TULSA Abstracts at the 15th Interventional MRI Symposium Strengthen Real-World Evidence, Clinical Differentiation, and Platform Expansion Opportunity

TORONTO, Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Profound Medical Corp. (NASDAQ:PROF; TSX:PRN) (“Profound” or the “Company”) today announced that five abstracts presented at the 15th Interventional MRI (“iMRI”) Symposium in Boston, Massachusetts, reinforce the growing body of evidence supporting the real-world performance, clinical differentiation, and platform expansion potential of the TULSA Procedure™ performed using the TULSA-PRO® system.

Collectively, the presentations underscore three important dimensions of TULSA’s progress:

- Real-world validation: Findings from the CARE Registry and single-center experiences at Mayo Clinic in Florida and Rochester provide complementary evidence of TULSA outcomes across multiple treatment strategies and clinical settings.

- Clinical differentiation: Results from the CAPTAIN randomized controlled trial demonstrate statistically superior preservation of erectile function together with pad-free continence with the TULSA Procedure compared with robotic radical prostatectomy (“robotic RP”) at six months.

-

Platform expansion potential: Technical validation on the Siemens 0.55T Free.Max MRI platform demonstrates the feasibility of delivering TULSA on a lower-field-strength MRI system, potentially broadening equipment options and reducing infrastructure barriers for future TULSA-PRO® adoption.*

“These presentations illustrate how TULSA’s evidence base is evolving across the dimensions that matter most: meaningful functional outcomes for patients, reproducibility in routine clinical practice, and the potential to extend our technology to a broader range of iMRI platforms,” said Mathieu Burtnyk, Chief Technology Officer of Profound Medical. “Together, they reinforce the differentiation of TULSA-PRO and its potential to support broader clinical adoption over time.”

Mayo Clinic Florida: Real-World Clinical Experience (Page 88)

This analysis reports experience from one of the early U.S. centers to incorporate TULSA-PRO into routine clinical practice, including 58 patients with up to 4.5 years of follow-up.

Patients underwent a range of treatment approaches, including focal, hemi-gland, subtotal and whole-gland ablation. Serious adverse events were uncommon, with no strictures or fistulas reported. Reported functional outcomes included 100% pad-free continence, 94% leak-free continence and preservation of erections sufficient for penetration in 87.5% of men beyond 12 months.

Median PSA nadir was 0.9 ng/mL, and 12% of patients required secondary prostate cancer treatment during follow-up.

These findings add longer-term clinical experience from routine practice to the growing TULSA evidence base, complementing the randomized CAPTAIN trial and multicenter CARE Registry. The results should be interpreted in the context of the study’s single-center design, patient selection and treatment heterogeneity.

Mayo Clinic Rochester: Prospective Single-Center Study (Page 89)

This prospective study evaluated 41 patients with biopsy-proven localized prostate cancer treated with the TULSA Procedure.

Mean PSA declined from 7.7 ng/mL at baseline to approximately 2.3–2.6 ng/mL, representing a sustained reduction of approximately 62%–66% through one year. The safety profile was generally manageable, with most adverse events involving urinary or sexual function.

Biopsy-confirmed recurrence was reported in 22% of patients, including 12% with in-field recurrence and 10% with out-of-field recurrence. The authors concluded that the TULSA Procedure provided substantial, sustained PSA reduction with a generally favorable safety profile.

The findings add prospective evidence from another high-volume Mayo Clinic center, complementing the broader CARE Registry and the randomized CAPTAIN trial. Together, these studies contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of TULSA’s performance across clinical settings, while underscoring the importance of continued follow-up to characterize oncologic durability.

CARE Registry: Treatment Extent, PSA Response and Catheterization Duration (Page 43)

This analysis evaluated 197 patients treated with the TULSA Procedure across five centers, with a median follow-up of 24 months.

The findings demonstrate the flexibility of TULSA treatment planning, spanning focal, subtotal and whole-gland ablation. As expected, more extensive ablation was associated with deeper prostate-specific antigen (“PSA”) reductions: median PSA nadir was 0.23 ng/mL following whole-gland treatment, compared with 0.60 ng/mL after subtotal treatment and 1.10 ng/mL after focal treatment.

Biochemical recurrence rates did not differ significantly across treatment extents in this analysis. Less extensive treatments were also associated with shorter catheterization duration, decreasing from a median of 13.5 days following whole-gland treatment to seven days following subtotal or focal treatment.

These findings highlight a key feature of the TULSA Procedure: the ability to individualize treatment extent, balancing the objectives of malignant tissue ablation, functional preservation and recovery according to patient needs and clinical judgment.

CAPTAIN Randomized Trial: TULSA Procedure vs. Robotic Radical Prostatectomy — Six-Month Outcomes (Page 42)

CAPTAIN (A Comparison of TULSA Procedure vs. Radical Prostatectomy in Participants with Localized Prostate Cancer) is the first fully enrolled, multicenter randomized controlled trial directly comparing the TULSA Procedure with robotic RP in patients with localized intermediate-risk prostate cancer.

As previously reported, whole-gland TULSA demonstrated perioperative advantages over robotic RP, including no blood loss, no overnight hospitalization, faster recovery and earlier return to work. Hospitalizations for complications were also substantially lower with whole-gland TULSA than with robotic RP (0.7% versus 6.3%).

At the primary six-month functional endpoint, whole-gland TULSA achieved statistically superior outcomes, with patients more than twice as likely to preserve both erectile function and pad-free continence (risk ratio of 2.1; p=0.004). Whole-gland TULSA also demonstrated statistically superior preservation of flaccid penile length at one month compared with robotic RP.

While oncologic outcomes continue to mature, these findings provide important randomized evidence of whole-gland TULSA’s potential to improve peri-operative outcomes and preserve quality of life.

Technical Validation of TULSA on the Siemens 0.55T Free.Max MRI Platform (Page 87)

Investigators successfully validated the technical feasibility of the TULSA Procedure on Siemens’ 0.55T Free.Max MRI platform, a lower-field-strength MRI system that may potentially offer additional options for future TULSA-PRO installations.*

The evaluation incorporated new three-dimensional thermometry protocols that improved temperature-measurement precision by 40% compared with conventional approaches. Temperature-monitoring performance approached that of conventional 1.5T systems, with baseline uncertainty of approximately ±1.1°C. Prostate anatomy and surrounding structures remained clearly visible using biparametric MRI protocols, while simulated treatments demonstrated targeting accuracy of 1.0 ± 0.9 mm.

This technical validation represents a potentially important step toward expanding the range of MRI systems on which TULSA could be deployed. If translated into clinical and commercial use, compatibility with lower-cost, wide-bore MRI systems could help reduce equipment-related infrastructure barriers, broaden the potential TULSA-PRO installed-base opportunity and mitigate susceptibility artifacts associated with implants such as hip prostheses.

*Technical feasibility does not establish U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance, clinical validation or commercial availability on this combined TULSA-PRO>Siemens 0.55T Free.Max platform. Any statements regarding future deployment remain subject to further development and applicable regulatory requirements.

Building the Evidence and Expanding the Opportunity

“Our focus is to translate TULSA’s clinical differentiation into a broader opportunity for patients, physicians and healthcare providers,” said Profound’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Arun Menawat. “The evidence presented at this year’s iMRI Symposium reinforces the potential of the TULSA Procedure becoming a mainstream treatment modality across the entire prostate disease spectrum, while our technical progress on lower-field-strength Siemens Free.Max points to a potential path toward reducing potential infrastructure barriers to more widespread adoption over time.”

Slimmer Smart Glasses, Full Eye Tracking: Viewpointsystem Brings the Entire Pipeline to the Edge

- Viewpointsystem is the first to bring to market a complete image-based eye-tracking pipeline that runs directly on an ultra-low-power microcontroller (MCU) inside the glasses frame

- The MCU powers Viewpointsystem's compact, ready-to-integrate Digital Iris® Module, delivering 140 Hz eye tracking without requiring a powerful application processor

- Full edge processing reduces power consumption, heat and hardware requirements, enabling up to 15 times longer battery runtime and slimmer, lighter smart glasses

VIENNA, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Viewpointsystem gives smart-glasses manufacturers (OEMs) a new way to add advanced eye tracking without compromising on battery life, heat or design. Until now, power consumption, heat generation and limited space have made it difficult to bring eye tracking into lightweight smart glasses. Viewpointsystem's new implementation of its Digital Iris Module, powered by an ultra-low-power Ensemble MCU from edge AI pioneer Alif Semiconductor, removes this hurdle: the market-ready module runs the entire image-based eye-tracking pipeline at 140 Hz directly inside the glasses frame.

This MCU-based architecture makes integration considerably easier: OEMs no longer need a high-end application processor for eye tracking, yet the module remains fully compatible with existing application processors. Thanks to its integrated neural processing unit (NPU) for efficient AI processing, the programmable MCU can also run additional AI-based functions. At the same time, the architecture lowers power and processing demands and keeps sensitive eye-camera images safely on the chip.

"Eye tracking belongs in smart glasses, and it has to fit into the thinnest, lightest designs. By moving the entire processing pipeline to the edge, we're giving smart-glasses OEMs the flexibility to integrate eye tracking across a wider range of designs, with or without a high-end application processor," said Nils Berger, CEO and Founder of Viewpointsystem.

How the Technology Works

Conventional eye-tracking systems typically transfer images from eye-facing cameras to a main application processor in the glasses or a connected device. Processing these image streams consumes power, generates heat and adds to system complexity – a particular challenge for compact, battery-powered eyewear.

Viewpointsystem's Digital Iris Module combines two optimally positioned eye-facing cameras with the MCU in a compact hardware unit designed to fit into the bridge of the glasses frame. The MCU handles the complete processing pipeline, from image preprocessing and NPU-accelerated gaze calculation to real-time detection of eye events such as blinks, fixations and saccades. Instead of transmitting camera images, it delivers ready-to-use gaze data for real-time attention and focus tracking, as well as applications assessing brain health, cognitive changes and neurological function.

Key Benefits for Smart-Glasses OEMs

- Lower power consumption, longer battery life: Performance measurements indicate up to 15 times longer battery runtime compared with conventional eye-tracking processing on a connected device. Reduced heat generation further supports compact, comfortable designs.

- Performance on the edge: The MCU delivers eye-tracking rates of 140 Hz, with the potential to reach up to 400 Hz depending on customer requirements and use cases. It also acquires and fuses data from additional on-board sensors, including an ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and accelerometer, directly on the edge, while freeing the main processor for other tasks or low-power states.

- Easy integration and design flexibility: The ready-to-integrate Digital Iris Module combines hardware and software, reduces development effort for OEMs, and can be adapted to fit different smart-glasses designs.

- Privacy and AI capabilities: Only gaze data leaves the MCU, keeping sensitive eye images on-chip. The programmable MCU can also support additional workloads, including AI-based functions.

"Viewpointsystem's implementation demonstrates how our Ensemble MCU can handle demanding real-time vision processing within the tight power and space constraints of smart glasses," said Mark Rootz, VP Global Marketing at Alif Semiconductor. "This is exactly what we built the Ensemble family for: real-time AI at the edge without the power and thermal overhead of an application processor."

The patented MCU-based solution now opens up new opportunities for eye tracking in smart glasses where power, space and processing constraints have so far ruled it out – from lightweight AI and AR glasses to display-less eyewear and specialized industrial applications.

We define EBITDA as income (loss) from continuing operations before income taxes, interest expense, and depreciation and amortization.  We use EBITDA to assess our consolidated financial and operating performance, and we believe this non-U.S. GAAP measure is helpful in identifying trends in our performance.

This measure provides an assessment of controllable expenses and affords management the ability to make decisions which are expected to facilitate meeting current financial goals, as well as achieving optimal financial performance.  It provides an indicator for management to determine if adjustments to current spending decisions are needed.

EBITDA provides us with a measure of operating performance because it assists us in comparing our operating performance on a consistent basis as it removes the impact of our capital structure (primarily interest charges on our outstanding debt) and asset base (primarily depreciation and amortization) from our operating results.  Accordingly, this metric measures our financial performance based on operational factors that management can impact in the short-term, namely the cost structure, or expenses, of the organization.  EBITDA is one of the metrics used by senior management and the Board of Directors to review the consolidated financial performance of our business.

We define Adjusted EBITDA as EBITDA (as defined above) further adjusted to give effect to adjustments required in calculating covenant ratios and compliance as that term is defined in the indenture governing our senior unsecured notes.  Adjusted EBITDA is a material component of these covenants.

EcoFire® is another product in EcoPhage's expanding portfolio of phage-based solutions, targeting bacterial disease management in fruit crops.

Through the agreement, Dragon will be responsible for the marketing and distribution of EcoPhage's products throughout Mexico, working to establish the products in the local agricultural market and expand access to phage-based biological crop protection solutions.

The partnership combines EcoPhage's proprietary phage technology and product development capabilities with Dragon's local market expertise, commercial infrastructure and agricultural relationships, creating a platform for the introduction and expansion of innovative biological crop protection solutions in Mexico.

Martin Fueyo Mac Donald, Dragon's CEO, said: "We are excited to partner with EcoPhage and bring its innovative phage-based technology to the Mexican agricultural market. The demand for effective and sustainable crop protection solutions continues to grow, and we believe EcoPhage's technology offers an important new approach to bacterial disease management. We look forward to working closely with EcoPhage to introduce these solutions to Mexican growers and build a strong commercial presence in the market."

"We are very pleased to enter into this strategic partnership with Dragon," added Guy Elitzur, CEO of EcoPhage. "Mexico is an important agricultural market with significant potential for biological crop protection solutions, and we believe Dragon is the right partner to introduce and develop our technology in the country. This agreement represents an important step in our global commercialization strategy and brings EcoPhage closer to growers who are looking for new and sustainable solutions to manage bacterial diseases."

The partnership reflects the growing importance of biological solutions as part of integrated crop protection programs. By providing growers with access to targeted, phage-based products, EcoPhage and Dragon aim to support the development of more sustainable disease-management programs and provide additional tools that can help reduce reliance on conventional approaches where appropriate.

"Our vision is to build a global platform of biological solutions for bacterial diseases," added Elitzur. "The partnership with Dragon is an important part of that vision. We are not only introducing individual products to a new market; we are building a long-term commercial platform that can support the introduction of additional EcoPhage technologies and products to Mexican agriculture."

TELUS Digital Partners with Parloa to Help Enterprises Build and Manage AI Agents for Stronger Customer Relationships

Collaboration pairs Parloa's platform with TELUS Digital's customer experience expertise to help improve first impressions, deepen engagement and create value for enterprises and their customers

VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TELUS Digital, a global technology service provider specializing in AI-powered digital customer experiences (CX) and future-focused digital transformations, today announced a partnership with Parloa, the leading agentic CX enabler for the enterprise. Established in Germany, Parloa brings a robust European enterprise footprint and experience supporting deployments subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other European regulatory requirements, while TELUS Digital offers its existing delivery presence and regulated-industry expertise across North America and Europe.

TELUS Digital will serve as an implementation partner, introducing prospective and current enterprise clients to Parloa's AI agent platform and helping them put it into production at scale. Enterprises that choose to deploy Parloa can contract directly with the company for the platform itself and engage TELUS Digital for implementation, integration, change management, managed services and other professional services.

Parloa's AI agents handle customer interactions such as authentication, bookings, payments and order inquiries from beginning to end, and escalate to a human agent when a conversation calls for high-touch care. Parloa's own research, a study evaluating 10,000 enterprise websites and 4,000 chat interactions, found that fewer than 9% of chatbot conversations reached resolution, and only about 10% of escalation attempts actually reached a human agent. Separately, Parloa's Consumer Patience Index, a survey of 1,001 U.S. consumers conducted by independent research firm Propeller Insights, found that nearly a third of consumers would switch brands entirely just to avoid being put on hold. Parloa's approach is built on the idea that completing an interaction, rather than stalling partway through it, can turn automation into customer loyalty instead of frustration.

"The research confirms what we've all experienced ourselves — consumer expectations are high, and brand loyalty is fragile," said Chris Silver, Chief Revenue Officer, Parloa. "They need to have their issue solved, the first time, on their preferred channel and with no unnecessary delays. Legacy automation couldn't do it; Parloa's can, and with our TELUS Digital partnership, we're excited to show the innovative enterprise what's possible in agentic customer experience."

Automation in CX can be most effective when enterprises and customers trust the platform delivering it. Parloa's platform recently earned SAP's endorsed app premium certification, a distinct category within SAP's partner ecosystem reserved for solutions that meet added security, testing and performance standards. The platform runs on Azure and supports multiple AI models, including OpenAI's GPT series, giving enterprises flexibility as the technology evolves. The company, with enterprise operations across Europe and the U.S., has built six years of deployment experience serving businesses across banking and financial services, insurance, utilities, telecommunications and media, retail, logistics, travel, and healthcare and life sciences. Parloa builds its agents to meet enterprise compliance standards, including GDPR, ISO 27001 and SOC 2, with every interaction designed to help protect personal information.

Expanding TELUS Digital's AI-powered CX solutions

As enterprises adopt agentic AI platforms across their customer service operations, TELUS Digital believes a single tool rarely covers every need and that enterprises benefit from matching the right capability to the right type of interaction.

"When contact centers get buried in high volume, repetitive interactions, we often see cost to serve climb without the customer experience improving," said Will Mayo, Global Senior Vice President of Growth, TELUS Digital. "What stands out to us about Parloa is that its agents are designed to take care of routine requests from start to finish, and hand-off to a person when a conversation gets more complex. Parloa is built to work through partners like TELUS Digital, which can act as a one-stop shop from strategy to implementation and scaled delivery. This gives our clients another way to move eligible, high volume interactions to automation while keeping people available for conversations that need their empathy and knowledge."

The Parloa partnership is the newest addition to TELUS Digital's AI capabilities for customer experience. TELUS Digital's conversational AI solutions combine voice, generative AI and agentic automation, so AI agents can handle routine requests across channels and languages and pass the conversation to a human agent, with full context, when the interaction needs a person.

To support human agents, TELUS Digital's AI-powered agent tools can analyze customer interactions to support quality and coaching, and offer real-time guidance during live conversations. TELUS Digital's proprietary Fuel iX™ Agent Assist gives agents real-time knowledge and answers, while Fuel iX Agent Trainer uses AI-generated voice and chat simulations to help new agents practice customer conversations before taking live calls. TELUS Digital can connect these solutions to clients' contact center platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems and backend systems. The company also offers CX consulting to identify where AI fits, along with customer service and contact center management teams to run and optimize a blend of AI and human support.

The Parloa partnership extends TELUS Digital's AI-powered CX solutions for enterprise clients in industries including telecommunications, retail, travel and hospitality, media, banking, financial services and insurance, and healthcare, supported by a global delivery footprint of 83,000+ team members across 35+ countries.

Frequently asked questions

- What is Parloa and what does it do?

Parloa is an agentic AI platform built to let AI agents handle customer interactions such as authentication, bookings, payments and order inquiries from beginning to end. The platform escalates to a person when a conversation calls for more judgment, and every interaction is designed to protect personal information while meeting compliance standards including built to support GDPR and certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Parloa also holds SAP's endorsed app premium certification, a distinct category within SAP's partner ecosystem for solutions that meet added security, testing and performance standards. The platform is built around turning every resolved interaction into lasting customer loyalty, not just a closed ticket.

- Why did TELUS Digital partner with Parloa?

TELUS Digital partnered with Parloa to expand its portfolio of AI capabilities for customer experience with end-to-end customer service automation solutions. The partnership pairs Parloa's agentic AI platform, used by enterprises in insurance, retail, travel and healthcare, with TELUS Digital's CX expertise, industry relationships and global delivery footprint. It also complements the AI solutions TELUS Digital already offers, giving enterprises another way to move eligible, high volume interactions to automation while keeping people available for the conversations that need them.

- What problem does agentic AI solve for contact centers?

Contact centers often carry a heavy load of repetitive, transactional interactions, such as identity verification, bookings and payment questions, that drive up the cost to serve without making the experience any better for the customer. Many AI tools can answer part of a question but still hand the interaction back to a person to finish, so the customer effectively waits twice. Parloa's own research found that fewer than 9% of chatbot conversations reach resolution, illustrating how common that gap is. Agentic AI platforms like Parloa are built to complete these interactions fully on their own, reserving human involvement for the conversations that need empathy and judgment.

- Who implements Parloa for TELUS Digital's enterprise clients?

Enterprises that choose to deploy Parloa can contract directly with the company for the platform itself and engage TELUS Digital for implementation, integration, change management, managed services and other professional services. TELUS Digital serves as an implementation partner, introducing prospective and current enterprise clients to Parloa's AI agent platform and helping them put it into production at scale.

- What does TELUS Digital's approach to AI in customer experience look like? TELUS Digital's AI portfolio for customer experience pairs its own Fuel iX suite with technology partnerships, covering conversational AI agents, real-time guidance and coaching for human agents, and agent training. Parloa expands that portfolio with autonomous resolution for eligible transactional interactions. Rapid Silver and Gold Recoveries From Metallurgical Test Work
Image File
Original HTML

Highlights:

- Impressive silver and gold recoveries achieved from the latest round of optimised cyanide leach testwork at the Maverick Silver Project, demonstrating rapid silver and gold extraction within 24 to 48 hours.

- The Company is undertaking a range of metallurgical testwork to optimise silver-gold extraction and provide optionality in processing pathways that will be considered in future studies.

- Sample 1 (LT15) achieved rapid silver and gold extraction within 24 hours under the same leach conditions (P80 53µm grind; 5,000 ppm initial / 2,500 ppm-maintained NaCN; no lead nitrate):

- Head assay results, 84.5% silver and 83.6% gold recovery with peak recoveries indicated between 0 and 48 hours.

- A lower-reagent optimisation test on Sample 2 (LT22) also delivered rapid silver extraction (P80 53µm grind; 3,000 ppm initial / 1,500 ppm-maintained NaCN; 500 ppm lead nitrate):

- Head assay results, 87.7% silver recovery and 87.5% gold recovery with peak recoveries indicated between 0 hours and 48 hours.

- Possible upside exists for silver and gold recoveries at 24 and 48 hours, with Sample 1 interim solution assays indicating higher extraction percentages than the reported recoveries calculated using final head assay grades.

- Silver extraction accelerated under elevated cyanide, with further optimisation targeting the optimal balance between recovery and reagent consumption.

- Tank-leach/CIL may provide greater flexibility for potential antimony recovery. The Company is in the process of working towards a maiden antimony Mineral Resource Estimate.

- Continued active U.S. Government (Department of Commerce) engagement, focused on large-scale domestic development and maximising U.S. production of silver and critical minerals including antimony and gold, further reinforces the strategic rationale for also evaluating higher recovery tank leach/CIL development pathways at Maverick.

PERTH, Australia, Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Silver Limited (ASX: SS1; OTCQX: SSLVF) ("Sun Silver" or "the Company") is pleased to report highly encouraging results from its ongoing metallurgical activities for the Maverick Silver Project in Nevada, USA ("Maverick" or "the Project").

Sun Silver Managing Director, Andrew Dornan, said:

"These results continue to demonstrate the strong metallurgical characteristics of Maverick, with rapid silver and gold extraction within just 24 hours providing further confidence in the Project's development potential. The results highlight clear opportunities to further optimise recoveries, reagent consumption and processing conditions as we evaluate the optimal development pathway. With active U.S. Government engagement focused on large-scale domestic development, maximising U.S. metal production and strengthening critical mineral supply chains, we continue to evaluate processing options capable of maximising silver, gold and potential antimony recovery."

Metallurgical Testwork - Update

As part of the Company's larger ongoing metallurgical testwork program evaluating and optimising potential processing pathways for the Project, the work detailed within this announcement focused specifically on accelerating silver extraction within the first 48 hours through optimisation of cyanide concentration, lead nitrate addition, dissolved oxygen and grind size.

This series of testwork was devised to build on and complement the previous exceptional silver-gold recovery results from Intermittent Bottle Roll and Cyanide Leach testwork that provided an initial estimate of heap-leach and tank-leach recoveries, respectively, and showed no evidence of preg-robbing .

Metallurgical testwork was designed, undertaken, managed and reviewed by Independent Metallurgical Operations ("IMO"), a subsidiary of SGS. Samples utilised for this testwork were derived from the same composites of the initial testwork program1. The tests were conducted in deionised water, so it mitigates against known chloride ion concentration variations in Perth tap water.

A total of 242 intervals of half diamond drill core were derived from existing diamond core samples, comprising oxide and transitional mineralisation. Two composite samples were prepared:

- Composite sample 1: 147kg total weight

- Composite sample 2: 127kg total weight

Five cyanide leach bottle-roll tests were undertaken on Sample 1 and six tests on Sample 2, allowing the Company to assess the effect of varying reagent regimes and grind sizes on silver and gold extraction.

The standout result was achieved from Sample 1 (LT15), which demonstrated rapid extraction of both silver and gold under the LT15 leach conditions.

Head assay results, 84.5% silver and 83.6% gold recovery with peak recoveries indicated between 0 hours and 48 hours.

The rapid extraction of both silver and gold within the first 24 to 48 hours is particularly encouraging for the Company's assessment of a conventional tank-leach/CIL processing flowsheet, where recovery, leach kinetics and residence time are important inputs into process design and economic evaluation.

Strong Recoveries at Reduced Cyanide Dosage

Importantly, a subsequent optimisation test on Sample 2 (LT22) evaluated silver-gold recovery under a more moderate cyanide regime combined with a reduced lead nitrate dosage.

Head assay results, 87.6% silver recovery and 87.5% gold recovery

The ongoing program will seek to determine whether a balanced combination of cyanide and lead nitrate can deliver comparable metallurgical performance to the higher cyanide regime while reducing overall reagent consumption and operating costs.

Lead Nitrate and Early-Stage Leach Kinetics

Comparative tests assessed the introduction of lead nitrate as a potential means of accelerating silver and gold leach kinetics.

Testwork shows that the addition of lead nitrate under standard cyanide conditions accelerated silver extraction in both samples, supporting further assessment of lead nitrate as part of reagent optimisation.

At elevated cyanide concentrations, the incremental benefit of lead nitrate reduced materially by 48 hours. In Sample 1, lead nitrate accelerated early silver extraction, while the 48-hour silver recoveries were similar between the tests, indicating that its principal benefit under the conditions tested was accelerated early-stage extraction.

Silver Leach and Reagent Optimisation

The Maverick testwork demonstrates the impact of cyanide concentration on the rate of silver extraction.

Silver cyanidation can require more intensive leach conditions than conventional free-milling gold cyanidation. Silver extraction can be sensitive to free cyanide concentration, dissolved oxygen, mineralogy and leach residence time, making optimisation of the overall reagent regime an important component of flowsheet development.

These results highlight an important optimisation opportunity for Maverick: determining the optimum balance between cyanide concentration, lead nitrate dosage, dissolved oxygen and residence time to maximise silver and gold recovery and leach kinetics while minimising reagent consumption and processing costs.

Tank Leach Provides Potential High-Recovery Development Pathway

The latest results provide further support for Sun Silver's assessment of a conventional tank-leach/CIL processing pathway, alongside heap-leach development scenarios currently being evaluated for Maverick.

The ability to achieve 84.5% silver and 83.6% gold recovery within only 24 hours (Sample 1 results) provides an important technical basis for evaluating a high-recovery processing configuration.

The Company considers the speed of extraction particularly encouraging. The majority of recoverable silver and gold in the standout test was extracted within the first 24 hours. This provides important information for ongoing optimisation of residence time, plant configuration and processing economics.

Recovery Disclosure: Silver and gold extraction percentages reported at interim time intervals (including 24 and 48 hours) represent indicative point-in-time calculated extractions, determined from solution assays collected at the relevant sampling time and the back-calculated head grade. Accordingly, interim extraction results are indicative of metallurgical performance at the stated point-in-time and should not be interpreted as final or ultimate recoveries.

U.S. Strategic Importance and Optionality for Antimony Recovery

Sun Silver continues active engagement with various U.S. Government including Department of Commerce and Permitting Council regarding Maverick's potential role in strengthening domestic silver and critical-mineral supply chains, including potential pathways for U.S. Government support for the Project.

These engagements reflect a strategic focus on large-scale domestic development and maximising the recovery and production of U.S. sourced metals. Together with Maverick's substantial silver-gold Mineral Resource and emerging antimony potential, this reinforces the importance of evaluating development scenarios capable of maximising metal recovery and production at scale.

Accordingly, the Company is continuing to evaluate both heap-leach and higher-recovery tank-leach/CIL processing pathways, including the potential for a tank-leach/CIL flowsheet to provide greater flexibility for potential future antimony recovery. All development options remain open, with metallurgical, technical and economic investigations continuing to determine the optimal development pathway for Maverick.

Next Phase of Tank-Leach / CIL Metallurgical Optimisation

The latest testwork has identified several clear opportunities to further optimise the Maverick processing flowsheet, with the next phase of metallurgical work focused on maximising recoveries while reducing reagent consumption, grind requirements and processing costs.
