millions of consumers moving to cities and adopting a fast lifestyle, use of packaged dairy goods, RTD beverages, and processed food is growing like never before. At the same time, the boom in the healthcare system and local biopharmaceutical manufacture is increasing the demand for sterile pharmaceutical packaging. Besides, international companies are investing in local production to take advantage of much cheaper production processes and the increasing demand.

Key Players

The major aseptic packaging companies such as Amcor plc (Switzerland), Mondi plc (UK), Smurfit Westrock plc (Ireland), TOPPAN Holdings Inc. (Japan), Graphic Packaging Holding Company (US), Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. (Japan), Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP) (Japan), Huhtamäki Oyj (Finland), Stora Enso Oyj (Finland), and Tetra Pak International S.A. (Switzerland). Product launches, partnerships, acquisitions, and expansions are some of the major strategies adopted by these key players to enhance their positions in the aseptic packaging market.

Investment and Funding

Investment in the aseptic packaging market is increasingly focused on expanding sterile manufacturing capacity, improving cleanroom automation, and strengthening high-barrier material processing capabilities. Manufacturer disclosures indicate that capital deployment has been directed toward factory expansion, specialized blow-molding and carton-forming equipment, cleanroom robotic systems, computer-controlled filling lines, and integrated material-lamination operations. In recent financial disclosures, Amcor plc announced an expansion of its high-barrier flexible and rigid packaging operations, together with upgrades to its cleanroom automation infrastructure and the integration of advanced robotic handling systems to improve filling line throughput and maintain pristine sterile integrity. During the same fiscal period, Mondi plc reported that its targeted investment in precision co-extrusion and high-speed laminating lines directly increased internal material production capacity, supporting the commercial launch of next-generation, fiber-based liquid packaging systems serving cartons, pouches, and bag-in-box barrier formats Mondi Group Website. Furthermore, Graphic Packaging Holding Company has described major capital investments in additional production facilities, specialist carton-forming machinery, high-definition printing infrastructure, and customized digital layout software to support rising retail sales and increasingly complex multi-layer food and beverage structural barrier requirements Graphic Packaging Website. These global developments strongly suggest that capital investment is moving toward highly scalable, technology-enabled aseptic manufacturing models rather than conventional, non-sterile packaging fabrication capacity alone. The main structural areas attracting funding include automated cleanroom roll-forming, prefabricated barrier cartons, smart packaging integration, advanced materials R&D, and inline sterile processing mechanisms. Packaging manufacturers equipped with modern cleanroom production facilities, specialized sterilization hardware, automated digital workflows, and the ability to supply both rigid and flexible high-barrier containers seamlessly are demonstrably better positioned to attract strategic corporate investment and expand their active customer base. This dynamic financing environment is directly supported by the growing market adoption of preservative-free "clean-label" formulations, biological pharmaceutical products, single-serve convenience foods, and ambient distribution processes that collectively emphasize longer shelf life, lower transport costs, and total elimination of cold-chain dependencies.

Global Leaders Call for Scalable Women's Health Models to Close $1 Trillion Health Gap at Burjeel Holdings' Roundtable in New York

Roundtable held during UN General Assembly week examined how investment, technology, and new models of care can close the global women's health gap

NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Global leaders from healthcare, investment, philanthropy, and government called for greater investment in scalable, integrated models of women's healthcare at "The $1 Trillion Case for Women's Health," a high-level roundtable convened by Burjeel Holdings, a leading super-specialty healthcare services provider in the GCC.

Held on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, the discussion focused on the economic and clinical impact of the global women's health gap, which the World Economic Forum estimates could exceed $1 trillion annually by 2040 if left unaddressed.

The roundtable, opened with a virtual address from HRH Ambassador Reema Bandar Al-Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United States, speaking about the need to take a more comprehensive approach to women's health.

"It begins with knowledge and prevention," said Princess Reema in her video address. "It begins with creating an environment where women feel comfortable speaking about their health and asking for the care they need. But today, that conversation has to go much further. We have to invest in women everywhere. Women's physical and mental health and overall well-being are interconnected, and our approach to care has to be, too. No nation can ask half of its people to contribute to its future and then leave their healthcare to chance."

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Chairman, and CEO of Burjeel Holdings, continued the discussion with 23 leaders spanning health systems, investment, philanthropy, and multilateral organizations. He pointed out how Burjeel Holdings' clinical experience serves as an example of targeted investment in women's healthcare as a scalable action, already improving the future of women, evidenced by the decline in cervical cancer cases at Burjeel Cancer Institute in the UAE over the past two years.

The Group also previewed collaborative initiatives under development in Saudi Arabia, including an integrated model for women's health delivery that could be adapted for other markets, including across Africa and the wider Global South.

"Women's health has been under-researched, underfunded, and too often treated as episodic rather than lifelong," said Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil during his opening remarks. "Prevention is key, alongside diagnostics, cardiovascular health, cancer, reproductive health, menopause and midlife care, and so much more. Any model implemented needs to be evidence-based, culturally relevant, with trusted, measurable success. Only then will progress be seen."

Ms. Khadija Rejto, Chair of Global Health at the Atria Research and Global health Institute emphasized this point, sharing, "Investors have long treated women's health as a niche despite it being one of the fastest growing sectors in the world."

As conversation continued, participants discussed three critical requirements for closing the women's health gap: a sustained investment in women's health systems, broader adoption of technology across care delivery, and new models of care with a demonstrated record of results.

Single infusion of CARVYKTI® (ciltacabtagene autoleucel) delivered five-year treatment-free remissions in 50% of patients in early line relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma
Image File
Original HTML

- New results suggest earlier treatment may increase the likelihood of long-term remission

- Study adds to Johnson & Johnson's overwhelming body of evidence supporting its innovative multiple myeloma therapies in second line, where earlier intervention may increase long-term remission and disease control

RARITAN, N.J., Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), a worldwide leader in multiple myeloma therapies, announced today new long-term follow-up data from the initial subgroup of cohort A in the Phase 2 CARTITUDE-2 study (N=20) showing that 50% of patients (10/20) in early line relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) who were treated with a single infusion of CARVYKTI® (ciltacabtagene autoleucel; cilta-cel) remained alive and progression-free for at least five years without maintenance therapy.1 These results build on the durable, treatment-free remissions observed in the CARTITUDE-1 study, which evaluated patients in later lines of therapy, and reinforce that earlier treatment with CARVYKTI® may increase long-term remission and disease control. Together, these findings add to the emerging evidence suggesting that CARVYKTI® may have curative potential in some patients.

Findings were presented at the International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting (Abstract #PA-288).

Expert and company perspectives on earlier treatment-free remissions with CARVYKTI®

"Five years ago, treatment-free remissions of this duration were difficult to imagine for many patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma," said Niels van de Donk, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Hematology, University Medical Center, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.* "These new CARVYKTI findings provide additional evidence that when highly effective, established therapies are used earlier in the disease course, more patients may have the opportunity to achieve deep, durable remissions and long-term disease control without maintenance."

"These results add to the growing body of evidence suggesting that CARVYKTI may have curative potential for some patients, and reinforce the value of bringing highly effective therapies to patients earlier in their treatment journey," said Yusri Elsayed, M.D., M.H.Sc., Ph.D., Global Therapeutic Area Head, Oncology, Johnson & Johnson. "As we continue to advance a portfolio of complementary and combinable therapies, these findings reinforce our commitment to pursuing curative approaches and redefining what patients can expect from multiple myeloma treatment."

Phase 2 CARTITUDE-2 study build on previous findings

CARTITUDE-2 cohort A (N=20) enrolled patients with RRMM who had received one to three prior lines of therapy, were exposed to a proteasome inhibitor, and were refractory to lenalidomide.1 The primary endpoint was minimal residual disease (MRD) negativity.1 Patients from initial cohort A were followed to assess long-term outcomes following a single CARVYKTI® infusion without maintenance therapy.1

At a median follow-up of 60.7 months:

- Half of the patients (n=10, 50%) remained alive and progression-free at five years

- The five-year overall survival rate was 69.2%

- Median progression-free survival was 60.5 months

- Patients received a single CARVYKTI® infusion without maintenance therapy

At five years, MRD was assessed by bone marrow in three patients and was not required per protocol.1 All three patients were MRD-negative at the deepest level tested (10-6), indicating no detectable disease using highly sensitive testing methods.1

Long-term remissions were observed even among patients with high-risk disease features.1 Of the 10 patients who remained alive and progression-free at five years, five had at least one high-risk cytogenetic abnormality, including four patients with two or more high-risk features.1

The safety profile observed with longer follow-up was consistent with the known safety profile of CARVYKTI®, with no new CAR T-cell-related neurotoxicity reported.1 Since the previous analysis, one patient developed a new hematologic malignancy (acute myeloid leukemia) and two deaths occurred due to progressive disease and new cancer.1

About CARTITUDE-2

CARTITUDE-2 (NCT04133636) is an ongoing, multicohort Phase 2 study evaluating the efficacy and safety of ciltacabtagene autoleucel (CARVYKTI®) in patients in different clinical settings, including patients with one to three prior lines of therapy, and continues to generate long-term follow-up data on depth and durability of response. CARTITUDE-2 findings have been presented at major medical congresses, including the International Myeloma Society (IMS) Annual Meeting, and contribute to the growing body of evidence supporting earlier use of CARVYKTI® in multiple myeloma.

About multiple myeloma

Multiple myeloma is a complex blood cancer that affects a type of white blood cell called plasma cells, which are found in the bone marrow.2 In multiple myeloma, these plasma cells proliferate and spread rapidly and replace normal cells in the bone marrow with tumors.3 Multiple myeloma is the third most common blood cancer worldwide.4 More than 180,000 new cases of multiple myeloma are diagnosed globally each year.5 People living with multiple myeloma have a 5-year survival rate of 59.8%.6 While some people diagnosed with multiple myeloma initially have no symptoms, most patients are diagnosed due to symptoms that can include bone fracture or pain, low red blood cell counts, tiredness, high calcium levels and kidney problems or infections.7,8 In recent years, potential overall survival has improved from years to decades for some patients, with effective treatment options now available across every stage and line of therapy.9

About Johnson & Johnson's multiple myeloma portfolio

Johnson & Johnson is a global leader in multiple myeloma therapies, with a broad and differentiated portfolio designed to address the complexity and heterogeneity of the disease. Our portfolio spans multiple mechanisms of action, targets and treatment modalities, including CD38-directed therapies, BCMA- and GPRC5D-targeting bispecific antibodies, and cellular therapies.

Over the past decade, Johnson & Johnson therapies have helped extend survival for patients with multiple myeloma. With the right medicines, used as early as possible, combined and sequenced for the best results, Johnson & Johnson is expanding treatment options to match the right therapy to the right patient at the right stage of disease and drive deeper and more durable responses.

Through ongoing research and a robust clinical program, Johnson & Johnson is committed to transforming multiple myeloma into a more manageable condition that is no longer treated to progression but has the potential to, ultimately, be cured.

About CARVYKTI®

CARVYKTI® (cilta-cel) received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval in February 2022 for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma after four or more prior lines of therapy, including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent, and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody.10

In April 2024, CARVYKTI® was approved in the U.S. for treatment of adult patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least one prior line of therapy including a proteasome inhibitor, an immunomodulatory agent, and who are refractory to lenalidomide, following a unanimous (11 to 0) FDA Oncologic Drugs Advisory Committee (ODAC) recommendation in support of this new indication. In April 2024, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved a Type II variation for CARVYKTI® for the treatment of adults with relapsed and refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least one prior therapy, including an immunomodulatory agent and a proteasome inhibitor, have demonstrated disease progression on the last therapy, and are refractory to lenalidomide. In September 2022, Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) approved CARVYKTI® for the treatment of adults with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma in patients that have no history of CAR-positive T cell infusion therapy targeting BCMA and who have received three or more lines of therapies, including an immunomodulatory agent, a proteasome inhibitor and an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody, and in whom multiple myeloma has not responded to or has relapsed following the most recent therapy. In July 2026, CARVYKTI® obtained a label expansion in Japan, allowing its use in patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma who have received at least on prior therapy.

CARVYKTI® is a BCMA-directed, autologous T-cell immunotherapy, which involves reprogramming a patient's own T-cells with a transgene encoding chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that directs the CAR-positive T cells to eliminate cells that express BCMA. BCMA is primarily expressed on the surface of malignant multiple myeloma B-lineage cells, as well as late-stage B cells and plasma cells. The CARVYKTI® CAR protein features two BCMA-targeting single domains designed to confer high avidity against human BCMA. Upon binding to BCMA-expressing cells, the CAR promotes T-cell activation, expansion, and elimination of target cells. CARVYKTI® is available in 17 markets worldwide and has been used to treat more than 13,000 patients globally.

In December 2017, Janssen Biotech, Inc., a Johnson & Johnson company, entered into an exclusive worldwide license and collaboration agreement with Legend Biotech USA, Inc. to develop and commercialize CARVYKTI®.

Feeding a crowd during fall gatherings doesn't have to be intimidating with this Beef Pot Pie. A hearty pot pie packed with tender beef and vegetables under a flaky, golden crust – this is a great example of beef's versatility during those chilly evenings with family and friends.
