MARTIN, Mich., Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On a day when Top Fuel points leader Shawn Langdon again made the fastest run in Top Fuel history, the standout powered to the win on Monday at the Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals presented by MOPAR, defeating Spencer Massey in the final round at U.S. 131 Motorsports Park to finish off one of the most dominant days in NHRA history.

Jordan Vandergriff (Funny Car), Troy Coughlin Jr. (Pro Stock) and John Hall (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won the 15th of 20 races during the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season and the first of six races in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.

In the final round, Langdon went 3.664-seconds at 346.15 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Kalitta Air dragster, powering past Massey's 3.764 at 327.75 to pick up his sixth victory of the season and second in a row.

He moved back into the points lead, delivering one unbelievable statement run after another. That included an incredible blast of 3.663 at 346.95 in the semifinals against teammate Doug Kalitta, making the fastest pass in NHRA history.

That shattered the run of 345.00 from Valdosta that Langdon ran in May and Langdon again topped 346 mph in the finals against Massey. All four of his runs on Monday were 342 mph or faster, while he also made the quickest run of the year, going 3.652 to open the day against Maddi Gordon.

"It just goes to show it takes everything," Langdon said. "You have a track like U.S. 131 that takes a lot of pride in their facility. It's a great track and then you get some good conditions and really anything's possible. It all starts there and my guys have been doing such a great job.

"Brian (Husen, crew chief) made perfect calls and he races smart. It was just getting everything in sync and the car showed what it was capable of. We knew that it was going to be good, but to be able to do that for four runs today, I'm just proud of my guys to get this win. There was just a lot of good things going on this weekend."

Vandergriff, who qualified last in 16th, moved to second in points with his third victory of the season for John Force Racing, going 3.858 at 329.43 in his Chevrolet to defeat points leader Matt Hagan in the finals of the Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals presented by MOPAR.

Coughlin won for the first time in 41 races, slipping past points leader Matt Hartford with a 6.515 at 209.69 in his Chevrolet Camaro. It is his sixth career win and first since 2024.

Hall earned his first win of the season after a run of 6.808 at 194.22 on his Buell in the championship round against first-time finalist Marc Ingwersen.

The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series returns to action Friday through Sunday with the inaugural NHRA Nationals at The Rock at Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, N.C.

Inglewood Associates and Gordon Brothers Provide Update on Sale Process for 925 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Inglewood Associates and Gordon Brothers today announced an update regarding the court-supervised sale process for the property located at 925 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, commonly known as The 925 Building and The Centennial Building, and formerly known as the Huntington Building and the Union Commerce Building.

Following a comprehensive marketing effort and ongoing discussions with prospective purchasers, the Receiver has not selected a stalking horse bidder at this time. While Receiver and his advisors have had detailed discussions with numerous interested parties, the potential bidders have specifically indicated a preference to participating in a subsequent auction as opposed to submitting a Stalking Horse Bid.

The marketing process continues to generate substantial interest from both local, national and international investors, developers, unique users and other capital sources. Gordon Brothers and Inglewood Associates remain encouraged by the level of engagement and believe the property continues to attract significant attention from parties seeking a transformational redevelopment opportunity in downtown Cleveland.

The decision not to designate a stalking horse bidder does not alter the court-approved sale timeline authorized by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Interested parties continue to conduct diligence and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities, and the Receiver remains focused on maximizing value through a transparent and competitive process. The sale procedures provide for the submission of qualified bids and, if appropriate, a competitive auction process designed to achieve the highest and best outcome for the property.

Qualified bids for the property are due on or before October 24, 2026. Prospective purchasers interested in participating in the process should continue to follow the applicable court-approved bidding procedures and deadlines.

While qualified bids remain due on or before October 24, 2026, the Receiver continues to evaluate all opportunities generated through the marketing process. Consistent with the court-approved sale procedures, the Receiver retains flexibility to pursue the transaction path that is determined to maximize value and achieve the highest and best outcome for stakeholders.

The 925 Building encompasses approximately 1.45 million square feet and occupies a prominent location at the intersection of East 9th Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland's central business district. The historic property is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks and represents a unique redevelopment opportunity.

Olight's Best-Selling Clip Light Evolves: Oclip 2 Series Rotates and Tilts to Aim Where You Need It

HOUSTON, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Olight launched the Oclip 2 Series during its O-Fan Day event, introducing the Oclip 2 Pro and Oclip 2 Ultra designed for mechanics, public safety professionals, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who requires fully adjustable, hands-free lighting with multiple light sources. The Oclip 2 Series represents the next generation of Olight's best-selling clip-light line, a product line with more than one million users worldwide.

Both models feature an all-new dual-axis design that tilts the head up to 115° and rotates the clip a full 360°, allowing the beam to be freely aimed as needed after mounting without repositioning the mounting point. Self-locking pivots hold the selected angle in place. Durability testing covered 10,000 clipping cycles for the clip and 10,000 rotation cycles for the dual-axis mechanism.

The Oclip 2 Pro integrates three lighting modes in one compact body: pure flood, spot, and red light. Flood output reaches up to 530 lumens, spot range up to 125 meters, and red output up to 40 lumens.

Building on the Oclip 2 Pro's three-light configuration, the Oclip 2 Ultra adds UV light through an industry-first R/UV emitter that integrates red and UV light within its compact body, bringing the total to four light sources. Flood output reaches up to 580 lumens and spot range up to 130 meters, while UV output reaches up to 800 mW for inspections. Beyond lighting performance, the Oclip 2 Ultra adds an exclusive OAL aluminum body and head that combine high strength with scratch resistance, alongside the new OclipBeat breathing light, which changes color based on cumulative usage time.

Across the Oclip 2 Series, dual magnets at the MCC tail and clip allow the light to be secured to compatible metal surfaces in different orientations for hands-free illumination.

Both models support USB-C and MCC charging. Each Premium version includes a 1,000 mAh Mobile Charging Dock that automatically recharges the light on the go, extends total runtime to approximately twice that of the light alone, and displays the battery levels of both the light and dock.

The Oclip 2 Pro comes in Classic Black, High-Visibility Orange, and Tidal Blue, while the Oclip 2 Ultra comes in Olive Green, Onyx Black, and Amber Orange. Both models are available worldwide through the Olight Official Store, Amazon, and authorized retailers. Standard versions are priced at $49.99 for the Oclip 2 Pro and $69.99 for the Oclip 2 Ultra; pricing for other versions is available on the Olight Official Store.

Merry Life Biomedical Advances Global Phase 2 Trial of TML-6, Exploring Cellular Protein Clearance in Early Alzheimer's Disease

Global study brings together nine Taiwan medical centers, seven Swedish sites, and four U.S. centers to evaluate an oral therapy focused on autolysosomal biology

TAIPEI, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Merry Life Biomedical today announced the advancement of TML-6, a Taiwan-developed investigational oral therapy for early Alzheimer's disease, into a global Phase 2 study spanning Taiwan, Sweden, and the United States.

The study brings together 20 clinical sites, including nine medical centers in Taiwan, seven sites in Sweden, and four centers in the United States. It will evaluate TML-6 in approximately 210 participants with early Alzheimer's disease.

A New Approach to Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer's disease is characterized by the abnormal accumulation of proteins in and around brain cells, including amyloid plaques and tau tangles. Recently approved therapies have demonstrated that removing amyloid can slow clinical decline in people with early Alzheimer's disease. But even with treatment, the disease continues to progress.

TML-6 is being investigated through a new and potentially complementary approach. Research on TML-6 has increasingly focused on the autophagy–lysosomal pathway, which is responsible for clearing and recycling proteins and other cellular material. Preclinical studies have investigated its effects on autophagy lysosomal function in neurons and microglia, together with amyloid related pathology, oxidative stress, and inflammation.

"The next generation of Alzheimer's therapeutics must look beyond what accumulates in the brain and ask why neurons lose their ability to clear damaged proteins and maintain normal function," said Dr. Ih-Jen Su, Founder and Chairman of Merry Life Biomedical. "Research on TML-6 has increasingly pointed us toward the autophagy–lysosomal system, a fundamental cellular pathway for clearing and recycling damaged proteins and cellular components. This global Phase 2 study will test whether targeting this biology can translate into meaningful benefit for patients."

Swedish Alzheimer's Clinical Trial Expertise Comes to Taiwan

A major international component of the TML-6 program is the participation of seven clinical sites in Sweden, working with Anne Börjesson-Hanson, MD, PhD, of Karolinska Institute and Karolinska University Hospital.

Dr. Börjesson-Hanson is an experienced investigator in international Alzheimer's clinical trials, including studies of emerging disease-modifying therapies. Her clinical trial experience includes serving as Sweden's Clinical Trial Network establishment and participated in more than 40 global clinical trial as primary investigator, as well as leadership roles in other international Alzheimer's studies.

On October 4, Dr. Börjesson-Hanson will visit Taiwan for the Taiwan Dementia Society Annual Scientific Meeting. She will deliver a plenary lecture and meet with the nine Taiwanese principal investigators participating in the TML-6 study.

Nine Taiwan Medical Centers Join the TML-6 Global Study

Nine major Taiwan medical centers are participating in the same global Phase 2 study alongside the Swedish and U.S. sites, making Taiwan the largest group of participating clinical sites in the program.

"For Taiwan's biotechnology sector, this represents more than the advancement of one molecule," Dr. Su said. "It is an opportunity for a therapeutic program developed in Taiwan to contribute to the global effort to understand and treat Alzheimer's disease through a new biological approach."

The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study will enroll approximately 210 participants with early Alzheimer's disease. Participants will receive TML-6 100 mg, TML-6 200 mg, or placebo once daily for 52 weeks. The primary endpoint is change from baseline in the Clinical Dementia Rating Sum of Boxes, a measure of cognition and daily function, and blood biomarkers p-Tau 217, Aβ, GFAP, and NfL as secondary endpoints.

The study also brings together international expertise in Alzheimer's biomarkers, imaging, and clinical development. Henrik Zetterberg, MD, PhD, will support blood biomarker analyses, while Barbara B. Bendlin, PhD, will contribute expertise in amyloid PET and MRI analyses. Gary W. Small, MD, serves as a global medical consultant, and Jacobo Mintzer, MD, advises on global clinical site execution.

Global Phase 2 Marks a Key Value Inflection Point for Business Development and Licensing

With TML-6 advancing into global Phase 2 development, Merry Life Biomedical is moving beyond early-stage safety evaluation toward the generation of clinical efficacy, biomarker, and imaging data. The company views the global Phase 2 study as a key value inflection point and, based on study progress and emerging data, will plan for Phase 3 development and broader global development strategies. Merry Life Biomedical is also actively exploring strategic investment, international venture capital, capital-market financing, and partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies to accelerate subsequent development. In parallel, the company will continue discussions with international pharmaceutical companies and strategic partners and, subject to Phase 2 results and regulatory strategy, evaluate licensing, co-development, and other partnership models to advance TML-6 through late-stage clinical development and toward global commercialization.

Forward-Looking Statements

This press release contains forward-looking statements regarding TML-6 and its clinical development that are subject to risks and uncertainties inherent in drug development. Statements regarding TML-6's mechanism and potential effects reflect hypotheses under clinical investigation and do not establish safety or efficacy.

- Kakao Pay and Kakao Bank sign an MoU with global infrastructure leader Fireblocks to lay the groundwork for a digital asset ecosystem in Korea

- The companies will jointly explore Korean market opportunities in digital assets, including stablecoins

- The initiative aims to assess solutions suited to local regulatory, security, and service requirements

SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kakao Pay and Kakao Bank have signed a memorandum of understanding with Fireblocks to explore secure digital asset infrastructure in Korea.

The agreement is intended to help establish secure onchain infrastructure for Korea's emerging digital asset market and strengthen its early ecosystem. This initiative leverages Kakao's nationwide reach, expertise across fintech and banking, and core blockchain technology. The companies expect their collaboration with Fireblocks—which has deployed digital asset infrastructure for over 2,500 global institutions including more than 100 banks—to accelerate that effort.

Under the agreement, the three companies will jointly explore business opportunities based on Korea's market conditions and infrastructure demand. With a focus on stablecoins, they will explore digital asset distribution frameworks suited to Korea's regulatory, security, and service requirements. They also plan to conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) tests to assess the applicability of these frameworks, as part of a shared effort to build the digital asset ecosystem.

"For banks and payment platforms in Korea, leveraging reliable digital asset infrastructure that is engineered to meet institutional requirements from day one is critically important," said Michael Shaulov, CEO and Co-Founder of Fireblocks. "This is the prerequisite for widespread adoption, and Kakao Pay and Kakao Bank are setting the groundwork now."

"We are pleased to collaborate with Fireblocks, the global leader in digital asset infrastructure," said Yun Ho-young, CEO of Kakao Bank and Co-Head of Kakao Group's Stablecoin Task Force. "By combining our technology and expertise, we will develop secure and accessible digital asset services that expand our customers' financial opportunities."

"The success of Korea's emerging digital asset market depends on the reliable flow of digital asset distribution," said Shin Won-keun, CEO of Kakao Pay and Co-Head of Kakao Group's Stablecoin Task Force. "Our strategic alliance with Fireblocks, a leading global infrastructure provider, lays an important foundation for that."
