CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Carolina Water Service of North Carolina (CWSNC) recently completed approximately $8 million in upgrades at the Fairfield Harbour Wastewater Treatment Plant, enhancing the reliability and long-term performance of a critical community asset.

Nearly sold out corner residence on the Quai des Grands Augustins offers unobstructed Seine views and a 1/8 ownership share starting at $762,000

PARIS, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Pacaso, the leading real estate co-ownership company for second homes, today announced the launch of Seine, a fully furnished two-bedroom, two-bath residence overlooking the river in the heart of Paris' Left Bank. Located on the Quai des Grands Augustins in the city's 6th arrondissement, the 1,000-square-foot home is nearly sold out, with one remaining 1/8 share available for purchase at $762,000.

Set on a coveted corner along one of the Left Bank's most storied quays, Seine offers uninterrupted views stretching from the river to Paris's rooftops. Juliet balconies wrap the residence on all sides, filling the home with natural light. Inside, the kitchen is anchored by a La Cornue range, paired with clean-lined interiors and premium finishes throughout.

The location places owners between Pont Neuf and Place Saint-Michel, steps from the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, with the Louvre, Notre-Dame and the Musée d'Orsay all within walking distance.

"Seine captures everything owners look for in a Paris pied-à-terre: an unbeatable location, gorgeous river views and a home that feels effortless to own and enjoy," said Pacaso co-founder and CEO Austin Allison. "With Pacaso's white-glove approach to co-ownership, purchasing and owning an exceptional home abroad has never been so easy. And with our streamlined closing process, buyers can start planning their autumn in Paris now."

As with every Pacaso home, Seine is fully furnished and professionally managed, giving owners a turnkey property from the day they close. Pacaso manages all complexities, from cross-border legal and tax frameworks to daily property oversight. Pacaso's SmartStay™ scheduling system allows co-owners to book equitable time in the home, and a dedicated home management team handles upkeep, so owners can enjoy Paris rather than manage a property. Buyers seeking more flexibility can also consider a 1/4 ownership share.

Forward-Looking Statements

This press release includes "forward-looking statements" within the meaning of Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, and the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, which in this context means statements that express Centrus' opinions, expectations, objectives, beliefs, plans, intentions, strategies, assumptions, forecasts or projections regarding future events or future results and therefore are, or may be deemed to be, "forward-looking statements." The words "may," "will," "could," "should," "expects," "anticipates," "intends," "plans," "believes," "seeks," "estimates," "continue," "might," "possible," "potential," "predict," "project," "goal," "would," "commit," or, in each case, their negative or other variations or comparable terminology, and similar expressions may identify forward-looking statements, but the absence of these words does not mean that a statement is not forward-looking. These forward-looking statements include all matters that are not historical facts. They appear in a number of places throughout this press release and include statements regarding Centrus' intentions, beliefs or current expectations concerning, among other things, the completion, size, terms and timing of the proposed offering and the anticipated use of proceeds therefrom, results of operations, financial condition, liquidity, prospects, growth, strategies and the markets in which Centrus operates. Readers are cautioned not to place undue reliance on these forward-looking statements, which apply only as of the date of this press release. HDB INVESTOR DEADLINE: HDFC Bank Limited Investors with Substantial Losses Have Opportunity to Lead the HDFC Shareholder Class Action Lawsuit Before October 13, 2023
Image File
Original HTML

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hagens Berman, a national law firm noted for its preeminent work in securities class action litigation, notifies investors in HDFC Bank Limited (NYSE: HDB) of a pending securities fraud class action.

- Class Period: July 17, 2023 – May 26, 2026

- Lead Plaintiff Deadline: Oct. 13, 2026

- Visit: www.hbsslaw.com/hdb

HDFC Bank Limited (HDB) Securities Class Action Overview:

The lawsuit filed against HDFC Bank Limited ("HDFC" or the "Company"), and certain top executive officers including Chief Executive Officer Sashidhar Jagdishan and Chief Financial Officer Srinivasan Vaidyanathan, alleges violations of the federal securities laws.

Specifically, the action centers on HDFC's failure to disclose key material adverse facts regarding its business operations, financial accounting, and regulatory compliance:

- Camouflaged Marketing Payments & Covert Deposit Inducements: HDFC secretly funneled approximately Rs 45 crore (approx. $4.7 million USD) to the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation ("MSRDC") to induce the state firm to place large deposits with the bank.

- Disguised Above-Market Interest Rates: To circumvent regulations and provide MSRDC with a 6.01% interest rate (a 2.51% markup over standard retail savings accounts), senior management devised a scheme to route the differential payments through the marketing department disguised as sponsorship contributions for a road safety awareness campaign.

- Governance and Regulatory Breaches: These covert practices violated the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) Master Directions on interest rates and breached the bank's own internal anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies prohibiting improper inducements.

- Overstated Financials: As a result of these hidden activities, HDFC's interest income and operating expenses were overstated during the class period, rendering the Company's positive public statements and financial controls false and misleading.

Truth Begins to Unravel & Stock Price Declines:

The fraudulent scheme allegedly began to surface in stages, causing sharp drops in the market value of HDFC American Depositary Shares (ADS):

- March 18, 2026: HDFC announced the abrupt resignation of part-time Chairman and Independent Director Atanu Chakraborty, whose resignation letter stated that happenings and practices within the bank over the prior two years were "not in congruence with my personal Values and Ethics." On this news, HDFC ADS prices fell 7.28% on heavy volume.

- May 27, 2026: The Indian Express published an investigative report exposing that HDFC "camouflaged crores as marketing spend" to pay higher interest to MSRDC, revealing an internal vigilance probe implicating CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan and other top leadership. Following this disclosure, HDFC ADS fell 4.1% to close at $23.78 per share.

Hagens Berman's Investigation

"We're focused on whether HDFC's senior leadership concealed a covert scheme to funnel millions in disguised payments to induce state-firm deposits while publicly painting a picture of strong governance and compliance, as the complaint alleges," said Reed Kathrein, the Hagens Berman partner leading the firm's investigation of the pending claims in the suit.

What Affected $HDB Investors Should Do

If you purchased or acquired HDFC securities between July 17, 2023, and May 26, 2026, and suffered significant financial losses, you have until October 13, 2026, to ask the court to appoint you as lead plaintiff.

To learn more about your legal options, submit your information to Hagens Berman, visit www.hbsslaw.com/hdb.

Whistleblowers: Persons with non-public information regarding HDFC should consider their options to help in the investigation or take advantage of the SEC Whistleblower program. Under the new program, whistleblowers who provide original information may receive rewards totaling up to 30 percent of any successful recovery made by the SEC.

DNOW Inc. (DNOW) Investors: Securities Fraud Class Action Filed, Contact Hagens Berman Before October 2, 2026 Lead Plaintiff Deadline
Image File
Original HTML

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- National shareholder rights law firm Hagens Berman encourages investors in DNOW Inc. (NYSE: DNOW) who suffered substantial losses submit your losses now. A securities class action lawsuit has been filed regarding potential violations of federal securities laws involving DNOW's acquisition of MRC Global Inc. and undisclosed enterprise software integration failures in the merger proxy materials.

- Lead Plaintiff Deadline: Oct. 2, 2026

- Defined Investor Class and Record Date: Shareholders who held DNOW common stock as of the August 5, 2025 record date and were thus entitled to vote at DNOW's September 9, 2025 special meeting on the merger of DNOW and MRC Global

Investors with significant losses are urged to contact the firm to review their options:

- Visit: www.hbsslaw.com/dnow

- Emai: [email protected]

- Call Direct: 844-916-0895

Allegedly Misleading Proxy Materials:

The suit alleges that the Proxy Materials misrepresented and omitted to disclose challenges posed with DNOW's merger with MRC Global Inc. as a result of material issues affecting MRC Global's new ERP system.

The Truth Allegedly Emerges

- November 5, 2025 — Reassurances Before Acquisition: The complaint alleges that on DNOW's Q3 2025 earnings call—the day before closing the merger—management assured investors that MRC Global had implemented a "state-of-the-art" Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that promised "improved inventory management, order processing efficiency, and supply chain optimization." DNOW allegedly minimized integration risks, reassuring the market that MRC's past software glitches were merely an "isolated, one-time event."

- February 20, 2026 — The Disclosures: DNOW reported its Q4 and full-year 2025 financial results, revealing that MRC revenues had sharply declined due to "persistent ERP challenges" and acknowledging that MRC's software implementation was, in fact, an "obstacle."

- Operational Flaws & Guidance Delay: Management conceded that flawed software design architecture caused severe operational slowdowns, impeded customer service, and required substantial unexpected capital expenditure to remediate. Consequently, DNOW was forced to delay its sequential and full-year 2026 financial guidance.

- Market Impact: On this news, DNOW stock crashed 19% in a single trading session.

Statement from Hagens Berman Partner Reed Kathrein

"We are focused on whether the Proxy Materials downplayed ERP integration failures at MRC Global allowing management to push the deal through, as the complaint alleges," said Reed Kathrein, the Hagens Berman partner leading the firm's investigation of the claims in the pending suit.

What DNOW Investors & Whistleblowers Can Do

- DNOW Investors: If you purchased DNOW common stock and sustained significant losses, you may be eligible to take an active role in the class action. The court-appointed lead plaintiff deadline is October 2, 2026. Submit your loss details here.

- Whistleblowers: Persons with non-public information regarding DNOW should consider their options to help in the investigation or take advantage of the SEC Whistleblower program. Under the new program, whistleblowers who provide original information may receive rewards totaling up to 30 percent of any successful recovery made by the SEC. For more information, call Reed Kathrein at 844-916-0895 or email [email protected].

UWM Holdings Corporation (UWMC) Alert: October 13, 2026 Lead Plaintiff Deadline in Class Action Lawsuit, Investors with $150K+ Losses Encouraged to Contact Hagens Berman

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- UWM Holdings Corporation (NYSE: UWMC) faces a securities class action lawsuit after the price of their shares cratered 34% on August 6, 2026 in response to revelations that the company suffered over a $603 million hedge loss associated with its failed bid to acquire Two Harbors Investment Corp. and, as a result, agreed to a plan to massively dilute existing shareholders.

Hagens Berman is investigating the alleged claims and encourages UWM investors who suffered substantial losses to submit your losses now.

UWM Holdings Corporation ($UWMC) Securities Class Action:

The suit centers on UWM's disclosures about its hedging strategy in connection with its attempt to acquire Two Harbors.

On December 17, 2025, mortgage lender UWM announced that it and mortgage servicing rights ("MSR") company Two Harbors entered into a merger agreement pursuant to which UWM would acquire Two Harbors for about $1.3 billion in UWM stock. Two Harbors was free to receive proposals superior to UWM's.

In connection with the proposed acquisition, UWM entered into significant hedging transactions against Two Harbors' MSR portfolio whose value typically and rapidly changes based on interest rates and homeowner refinancing speeds.

The complaint alleges that UWM did not disclose that it over-hedged in connection with its attempt to take over Two Harbors. The danger to this is that if an acquisition falls through the massive hedge left behind can turn into a speculative gamble.

Over four months ago, on March 27, 2026, Two Harbors announced that it entered a definitive merger agreement with CrossCountry Mortgage in a cash transaction and that it terminated its previous deal with UWM and would pay UWM the termination fee.

Although UWM had disclosed certain information about having hedged the transaction before March 27, investors did not learn the truth of the company's exposure until August 6, 2026. That day UWM reported three important things.

First, the company reported a massive $451 million net loss and roughly a $603 million hedging loss. Management revealed, apparently for the first time, that "we were over-hedged" and "obviously, the Two Harbors transaction went away."

Second, UWM disclosed that its total equity sequentially plunged by about $615 million, or a whopping 38%.

On top of that and third, UWM told shareholders in essence that, as a result of the foregoing, it entered into a massively dilutive recapitalization plan.

The market swiftly reacted, sending the price of UWM shares sharply lower that day. Between December 17, 2025, the day of the Two Harbors acquisition announcement, and August 6, 2026, the price Of UWM shares has declined by about $3.65 or 75%.

Hagens Berman's Investigation

"We're focused on UWM's explanations for why it refrained from unwinding its hedges months ago and why management seemingly went virtually silent on the naked hedging risks until recently," said Reed Kathrein, the Hagens Berman partner leading the firm's investigation.

If you invested in UWM and have substantial losses, or have knowledge that will assist the firm's investigation, submit your losses now »

Whistleblowers: Persons with non-public information regarding UWM should consider their options to help in the investigation or take advantage of the SEC Whistleblower program.

September 2026 in Köln verliehen.

NDR: Vier Deutsche Fernsehpreise 2026

Hamburg (ots)

B. „Der reale Irrsinn – Die Show“).
