Fitness 19 Releases "How to Use Visualization to Help Improve Your Performance"

TEMECULA, Calif., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Fitness 19 has announced the release of its latest resource, "How to Use Visualization to Help Improve Your Performance." This guide offers an in-depth look at using visualization to improve athletic performance by focusing on the science behind visualization and tips and tricks for mastering visualization.

Visualization is the process of imagining oneself completing a certain action, process, or behavior successfully. Using all five senses, it requires a similar level of concentration as a strenuous workout. When done correctly, visualization engages the same neural pathways that are engaged during physical training and mentally prepares someone for the next skill attempt. Because people who visualize regularly spend time focusing on success, their brains are more prepared to succeed at things when opportunities arise.

Visualization is a personal process, so no two people will have the same visualization routine. When visualizing, people need to have a specific goal in mind, be in a quiet area, use their senses, and repeat the process. People use visualization for different purposes, including motivational, process, outcome, situational, and emotional. "Remember that your mental exercises are just as important as your physical ones, and training your brain will set you a step above the rest the next time you have practice," according to Fitness 19.

Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy to Headline End Well 2026 Summit, Taking On Loneliness at the End of Life

In conversation with CBS News correspondent Jamie Yuccas, Murthy will explore connection, AI, and what it takes to care for one another through illness, caregiving, and grief

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- End Well, the leading nonprofit working to make the end of life part of life, today announced that Dr. Vivek Murthy, the 19th and 21st Surgeon General of the United States and founder of The Together Project, will headline its 2026 Summit on November 12 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles and online. Murthy will speak with Jamie Yuccas, CBS News National Correspondent, about loneliness and human connection when people are facing serious illness, caregiving, dying, and grief.

The announcement comes as the country approaches a demographic turning point: the Congressional Budget Office projects that beginning in 2030, annual deaths in the United States will exceed births. This year's Summit asks, "When Does Now Begin?" The question runs through a day of talks and workshops that bring together people across disciplines and lived experiences to consider the choices people make, and the systems they encounter, long before and during a crisis.

Actress, writer, and caregiving advocate Yvette Nicole Brown will host the event, which is expected to draw hundreds of attendees in person and thousands more online. The program includes physician Lucy Kalanithi, MD, in conversation with patient Jessie Creel and physician and Claimable co-founder Warris Bokhari, MD, about finding a voice and a way forward inside healthcare systems. Other featured speakers include palliative care physician BJ Miller, MD; author Hope Edelman; physician and author Rana Awdish, MD; Modern Elder Academy founder Chip Conley; and dementia caregiver advocate Jessica Guthrie. Workshop leaders include death doula and Emmy-nominated television writer Darnell Lamont Walker; grief therapist and author Claire Bidwell Smith; and author Laurel Braitman. In one of the day's less expected sessions, members of the LA Improv Comics will lead a workshop that brings improv to the end-of-life conversation.

"When we started End Well, talking openly about death felt almost impossible. Nearly a decade later, we've watched that conversation move from the margins into living rooms, hospitals, and the culture at large," said Dr. Shoshana Ungerleider, founder of End Well, science journalist and a practicing physician. "Dr. Murthy has helped this country recognize loneliness as one of the most urgent health challenges we face. We are honored to welcome him to our stage."

Murthy's 2023 Surgeon General's advisory brought national attention to loneliness and social isolation as public health concerns. It reported that roughly half of American adults experience loneliness and that the mortality risk associated with lacking social connection is comparable to smoking up to 15 cigarettes a day. Murthy is the author of the New York Times bestseller Together: The Healing Power of Human Connection in a Sometimes Lonely World and also hosts the podcast and newsletter Staying Human, where a recent episode with surgeon and Being Mortal author Atul Gawande discussed what makes life worth living. In conversation with Yuccas, he'll explore what helps people stay connected when illness or loss changes their lives, what AI companions and chatbots mean for people facing illness and grief, and what support families and communities need to show up for one another.

"Loneliness is a signal, the same way hunger and thirst are, telling us that something we need for our health is missing," said Dr. Vivek Murthy. "Caring for one another through illness and grief is its own kind of medicine. End Well brings together people who know that care firsthand and people imagining better ways to make it possible. I'm honored to join them in this conversation."

"'When Does Now Begin?' is a question most of us put off until a diagnosis or a phone call answers it for us," said Tracy Wheeler, Executive Director of End Well, who curated the program. "We built this day around people whose authority comes from being close to dying, including caregivers, clinicians, patients, and artists. They know something the rest of us need to learn: how to stay present, sit with uncertainty, and find meaning inside loss. These are capacities for living, and we don't have to wait for a crisis to begin practicing them."

End Well 2026 will stream free worldwide. In-person tickets and free virtual registration are available HERE. Continuing education credits are planned for eligible healthcare professionals, pending accreditation approval. The Summit also sets the stage for End Well's 10th anniversary in 2027.

EcoFlow Debuts TITAN Series, Bringing Whole-Home Energy Security Within Reach of Everyday Families

Built to cut daily electricity costs and power through grid outages, the new ecosystem delivers heavy-duty backup at an accessible price

SEATTLE, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Homeowners facing surging utility bills and an unpredictable power grid have a simpler path to energy independence with today's launch of EcoFlow TITAN Series. Designed to make whole-home backup power practical and accessible, the ecosystem features three powerful options to choose from: TITAN 5000 Plus, TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Classic.

At a time when families are being asked to pay more for a power grid they can count on less, EcoFlow TITAN Series changes the game, offering an accessible home energy ecosystem that bridges the gap between emergency backup and daily savings. It offers whole-home performance, simple installation and flexible pricing.

Power Without Compromise

The flagship of the lineup, TITAN 5000 Plus, delivers 7.2kW of output from a 5kWh battery — enough power to run a 3-ton central air conditioner, refrigerator, TV and lights simultaneously without a soft-starter with power to spare. For homes with solar systems, output surges to 10kW with EcoFlow's X-Fusion 2.0 PV Boost.

Intelligent Energy Control

Paired with the EcoFlow Smart Home Panel 10, TITAN 5000 Plus and TITAN 5000 works with the grid and can also integrate with existing third-party rooftop solar systems without replacing your main electric panel or enduring long installation delays. The system works to analyze the three power sources at once by prioritizing clean solar first, storing surplus energy in the battery second and drawing expensive grid power only as a last resort.

Engineered for Efficiency

Under the hood, EcoFlow eliminates the old trade-off between power and capacity. Powered by an industry-first 40160 tabless 2C LFP cell, TITAN delivers high-rate output from a streamlined 5kWh footprint, giving families heavy-duty performance without overpaying for unnecessary storage.

For households that need more backup capacity, TITAN can scale in flexible 5kWh increments from 5kWh up to 30kWh, allowing users to expand the system as their energy needs grow. Solar panels and generators can further extend runtime, helping keep essential loads powered through prolonged outages.

Making Energy Costs More Predictable

TITAN Series is built for everyday life and not just for emergencies. Powered by EcoFlow's own OASIS 3.0 smart energy ecosystem, TITAN 5000 Plus uses forecast-based modeling to continuously optimize household power consumption. Through Time-of-Use (TOU) automation in the EcoFlow App, the system draws electricity when grid rates are lowest and discharges stored energy during peak pricing windows. Coordinating energy from grid, solar and battery storage provides a simple, automated way to shrink monthly utility bills.

A Simpler Path to Energy Independence

TITAN Series removes complexity and high contractor costs traditionally tied to home energy upgrades. Paired with Smart Home Panel 10, the ecosystem supports 50A whole-home current across 10 circuits without replacing any existing electrical panel or rooftop solar setup. During a blackout, the system switches to battery power in under 20 milliseconds, maintaining seamless power to everything from Wi-Fi routers to water pumps, all monitored and managed directly through the EcoFlow App.

To eliminate the headaches of traditional installations, EcoFlow pre-assembles breakers and pre-wires cables before shipping. This factory-level prep work reduces field labor by up to 80% and speeds up installation up to 8x compared to standard home backup systems, allowing TITAN installations to be completed in as little as seven days, with about two hours of work required on-site.

For long-term peace of mind, TITAN Series relies on a 200V high-voltage architecture and high-efficiency Silicon Carbide components to reduce current draw and thermal stress. The result is a streamlined design with fewer internal parts, lower heat and relentless reliability.

"Whole-home backup has traditionally required households to choose between the power they want and the cost and complexity they're willing to take on," said Brian Essenmacher, Head of U.S. Business Development at EcoFlow. "With TITAN, we're giving more families a practical way to get the power they need, while also helping them manage energy more intelligently every day."

Availability

The TITAN Series will be available starting Oct. 13 on the EcoFlow website. TITAN 5000 and TITAN 5000 Plus will be priced in the $3,000 range as standalone units and the $7,000 range with panel and installation. TITAN 5000 Classic will be priced in the $2,000 range as a standalone unit and the $5,000 range with panel and installation. Additional pricing details will be available on Nov. 3.

Greeneye Technology Establishes North American Headquarters in Salina, Kansas Following Record 2026 Season

- New headquarters supports Greeneye's next phase of growth following a season of expanded crop capabilities and 81% average herbicide savings across its customer portfolio.

SALINA, Kansas, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Greeneye Technology, a global leader in AI-powered targeted spraying technology, today announced it is establishing its North American headquarters in Salina, Kansas. The investment follows a 2026 season of expanded commercial use: Greeneye-equipped machines have sprayed more than 500,000 acres across 12 U.S. states with a weed detection accuracy rate of over 98%. Use of the system's unique dual-line design achieved an average non-residual herbicide savings of 81%, saving an estimated six million gallons of chemical across field operations.

Greeneye's 2026 season also marked significant progress in crop compatibility and strategic relationships. The Greeneye system now supports eight crop types: corn, soybeans, cotton, edible beans, wheat, barley, triticale, and sorghum—with oats, sugar beets, peanuts, and canola slated for introduction in 2027. The company also expanded its channel sales network, announcing the addition of new dealer partners, with more to follow in the coming months.

"Growers are seeing targeted spraying deliver measurable results on their fields," said Nadav Bocher, CEO and Co-Founder of Greeneye Technology. "The conversation has shifted. More growers are asking how they can add targeted spraying to their operations, rather than if they should. The momentum we saw in our 2026 season shows why this is the right time to expand our North American presence and build the infrastructure to support the next stage of growth."

The Salina headquarters will increase Greeneye's capacity to serve its growing North American customer base, expand its team, and advance its technical roadmap. The company selected Salina for its location near growers in the agricultural heartland, access to land for product development testing, transportation routes, and proximity to university talent. The decision was supported by a broad coalition of civic, economic development, and business leaders who worked together to showcase the region as a place where the company could build, hire, and scale for the long term.

"Salina puts us close to the growers and agricultural communities we serve, with the space and connections to keep building," said Keith Crow, General Manager for North America at Greeneye Technology. "We're excited to grow our team here and explore opportunities to work with Kansas State University and the wider academic community. This headquarters gives us the ideal base for supporting customers and continuing to improve our technology portfolio."

Greeneye's AI-powered targeted spraying system uses computer vision and machine learning to instantly identify weeds and apply non-residual herbicide only where needed. Its dual-tank, dual-line configuration allows operators to broadcast residual herbicides while targeting non-residual herbicides in the same pass. The technology can be installed on existing commercial sprayers, giving growers an opportunity to adopt targeted spraying without replacing their equipment.

"We're excited to welcome Greeneye Technology to Salina's business community," said Mitch Robinson, Executive Director of the Salina Economic Development Organization. "Greeneye is bringing proven advanced agricultural technology to a community that understands both farming and the work required to build and support equipment at scale. We look forward to helping the company grow its team and connections here."

"Kansas is the heart of American farming and a crossroads for agricultural innovation and growth," said Mike Beam, Kansas Secretary of Agriculture. "Greeneye's decision to establish its North American headquarters in Salina brings new opportunities for collaboration while helping growers put practical technology to work in their fields."

The company plans to begin hiring immediately, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and opportunity to visit the facility slated for early next year. More information on the company's 2026 performance can be found here.

About Greeneye Technology

Greeneye Technology was founded in 2017 with the mission to dramatically reduce chemical usage while increasing productivity and profitability for farmers. A global leader in AI-powered targeted spraying systems, the company's retrofit technology allows growers to reduce non-residual herbicide use while maintaining effective weed control. Greeneye's system helps farmers lower input costs, improve operational efficiency and support more sustainable crop production.

With more than 280,000 courts across the U.S., CourtsApp is the largest racquet sports marketplace in America, bringing court discovery, booking, open play tournaments and more

Players can explore CourtsApp, and facility operators can find and claim their facility at CourtsApp.com.

NEW YORK, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CourtsApp, the AI-powered discovery and booking marketplace for racquet sports, today announced its national expansion, bringing more than 67,000 facilities and 280,000 courts across the United States onto a single platform. The expansion marks a major step toward solving one of racquet sports' most persistent problems: finding a place to play.

As tennis, pickleball, padel and other racquet sports continue to surge in popularity, the places to play them remain highly fragmented. Players often have to search across individual club websites, park directories and search engines just to find a court.

CourtsApp brings that fragmented landscape together. Players can now search for places to play across the country, discover Tournaments and Open Play, book courts instantly at participating facilities, or connect directly to a facility's existing reservation system, all from one platform.

"There are more places to play racquet sports than ever before. Finding one shouldn't be the hard part," said Daren Hornig, founder and CEO of CourtsApp. "Our goal is simple: bring the entire racquet sports ecosystem together and make it dramatically easier for people to get on court. With more than 67,000 facilities now on CourtsApp, we're building the front door to racquet sports in America."

Facilities can participate in the way that works best for their business. They can be listed on CourtsApp to reach players searching for places to play, connect CourtsApp to their existing booking experience to drive qualified traffic, or enable Instant Booking, allowing players to discover, book and pay for courts directly through CourtsApp.

CourtsApp inventory can also be found through Google Reserve, ChatGPT, Claude and DUPR, as well as other platforms, extending facility discovery beyond CourtsApp itself and helping connect players with places to play wherever their search begins.

National expansion is the latest step in CourtsApp's ambition to become the Expedia of racquet sports: one destination where players across the country can discover where to play, compare their options and easily book the experience they want.

Global 300mm Fab Equipment Spending to Reach $227 Billion in 2029 as Buildout Accelerates, SEMI Projects

U.S. Construction Pipeline Expands Amid Strong Global 300mm Investment

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SEMICON West -- Global 300mm front-end fab equipment spending is projected to reach $149 billion in 2026, up 31% year-over-year, SEMI reported today in its latest 300mm Fab Outlook. Investment is expected to continue growing at double-digit rates through 2029, reaching $227 billion.

The stronger investment trajectory is accompanied by a sustained pipeline of new 300mm fabs and production lines moving through construction and into operation. Excluding pure R&D fabs, SEMI projects 20 new 300mm fabs or lines to begin construction worldwide in 2026 and 18 in 2027. In the United States, three are projected to begin construction in 2026 and four in 2027.

"Semiconductor demand is increasingly translating into physical manufacturing expansion across the global industry," said Ajit Manocha, SEMI President and CEO. "The latest outlook points to both stronger equipment investment and a substantial pipeline of fabs moving toward operation. This expansion will provide the manufacturing foundation needed to support AI, high-performance computing and a broad range of next-generation semiconductor applications."

Global Fab Construction Pipeline

Across all 300mm facilities, global fab construction spending is projected to rise 23% to $47.5 billion in 2026 and another 33% to $63.3 billion in 2027, before reaching $68.4 billion in 2028. The construction activity reflects continued investment in new manufacturing capacity across leading-edge logic, memory and other 300mm semiconductor technologies.

The U.S. represents an important part of this expansion, with additional 300mm fabs and lines expected to begin construction throughout the forecast period. Equipment investment in the Americas is projected to more than double from $18.1 billion in 2026 to $40.6 billion in 2029, reflecting the region's expanding manufacturing footprint.

SEMI projects 13 new 300mm fabs or lines worldwide to begin operations or ship first silicon in 2026, increasing to 23 in 2027.

The 3Q26 edition of the SEMI 300mm Fab Outlook reflects 166 changes across 163 fabs and lines, including 14 newly added records, since the previous report.

Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software has transformed how manufacturers program, simulate, and execute machining operations by embedding capabilities such as AI-assisted toolpath generation, associative design-to-manufacturing workflows, and integrated machining simulation into enterprise production programs. These innovations enable CNC programmers and machine shops to automate repetitive programming tasks, reduce costly shop-floor errors, and measure gains in machining accuracy and throughput across job shop, aerospace, automotive, and industrial machinery production. By integrating machine learning models, associative CAD-CAM data models, and simulation analytics, CAM platforms deliver continuous insight into production readiness and machining risk, ensuring greater operational efficiency and measurable outcomes. Manufacturers benefit from improved first-time-right machining, lower programming overhead, and more effective use of multi-axis machine tool capacity, especially in high-complexity sectors such as aerospace, medical devices, and tooling. Unifying design, machining, and simulation data across a single platform provides a clearer picture of production readiness, strengthening decision-making and aligning shop-floor execution with broader enterprise manufacturing objectives. This approach empowers organizations to maximize return on manufacturing technology investment, improve production predictability, and maintain competitiveness by ensuring that every part program operates efficiently from design through post-production review.

By machining & production, CNC machining will register the highest CAGR during the forecast period.

CNC machining is becoming the fastest-growing production category in the CAM Software Market as job shops and machine tool operators shift from manual and conventional machining toward digitally programmed CNC operations. New vendors can capture market share by offering automated feature recognition, AI-assisted toolpath generation, and prebuilt post-processor libraries that reduce the manual work of programming individual CNC operations. An illustrative example is Autodesk's September 2025 introduction of Systems Automation Modeler and its Toolpath partnership within Fusion, enabling automated toolpath generation and repeatable manufacturing patterns for CNC programmers. Another example is Siemens' partnership with CloudNC to bring CAM Assist to NX CAM, automating machining strategy creation for 3- and 3+2-axis CNC programming and reducing programming time from hours to minutes. These moves show that customers increasingly expect automated, AI-assisted programming to be native to the CNC workflow rather than bolted on through separate tools. For emerging vendors, the opportunity is in providing lightweight CNC programming modules, natural-language machining query tools, and benchmarking analytics that connect directly to shop-floor data. Vendors who deliver fast setup, strong machine tool and controller interoperability, and clear attribution from programming time to cycle-time savings will win in CNC-driven CAM software procurement.

By deployment type, cloud is expected to register the highest CAGR during the forecast period.

Cloud deployment, spanning design, programming, and machining simulation, is emerging as the fastest-growing deployment type in the CAM Software Market, as manufacturers increasingly favor vendor-hosted platforms over infrastructure they must maintain themselves. Enterprise buyers demand platforms that can scale across facilities, integrate with existing PLM and enterprise manufacturing systems, and support both regional and global production programs from one environment. One illustrative move is Autodesk's cloud-native Fusion platform, which bundles CAM, CAD, and simulation into a single subscription that scales with the number of active programmers rather than per-workstation licenses. Another example is Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which reported 14% growth in cloud software revenue in the second quarter of 2026, driven mainly by its Manufacturing Industries segment. Vendors can succeed in this segment by building scalable execution infrastructure, offering tiered support for programs ranging from small job shops to large multi-facility manufacturers, and ensuring reliable performance during peak production cycles. Key enablers include enterprise-grade security, single sign-on integration, and dedicated account support, allowing manufacturers to run recurring programming and simulation cycles with predictable, repeatable outcomes.

North America accounts for the largest market during the forecast period.

The North America CAM Software Market is becoming increasingly attractive for new and emerging vendors as enterprise capital budgets and manufacturing technology adoption converge. The region's dense concentration of aerospace, automotive, and industrial machinery manufacturers drives high-volume part-program requirements, from prototype development to full-rate production, creating sustained demand for platforms that can scale across multiple simultaneous production programs. Autodesk, for instance, has built its positioning around AI-powered Fusion CAM features and tight integration with existing enterprise design systems, reflecting the region's preference for platforms that plug into an enterprise's broader technology stack rather than operating as a standalone tool. Siemens has similarly expanded its footprint among large discrete manufacturers by combining NX CAM, simulation, and automation tools within a single Xcelerator platform. These shifts are opening opportunities for CAM providers to deliver solutions that integrate AI, simulation, and associative design-to-manufacturing workflows tailored to the operational needs of high-volume aerospace, automotive, and industrial machinery programs. By focusing on integration depth, modular deployment, and partnerships with machine tool and controller manufacturers, new entrants can establish strong footholds across these sectors. The region's combination of mature enterprise manufacturing software adoption, dense production calendars, and demand for measurable programming-time attribution positions North America as one of the most attractive markets for innovative CAM vendors.

CAM Software Market - Investment & funding +Merger & Acquisition

Investment and Funding Context

Investment activity in the CAM software ecosystem is increasingly focused on AI-enabled CNC programming, machining automation, and the expansion of established software distribution networks. In September 2026, CloudNC raised USD 20 million in new investment capital led by Nimble Ventures to accelerate adoption of CAM Assist, expand into new and existing markets, and develop additional AI-powered manufacturing products, including Quote Agent. In parallel, established industrial technology companies continued to strengthen their CAM portfolios through strategic acquisitions. Sandvik expanded Mastercam's direct sales and customer support network through acquisitions of regional channel partners in North America, Europe, and India during 2026. These developments highlight two distinct investment priorities: automating CNC programming workflows through AI and expanding the customer reach of established CAM software platforms.

Revenue Shift Context

The CAM software industry is evolving alongside broader manufacturing digitalization, with growing interest in cloud-based deployment, AI-assisted programming, integrated CAD/CAM workflows, and digital twin technologies. According to MarketsandMarkets' published CAM Software Market report, the global market was projected to grow from USD 3.40 billion in 2024 to USD 5.70 billion by 2030, at a reported CAGR of 9.0%. These figures are from the report published in November 2024 and should be treated as that edition's forecast, rather than a newly updated 2026 estimate. Although cloud subscriptions and AI-enabled manufacturing tools are relevant areas of development, the available evidence does not establish that cloud revenue is growing faster than traditional CAM licensing across the entire industry.

New survey from Subaru finds 73% of pet owners are more likely to drive instead of flying as travel plans increasingly account for family pets

CAMDEN, N.J., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Subaru of America, Inc. today announced new proprietary data revealing just how central family pets have become to Americans' holiday travel plans. Subaru owners have long championed the pet community through the Subaru Loves Pets® initiative, and new research shows that pet owners nationwide are increasingly prioritizing their animal companions when planning upcoming trips.

According to the new survey, conducted by Talker Research among 2,000 U.S. drivers and pet owners, about three in four (73%) said they are more likely to take a road trip than fly, specifically so they can bring their pet along. As the holidays approach, more than two-thirds (68%) said their pet will affect their travel plans this year, and nearly half (45%) have turned down travel opportunities that couldn't accommodate their pet.

Christina Valente, Love Promise Community Commitment Manager at Subaru of America, Inc.: "Holidays are meant for spending time with family, including our pets, so it's no surprise that as people take the time to visit loved ones near and far, pets are factored into the planning. We've always known that animals hold a special place in the hearts and homes of the Subaru community, and this research shows that same connection is shared by pet parents across the country."

Holiday Plans are Going to the Dogs

Pets aren't just along for the ride this year; they're increasingly calling the shots on where to celebrate.

- Change of plans: More than one in four pet owners may change their plan because of their pet, whether that means hosting instead of traveling (10%), shortening or simplifying a trip to care for their pet (10%), or skipping certain gatherings if their pet can't join (8%).

- Homeward bound: Among pet owners who have traveled with their animals, Gen Z and millennials are more likely to have brought their pet home for the holidays than Gen X and boomers (35% compared to 22%).

- Taking the long road: Nearly half (45%) start planning a pet-friendly long weekend at least three weeks in advance, and 24% start more than a month out.

Animal Companions Change What Matters on Four Wheels

When pets join their families on the road, companionship and comfort take priority for drivers.

- Passenger preference: When it comes to preferred driving partners, over half (51%) say they prefer traveling with a pet to traveling with a human.

- Room to roam: Plenty of room between pets, passengers, and luggage tops the list of features pet owners say matter when traveling with an animal (32%).

- In the rearview: Good visibility to see their pet follows closely behind (29%), while 27% prioritize easy-to-clean seats and cargo areas.

- Packing up: More than one in four (26%) prioritize cargo space for crates, carriers, beds, or gear. Among hybrid and EV drivers, that climbs to 35%.

Trevor Maki, National Product Training Manager at Subaru of America, Inc.: "For many pet owners, bringing their dog, cat, or other animal family members along is an essential part of holiday travel. Room to move, clear sightlines, and easy-to-clean surfaces make all the difference. We recommend making sure you have the right accessories for your vehicle and your pet so everyone stays safe and comfortable on the road."

The Next Generation of Pet Travelers

Younger generations are more likely to plan around their pets, bring them along, and consider more trips in the future.

- Road trip regulars: 75% of Gen Z and 70% of millennials have brought their pet on a road trip in the past five years, compared with 58% of Gen X and 40% of baby boomers.

- Pet-first plans: Younger pet owners are also more likely to say they plan travel around their pet, with 42% of Gen Z and millennials doing so compared with 27% of Gen X and boomers.

- Ready to roll: Among pet owners who haven't yet road-tripped with their pet, 74% of Gen Z and millennials would consider it, compared with 54% of Gen X and boomers.

During Subaru Loves Pets month in October and the annual National Make A Dog's Day on October 22, the Subaru community continues to champion pets across the country, with a special focus on helping shelter animals and underdogs find loving homes.
