NEW YORK, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- 120/80 Health Group today announced an eighth-year of record growth, driven by a broad slate of new client partnerships and continued expansion of long-standing relationships with leading innovators in healthcare and life sciences.

The results reflect 120/80 Health Group's evolution from a communications firm driving brand awareness for early-to-growth stage digital health startups – into a strategic consultancy known for delivering measurable business outcomes for pre-series A to publicly traded businesses. The agency's exclusive focus on healthcare and life sciences provides a depth of industry knowledge that brokers business relationships, brings breakthrough ideas to market, accelerates adoption, builds category leadership, and creates sustainable growth and valuation.

In 2026, the firm added multiple category leaders across its two portfolio agencies. Importantly, it has also begun working with multiple top-10 global biopharmaceutical and diagnostic companies whose use of AI is transforming how new medicines, tests and devices are discovered, developed and brought to market.

"Healthcare innovation is entering an era in which intelligence will be embedded in every company, clinical workflow and patient experience," said Rob Cronin, CEO of 120/80 Health Group. "But innovation only matters when people understand it, trust it and use it. Our growth reflects the trust clients place in us to help turn consequential ideas into adoption, market leadership and enterprise value. That is the standard we are building the Group around. Our purpose is clear – that no healthcare innovation fails to reach those who need it."

Investing in Leadership That Advances Client Growth

To support its next stage, 120/80 Health Group is aligning and expanding its leadership team:

- Randi Liodice has joined the firm as chief growth officer and with a mandate centered on helping clients grow;

- Paula DeGangi has been promoted to lead AOx3 as chief client officer and managing partner;

- Mike Fay has been named Group chief strategy officer and managing partner;

- Jen Long continues to lead 120/80 as chief client officer and managing partner as well as leading the financial communications practice.

An Evolved Platform Built Around the Client Challenge

As a supporting expression of the business it has already built, the company has formalized 120/80 Health Group as its enterprise identity and introduced an evolved market position: The business outcomes partner to healthcare innovators.

The 120/80 and AOx3 brands will continue to serve clients with distinct expertise, relationships and teams, while providing access to the broader Group's technology, strategies and practices. The company's evolved story, capabilities and client work are featured on its newly launched website at www.12080healthgroup.com.

Introducing TrendAI™ Autonomous Vulnerability Discovery: Next-Generation Threat Remediation at Machine Speed

New service pairs AI-powered vulnerability discovery with validation from the world's largest vendor-agnostic bug bounty program to identify exploitable attack paths

DALLAS, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TrendAI™, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), today announced the private preview of TrendAI Vision One™ Autonomous Vulnerability Discovery, a service powered by TrendAI's agentic exploit-remediation engine, code name AESIR, which identifies, validates, and verifies fixes for vulnerabilities, including zero-days, in customer source code.

TrendAI's agentic system is a purpose-built, multi-model AI architecture using primarily Anthropic models. It combines autonomous vulnerability discovery, exploit identification, and threat hunting with research from the TrendAI™ Zero Day Initiative™ (ZDI), the world's largest vendor-agnostic bug bounty program. When evaluated against the CyberGym testing framework, the engine outperformed single-model and agentic system scores on the CyberGym leaderboard.

The service is deployed and operated on Amazon Bedrock from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Customers keep using the code repositories and version control systems they already rely on.

"AI is changing both sides of vulnerability discovery. Code is being written faster than ever, and attackers are using AI to find flaws faster than ever," said Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer, Head of TrendAI™. "Security teams shouldn't have to choose between the speed of AI and the judgment of the world's best vulnerability researchers. Autonomous Vulnerability Discovery puts AI built for accuracy together with two decades of ZDI research, and runs it where customers' code already lives, so they can find and fix what matters before attackers do."

Three differentiators set the service apart.

Detection accuracy

Internal benchmarking shows AI models from TrendAI™ identify more true-positive vulnerabilities, with fewer false positives, than leading vulnerability scanning and static analysis tools.

Validation backed by TrendAI™ ZDI

Findings are validated by ZDI experts and checked against more than 20 years of research from the program and the team behind the renowned Pwn2Own™ hacking competition.

Native deployment in Amazon Bedrock

The service runs on Amazon Bedrock, allowing customers to keep their existing Git repositories and code registries as the system of record, and source code stays within the customer's AWS environment.

How it works

TrendAI™ begins with a scoping interview to understand the customer's environment. A TrendAI™ ZDI expert uses that input to define and tune a custom scan. To ensure safety, the service team monitors and controls every scan, rather than handing customers an unsupervised black box. Once the scan runs against a customer's source code, TrendAI™ produces a comprehensive vulnerability report that includes a severity rating, an estimated CVSS score, and a detailed write-up for every finding. Each discovery is cross checked against TrendAI™ ZDI vulnerability research. After the customer builds and deploys a patch, the scan is run again to verify the fix, once again checking it against TrendAI™ ZDI research before issuing a final verified patch status.

Because the service is deployed and operated on Amazon Bedrock, the entire workflow, from initial scan through final patch verification, can run inside the customer's AWS environment.

Availability

Autonomous Vulnerability Discovery is available now in private preview to select enterprise customers running on AWS. Pricing is customized based on scan scope and deployment model. Customers can request a scoping interview by contacting their TrendAI™ account team.

IGEL Expands Global Footprint with Entry into Latin America Through Adistec Partnership

Partnership establishes IGEL's regional presence, extending its Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform™ and partner ecosystem to enterprises across the market

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- IGEL®, a global software company delivering the IGEL Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform™, today announced at Omnissa ONE 2026 its entry into the Latin American market through a strategic distribution agreement with Adistec, marking the latest step in the company's global expansion.

Under the agreement, Adistec will become a new IGEL distribution partner for the region, supporting resellers, system integrators, and technology service providers with technical enablement, training, business development, and go-to-market resources. The partnership will expand access to IGEL across Latin America while helping channel partners build expertise and develop new customer opportunities.

The partnership comes as organizations across Latin America face continued pressure to secure how users and devices access enterprise resources. According to IBM's 2026 X-Force Threat Intelligence Index, the leading initial-access vectors IBM observed in Latin America included valid accounts, exploitation of public-facing applications, software supply-chain attacks, and abuse of external remote services, each accounting for 25% of observed cases. That pressure is also reflected in recent industry research: Gartner has recommended that CISOs move toward a Workspace Immutable Secure Endpoint (WISE) model, and Forrester's 2027 budget planning guidance recommends evaluating secure desktop operating systems in higher-risk environments.

"For organizations across Latin America, endpoint strategy is becoming increasingly connected to broader security, cloud, and secure-access decisions," said Phil Eden, Vice President of Channels Sales for North America, IGEL. "Adistec brings regional expertise and channel relationships to help partners address that opportunity. Together, we can bring IGEL's secure endpoint approach into a wider range of customer environments while continuing to support VDI, DaaS, Zero Trust and SASE architectures, enterprise browser environments, SaaS access, BC&DR and modern workspace requirements."

Bringing the Endpoint into the Security Architecture

The IGEL Adaptive Secure Endpoint Platform™ provides a secure, centrally managed endpoint foundation for modern digital workspaces and secure access. At its foundation is the IGEL Preventative Security Model®, which begins with an immutable endpoint operating system and extends through attested workload delivery, centralized governance, contextual enforcement, and broad ecosystem integration.

The platform operationalizes this model through three planes: IGEL OS as the execution plane, Universal Management Suite™ (UMS™) as the control plane, and the IGEL App Portal® as the data plane. Together, these capabilities enable organizations to centrally manage compatible endpoint hardware and provide access to SaaS, DaaS, VDI, enterprise browsers, and supported enterprise applications while minimizing endpoint attack surface and local data exposure.

IGEL Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery™ (IGEL BC&DR™) extends this platform approach into business continuity and cyber resilience. For supported environments, it provides organizations with an endpoint recovery path that can restore secure access on Windows endpoints affected by ransomware, other cyberattacks, or outages.

This combination allows Adistec partners to bring IGEL into a broader range of customer initiatives, from traditional VDI and DaaS environments to Zero Trust and SASE architectures, secure enterprise browsers, regulated industries, manufacturing and frontline environments, and business continuity planning.

Expanding the Opportunity for Latin American Channel Partners

With more than 20 years of experience developing technology channels in Latin America, Adistec provides regional sales, technical, marketing, logistics, training, professional services, and business development capabilities across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, virtualization and cloud technologies.

Its channel-focused model combines distribution with partner development, technical and commercial enablement, opportunity development, and go-to-market support.

"Adding IGEL to our portfolio represents an important opportunity for Adistec and our partners across Latin America," said Ramiro Rios, Business Development Manager, Adistec. "Endpoint strategy is increasingly connected to the broader decisions organizations are making around cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and secure access. IGEL gives our partners another way to address those requirements while supporting customers' existing technology environments."

Through the partnership, Adistec and IGEL will focus on helping partners build IGEL expertise, identify customer opportunities, and develop complementary services around deployment, migration, and endpoint lifecycle operations. Partners will also be able to position IGEL alongside complementary security and infrastructure technologies represented in Adistec's portfolio, where supported and appropriate, as part of broader digital workspace, security, cloud and resilience initiatives.

As enterprises adopt cloud-delivered applications, virtual workspaces, enterprise browsers, and identity- and network-based security controls, IGEL and Adistec will work with partners to strengthen the endpoint layer within broader modernization and security strategies across the region.

To learn more about this strategic alliance and new opportunities for partners across Latin America, visit the IGEL and Adistec teams at Omnissa ONE 2026 in Orlando, September 28–30.

Leidos launches agentic AI platform to speed response to cyber threats
Image File
Original HTML

UpHold Effect™ Agentic SOC Automation helps federal security teams move from alert overload to clear guidance and automated response while keeping human analysts in control.

RESTON, Va., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Leidos (NYSE:LDOS) is introducing UpHold Effect™ Agentic SOC Automation, a capability that uses AI agents around the clock to help security operations center teams identify threats requiring immediate action amid a deluge of cyber alerts.

Why it matters: Cyber teams must be quicker to address real threats as they're countering adversaries trying to overwhelm defenses with automation and AI.

What it provides:

- Around-the-clock investigation: AI agents can triage alerts, gather context and assemble findings for analysts to review.

- Integration with existing tools: The capability is designed to work with current security technology rather than require agencies to replace their existing systems.

- Customer-controlled autonomy: Organizations decide what the AI can investigate, recommend or act on.

- Auditable decisions: Recommendations and actions create records showing what the AI observed, concluded and proposed or did.

- Federal deployment options: A FedRAMP Class D (High) deployment option is available. The capability can also provide a pathway toward Department of war Impact Level 4 and 5 environments with appropriate government sponsorship.

How it works: UpHold Effect™ Agentic SOC Automation works across an organization's existing security tools to investigate alerts, gather information and recommend next steps.

- Customers determine how much authority the AI receives based on their mission, risk tolerance and governance requirements.

Expert perspective: "Cyber teams need to keep pace with threats without giving up control," said Steve Hull, president of Leidos Digital.

- "UpHold Effect™ Agentic SOC Automation can take on more of the investigative workload while giving agencies the flexibility to decide when AI recommends an action and when it is allowed to act."

The big picture: Leidos combines commercial AI technology with cybersecurity experience, including operating some of the government's largest security operations centers.

- The company integrates and configures the capability around each customer's mission, security environment and governance requirements.

The bottom line: UpHold Effect™ Agentic SOC Automation enables teams to detect and respond to threats faster, while giving analysts more time to focus on the threats that require human judgment.

About UpHold Effect™

Agentic SOC Automation is a feature within UpHold Effect™, Leidos' offering for agentic cyber response and part of the UpHold™ product suite.

UpHold Effect™ applies automation across areas including adversary detection, cyber deception, cloud security and threat hunting while allowing customers to set governance and operational controls.

Fenix24 Accelerates Global Momentum as Enterprises Demand Proof of Recoverability, Not Just Prevention

Argos99 adoption expands across more than 200 enterprise environments as Fenix24 grows international footprint and advances resilience operations strategy

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Fenix24™, a global leader in operational recoverability, today announced significant company momentum driven by growing enterprise demand for proof of recoverability — not just security posture. Building on decades of hands-on breach recovery expertise, Fenix24 continues to expand its global presence, evolve its resilience offerings, and deepen enterprise adoption of its Argos99 recoverability intelligence SaaS platform, its newly launched Recoverability Intelligence Assessment, and Fenix24's 24/7 proprietary Resilience Operations Center (ROC).

Fenix24 also recently released its inaugural State of Recoverability Report, drawing on more than 500 real ransomware recoveries to examine why recovery speed, not prevention alone, is becoming the primary measure of enterprise resilience. The first in a series exploring the report's findings, "The New Measure of Cybersecurity Success Is How Fast You Recover," is live here.

Over the past year, Fenix24 has expanded its already-established breach recovery leadership with Argos99, the technology born directly out of the front lines. Fenix24's teams repeatedly saw that clients believed their backups were immutable, yet that data frequently didn't survive a ransomware attack, and even when it did, incomplete data, slow rehydration, or untested environments meant it could only be recovered a fraction of the time. Fenix24 built Argos99 to close that gap, and over the past year has used it to accelerate its largest recoveries and architect provable resiliency for wartime and is now deployed across hundreds of organizations and tracking more than 2.5 million workloads for some of the world's largest enterprises.

"The question used to be, are we vulnerable to a cyberattack? That question has been answered because everyone is," said Mark Grazman, Founder and CEO of Fenix24. "Now the most important question should be: can we recover, and how quickly? And that's what Argos99 was designed to answer. Built on more than 500 real breach responses, Fenix24 knows exactly what impacts an organization's ability to recover, and what needs to be configured and pre-staged in an environment for that recovery to succeed. Argos99 provides the transparency with a resiliency score for every critical application, location, and dependency in an environment. Paired with the judgment only the world's leading recovery firm can offer, that becomes a market-leading roadmap: exactly what needs to be fixed to improve recoverability, with constant monitoring for any drift from an organization's RTO and RPO targets."

Argos99 Recoverability Intelligence Platform Powers Enterprise Resilience

The company's momentum has been fueled by the continued evolution and deployment of Argos99, Fenix24's recoverability intelligence platform and the engine that governs everything the company delivers from assessments to the ROC to rapid recovery. Argos99 provides a single live map of every asset, dependency, backup, identity, and policy state across the systems that recovery depends on. Where earlier platforms focused on asset visibility alone, Argos99 reads policies alongside data, flags where an environment has drifted from what's required, and surfaces the dependency intelligence that drives every downstream resilience decision.

The platform's recently expanded recoverability dashboard provides executive and operational teams with clearer visibility into critical systems, business dependencies, backup health, and prioritized resilience actions measured against each organization's defined recovery objectives. To date, Argos99 has been deployed or utilized across more than 200 client environments and is currently monitoring or processing more than 2.5 million enterprise assets and servers worldwide.

Fenix24 has drawn recognition from Gartner®, which named the company Cool Vendor™ in its Coolest Vendor Innovations in Cyber Resilience report, specifically recognizing Fenix24's Argos99 Cyber Resilience and Recovery Intelligence Platform.

Recoverability Intelligence Assessment Gives Enterprises Evidence-Based Proof of Recovery Readiness

A key addition to Fenix24's portfolio is the Recoverability Intelligence Assessment, a software enabled assessment and planning engagement that serves as the peacetime entry point into the company's resilience model. Most recoverability planning today is theoretical, built on traditional disaster recovery scenarios such as data center outages, human error, or fire — not on what actually happens in a ransomware attack, where backups are encrypted or destroyed and infrastructure is deliberately dismantled. The Recoverability Intelligence Assessment answers the question of recoverability based on real-world and updated threat actor ransomware attacks, addressing the most important question in cyber today: can the organization restore viable business operations under real adversarial conditions? In partnership with the client's leadership, Fenix24 facilitates the definition of each client's Minimally Viable Enterprise (MVE) the specific business functions, applications, and dependencies that must return first then uses Argos99's dependency intelligence to validate whether current backup posture, recovery targets, and infrastructure are aligned to that objective. The result is a prioritized resilience roadmap and board-ready proof of recoverability for leadership, regulators, and insurers. Traditional disaster recovery planning and cyber frameworks focus on risk of ransomware not ability to recover, resulting in many organizations having never studied their environment through this lens, and the RIA surfaces the gaps between where they are and where they need to be before a ransom attack reveals the gaps resulting in potentially catastrophic loss.

Customer and International Expansion Fuels Next Phase of Fenix24 Growth

Fenix24 has also continued expanding internationally, with growing operations and customer activity across the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Japan, and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Over 40% of the company's incident response and proactive resiliency revenue now originates from outside the United States, reflecting rising global demand for breach recovery and operational resilience expertise.

The company has additionally seen increased expansion within existing customer relationships. Many organizations initially engage Fenix24 during or immediately after a major cyber incident and later expand those engagements into broader recoverability planning, resilience hardening, and operational preparedness initiatives. Approximately 30% of recovery customers continue working with Fenix24 after the initial recovery engagement.

Fenix24 Expands ROC Model to Deliver Continuous Recoverability Operations

This growth has also supported the continued development of Fenix24's Resilience Operations Center (ROC), the ongoing operational capability that continuously validates, monitors, and improves recoverability over time. The ROC watches recoverability fusing real-time dependency intelligence from Argos99 with advisory from Fenix24's recovery team to monitor for configuration drift, backup gaps, and dependency changes, then working with client teams to remediate and re-test so that RTO and RPO targets hold as environments evolve. Together, Argos99, the Resiliency Intelligence Assessment, the ROC, and Fenix24's Rapid Recovery capability form a connected loop: Discover, Validate, Operate, and Recover, giving enterprises a practical, evidence-based path from reactive recovery toward continuous operational resilience.

"A recovered server is not a recovered business," Grazman added. "The combination of Argos99, the Recoverability Workshop, the ROC, and our rapid recovery capability gives organizations something they haven't had before: continuous, measurable proof that they can actually recover critical business operations not just an untested plan that assumes they can."

As organizations face increasingly sophisticated threat actors, evolving compliance requirements, and AI-enabled attack capabilities, Fenix24 expects continued market demand for validated, evidence-based recoverability solutions. In the coming year, the company plans to expand adoption of the Argos99 recoverability intelligence platform, scale the Recoverability Workshop across enterprise and mid-market clients, grow the ROC operational model, deepen strategic partnerships, and strengthen international operations all in service of helping enterprises build the continuous, measurable resilience their boards, regulators, and insurers now require.

The company is recognized for Hybrid Execution System in Life Science Manufacturing and Automated Compliance by Design in R&D New Product Development

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- MasterControl, a leading provider of quality and manufacturing software solutions for the life sciences industry, today announced it has been named a Sample Vendor in two separate Gartner Hype Cycle reports published in 2026.

MasterControl is the premier AI-fueled, quality and manufacturing platform for life sciences and other regulated industries. The company helps organizations digitize, automate and connect quality, manufacturing, and compliance processes across the regulated product development life cycle, all while helping customers bring products to market faster.

MasterControl was listed as a Sample Vendor for Hybrid Execution System in the Gartner Hype Cycle for Life Science Manufacturing, published June 9, 2026. In the report, a Hybrid Execution System is defined as an "integrated platform that combines the functionalities of a manufacturing execution system (MES), quality management system (QMS) and a laboratory execution system (LES) to streamline and optimize both production and laboratory operations within an organization."

The company was also named a Sample Vendor for Automated Compliance by Design in the Gartner Hype Cycle for R&D New Product Development, published July 27, 2026. According to the report, "automated compliance by design embeds regulatory, safety and quality requirements as enforceable constraints within new product development workflows, using automation and traceability to continuously evaluate compliance as designs change."

"We believe being named a Sample Vendor in two Gartner Hype Cycle reports in the same year reflects the range of problems our platform is built to solve, from embedding compliance earlier in product development to connecting manufacturing, quality, and asset management on one system," said Dave Edwards, CEO of MasterControl. "Life sciences companies especially are under constant pressure to move faster without compromising compliance, and that pressure doesn't stop at the lab door, it follows the product into manufacturing."

AMTA Opens October Application Window for $100,000 in Massage School Grants Funded by Massage Envy

Fall grant cycle brings Massage Envy's total funding of the AMTA program to $550,000

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), the largest nonprofit professional association serving massage therapists, massage students, and massage schools, today announced that applications open October 1 for the ninth round of massage school grants funded by Massage Envy, a national leader in skin care and the nation's No. 1 provider of massage in the U.S. collectively across its network.

During this round, AMTA will award ten $10,000 grants to help massage schools attract, educate, and graduate the next generation of massage therapists.

The fall grant cycle continues a significant expansion of the program in 2026, with 10 grants offered in both the spring and fall grant cycles, up from five per cycle in prior years. The $100,000 available this fall will bring Massage Envy's total funding of the program to $550,000.

"This program represents a meaningful, long-term investment in massage education and the future of the profession," said Todd Schrader, CEO of Massage Envy Franchising. "Doubling the number of grants this year means more schools can benefit from the program and more future massage therapists can be supported on their path to rewarding careers."

"These grants provide schools with meaningful support they can put toward the programs, tools, and resources that help students succeed," said Rick Greely, National President, AMTA. "We appreciate Massage Envy's continued investment in massage education and its commitment to helping strengthen the profession for the long term."

Accredited massage schools interested in applying for a grant should complete an online application on AMTA's website, detailing how the grant would help support their school and students. Applications will be accepted October 1–31, 2026.

Massage Envy does not sponsor or administer the grant program, and Massage Envy is not affiliated with and does not endorse any massage school, including those receiving the grants.
