Production awards under long-term purchase agreement reinforce Lyntris' role in enabling integrated air and missile defense

WASHINGTON, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Lyntris Inc. (NYSE: LYNX), a defense technology company delivering sense-to-act connectivity solutions for the modern connected battlespace, today announced it has received production orders from Raytheon, an RTX business, supporting Option Years Two and Three of the U.S. Army's Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensor (LTAMDS) program. The orders fall under the long-term purchase agreement Lyntris established with Raytheon in 2023 and cover production demand through 2028.

LTAMDS is expected to be the U.S. Army's replacement for the Patriot radar and the sensing foundation of its Integrated Air and Missile Defense architecture. The system will provide 360-degree surveillance and fire control from a single sensor, closing the rear-sector gap that constrained the fielded fleet. It will provide air defenders with detection, tracking, and engagement against maneuvering hypersonic, cruise missile, and unmanned threats. The U.S. Army has moved the program from development into full-rate production, with Raytheon serving as prime contractor.

Under the production orders, Lyntris will manufacture the precision thermal management assemblies that enable LTAMDS active electronically scanned array (AESA) performance. The assemblies will combine liquid cooling circuits with tight-tolerance machined features that hold thermal stability across high-power radar electronics, where temperature variation shortens component life. Production will run across the company's Newark, California and Carson City, Nevada facilities.

Lyntris has manufactured RF and thermal management hardware for fielded radar programs for more than 20 years, in a segment where qualification cycles are long and few suppliers can hold the tolerances that high-power AESA arrays require at production volume. Leveraging such qualified base, Lyntris anticipates scaling from development quantities into sustained rate production without requalification delay. Lyntris' vertically integrated manufacturing allows consolidation of work that would otherwise span multiple vendors, reducing schedule risk for a program the U.S. Army has prioritized for accelerated fielding.

"LTAMDS is one of the U.S. Army's highest-priority modernization programs, and Raytheon needs suppliers who can hold quality while volume climbs," said Brian Morrison, CEO of Lyntris. "These orders reflect years of investment in the manufacturing base required to deliver mission-critical hardware at rate, and they extend a partnership that goes back 13 years."

"Thermal management is where AESA radar performance is won or lost — the array can only radiate what the cooling system can carry away," said Matt Parisi, Vice President at Lyntris. "Our team has built the process discipline to hold those tolerances shipset after shipset, and that repeatability is what a production program demands."

LTAMDS is managed by the U.S. Army Portfolio Executive Office – Fires at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

Daesang's Jongga Accelerates U.S. Expansion with Stronger Local Production and Distribution
Image File

- Jongga, Korea's No. 1 kimchi brand, has expanded into more than 90 countries, with the U.S. serving as its largest export market since 2023

- Local production footprint expanded through its Los Angeles kimchi plant and its acquisition of Lucky Foods, supporting continued growth across mainstream U.S. distribution channels

SEOUL, South Korea, Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Daesang, one of Korea's leading food companies, is accelerating its expansion in the U.S. kimchi market with Jongga, Korea's No. 1 kimchi brand. The company is strengthening its local production and distribution infrastructure while building deeper connections with U.S. consumers through a product portfolio tailored to local tastes and food culture and a wide range of brand initiatives.

Jongga Kimchi is currently sold in more than 90 countries worldwide, including markets in North America, Europe, and Asia. In 2023, the United States surpassed Japan to become Jongga's largest export market and has since established itself as a key market for the brand's global kimchi business. Since 2019, Jongga has steadily expanded its U.S. presence by extending its distribution network beyond Korean grocery stores into mainstream retail channels across the western and central United States.

Amid this growth in the U.S. market, Jongga's global kimchi business has maintained steady growth. In the first half of 2026, Korea's total kimchi exports reached approximately USD 86 million, with Jongga accounting for around USD 48 million, or 56% of the total. Jongga's kimchi exports nearly tripled from approximately USD 32 million in 2017 to USD 90 million in 2025.

To meet growing U.S. demand and establish a stable local supply base, Daesang began investing in local production. In early 2022, it became the first Korean food company to complete a large-scale kimchi plant in the United States, opening the facility in the City of Industry, California, near Los Angeles. The approximately 10,000-square-meter plant has an annual production capacity of 2,000 metric tons of kimchi and includes dedicated ingredient storage facilities. It currently produces a range of products developed with local food preferences in mind, including Jongga Original Kimchi, Vegan Kimchi, White Kimchi, Silbi Kimchi (an extra-spicy variety), and Cucumber Kimchi.

In addition to establishing local production capacity, Daesang has worked to secure a reliable ingredient supply chain and distribution network. The company sources key ingredients, including napa cabbage, radishes, and green onions, directly in the United States. Years of market research and R&D have also enabled Daesang to identify local ingredients and suppliers that allow it to maintain consistent kimchi taste and quality. Building on these efforts, the company has established integrated U.S. operations encompassing production, commercial activities, distribution, and sales. In 2023, Daesang acquired Lucky Foods, a U.S. food manufacturer whose products include Seoul Kimchi, thereby expanding its local production capacity. By leveraging the distribution networks of both companies, Daesang has further strengthened its position in the mainstream U.S. market.

Building on its strong local operations, Jongga continues to expand its product portfolio with offerings tailored to U.S. consumers' tastes and eating habits. In addition to traditional napa cabbage kimchi, the brand has introduced varieties made with familiar vegetables such as green cabbage, carrots, and cucumbers. Its expanded lineup also includes white kimchi for those who prefer milder flavors and ABC Kimchi made with apples, beets, and carrots. Jongga has also developed new product formats, including kimchi spread that can be paired with bread or crackers and Crunchy Bites, which offer a distinctly crisp texture. These products give consumers more ways to enjoy kimchi.

Jongga continues to pursue collaborations that strengthen its connection with U.S. culinary culture. In 2024, it partnered with three-Michelin-star chef Corey Lee to launch two San Ho Won Kimchi products in the U.S. as part of its Jongga Gourmet Edition line. The two varieties, Original Kimchi and White Kimchi, combine Jongga's longstanding production expertise with Chef Lee's creative recipes, introducing new flavors and demonstrating kimchi's culinary versatility.

Alongside expanding its product portfolio, Jongga is engaging U.S. consumers through experiential brand initiatives that allow them to taste and discover kimchi firsthand. In 2024, the brand ran a food truck campaign in Los Angeles and New York, serving K-food dishes featuring Jongga Kimchi and connecting with approximately 6,000 consumers. In 2025, Jongga took part in the global music festival HEAD IN THE CLOUDS LA 2025, where it showcased a variety of dishes made with Jongga kimchi and strengthened its connection with younger consumers.

"The United States has emerged as Jongga's largest export market and is a key market for our global kimchi business," said Oh Yeon-taek, CEO of Kimchi CIC at Daesang. "Building on our local production and distribution infrastructure and longstanding expertise in kimchi production, we will continue to broaden our product portfolio and consumer reach, making kimchi a more familiar and versatile part of everyday life in the United States."

Shivoo Studios Launches Interactive Website Demonstrating Immersive Technology at Work
Image File

New site turns complex equipment and client projects into interactive, real-time 3D experiences

JAFFREY, N.H., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Shivoo Studios, an immersive media and XR production company, has launched a redesigned website that gives visitors a direct look at how augmented reality, real-time 3D, digital twins, and simulations can be applied to industrial products and business challenges.

The new website marks a shift in how Shivoo presents its work. While the previous site showed the range of industries the company serves, it used a more conventional, two-dimensional format. The redesigned site adds depth, motion, and interaction, making the website itself an example of the experiences Shivoo creates for its clients.

For manufacturers and industrial companies, immersive technology offers a practical way to demonstrate complex equipment without requiring the machinery to be physically present. In the dedicated Shivoo Industrial section, visitors can explore digital twins and simulations, interact with complex machinery, watch products and components assemble, and enter virtual portals leading to additional 3D environments. These applications can support remote product demonstrations, training, sales, and marketing.

"The goal was to create a website that doesn't simply tell companies what Shivoo can do—it lets them experience it," said Sterling Youngman, CEO of Shivoo Studios. "It demonstrates how large, complex CAD files can be optimized for the web and presented in different ways. Nanotech, MiniMonster, and Contiki each offer a distinct experience, giving visitors a sense of the options available for their own products."

At the center of the website is the Immersiverse, a spatial portfolio where Shivoo's AR, MR, and VR projects orbit a central hub. Visitors can navigate the space, discover client work, and enter individual case studies. The portfolio spans industrial, healthcare, wellness, consumer, and entertainment applications, reflecting the range of Shivoo's work.

"Our work is built around experience creation, so the website needed to be experiential as well," said Quinn Tetterton, Chief Content Officer at Shivoo Studios. "We approached it as an unfolding story rather than a conventional collection of pages. Our aim was to bring the same movement, discovery, and spatial storytelling we use in our client work to the way people experience Shivoo itself."

Visitors can explore the site on desktop and mobile devices.

"We wanted visitors to feel, before they read a word, that they had landed somewhere that thinks in three dimensions," said Ze'ev Gilad, Director of Creative Technology at Shivoo Studios. "The challenge was creating depth, motion, and spatial character without sacrificing clarity or usability. The experience needed to suggest the scale of what we can create while remaining simple and intuitive to navigate."

The launch also introduces immersive website design as an extension of Shivoo's broader production capabilities, creating new possibilities for sales, marketing, training, education, and customer engagement.

The new Shivoo Studios website and Immersiverse can be explored at ShivooStudios.com.

DYNA Robotics Launches DYNA 2.1 Physical Agent, a Semi-humanoid Robot that Completes Full Workflows such as a Commercial Laundry Shift
Image File
Original HTML

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, DYNA Robotics launched the DYNA 2.1 physical agent, a semi-humanoid robot powered by DYNA's proprietary model that can autonomously complete entire physical workflows – like a commercial laundry shift – without human intervention, performing tasks that demand both physical dexterity and complex reasoning. DYNA 2.1 is being deployed in hotels, laundromats, and restaurants.

DYNA's proprietary semi-humanoid hardware consists of an upper torso with two arms that are compatible with parallel-jaw grippers or dextrous hands to reach and manipulate objects, and four steerable wheels so it can easily move around without risk of toppling over.

To successfully manage continuous, hours-long shifts, the robot is powered by a vision-language orchestrator that reasons through complex workflows and a whole-body controller that coordinates driving, reaching, bending, and lifting into one fluid action. It is underpinned by DYNA's proprietary world action model DYNA 2, trained on a million hours of human and robot data to handle physical skills and steerability.

"Our goal is to make general purpose robots commercially viable for real-world scenarios," said Lindon Gao, co-founder and CEO of Dyna Robotics. "Our customers need robots that complete an entire workflow for a full shift – without human babysitters – not just specific tasks."

Autonomously completing a commercial laundry shift

The DYNA 2.1 physical agent is capable of managing an entire commercial workflow end-to-end such as food preparation, data center management, and commercial laundry.

For example, in a commercial laundry setting, DYNA 2.1 can complete an entire shift, including:

- Loading the washer and dryer, as well as actively turning the machines on.

- Bending to reach the very back of a dryer to unload bulk towels into a basket.

- Snapping towels flat, folding them, and organizing them into specific stacks by size.

- Crouching to place finished stacks on bottom shelves or reaching up to place them on top shelves.

- Autonomously correcting physical errors – such as picking up a dropped towel from the floor or abandoning a bad grasp to try again – without requesting human help.

DYNA 2.1 is optimized for Mean Time Between Interventions (MTBI), or how long the machine operates before a human must step in to assist. The physical agent captures execution data as it operates – from the reasoner's decision traces to the controller's joint loads. This data feeds back into the system, creating a continuous improvement loop designed to steadily increase the minutes of work achieved per intervention.

"This is a far more useful benchmark than per-episode success rates on isolated tasks, which is widely used today but fails to reflect true commercial viability," said co-founder Jason Ma. "Continuous real-world shifts require thousands of sequential steps, which is why we measure MTBI to ensure our robots are commercially viable and can operate without human babysitters."

QA FAIL (need review): TARGET contains unsupported factual additions not in SOURCE: it claims previous Ease Collection designs were 'slip-on', but SOURCE only says MIST is the first style with a lace closure; and it says MIST is 'certified B-Tek Dry Waterproof Breathable', but SOURCE only describes it as 'B-Tek Dry Waterproof Breathable' without mentioning certification. Sonic Tools USA Introduces the SFS Drawer Configurator
Image File

Design the Perfect Toolbox Assortment Online, Drawer by Drawer, Leveraging 163 Sonic Tool Foam Modules Across Five Sizes

AUBURN, Ala., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonic Tools USA, a leader in professional-grade tool solutions and equipment, today announced the Sonic Foam System (SFS) Drawer Configurator, a free online resource to design the perfect toolbox setup across the entire lineup of 163 SFS modules within five foam-size categories: extra-small, small, medium, large, and extra-large. Starting with the toolbox, including all available Sonic S-Series Toolboxes and boxes from other leading manufacturers, users can configure, drawer by drawer, the ideal Sonic Tools USA toolset for their respective needs using the full catalogue of SFS toolsets.

"Whether you are new to Sonic Tools or looking to expand your existing toolset, the drawer configurator tool is a resource to either create an entirely new toolset from scratch or to expand upon, or reorganize, an existing toolset as needs and skills grow," said Don Russell, director of marketing, Sonic. "Furthermore, the free software enables anyone to optimize their toolset to make the most of the available space in a Sonic Toolbox or practically any another toolbox they have on hand."

Now, with the drawer configurator tool, Sonic customers can ensure that their toolbox is properly organized with the right tools in the right places. If a customer wants to upgrade to a new toolbox size, they can quickly visualize how their existing tool set will transition to a larger box, providing critical insight into available space and organization. Alternatively, prospects can also visualize how Sonic foams would fit within an existing toolbox.

The configurator utilizes exact drawer dimensions with drag-and-drop and rotation capabilities, providing users the ability to mix and match Sonic SFS modules, drawer by drawer, much like a puzzle. Once users register, multiple configurations can be built, saved, and returned to at any time. A utilization bar at the top of the screen helps users track available drawer space as each drawer is filled, and keyword search capabilities by SKU or foam size support tailored selections.

Once a toolbox setup is complete, users can purchase the complete Sonic S-Series Toolbox and SFS modular foam sets in one transaction from SonicToolsUSA.com. If they are adding to an existing toolbox, one can purchase only the additional foam modules they require. The design can also be saved as a PDF document called "Build Report" for future use and research.

The SFS Efficiency Edge

Each SFS toolset comes marked and identified clearly with a two-tone system for easy reference of any missing tools—all within chemical resistant foam designed to hold up in the most rugged environments. Featuring CNC-machined and labeled foam, anyone can quickly see if any tools are missing from their designated space. Independent time studies show that when using SFS toolsets, a technician can take inventory of the toolbox faster, reduce misplaced tools, and retrieve and return tools more quickly, resulting in a 78 percent faster inventory of the toolbox; an 80 percent reduction in misplaced tools; and 20 percent faster tool retrieval and return.

Acurx Pharmaceuticals Announces First Patient Enrolled in PATHFINDER Clinical Trial of Ibezapolstat in Multiply-Recurrent C. difficile Infection
Original HTML

Acurx Pharmaceuticals Announces First Patient Enrolled in PATHFINDER Clinical Trial of Ibezapolstat in Multiply-Recurrent C. difficile Infection

- PATHFINDER is a ground-breaking Phase 2 clinical trial with ibezapolstat (IBZ) in patients with multiply-recurrent CDI (C. difficile Infection) (rCDI) that, together with results from the planned ASPIRE Phase 3 trial in the broader patient population for the treatment of acute CDI, has potential to shift the paradigm of treatment and prevention of rCDI from two agents to one

- PATHFINDER by itself in patients with multiply-recurrent CDI will inform elements of a planned active-controlled, Phase 3 registration trial in rCDI. Upon subsequent successful completion of PATHFINDER, Acurx plans to request FDA approval for treatment and prevention of rCDI under the FDA's Limited Population Pathway for Antibacterial and Antifungal Drugs*

- Acurx is well positioned to commence its international pivotal Phase 3 ASPIRE trial, subject to funding availability, having both FDA and EMA alignment on the Phase 3 clinical program and pathway to U.S. NDA and MAA in the EU

- Acurx has previously been granted FDA QIDP and Fast-Track Designation and has received SME (Small and Medium-sized Enterprise) designation by the EMA

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y., Sept. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Acurx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACXP) ("Acurx" or the "Company"), a late-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a new class of antibiotics for difficult-to-treat bacterial infections, today announced that the first patient has been enrolled in its new clinical trial (PATHFINDER) in patients with multiply recurrent C. difficile Infection (rCDI). This new, fully funded,PATHFINDER clinical trial is a pilot trial in approximately 20 patients with multiply-recurrent CDI (at least three episodes over the past 12 months), and will support filing of a U.S. NDA (New Drug Application) based on a single Phase 3 trial.

ThePATHFINDER Phase 2 multicenter, open-label, single-arm study evaluates the efficacy and safety of ibezapolstat in the treatment and reduction of recurrence of CDI in patients who have experienced at least 3 episodes of CDI within the past 12 months. Participants will be treated with IBZ for 14 days and assessed for Clinical Cure (Day 16), Sustained Clinical Cure (Day 42), rate of CDI recurrence (to Week 24), and Extended Clinical Cure (to Week 24).

https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT07513285?term=acurx&viewType=Card&rank=2

Separately, the planned ASPIRE trial is of non-inferiority design with the primary efficacy analysis in the Modified Intent-To-Treat (mITT) population and will result in approximately 550 subjects in the mITT population, randomized in a 1:1 ratio to either ibezapolstat or standard-of-care vancomycin. The ASPIRE trial will be conducted when the Company has sufficient resources from public or private partnership(s) to fund this trial.

Acurx's Executive Chairman, Bob DeLuccia, stated: "We're very excited about our current momentum in moving ibezapolstat a few steps closer toward commercialization having a clearly defined regulatory and clinical pathway." He added: "We believe ibezapolstat has the potential to be the first agent to demonstrate clinical success in both the treatment of CDI and the prevention of rCDI, potentially shifting the paradigm of treatment and prevention of rCDI from two agents to one. This would be a game changer to the public health threat that affects approximately 500,000 patients with CDI each year in the U.S., resulting in approximately 30,000 deaths, and generating a related public health cost burden of approximately $5 billion, of which $2.8 billion is related to rCDI."

Acurx previously announced the successful outcome of a Type C Meeting conducted with FDA on July 13, 2026 to discuss ibezapolstat's Phase 3 clinical program and scope of its planned NDA. The Agency stated that it is open to further discussion at a Pre-NDA Meeting regarding the possibility of submitting an NDA with only a single Phase 3 trial, depending on the totality of the clinical data plus any other supportive data that Acurx may generate by that milestone. The Agency noted that determination of acceptability of one Phase 3 clinical trial for an NDA is made on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration such factors as the magnitude, consistency, and overall robustness of the efficacy results; generalizability of the results to the US population; relevance of the results to US patient care and clinical practice guidelines; Phase 2 data; and an adequate safety database. The Agency acknowledged Acurx's planned clinical trial in recurrent CDI (rCDI) and noted the data from this rCDI trial, if successful, would support an NDA submission. If the IBZ-ASPIRE trial does not meet these criteria, then a second trial consistent with the agreement reached at the end of Phase 2 (EOP2) meeting on April 27, 2024, is recommended.

The currently planned IBZ-ASPIRE trial is of non-inferiority design with the primary efficacy analysis in the Modified Intent-To-Treat (mITT) population. This will result in approximately 550 subjects in the mITT population, randomized in a 1:1 ratio to either ibezapolstat or standard-of-care vancomycin. The Agency also agreed with the overall trial design and evaluation criteria and further agreed that the trial testing criteria, if successful, could support indications for both the acute treatment and the reduction of recurrence of CDI. In the event non-inferiority of ibezapolstat to vancomycin for Clinical Cure of CDI is demonstrated, further analyses will be conducted to test for superiority for reduction of recurrence and for clinical cure of CDI.

About Ibezapolstat

Ibezapolstat is the Company's lead antibiotic candidate planning to advance to international Phase 3 clinical trials to treat patients with C. difficile infection. Ibezapolstat is a novel, orally administered antibiotic, being developed as a Gram-Positive Selective Spectrum (GPSS®) antibacterial. It is the first of a new class of DNA polymerase IIIC inhibitors under development by Acurx to treat bacterial infections. Ibezapolstat's unique spectrum of activity, which includes C. difficile but spares other Firmicutes and the important Actinobacteria phyla, appears to contribute to the maintenance of a healthy gut microbiome.

In June 2018, ibezapolstat was designated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a Qualified Infectious Disease Product (QIDP) for the treatment of patients with CDI and will be eligible to benefit from the incentives for the development of new antibiotics established under the Generating New Antibiotic Incentives Now (GAIN) Act. In 2019, FDA granted "Fast Track" designation to ibezapolstat for the treatment of patients with CDI. The CDC has designated C. difficile as an urgent threat highlighting the need for new antibiotics to treat CDI.

About the Ibezapolstat Phase 2 Clinical Trial

The completed multicenter, open-label single-arm segment (Phase 2a) study was followed by a double-blind, randomized, active-controlled, non-inferiority, segment (Phase 2b) at 28 US clinical trial sites which together comprise the Phase 2 clinical trial. (see https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04247542). This Phase 2 clinical trial was designed to evaluate the clinical efficacy of ibezapolstat in the treatment of CDI including pharmacokinetics and microbiome changes from baseline and continue to test for anti-recurrence microbiome properties seen in the Phase 2a trial, including the treatment-related changes in alpha diversity and bacterial abundance and effects on bile acid metabolism. (Data published in Lancet, August 2025 https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanmic/article/PIIS2666-5247(25)00054-0/fulltext).

About Clostridioides difficile Infection (CDI) and Recurrent CDI (rCDI)

According to the 2017 Update (published February 2018) of the Clinical Practice Guidelines for C. difficile Infection by the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) and Society or Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), CDI remains a significant medical problem in hospitals, in long-term care facilities and in the community. C. difficile is one of the most common causes of health care-associated infections in U.S. hospitals (Lessa, 2015, NEJM). Recent estimates suggest C. difficile approaches 500,000 infections annually in the U.S. and is associated with approximately 30,000 deaths annually. (Guh, 2020, NEJM. Based on internal estimates, the recurrence rate for the antibiotics currently used to treat CDI is between 20% and 40% among approximately 150,000 patients treated. We believe the annual incidence of CDI in the U.S. approaches 600,000 infections and a mortality rate of approximately 9.3%.

In recent studies, rCDI incidence ranges from 4% to 19.5% following treatment with fidaxomicin and 17 to 27% following treatment with vancomycin. In patients with multiple prior episodes of CDI, rCDI following treatment with vancomycin is even more problematic, with an incidence of up to 40%. Consequently, the principal unmet medical need in this disease is the prevention of recurrence. The estimated annual public health cost burden in the U.S. annually is ~$5 billion annually with ~$2.8 billion due to recurrent CDI.

About the Microbiome in C. difficile Infection (CDI) and Bile Acid Metabolism

C. difficile can be a normal component of the healthy gut microbiome, but when the microbiome is thrown out of balance, the C. difficile can thrive and cause an infection. After colonization with C. difficile, the organism produces and releases the main virulence factors, the two large clostridial toxins A (TcdA) and B (TcdB). (Kachrimanidou, Microorganisms 2020, 8, 200; doi:10.3390/microorganisms8020200.) TcdA and TcdB are exotoxins that bind to human intestinal epithelial cells and are responsible for inflammation, fluid and mucous secretion, as well as damage to the intestinal mucosa.
