NBA legend Ray Allen and Ding Yanyuhang engage with the community on opening day

Bringing together youth from and the Greater Bay Area to foster exchange and inclusion

MACAO, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- With The NBA China Games 2026 set to take place in Macao, Sands China has once again partnered with NBA Cares to present the five-day "NBA Cares x Sands Cares Community Impact Week 2026" from Oct. 7 to 11. Bringing together NBA legends and current players to engage with the community through a series of inclusive sports activities and interactive experiences, the initiative extends the impact of the world-class basketball event into the Macao community, while promoting social inclusion, inspiring positive youth development, and demonstrating care for the local community through meaningful action.

Youth Day, which marked the first event of the Impact Week, took place today (Oct. 7) at the Macao East Asian Games Dome. This year, the initiative expanded its reach to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), bringing together 150 young basketball players aged 11 to 14 from eight Macao schools, namely Yuet Wah College, Instituto Salesiano, Lou Hau High School, Keang Peng School, Pui Ching Middle School, Sacred Heart Canossian College (English Section), Pui Va Middle School, and Escola da Sagrada Familia, as well as 50 young players from Hong Kong and mainland GBA cities.

The participating GBA youth took part in professional training sessions led by NBA legend Ray Allen –– a two-time NBA champion, 10-time NBA All-Star, two-time All-NBA Team, member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and 2018 Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee –– together with NBA coaches, renowned Chinese basketball player Ding Yanyuhang, and China women's basketball national team player Zhang Ziyu.

The event aimed to give young people from across the GBA the opportunity to engage closely with world-class basketball talent and enhance their basketball skills, while fostering interaction and exchange among youth from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Through building friendships and sharing experiences, Youth Day encouraged participants to develop self-confidence and teamwork, while further strengthening connections among young people across the GBA. Together with Sands China executives and Sands Cares Ambassadors, the event attracted a total of 300 participants.

Friendly matches brought together young players from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, who first underwent professional fitness assessments and took part in a basketball clinic led by NBA coaches, receiving training in footwork, ball-handling, and offensive and defensive techniques. They were then selected to form mixed teams comprising players from across the three regions to compete in separate boys' and girls' matches. NBA legend Ray Allen and NBA coaches served as mentors throughout, offering hands-on guidance and sharing valuable on-court experience. The young athletes honed their basketball skills and forged friendships in a spirited and enthusiastic environment, demonstrating the power of sport to transcend geographical boundaries and bring young people together.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, executive vice chairman of Sands China Ltd., said: "Our heartfelt thanks go to the Macao SAR government and all sectors of the community for their tremendous support, which has enabled us to leverage The NBA China Games, a world-class sporting event, for a second consecutive year to bring positivity and care into the community. We not only present this top-notch basketball competition to residents and visitors, but also draw on this platform to connect with the local community and create valuable opportunities for people from various sectors of society to engage and learn from NBA legends, fully embodying the commitment of Sands Cares and NBA Cares to giving back to the community. This year, we expanded participation in Youth Day to the Greater Bay Area, giving more young people the opportunity to receive firsthand guidance and inspiration from world-class players, while strengthening connections among youth across the region. We also organised the Her Time To Play seminar, inviting accomplished women to share their personal growth stories with young people, encouraging the youth to build confidence and pursue their dreams. Looking ahead, Sands China will continue to fully support the Macao SAR government's direction of promoting economic diversification, while deepening the synergy of sports and tourism, further enhancing Macao's status as a City of Sports, and injecting sustained vitality into its position as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure."

The event also featured an individual skills challenge for young players, testing their speed, basketball skills and concentration through a series of challenges, including cone dribbling, precision passing and sprint layups. Following the spirited competition, an awards ceremony was held to recognise the outstanding young players for their exceptional performances.

A Her Time To Play seminar was also held, with NBA's associate vice president and head of international basketball relations Dawn Smyth; Dallas Mavericks' chief communications officer Gina Miller; Houston Rockets' president Gretchen Sheirr; and Sands China's senior vice president and chief marketing officer of resort marketing DeVonne Iao joining as guest speakers to share their experiences of personal and career development. From striving for excellence in sport to navigating career choices, they shared insights with the young participants and encouraged them to build confidence and pursue their goals with courage.

The "NBA Cares x Sands Cares Community Impact Week 2026" is taking place over five consecutive days, Oct. 7-11, featuring a diverse programme of activities focused on youth development, healthy living and community inclusion. Current NBA players and legends will engage with communities across Macao, with the initiative seeking to extend the impact of the NBA sporting event into the community and enable more Macao residents to experience the positive energy and excitement generated by the world-class basketball event.

Tomorrow (Oct. 8), a Tip-off event for the Impact Week will take place at The Venetian Arena. Players from the Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets will make a special appearance, leading Macao secondary school students in a basketball clinic and bringing the excitement and positive spirit of The NBA China Games further into the Macao community.

AHRQ Launches Super Intelligence Prize Competition to Transform Healthcare Evidence and Data

Up to $7.95 million in prizes to put American super intelligence to work for patients

ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is announcing its Super Intelligence (SI) for Healthcare Improvement Initiative, a two-part prize competition. The first part, the Clinical Evidence Synthesis Transformation Challenge, seeks to revolutionize the evaluation of medical evidence, potentially reducing analysis times from a year or more to hours. It offers a $5.35 million prize — the largest individual SI grand prize to date. Finalists will be judged on the submission's transformative potential, including factors such as accuracy, throughput, reproducibility, usability and ease of operation.

"Reliable clinical evidence is critical for doctors, patients, payers and policymakers. We now have technologies that will allow us to accomplish the essential core function of evidence synthesis with previously unimaginable speed, consistency and reproducibility," said AHRQ Director Roger D. Klein, M.D., J.D. "This challenge will benefit American patients by improving healthcare quality and value, ensuring they receive health services that work while avoiding unnecessary or even harmful care."

The second part, the SI Tech Sprint for Healthcare Research and Implementation Quality and Safety, uses super intelligence to leverage AHRQ's important cost, utilization and quality databases to foster an SI-able ecosystem of applications for research, quality improvement and public access.

AHRQ's $7.95 million initiative follows President Donald Trump's September 29, 2026, executive order, Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence. It puts U.S. SI innovation to work for the American people. This challenge will help doctors, patients and consumers make better healthcare decisions and use resources more effectively.

The executive order notes that today's frontier systems are "empowering Americans to achieve what was previously impossible across science, medicine, and nearly every other domain of human endeavor." AHRQ's initiative applies that potential to some of healthcare's most time- and resource-intensive tasks while enabling entirely new activities.

"AHRQ is uniquely positioned to turn recent advances in SI into better healthcare," said Gil Alterovitz, Ph.D., Chief Data Officer and Chief Super Intelligence Officer at AHRQ. "Our national data resources, evidence expertise and focus on care delivery create enormous potential for this initiative. By bringing SI and data leadership together, we can help people get answers and improve care with scientific rigor."

AHRQ invites individuals, teams and for-profit and nonprofit entities to compete. Nontraditional participants are encouraged to compete. AHRQ will host an informational webinar on the SI Tech Sprint December 1, 2026. Phase 1 submissions for the Clinical Evidence Synthesis Transformation Challenge are due March 12, 2027, and SI Tech Sprint submissions are due September 9, 2027.

The initiative is part of the Trump administration's commitment to American leadership in super intelligence and to ensuring its benefits reach the American people.

Harris | Oakmark continues to expand active ETF suite targeting U.S. value opportunities
Image File
Original HTML

CHICAGO, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris | Oakmark announces the launch of a new exchange-traded fund: Oakmark U.S. Concentrated ETF (OAKL). Consistent with other Harris | Oakmark offerings, the ETF employs a value investment philosophy to identify quality companies priced at a discount to the investment team's estimate of intrinsic value and seeks competitive long-term performance by investing in focused portfolios grounded in disciplined, bottom-up research.

The launch expands Harris | Oakmark's active ETF suite, joining the Morningstar Gold Medalist-rated Oakmark U.S. Large Cap ETF (OAKM), Oakmark International Large Cap ETF (OAKI) and Oakmark Global Large Cap ETF (OAKG). The firm's ETFs combine value investing expertise with the benefits of an ETF structure, including transparency, intra-day liquidity, and the potential for tax-efficient investing.

The Oakmark U.S. Concentrated ETF (OAKL) is managed by Alex Fitch, CFA, Portfolio Manager, Director of U.S. Research, and Co-Chief Investment Officer - U.S., and Robert Bierig, Deputy Chairman and Portfolio Manager. OAKL will typically hold 15-25 larger U.S. companies, providing a concentrated, high-conviction approach to large-cap value.

"With this new fund, we continue to offer clients our consistent value investment philosophy," said Alex Fitch. "Our approach is rooted in understanding businesses from the bottom up and investing when we believe a meaningful gap exists between price and intrinsic value. We then apply a patient discipline while that gap closes over time."

"A concentrated portfolio is a natural extension of that discipline," added Robert Bierig. "OAKL reflects our approach of allocating capital to a focused group of businesses where we see the most compelling long-term opportunities for investors."

The Morningstar Medalist RatingTM is the summary expression of Morningstar's forward-looking analysis of investment strategies as offered via specific vehicles using a rating scale of Gold, Silver, Bronze, Neutral, and Negative. The Medalist Ratings indicate which investments Morningstar believes are likely to outperform a relevant index or peer group average on a risk-adjusted basis over time. Morningstar expresses the Morningstar Medalist Rating on a five-tier scale running from Gold to Negative. For actively managed funds, Morningstar assigns Gold, Silver, and Bronze ratings to vehicles expected to add value, or "positive alpha," over the long term when compared with a relevant Morningstar Category index after accounting for fees and risk. For passive strategies, Morningstar assigns Gold, Silver, and Bronze ratings to vehicles expected to deliver alpha that exceeds the lesser of the category median net alpha, or zero, over the long term. Understanding the risks

Investing involves risk; principal loss is possible. There is no guarantee each Fund's investment objectives will be achieved. The Funds are actively managed and do not seek to replicate a specific index. Exchange-Traded Fund (ETFs) are subject to additional risks that do not apply to conventional mutual funds, including the risks that the market price of ETF's shares may trade at a premium or discount to its net asset value (NAV), an active secondary trading market may not develop or be maintained, or trading may be halted by the exchange in which they trade, which may impact an ETF's ability to sell its shares. Unlike mutual funds, ETF shares are bought and sold at market price, which may be higher or lower than their NAV, and are not individually redeemed from the fund. Brokerage commissions will reduce returns. The Fund invests primarily in larger capitalization securities, which may be unable to respond quickly to new competitive challenges or opportunities, attain the high growth rate of successful smaller companies, or be out of favor under certain market conditions. Because the Fund is non-diversified, the performance of each holding will have a greater impact on the Fund's total return and may make the Fund's returns more volatile than a more diversified fund. Value stocks may fall out of favor with investors and underperform growth stocks during given periods. As the Funds are new, there is a limited operating history and there can be no assurance each fund will grow to an economically viable size, in which case it may cease operations and require investors to liquidate or transfer their investments. These and other risk considerations, such as market, sector or industry, large shareholder, and value style, are described in detail in the Fund's prospectus.

Before investing, carefully consider fund investment objectives, risks, charges and other expenses. Commercial Roofing Expert Eric Schultz Outlines Roof Preparation for Wisconsin Winter in HelloNation
Image File
Original HTML

The article explains how fall roof preparation can help commercial buildings manage snow, ice, heat loss, and other winter conditions.

APPLETON, Wis., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- How can Wisconsin businesses prepare their commercial roofs to handle winter weather before severe storms arrive? This question is answered in a HelloNation article that features guidance from Commercial Roofing Expert Eric Schultz of Borsche Roofing Professionals in Appleton, WI.

The HelloNation feature begins by explaining that roof preparation must start well before the first snowfall. Winter conditions reveal small weaknesses that are harder to notice during warmer months. Snow, freezing rain, and extended cold periods place steady pressure on membranes, seams, and drainage systems. The article shows that when owners prepare early, they help prevent problems that can lead to expensive repairs once harsh weather begins

The article highlights the role of drainage systems in winter performance. Flat and low-slope commercial roofs depend on drains, scuppers, and gutters to guide water away from the surface. When these areas fill with leaves or debris, water pools and freezes during cold nights. Frozen water expands and places pressure on the roof membrane, which increases the chance of cracks or seam separation. The HelloNation feature explains that clearing drainage pathways is a key part of roof preparation because it allows meltwater to move safely off the roof once winter storms arrive.

Insulation is another major point in the article. Insulation that has become compressed or damaged no longer prevents heat from leaving the building. When heat escapes, it warms the underside of the snow, which causes melting. That melted snow refreezes near colder edges and forms ice dams. Ice dams trap water and force it under the membrane, which leads to leaks and interior damage. The HelloNation article explains that proper roof preparation includes checking insulation performance before winter so buildings maintain more consistent temperatures. These improvements support comfort and reduce energy costs throughout the season.

The article also describes the importance of reviewing seams and flashing. These components form the seals that keep moisture out and connect different parts of the roof system. Over time, they loosen from exposure to the sun, temperature shifts, and wind. The HelloNation feature explains that small gaps may appear minor in the fall but become serious once snow and ice settle across the roof. Commercial Roofing Expert Eric Schultz recommends repairing weak points early so the roof remains secure during winter. This type of roof preparation helps prevent moisture from entering areas that are difficult to reach once storms begin.

Rooftop equipment receives attention as well. Commercial roofs often support HVAC units, vents, communication devices, and mechanical systems. These units require strong seals at the points where they meet the roof. Winter storms can create vibration or shift equipment slightly, which opens small pathways for water. The HelloNation article states that roof preparation includes checking mounts, seals, and surrounding areas to avoid avoidable leaks. Technicians can reinforce these connections before cold weather increases stress on the equipment.

Snow load management is another major part of the article. Flat commercial roofs tend to hold snow longer than sloped roofs. Heavy, wet snow adds significant weight that can cause sagging or structural strain. The HelloNation feature explains that owners benefit from establishing a snow removal plan before storms arrive. Contractors can identify areas where snow gathers more heavily and recommend measures to keep the building safe. Commercial Roofing Expert Eric Schultz highlights that roof preparation includes knowing when to remove snow and how to do so safely.

The article notes that cleaning the roof surface is another important step. Leaves, branches, and old materials can trap moisture, freeze into sharp edges, or block drainage paths. These issues increase the risk of leaks and membrane damage. The HelloNation feature shows that a clean roof improves drainage and prevents punctures during winter. Removing debris in the fall allows snow to melt and move evenly across the surface, reducing stress on vulnerable areas. This part of roof preparation supports better winter performance and lowers the chance of surprise problems.

Professional inspections remain one of the most reliable parts of roof preparation. A contractor can examine the roof membrane, check drainage components, and evaluate insulation. A detailed inspection reveals hidden concerns that may become worse during winter storms. The HelloNation article explains that early repairs help strengthen weak areas and improve the roof's ability to withstand long periods of freezing temperatures.

Energy efficiency is another focus in the article. When roofs are not well prepared, heat loss increases, and HVAC systems work harder throughout winter. The HelloNation feature explains that roof preparation improves insulation, tightens seams, and reduces air movement. These improvements help maintain stable indoor temperatures and support more efficient heating. Many owners notice lower utility costs after completing proper preparation steps because the roof no longer allows heat to escape as easily.

The article concludes by stating that roof preparation is essential for protecting structures during Wisconsin's winter months. Snow, ice, and freezing temperatures create challenges that require attention long before the first storm arrives. The HelloNation feature shows that early planning reduces maintenance costs, protects structural components, and supports safe and comfortable indoor conditions. With the right preparation, commercial roofs remain strong through winter and continue performing reliably throughout the year.

How to Prepare Your Commercial Roof for a Wisconsin Winter features insights from Eric Schultz, Commercial Roofing Expert of Appleton, WI, in HelloNation.

Enverus gives land and title teams a faster path to title certainty

Runsheet Assistant, a new AI capability within Enverus Courthouse, analyzes an entire chain of title in a single query, cutting analysis time by up to 75%

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Enverus has introduced Runsheet Assistant, a new AI capability within Enverus Courthouse that gives land, title, and legal teams a faster path to title certainty. Teams can now analyze an entire chain of title in a single query, cutting runsheet analysis time by up to 75%, depending on the task.

For decades, title work has meant reviewing documents one at a time. Even with digital access to courthouse records, professionals still have to open, read, and cross-reference dozens or hundreds of filings by hand to understand a single ownership position.

Runsheet Assistant accelerates that process. Instead of working document by document, users query an entire document set at once. The AI identifies relationships across filings, reconstructs chains of title, and surfaces ownership and lease insights across a tract in minutes.

"Land workflows today are still largely manual and fragmented," said Silas Martin, VP and GM of Land Products at Enverus. "We have always provided the data. Now we are enabling customers to move through that data dramatically faster and actually make sense of it at scale. In many cases, that means running title up to 75% faster."

Joshua Strange, chief operating officer at Wing Resources, an Enverus customer, added his support for Enverus solutions, tools and capabilities. "It's become so easy to run title through Enverus Courthouse, which allows us to search for all the documents pertaining to a specific section of land, rather than indexing a name across an entire county and pulling up records on a lot of land we're not interested in. We can really home in on specific tracts and understand the full title history. That has saved us a ton of time verifying basic information up front when we first make contact with sellers. It's great data, and it makes our job easier."

Built on a structural advantage in courthouse data

Unlike other solutions that require users to gather and upload documents, Runsheet Assistant operates directly on Enverus Courthouse data, which includes more than 350 million records collected from county courthouses across key producing regions.

This eliminates the need for document assembly and allows users to move immediately from search to analysis.

Designed for how title work actually happens

Runsheet Assistant reflects the reality that title is not a single-document task. It is a relational process that requires understanding how records connect across time, parties, and acreage.

What customers can do with Runsheet Assistant

Runsheet creation: Generate chains of title, ownership history, and party relationships across 100 or more documents in a single analysis.

Chain of title review: Trace how title has changed over time without reconstructing it by hand.

Restriction recognition: Surface every restriction on an asset before you bid.

Pre-acquisition and legal diligence: Find ownership gaps and title risks earlier in the evaluation process.

Reducing manual effort and missed context

In traditional workflows, scale increases both effort and risk. As document volumes grow, so does the likelihood of missing critical context buried deep in the record set.

By enabling analysis across entire document collections, Runsheet Assistant reduces both the time required to complete runsheets and the fragmentation that can lead to incomplete or inconsistent interpretation.

A shift from data access to workflow acceleration

Runsheet Assistant represents a broader shift in land technology, from providing access to records toward enabling AI-driven workflows that help professionals act on those records more efficiently.

For land managers, title analysts, and legal teams, the result is a faster path from raw data to usable insight, without changing where they work or how they approach title.

Available now

Runsheet Assistant is available today to Enverus Courthouse subscribers.

DENSO Manufacturing Michigan Celebrates 40 Years with $250K Battle Creek Housing Fund Donation

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, U.S. Representative Bill Huizenga and DENSO leaders

join anniversary ceremony recognizing four decades of manufacturing excellence and

community partnership

BATTLE CREEK, Mich., Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DENSO Manufacturing Michigan, Inc. (DMMI), today celebrated 40 years of operations in Battle Creek with a $250,000 donation to the Battle Creek Housing Fund. The gift reinforces DENSO's longstanding commitment to the community it has called home since 1986.

Led in partnership by the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the City of Battle Creek and Battle Creek Unlimited, the fund supports affordable, workforce and market-rate housing. DENSO's contribution will help address a shortage of homes in the area by advancing the fund's goal to build or rehabilitate 1,000 homes by 2035.

DMMI Key Facts

Since production began on July 1, 1986, DMMI has grown from DENSO's first manufacturing facility in North America into Calhoun County's largest employer and a cornerstone of the company's North American manufacturing network.

The site began with a goal of employing approximately 200 team members and has since expanded into a 1.38 million-square-foot operation with more than 2,000 team members producing advanced automotive thermal technologies for carmakers across North America.

A Celebration Rooted in Manufacturing Leadership, Community Partnership

To commemorate the milestone, DMMI hosted a 40th anniversary event today featuring DENSO leaders from its regional and global headquarters, along with remarks from DMMI President Shuichi "Shu" Kamakura, DENSO North America CEO Tomoyuki "Tom" Arakawa, Battle Creek Mayor Mark Behnke, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer and U.S. Representative Bill Huizenga. Together, participants reflected on DENSO's four decades of innovation, manufacturing leadership and investment in the Battle Creek community.

"Reaching 40 years is an incredible milestone for DENSO Manufacturing Michigan and a testament to the dedication of generations of team members who have helped build our success," said Shuichi "Shu" Kamakura, DMMI president. "We are deeply grateful to our teams, customers and community partners for their trust and support through the past four decades. We make today's donation to help show this appreciation and contribute to efforts to make affordable housing more accessible locally – an important need for the Battle Creek community."

"DMMI holds a special place in DENSO's history as our first manufacturing operation in North America," said Tomoyuki "Tom" Arakawa, CEO of DENSO in North America. "For 40 years, the Battle Creek team has demonstrated the innovation, quality and commitment that define DENSO. We are grateful for the partnership of this community and excited about the opportunities ahead as we continue investing in our team, manufacturing and mobility."

Supporting Michigan's Manufacturing Future

The anniversary celebration and Governor Gretchen Whitmer's attendance comes at a significant moment in DMMI's evolution. In 2023, the State of Michigan supported DENSO's $63 million investment in the facility, which helped retool production areas and prepare the site to manufacture advanced thermal technologies that would support the next generation of electrified vehicles.

Today, a new production line enabled by the investment is now in operation at DMMI, supplying advanced heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) technology to a major carmaker.

The project demonstrates DENSO's continued commitment to advanced manufacturing in Michigan while positioning the facility to meet customers' evolving needs in an increasingly electrified automotive market.

"Michigan is proud to celebrate 40 years of partnership with DENSO," said Governor Gretchen Whitmer. "DMMI supports over 2,000 good-paying jobs, produces cutting-edge technology, and is a cornerstone of the Battle Creek community. Together, we are building the future of the auto industry right here in Michigan. I am so grateful for DENSO's continued investment in Battle Creek, and I look forward to many more years of innovation, growth, and partnership."

Analysis highlights lower costs and utilization, fewer readmissions and higher HCC recapture through an integrated population health strategy

DALLAS, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Lightbeam Health Solutions, a proven AI-enabled solutions and services leader helping healthcare organizations succeed in value-based care, today announced results from Primary Partners Alliance (PPA) population health strategy, which leverages Lightbeam's platform to identify patient risk and care gaps, prioritize outreach, and support more coordinated care.

A one-year analysis of PPA's Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and ACO REACH population found that patients that PPA successfully identified, engaged, and supported through a completion of an Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) consistently demonstrated better outcomes than those who did not complete an AWV. The findings reinforce PPA's approach of using AWVs as an entry point to ongoing patient engagement and care management.

Key findings included:

- Nearly $70 lower healthcare costs PMPM ($947 vs. $1,014)

- 44% lower readmission rates (9% vs. 16%)

- Lower emergency department utilization (272/K vs. 286/K)

- Higher HCC recapture (70% vs. 57%)

PPA uses Lightbeam to support patient identification, population health analytics, outreach, and performance visibility, helping care teams identify risk, close care gaps, strengthen documentation, and connect patients with appropriate support. Alliance for Community Health, a nonprofit organization, also plays an important role in PPA's strategy by assisting with population health management.

"Our goal is to give independent practices the visibility and support they need to succeed in value-based care while keeping the focus where it belongs—on the patient," said Lisa Bloder, Executive Director of Population Health at Primary Partners of Florida. "When our providers have a clearer picture of their patients and the support to act on that information, they can focus more of their time on delivering high-quality care while building practices that can succeed for the long term."

For PPA's network of 251 providers, this initiative directly advances Primary Partners' mission of making comprehensive, coordinated primary care more accessible. It empowers independent practices to thrive in value-based care by providing greater transparency, actionable insights, and the resources needed to remain strong, sustainable, and independent while delivering high-quality patient care.

"PPA demonstrates what's possible when organizations turn population health insights into meaningful action," said Melissa Tyler, Vice President of Advisory Services at Lightbeam Health Solutions. "Lower costs, fewer readmissions, reduced emergency department utilization, and stronger HCC recapture reflect the kind of performance value-based care organizations are working toward. PPA's results show the impact of building a population health strategy that extends beyond a single patient encounter and supports continuous improvement across the organization."

Apollo GraphQL Introduces GraphOS Agent Services, Giving AI Agents Governed Access to Enterprise APIs and Systems

New services extend Apollo's platform to AI agents, helping companies control what agents can find and do across existing systems; GraphOS MCP Server gives teams a full suite of agent-ready tools for building and managing the graph

Intuit is piloting GraphOS Agent Services and joins American Airlines, Block, and Expedia Group at Apollo Summit 2026 to share how Apollo powers their AI agents

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 7, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Apollo GraphQL, the graph-based API orchestration leader, today introduced Apollo GraphOS® Agent Services, giving AI agents secure, governed and auditable access to an enterprise's systems and APIs. Built on GraphOS, Apollo's platform for connecting and orchestrating enterprise APIs, Agent Services extends that infrastructure to AI agents, so companies can control what each agent can access and do. GraphOS today orchestrates more than 2 trillion operations monthly after more than a decade of production use. Apollo also expanded the GraphOS MCP Server into a full suite of agent-ready tools for building and managing the graph. Both were unveiled this week at Apollo Summit, the world's largest GraphQL event, in San Francisco.

Why Now: Your APIs Weren't Built for Agents

Companies adopting AI agents face a common challenge: agents need to call the same APIs that already run the business, but those APIs weren't built with agents in mind. The rules about what's safe to return usually live in a developer's judgment, not in the API itself, and agents don't have access to that judgement. Those rules need to be made explicit and hold every time, regardless of what the AI model decides. That takes a domain model – a clear, governed map of a company's systems and APIs, how they relate, and who or what is allowed to see and interact with them.

Most enterprise systems don't have one domain model built for this purpose today. A single request for a customer's name or email often returns far more than what was asked for – sensitive fields like personal information, billing details, or internal notes an agent shouldn't be able to access. Each extra field adds token cost. And any field that shouldn't have been exposed is now sitting in a chat window, a log, or a large language model's (LLM's) context window, outside anyone's control.

Most enterprise APIs were built for trusted developers, and that model breaks down with autonomous agents. Agents need their own identity, whether they act on someone's behalf or operate autonomously, and a permissioning model built specifically for how they access systems.

Gartner® projects that, "through 2028, at least 80% of unauthorized AI agent transactions will be caused by internal violations of enterprise policies concerning information oversharing, unacceptable use or misguided AI behavior rather than from malicious attacks."1 If agents can access a given field, they will, and what they'll do with it can't be predicted with accuracy. Deterministic access rules are the only way to limit that risk.

Introducing GraphOS Agent Services

GraphOS Agent Services sits between AI agents and an enterprise's systems. It translates each agent request into the right API calls, brokers the credentials for each one, and enforces controls on what a human or agent is allowed to see or do, field by field, with no LLM in the judgement loop. It does this through a new set of capabilities: search, so agents can find the right data and tools; identity, to manage credentials for an agent acting autonomously or on behalf of a human; policy, so companies can control exactly what each agent can see and do, down to an individual field; and audit, so there is a precise log of everything that happened for observability, insights, and compliance. With these new services, GraphOS provides one governed system in place of the ad hoc access most agents run on today.

"Enterprises need to adapt their APIs for AI agents," said Matt DeBergalis, CEO & co-founder, Apollo GraphQL. "They need to do it scalably, securely, and sustainably, with a common architecture that supports customer-facing AI, always-on business agents, and traditional software. GraphOS Agent Services adds the context they need, and provides a complete domain model for AI. It's the essential next step."

Intuit is live in production with GraphOS and piloting Agent Services in preview, running an intelligent business on top of real-time data: "Our marketing team used to wait weeks to learn which campaigns were working and weeks more to turn around a change, even when the fix was obvious. Every day of delay cost us real money," said Chris Miller, Head of AI Marketing Futures at Intuit. "Now our agents can analyze spend against results and propose a change in real time, because GraphOS Agent Services gives them access to only what they need and keeps an audit trail of everything. That's the only way we'd trust giving them this kind of authority."

Continued GraphOS Platform Investment

Apollo also announced continued platform investment to improve graph performance and help teams use agents to build and operate their graphs. The biggest update is in the core of how operations are processed: GraphOS Router 3.0, now in preview, introduces a new request pipeline and query planner that dramatically improve performance and reduce resource consumption. On typical workloads, Router 3.0 will spend 95% less time on query planning compared to Router 2.0. The improvement in the most complex graphs is even larger: more than 300x improvement on planning time and up to 97% less memory usage.

The GraphOS MCP Server has also grown into a full suite of agent-ready tools for building and managing the graph. The GraphOS Platform API is how teams automate GraphOS from their own code, from publishing schemas and running checks to managing variants and reading insights. The GraphOS MCP Server now exposes more of that API to agents, so those same actions can be driven in natural language instead of custom code. An agent can read a live graph and answer questions like "Is my graph healthy?" using the launch history, composition errors, lint, and metrics – the same diagnostics a platform engineer would run by hand, in minutes instead of an afternoon.

Two more updates support agents operating the graph itself. Apollo's library of Skills, which teaches agents Apollo's own expertise in Federation, Connectors, the Router, and much more, has grown to 14 skills with more than 47,000 installs – proof teams are already putting agents to work inside their GraphQL workflows. And the GraphOS Operator for Kubernetes can now centrally deploy and manage the Apollo MCP Server alongside other GraphOS infrastructure, simplifying operations for platform teams.

A full rundown of all new features and enhancements across the GraphOS platform, including Apollo Connectors, Apollo Client, client libraries, security, and deployment tooling, is available on the Apollo blog.

Join the conversation at Apollo Summit 2026

Apollo Summit, the world's largest GraphQL event, is underway this week in San Francisco at The Midway, running Oct 6-8 with 30+ sessions from teams proving that an API platform can, and should, become an AI platform.
