Bybit Supports Stocks Trading, Giving Eligible Global Users Access to 1,000+ U.S. Stocks and ETFs

DUBAI, UAE, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bybit, the New Financial Platform trusted by more than 80 million users worldwide, announced that stocks are now available for trading through Bybit, giving eligible users access to more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs, including Apple (AAPL), NVIDIA (NVDA), Tesla (TSLA), Micron Technology (MU) and the Invesco QQQ ETF (QQQ).

The development expands Bybit's multi-asset platform, bringing access to U.S. equities alongside its existing digital asset and traditional market offerings. Eligible users in permitted jurisdictions who have completed the required KYC verification can trade supported U.S. stocks and ETFs using USDC.

"Stocks are an important part of our evolution into The New Financial Platform. Financial markets have long been separated across different products and platforms, but users increasingly expect a more connected experience," said Ben Zhou, Co-founder and CEO of Bybit. "With stocks now available through Bybit, we are doing more than adding another asset class. We are giving people broader access to financial markets and greater freedom to pursue opportunities."

Access to the U.S. Stocks and ETFs

Stocks trading enables eligible users to buy and sell supported U.S. stocks and ETFs using USDC, bringing equity exposure into the same environment used for digital assets. Unlike price derivatives or synthetic instruments, Stocks trading gives eligible users an economic interest in the underlying securities they purchase.

Orders are routed through Bybit's regulated brokerage infrastructure and executed through Alpaca, a U.S. self-clearing broker-dealer and a global leader in agent-first infrastructure. Additionally, the underlying securities are held in custody by Alpaca.

"Bybit's expansion into U.S. stocks and ETFs is a major step forward in offering its global users a more complete, multi-asset trading experience," said Yoshi Yokokawa, Co-Founder and CEO of Alpaca. "We're thrilled to partner with Bybit and help power this next wave of global market access."

Key features at launch include:

- 1,000+ U.S. stocks and ETFs, including widely traded companies with fractional shares available for eligible securities

- Trade with USDC, allowing eligible users to fund stock purchases directly from their Bybit account

- Direct economic exposure to underlying stocks, rather than derivatives or synthetic price exposure

- Allowing users to manage eligible crypto and equity positions within the Bybit ecosystem

- Corporate-action support, including cash and stock dividends and stock splits

- 24/5 trading, providing access during U.S. pre-market, regular and after-hours sessions, subject to product availability

- Zero commission, with no trading commissions charged on eligible stock purchases and sales

Eligible holders of supported U.S. stocks and ETFs can receive the economic benefits associated with their holdings, including cash and stock dividends, subject to applicable security and corporate-action terms. Cash dividends are converted from USD into USDC and credited to the user's Unified Trading Account (UTA), while stock dividends are reflected directly in the user's position.

Stock splits are also reflected in users' holdings in accordance with the applicable corporate action. Voting rights are planned for launch in a future phase.

Building a Broader Multi-Asset Platform

The addition of stock services adds to the exchange's growing range of products across traditional and digital markets. Alongside crypto spot and derivatives trading, Bybit offers access to traditional markets through its MT5 platform, tokenized equities and TradFi perpetuals.

"We believe the next chapter of finance is one where the walls between crypto and traditional markets no longer exist. Bybit is built to operate in both worlds and proves that tokenizing real-world assets at scale is not a future ambition. It is something we are delivering today," added Ben.

Pikl CEO, Louise Birritteri, named as One to Watch in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders for 2026

NORWICH, England, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Pikl, the revenue growth partner for the travel market, backed by insurance, today announced that its CEO and Founder, Louise Birritteri, has been recognised as One to Watch in The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme for 2026.

Louise Birritteri founded Pikl because she saw a gap in how the short-term rental market was protected. She believed that insurance could do more than simply protect against risk, rather it could enable growth. Identifying a systematic problem that property management companies couldn't offer guests flexible cancellation without absorbing significant financial risk, Pikl created a new category of insurance-enabled business models to solve this problem, allowing property management companies (PMCs) to offer flexible cancellations that turn lost revenue potential into growth opportunities.

This enabled Pikl to transition from a niche insurer into a global growth enabler for the short-term rental marketplace. In doing so, Pikl has helped define a new category the market now recognises, resulting in 7x growth from 2024-2025. Today, Pikl has captured 20% of the UK market, partnered with some of the largest enterprise PMCs globally, and enabled revenue growth of up to 2.1x for partners, generating 2,024% gross written premium growth from PMCs from 2023 to 2025.

"Growth comes from understanding risk well enough to see the opportunity in it, and that idea has shaped everything we've built at Pikl," said Louise Birritteri, CEO and Founder of Pikl. "Our team now helps property managers across around 20% of the UK short-term rental market offer guests flexibility and grow with confidence, and the next stage is taking that into new markets. Being named One to Watch by LDC and The Times is a credit to everyone at Pikl who helped get us here."

The LDC Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme was created by private equity investor LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, in partnership with The Times. The Ones to Watch are leaders whose achievements and ambition have already set them apart. Each has made significant progress and shown the potential to take their business even further in the years ahead.

John Garner, Managing Partner at LDC, added: "This year's Ones to Watch have already achieved a great deal, but it is their ambition for what comes next that sets them apart. They are building exciting businesses and have demonstrated the ambition needed to thrive. I would like to congratulate them all on their success so far. We look forward to following their progress and seeing where their ambition takes them next."

LONDON, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Nuvion, the AI-powered global bank for businesses and platforms, has announced a partnership with EbonyLife Place London, the new home for African and Black film, culture and creativity in the UK.

The partnership was announced to coincide with the official opening of EbonyLife Place London in Nine Elms.

A first-of-its-kind destination and home to the UK's only cinema dedicated exclusively to African and Black film, the venue also brings together art, fashion, retail, music and cultural experiences under one roof, creating a permanent London destination for African storytelling and creativity.

The venue opened with the support of the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, and will host Film Africa screenings from 26 to 30 October.

Through its global accounts, cross-border payment and payout capabilities, and fiat and stablecoin rails, Nuvion can help businesses operating across markets receive payments, pay partners and manage funds across multiple currencies from a single platform.

Mo Abudu, Founder and CEO of EbonyLife Group, added: "EbonyLife Place London is about creating a new home for African and Black culture in London, bringing together food, fashion, art, music and, of course, film under one roof. It also demonstrates the extraordinary soft power of our culture to the world, and our invitation is open to all.

"We are delighted to partner with Nuvion, creating opportunities to connect the founders, creators and businesses behind our stories with the tools and networks that can support their ambitions globally."

Foresee's product portfolio includes late and early-stage programs. For FP-001, 42 mg 6-month LAI formulation in central precocious puberty (CPP), the Casppian Phase 3 clinical trial successfully reached its primary endpoint in December 2025 (p-value = 0.0005), with an NDA submission to the U.S. FDA planned in the second half of 2026. Foresee is currently building its commercial infrastructure and preparing to launch FP-001 in CPP itself in the U.S. and Taiwan. The Phase 3 clinical trial of CAMCEVI® 6-month LAI formulation for premenopausal breast cancer in China has been completed, and in May 2026, the licensing partner submitted a marketing authorization application for leuprolide injectable emulsion for the additional indication of premenopausal breast cancer, which has been accepted by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) for substantive review. Building on the success of CAMCEVI's formulation development, Foresee's proprietary SIF technology platform is now expanding into the central nervous system (CNS) field, which represents a potential multi-billion-dollar market. Two CNS-targeted long-acting injectable (LAI) candidates, FP-018 (Cariprazine LAI) and FP-016 (VMAT2 LAI), are expected to enter human clinical trials in late 2027. Aderamastat (FP-025), a highly selective oral MMP-12 inhibitor targeting inflammatory and fibrotic diseases, successfully completed a Phase 2 proof-of-concept study in allergic asthmatic patients. Future development of aderamastat will be in rare immune-fibrotic diseases, including cardiac sarcoidosis. Linvemastat (FP-020), a follow-on oral MMP-12 inhibitor, has completed a Phase 1 study in healthy volunteers, with development targeted in severe asthma and COPD. In January 2026, the global rights for the MMP-12 Inhibitor series were exclusively licensed to Primevera Therapeutics LLC for all subsequent R&D. Mirivadelgat (FP-045) is a highly selective oral small molecule allosteric activator of ALDH2, a mitochondrial enzyme, for which the Phase 2 WINDWARD study in pulmonary hypertension-interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD) patients was initiated in the second quarter of 2025. www.foreseepharma.com

CLASSYS Appoints Former Bain & Company Partner Jung-hee Bae as Chief Commercial Officer to Accelerate Global Expansion and Growth

- Appoints Vice President Jung-hee Bae to lead the newly established Go-to-Market (GTM) Center, overseeing domestic and international sales and marketing

- AI and data-driven marketing and operations expert to spearhead expansion across the Americas, China and Europe while reinforcing the company's leadership in South Korea

- Latest executive appointment reinforces CLASSYS's global leadership team following the appointments of CEO Jun-oh Yoon and CTO Taek-Soo Kim

SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CLASSYS Inc. (KOSDAQ: 214150), a global medical aesthetics platform company led by CEO Jun-oh Yoon, announced today that it has established the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and appointed Jung-hee Bae, a former Bain & Company partner, as Vice President, CCO and Head of its Go-to-Market (GTM) Center.

Following CEO Jun-oh Yoon's appointment in July, CLASSYS undertook a major organizational restructuring to accelerate global expansion and growth with a greater focus on markets and customers. As part of this restructuring, the Marketing, Domestic Sales and Overseas Sales Divisions were brought together under the newly established GTM Center. Bae will lead the center, integrating the company's sales and marketing capabilities to spearhead its global expansion.

Over the past 20 years, CLASSYS has expanded gradually into international markets, introducing products and entering new regions in stages. Since CEO Yoon took office, the company has been overhauling its operations to establish a standardized approach to branding, products, positioning and global launches, enabling it to accelerate expansion and growth.

Bae's appointment follows that of CEO Jun-oh Yoon, who previously led M&A and portfolio strategy at Samsung Group and Samsung Electronics, and CTO Taek-Soo Kim, who holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University and previously worked at Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT). With these appointments, CLASSYS aims to further consolidate its position as a leader in the global medical aesthetics industry and assemble a world-class executive team spanning strategy, technology and execution to accelerate growth.

Bae graduated from Korea University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She began her career as a systems engineer at LG CNS before working at Monitor Group and Deloitte Consulting and later becoming a partner at Bain & Company. She has helped clients expand and transform their businesses across more than 30 countries through new brand launches, entry into emerging markets and the development of distribution channels. Most recently, she led Bain & Company's AI and digital strategy practice, spearheading the transformation of data-driven operations at global companies.

With Bae joining the executive team, CLASSYS plans to move quickly on three priorities: accelerating entry into and growth in key international markets, including the Americas, China and Europe; reinforcing its leadership in South Korea; and advancing data- and AI-driven GTM operations and marketing. These efforts are intended to help the company achieve its $1 billion revenue target ahead of 2030.

"CLASSYS is a leader in the global medical aesthetics industry, with end-to-end solutions across energy-based devices (EBDs) and a unique ability to deliver personalized, differentiated combination treatment experiences tailored to individual customers," said CEO Jun-oh Yoon. "By establishing the GTM Center, we will accelerate expansion and growth, bringing CLASSYS's advanced technologies and products to customers around the world more quickly."

"CCO Jung-hee Bae is well positioned to help shape CLASSYS's 'Next Stage,'" Yoon added. "Her appointment significantly strengthens our leadership capabilities as we seek to take CLASSYS to the next level through innovation in global sales and marketing."

"CLASSYS brings together differentiated products and technologies valued in markets worldwide, along with an exceptional team of professionals," said CCO Jung-hee Bae. "By drawing on these strengths, we will further consolidate CLASSYS's leadership in the global medical aesthetics market and leverage that position to rapidly transform the customer experience."

"My first priority will be to visit our key markets and listen directly to customers and hospitals," she added.

CLASSYS offers a broad portfolio of energy-based devices (EBDs), including Shurink Universe, a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) system; Volnewmer, a monopolar radiofrequency (RF) device; and Quadessy, a microneedling RF device. International sales account for approximately 76% of total revenue. The company aims to achieve $1 billion in revenue by 2030 and become the world's leading medical aesthetics platform company.

Global business leaders share ideas on AI-driven growth in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A news report from english.shanghai.gov.cn

Shanghai should better leverage artificial intelligence to integrate services with manufacturing and consumption and nurture more growth engines, experts and executives from leading multinational companies said.

The comments were made during the 38th meeting of the International Business Leaders' Advisory Council for the Mayor of Shanghai, held on Oct 11 under the theme of promoting innovation-driven development of the service sector.

Initiated in 1989, the IBLAC has grown into a think tank for Shanghai mayors, with 42 multinational executives from 14 countries attending this year's edition.

Shanghai has a unique advantage to better leverage technology thanks to its strong industrial base, its close ties with the rest of the Yangtze River Delta region and a mature service industry, Mohamed Kande, global chairman of PwC, said.

He suggested Shanghai connect technologies, research and capital with international service providers to address real-economy challenges.

Sir Martin Sorrell, founder and executive chairman of S4 Capital and former chairman of IBLAC, said that Shanghai is becoming a testing ground for global AI governance and the intelligent transformation of the services sector.

For the global service sector, AI has seen its role transitioning from an efficiency tool to a "value-chain restructurer". Shanghai should thus further align with international rules, facilitate data flow, open up more application scenarios, build up a more talent-friendly ecosystem and seek international coordination to make it a global innovation hub for AI-empowered services, he suggested.

Applauding Shanghai's strong manufacturing foundation as well as a rich pool of AI companies, professional service providers, multinational companies and long-term capital, Zhang Lei, founder and chairman of Hillhouse Investment, said that the city should attach greater importance to the real deployment of AI.

More key scenarios that affect companies' operations should be opened up. Shanghai should also cultivate a group of forward-deployed engineers and professional service enterprises that understand both AI and industries. In this way, more AI applications and service capabilities successfully tested in the Chinese market can go global from Shanghai, he said.

According to Gary S. Guthart, executive chair of the board of directors at Intuitive Surgical, combining high-quality medical data with AI and robotics can create new frontiers in medical care. Shanghai has unique advantages for such transformation by piloting the development of high-quality datasets for robot-assisted surgeries, experimenting with new approaches for secure medical data sharing, and building a "Shanghai model" for the responsible use of medical data that can be replicated nationwide.

Jean-Paul Agon, chairman of L'Oreal Group, believed that AI can provide consumers with tailor-made products by connecting the online and offline shopping experiences. He added that Shanghai should improve its business ecosystem to become a hub connecting global innovation rules.

UK pathology provider Diagnexia chooses Sectra to speed up pathology reporting for the NHS

LINKÖPING, Sweden, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- International medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company Sectra (STO: SECT B) has signed an agreement with Diagnexia in the UK to deliver its service for advanced share and collaborate workflows. Diagnexia will now be able to receive, send and report on pathology cases digitally from NHS organisations that need support from external specialists. This supports the development of national telepathology networks in the UK and widens access to specialist expertise for patients.

"UK pathology has spent a decade building digital capability one site at a time. Sectra has already done the connecting work across more than 500 institutions in radiology. Joining that network means the groundwork is done before the conversation starts," says Donal O'Shea, Chief Executive Officer at Diagnexia.

Diagnexia is a UK provider of digital pathology services and a diagnostic partner to more than 30 NHS organizations. It gives NHS services access to over 250 GMC-registered specialist pathologists for routine, urgent and specialist cases, backlog clearance and MDT attendance. Its services integrate directly with Trusts' existing LIS and PACS. Diagnexia runs a UKAS-accredited (ISO 15189:2022) histology laboratory in Oxford and digital accessioning facilities in Oxford and Exeter, both registered with the CQC.

The service, Sectra Image Exchange Portal (Sectra IEP), is a cloud-based, vendor-neutral platform for exchanging and collaborating around medical images. It is already used by more than 500 institutions, mainly within radiology. Following a substantial modernization, healthcare providers can now use the service for advanced workflows. It is also open to specialties other than radiology, and customers can go beyond image sharing to manage workflows between organisations.

"Every new connection strengthens the network, and with Diagnexia now joining IEP, a national telepathology network is rapidly becoming reality. For hospitals already connected to IEP, the benefit is immediate: Diagnexia's reporting capacity is now accessible through the same connection and workflows they use today. No new integration, no separate supplier onboarding, and no additional infrastructure. Hospitals can quickly tap into specialist expertise and additional reporting capacity from Diagnexia, helping them manage demand and reduce reporting backlogs," says Jane Rendall, Managing Director for Sectra UK and Ireland.

The contract was signed in the second quarter of Sectra's 2026/2027 fiscal year and renews annually, covering up to 100,000 cases in the first year.

NHS pathology services are handling growing case volumes with a limited number of reporting consultants, and increasing subspecialisation means the pathologist best suited to a case is often at another organisation. Sending work to external capacity providers today typically relies on bespoke arrangements between individual laboratories, including the transportation of physical glass slides. This slows reporting times and creates administrative overhead for both the sending and receiving laboratories. With Sectra's service, a case can be created as a job directly from a laboratory's worklist, delegated to a receiving organisation, and the completed report returned to the referring organisation's own records.
