New analyses on terbinafine susceptibility and MOB-015 published in Journal of Fungi

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Moberg Pharma AB (OMX: MOB) today announcedthe publication of new analyses demonstrating potent antifungal activity of terbinafine against dermatophytes causing onychomycosis. Importantly, mycological cure with MOB-015 was achieved across the full range of baseline terbinafine susceptibility, including in patients with reduced in vitro susceptibility.

The analyses are based on data from the previously completed North American Phase 3 study evaluating daily treatment with MOB-015 for 48 weeks. The analyses included 506 dermatophyte isolates from onychomycosis patients. Only 3.2% baseline isolates showed elevated MIC values (≥0.5 µg/ml). Among MOB-015-treated patients with evaluable end-of-study results, 74.3% achieved mycological cure, including two of three patients with elevated baseline MIC values.

The work was conducted in collaboration with Professor Mahmoud Ghannoum at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

"These results are encouraging, particularly given the increasing attention to antifungal resistance. Terbinafine showed potent activity against the vast majority of isolates, and MOB-015 achieved mycological cure across the full range of baseline susceptibility. The findings further strengthen the scientific foundation for MOB-015," says Amir Tavakkol, CSO of Moberg Pharma.

The article, 'In Vitro Terbinafine Susceptibility of Dermatophytes and Mycological Cure Outcomes from a Multicenter Phase III Onychomycosis Trial', is published in Journal of Fungi, 2026, 12(10), 739 and is available here.

Sweco analysis: Europe needs smarter investment to strengthen water resilience

Sweco analysis: Europe needs smarter investment to strengthen water resilience

STOCKHOLM, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Water infrastructure is a strategic resilience issue for Europe. A new Urban Insight report from Sweco explores how municipalities and water utilities can respond to growing pressures from climate change, drought, flooding, energy shocks, cyber incidents and ageing infrastructure. It calls for a new investment logic that moves beyond reactive replacement towards risk-based renewal and more adaptable water systems.

Water service providers currently invest around €52.5 billion annually in drinking-water and wastewater infrastructure across Europe. Yet many water networks are ageing faster than they are being renewed, while the European Commission estimates an annual investment gap of around €23 billion. The report, Transforming Europe's Water Infrastructure, highlights that the challenge is not simply how much Europe invests, but how effectively that investment is targeted.

"Europe's water infrastructure challenge is not simply a replacement problem; it is a resilience and system-design challenge. The key question is not only how much to invest, but where and when. By prioritising investments according to risk, performance and criticality, municipalities and water utilities can make every investment contribute more to the long-term resilience of the systems they manage," says Mattias Salomonsson, Water Expert at Sweco.

In the report, Sweco experts recommend that municipalities, water utilities and policymakers make four strategic shifts in how water infrastructure is planned, renewed and managed:

- From reactive replacement to risk-based renewal

- From individual assets to interconnected systems

- From fixed investment plans to adaptive pathways

- From data collection to digital and AI-supported decision-making.

Sweco's analysis also illustrates the scale of Europe's renewal challenge. At current reinvestment rates, the implied time to replace drinking-water networks ranges from around 90 years in Belgium to around 1,000 years in Lithuania. In Finland and Poland, it exceeds 500 years, while in several other countries it is between 120 and 200 years.

Recent projects for Sweco clients across Europe demonstrate how the above approach can be applied in practice:

- Jersey: Integrated digital modelling has demonstrated the potential to reduce untreated discharges to St Aubin's Bay by 90%.

- Germany: Dynamic modelling is supporting targeted measures to strengthen wastewater treatment capacity.

- Sweden: Operational data is helping prioritise pumping-station investments.

- The Netherlands: Sweco is supporting the renewal of critical wastewater systems and more resilient flood protection.

PEA targeted for completion in H1 2027; engineering, environmental and community engagement programs advancing in parallel

TORONTO, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Power Metallic Mines Inc. (the "Company" or "Power Metallic") (TSXV: PNPN) (OTCBB: PNPNF) (Frankfurt: IVV1) announces the appointment of BBA Inc. ("BBA") as lead engineering consultant for the Preliminary Economic Assessment ("PEA") of the Lion and Nisk Main deposits at its Nisk Project in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay territory of Québec.

The commissioned study will assess mining and processing options, infrastructure requirements, capital and operating costs, and preliminary project economics. Study mobilization is scheduled for late September, with substantive engineering work commencing in October and completion targeted for the first half of 2027.

Highlights:

- BBA appointed to lead the PEA, bringing multidisciplinary engineering capabilities and experience delivering mining studies in Québec and across Canada.

- GeoVector Management Inc. ("GeoVector") will retain its central geological role in the PEA, with independent qualified persons from SGS Canada Inc. ("SGS") responsible for the geological, mineral resource and metallurgical sections of the technical report.

- The PEA mine design and economic analysis will be based on the September 8, 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate for Lion and Nisk, focusing primarily on the high-grade Lion deposit and evaluating the appropriate roll for the Nisk Main deposit given new metallurgical studies being conducted by SGS expected before year end.

- Ongoing drilling at Lion Deeps, the down-dip extension below the current Lion resource and any additional resource development indicated by the ongoing Muon study will continue in parallel.

- The Resource section of the PEA could accommodate potential future resource growth and contemplate impact on the development concept.

- Environmental baseline work is progressing alongside the technical studies, with a second field season planned for 2027.

- Québec-based specialist firm ethos stratégie Inc. (ethos) has been appointed to support community engagement.

- The PEA and associated environmental, technical and community engagement programs are funded from the Company's existing cash resources.

Terry Lynch, Chief Executive Officer of Power Metallic, commented:

"Appointing BBA puts strong engineering capability behind our next major milestone. Its multidisciplinary capabilities, Québec presence and experience advancing mining projects through successive study stages make it well suited to lead the PEA.

"Alongside that external capacity, Chris's appointment earlier this year was a deliberate step to strengthen the Company's internal capacity. His combination of practical open pit and underground mining experience, mining technology leadership and capital markets expertise gives Power Metallic the internal capability to direct the study and carry its findings into the next stage of development."

BBA brings recent, relevant experience in the region, including preliminary economic assessments and advanced study work for base and precious metals projects across northern Quebec, spanning both open pit and underground mining scenarios. The firm's project teams have also supported feasibility, permitting and construction planning for gold-copper developments accessible via the same regional infrastructure corridor as the Nisk Project, including the all-weather Route du Nord. This experience reflects BBA's depth in regional infrastructure planning, multidisciplinary study coordination and the assessment of development options for northern Canadian projects.

"Northern Quebec projects come with real logistical and technical complexity, and that's exactly where our teams add value," said Isabelle Leblanc, Vice President, Mining & Metals at BBA. "We understand the region, the infrastructure constraints and what it takes to move a project from study to construction. That's the kind of partner we aim to be for Power Metallic Mines."

Study Objectives and Scope

The PEA will use the mineral resource estimate announced on 8 September 2026 as the basis for mine design and economic analysis.

Lion will form the principal basis of the development study. Early work will confirm the preferred mining sequence and whether and how Nisk Main should be incorporated. The broader study will assess mining and processing configurations, infrastructure requirements, capital and operating costs, and preliminary project economics. An initial development configuration has not yet been selected.

The Company's objective is to establish a credible and appropriately scaled initial development case, with attention to capital requirements, operating complexity and surface disturbance. The study will also consider how the project design could accommodate potential future resource growth without making that growth necessary to support the initial case.

Results from drilling completed after the September 8, 2026, resource estimate's data cut-off, including those announced in the September 22, 2026, release will be reviewed with SGS and BBA as the study advances. This work will determine how the results should be reflected in future mineral resource updates and subsequent study stages, while maintaining a defined basis for the PEA mine design and economic analysis.

The commissioned work will also identify the additional technical investigations and testwork required to support subsequent feasibility studies.

Christopher Beal, Vice President of Operations, commented:

"Our immediate priority is to establish the basis of design so that the broader engineering can proceed efficiently. The PEA will then develop a technically grounded initial development case, define its capital and operating requirements, and identify the work needed to advance the project into subsequent feasibility studies.

"On the Company's side, we will coordinate the engineering with the environmental program, community engagement and ongoing exploration. That coordination is important both to the quality of the PEA and to maintaining momentum after it is completed."

Mr. Beal is a mining engineer, CFA charterholder and Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, with more than 15 years of experience spanning mine engineering and operations, mining technology, corporate development and capital markets.

Environmental Planning and Community Engagement

The environmental baseline program commenced in January 2026 following completion of an earlier desktop study. The first field season is being conducted from May to October 2026, with a second planned for summer 2027.

The program is led by Nemaska Resources, supported by the professional resources and expertise of Groupe Synergis, which became part of BBA in May 2025. Bringing the environmental and engineering teams within the same wider organisation should support coordination as infrastructure options are developed and assessed.

The baseline information will inform project planning and support subsequent preparation of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment. Survey coverage will continue to be reviewed as results are received and the project configuration develops.

Power Metallic has also appointed ethos, a boutique specialist consulting firm based in Rouyn-Noranda, Québec, to support community engagement as the Nisk project advances. Ethos brings experience in Québec's mining sector, public and Indigenous affairs, stakeholder engagement and sustainability strategy.

Ethos will support stakeholder mapping and engagement planning and assist the Company in building relationships with communities, local businesses and government representatives. Ethos will also advise the Company on integrating community priorities, traditional knowledge and relevant environmental and social considerations into project planning.

Image: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14ZwN00c58IgoBgxZuRG9C8BrDC3IVgOo/view?usp=drive_link

Background to development

Securing dependable transport routes has recently become an urgent priority in supply chains to North America due to such factors as navigation restrictions in the Panama Canal caused by climate change. Against a backdrop of challenges that include longer ocean freight lead times attributable to geopolitical risks and delays in U.S. rail transport, there is also a growing need for rapid and punctual transport as well as advanced security measures after arrival in the United States.

To answer these market needs and to support business continuity planning (BCP), NIPPON EXPRESS HOLDINGS has expanded the capabilities of "NX Ocean Fast Track" launched this past June, adding "US 5-Day Cross" as an optional service designed to enhance delivery quality and reduce lead times following entry into the United States.

Overview of "US 5-Day Cross"

Building on the strengths of "NX Ocean Fast Track," which ensures container delivery from the Port of Los Angeles within 24 hours, this service combines priority transshipment at NX Group warehouses with a team-driver system for long-haul transport to offer fast and reliable shipping to locations across the United States. The use of multifunctional security devices also provides greater visibility into transport status and quality.

Details: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1D6ZTveZbTqNECbhiz4OgZoLmXTGdpQqI/view?usp=drive_link

Features

- Nationwide delivery within five days that balances transport quality and on-time performance

The NX Group prioritizes transshipment operations at its own warehouses near the Port of Los Angeles. Two-driver teams are employed on long-haul routes for non-stop operations, ensuring both transport quality and on-time delivery while reliably delivering shipments from Los Angeles to destinations across the United States within five days.

- Advanced security utilizing state-of-the-art devices

Highly accurate real-time tracking is made possible by attaching dedicated multifunctional devices to cargo during transit. The "Light Sensor & Alert" feature installed in these devices uses a light sensor to detect and alert users to unauthorized opening, reducing the risk of theft. Additionally, built-in sensors continuously record and visualize environmental data such as temperature, humidity and impact during transit. The Group thus comprehensively monitors not only where cargo is located but also whether it is being transported safely.

The NX Group will continue leveraging its global network and diverse modes of transport to create new value that meets customers' increasingly sophisticated and diverse logistics needs.

Cymulate Receives Frost & Sullivan's 2026 Indian Competitive Strategy Leadership Recognition for Advancing Continuous Security Validation

The recognition highlights Cymulate's competitive strategy, continuous innovation, and customer-centric approach to strengthening cyber resilience across complex enterprise environments.

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan pleased to announce that Cymulate has received the 2026 Indian Competitive Strategy Leadership Recognition in the breach and attack simulation industry for its outstanding achievements in continuous security validation, platform innovation, and customer impact. The recognition highlights Cymulate's leadership in advancing proactive cybersecurity strategies, strengthening enterprise cyber resilience, and helping organizations validate the effectiveness of their security controls in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Frost & Sullivan evaluates companies through a rigorous benchmarking process across two core dimensions: strategy effectiveness and strategy execution. Cymulate excelled in both, demonstrating its ability to align its strategic initiatives with evolving enterprise cybersecurity requirements while executing with innovation, consistency, and scale.

"The Cymulate platform differentiates itself through one of the industry's broadest attack libraries, covering a wide range of tactics, techniques, and procedures across email security, endpoint security, data protection, cloud environments, and other critical domains. Its rapid deployment enables organizations to begin simulations quickly, accelerating time to value and helping security teams identify configuration weaknesses and prioritize remediation without lengthy implementation cycles," said Rajarshi Dhar, Associate Director at Frost & Sullivan.

Guided by a long-term strategy that centers on continuous security validation and threat exposure management, Cymulate has played an important role in advancing the breach and attack simulation market in India. The company introduced continuous attack simulation to enterprises at a time when penetration testing and red teaming were the primary approaches to offensive security assessment, helping establish a better understanding of the value of continuously validating deployed security controls.

Innovation remains central to Cymulate's approach. Its threat exposure validation platform enables organizations to simulate real-world cyberattacks, assess the effectiveness of security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and prioritize remediation efforts. With broad attack coverage across email, endpoints, data protection, cloud environments, infrastructure, and other critical domains, the platform provides enterprises with objective evidence of their cyber resilience across increasingly interconnected IT and eligible OT environments.

Cymulate's commitment to customer success strengthens its position in the Indian cybersecurity market. Through a combination of local expertise, a growing partner ecosystem, technical workshops, knowledge transfer, and continuous operational support, the company helps customers progressively expand their validation capabilities as their cybersecurity priorities evolve. Its modular architecture enables organizations to strengthen coverage over time without replacing existing security infrastructure, while integrations with enterprise cybersecurity platforms support more efficient remediation workflows and informed security decision-making.

A customer-centric approach has contributed to customer retention exceeding 90%, according to the company, while its platform has demonstrated measurable operational value across complex enterprise environments. By enabling organizations to continuously validate newly disclosed vulnerabilities and emerging attack techniques, Cymulate helps security teams move beyond point-in-time assessments toward a more proactive and evidence-based approach to cyber resilience.

Frost & Sullivan commends Cymulate for setting a high standard in competitive strategy, continuous innovation, and market responsiveness. Through its comprehensive attack coverage, rapid deployment capabilities, ecosystem integrations, and focus on long-term customer outcomes, the company is helping shape the future of the breach and attack simulation industry and continuous security validation.

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents the Competitive Strategy Leadership Recognition to a company that demonstrates outstanding strategy development and implementation, resulting in measurable improvements in competitive positioning and customer value. The recognition highlights forward-thinking organizations that are reshaping their industries through innovation, strategic excellence, and sustained growth.

Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute announces first I20 Summit alongside G20 Leaders' Summit, targets US$5tn capital deployment into US

- Five-day event set for Miami (11–15 December 2026) alongside the G20 Leaders' Summit at Trump National Doral.

- Convenes global sovereign, pension, and institutional allocators representing every G20 and allied nation.

- SWFI targets US$5 trillion in capital deployment into key American growth sectors.

NEW DELHI, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWFI) has officially announced G20 Investment Week and the inaugural I20 Summit, taking place in Miami from 11–15 December 2026. Held alongside the official G20 Leaders' Summit at Trump National Doral, this invitation-only gathering aims to direct US$5 trillion in long-term institutional capital into the United States.

The five-day program opens with a welcome dinner on 11 December, followed by specialized investor days, and concludes on 15 December with Global Leaders Day and the GOOD Fellows Awards. Over three core days, SWFI will host parallel sector sessions bringing sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, endowments, central bank reserve managers, and state officials into direct alignment. American governors and economic development authorities will present shovel-ready projects across twelve key growth sectors, including energy & LNG, SI & data center infrastructure, critical minerals, advanced manufacturing, real estate, private credit, and digital assets.

Announced at iBRICS 2026 in New Delhi, the initiative engages allocators across the Global South and allied economies spanning G20 members, the European Union, the African Union, and invited guest nations such as Qatar, Singapore, the UAE, Norway, and Finland.

Lakshmi Narayanan Ramanujam, Chairman, SWFI said: "The G20 sets the direction of the world economy. The I20 is where capital decides whether to follow. We unveiled this project at iBRICS 2026 in New Delhi because capital does not belong to a bloc. It looks for scale, rule of law and returns, and no market offers more of all three than the United States."

Chip Rogers, Advisor and spokesperson to SWFI, said: "American states have projects that are permitted and ready for capital. What they rarely get is a week in the same city as the funds that can finance them. Miami gives them that week."
