AdvizorStack provides technology and operational support to help independent RIAs launch, transition, and scale, pairing hands-on consulting with a curated technology stack and partnerships with custodians including Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and Raymond James. Through this integration, AdvizorStack's network of independent RIAs will have direct, native access to SMArtX's Manager Marketplace, proposal generation, and trading and billing capabilities, all delivered within AdvizorStack's own advisor environment rather than a separate, third-party system.

"This partnership lets us meet advisors exactly where they are in their transition to independence, while enabling them with the award winning modern UMA & SMA capabilities sought after by the largest firms in the industry."

Key Benefits for AdvizorStack Advisors

Agreement accelerates adoption of Mainspring's Linear Generators at grid scale in the rapidly growing market for onsite power generation

MENLO PARK, Calif., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mainspring Energy, Inc. has signed a landmark sales agreement with American Electric Power (AEP), one of North America's largest electric utilities, to provide up to 1.6 gigawatts (GW) of Mainspring Linear Generators through 2034. As part of the agreement, AEP purchased its first tranche of the Mainspring products, at 190 megawatts (MW), for delivery beginning in 2027.

The agreement represents the largest procurement of linear generators to date, a key milestone for Mainspring as it extends operations beyond the commercial, industrial and data center markets into the investor-owned electric utility sector at gigawatt scale.

Mainspring Linear Generators deliver a unique combination of high reliability, dispatchability, efficiency, and low emissions. The products provide utilities with a rapidly deployable asset that helps maintain grid capacity, stability, and affordability for customers while supporting increased power demands from AI data centers, manufacturing, and electrification.

"We continue to pursue new, innovative solutions to help meet the rapid growth in energy demand, support economic growth and deliver long-term value for our customers," said Bill Fehrman, AEP chairman, president and chief executive officer. "Mainspring's linear generators can provide additional capacity quickly and efficiently, allowing us to better support growing energy needs."

"American Electric Power is demonstrating strategic leadership in navigating speed-to-power requirements," said Tom Linebarger, CEO of Mainspring Energy. "This agreement highlights the high value that linear generators bring to AEP and its customers—delivering affordable, reliable, and dispatchable power that works."

Mainspring Energy manufactures and delivers fuel-flexible, low-emissions local power solutions that rapidly add new capacity and deliver reliable, affordable, and sustainable electric power. Suvoda makes Sofia AI assistant available for clinical trials to drive faster answers and action

Key Takeaways

- Clinical trials require guard railed AI that's purpose built for the regulated industry that has high human stakes and required audit trails.

- Sofia helps make complex, fast-moving trial data more accessible to study teams who manage large volumes of time-sensitive work.

- Study teams can get faster answers and take confident action. Sofia goes beyond information retrieval and can execute authorized system actions on behalf of busy users while maintaining the permissions and audit trails required in clinical trials.

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Suvoda, a global clinical trial technology company, today announced that Sofia, its AI assistant on the Suvoda Platform, is ready for all new clinical trials using Suvoda RTSM/IRT or Suvoda eCOA. Sofia gives sponsors, CROs, and sites faster access to trial data and the ability to act on it—through AI built for regulated clinical research.

"Sofia handles the routine operational work so that sponsors, CROs, and sites can focus on the decisions that require their judgment," said E.K. Koh, Chief Product Officer, Suvoda. "We built it with the rigor clinical trials demand because in this environment there is no room for a wrong answer."

Clinical trial teams manage high volumes of time-sensitive work. They track drug inventory, review shipment details, monitor patient visit schedules, and manage questionnaire compliance across global sites. Checking those data streams can pull attention away from patients and judgment-intensive decisions. Sofia is designed to change that equation. The goal is to make complex, fast-moving trial data more accessible so teams can focus their attention where human expertise matters most.

Sofia launched first with early adopter companies that helped shape it before today's expansion to all new Suvoda RTSM/IRT and eCOA trials.

"As an early adopter, we were impressed by how quickly our teams incorporated Sofia into their daily workflow," said Dawn Sorenson, Director, IRT Center of Excellence, Daiichi Sankyo. "The platform's ability to summarize documentation and answer operational questions makes information more accessible and reduces the time spent navigating systems or pulling reports. Tasks that once required multiple steps can now be addressed through a simple conversation, creating meaningful efficiency gains across study operations."

Built differently than general-purpose AI

Some AI tools apply a large language model to a problem and hope the output is accurate. Sofia is built differently. Conversational AI maps each question's intent to Suvoda's validated knowledge space, where subject matter experts have translated expert guidance into validated skills. Those skills execute against live study data within a governed framework that protects the study blind and creates the audit trail clinical trials require. Today, Sofia supports more than 40 topics and is expanding continuously.

From information to action

Sofia does not stop with just answering questions. For authorized users, Sofia can execute system actions on their behalf in a single conversation. Before acting, Sofia summarizes what it will do and asks for confirmation. Every action is attributed to the requesting user, governed by existing roles and permissions, and captured in a full audit trail.

Sofia recently received the PM360 Innovation Award in the Artificial Intelligence category, reflecting the pragmatic yet innovative approach Suvoda took to create Sofia. Early adopters were instrumental to creating a system that really works for what study teams need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does Sofia handle data privacy and security?

A: Sofia operates with a zero-data retention policy, never uses customer data to train public models, and scopes every user's access to exactly what they are already authorized to see within the Suvoda Platform.

Q: How is Sofia different from a general chatbot?

A: Sofia is a purpose-built, deterministic AI assistant that executes Suvoda-authored expert instructions against live clinical trial data within a governed framework, and it can also take authorized system actions on a user's behalf after obtaining confirmation from the user.

Q: What languages does Sofia support?

A: Sofia responds in the language of the question, supporting global sponsor, CRO, and site teams operating across time zones and regions.

Aatmunn Secures Up to $8 Million Growth Investment from Memento Growth Partners to Scale SPANR

Funding accelerates sales, marketing and R&D for SPANR, the intelligence layer for industrial operations

LIVONIA, Mich., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Aatmunn, the industrial intelligence company behind the SPANR platform, today announced a growth investment of up to $8 million from Santa Monica-based Memento Growth Partners (MGP), with participation from existing investors. The funding will expand Aatmunn's sales and marketing organization and accelerate SPANR R&D, including AI integration.

SPANR is a unified data layer for the industrial frontline. It connects devices from different manufacturers, normalizes their data and applies AI-powered insight so teams can act in real time across use cases such as worker safety, gas detection, asset tracking and inspections, with more added quickly. SOC 2 Type II audited, SPANR is used by more than 300 enterprises across the United States, Canada and Europe and trusted by safety teams protecting more than 80,000 workers.

"Industrial companies are sitting on more data than ever, spread across devices, systems and sites that were never designed to talk to each other," said Praveer Kumar, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aatmunn. "SPANR turns that fragmentation into one live picture of people, assets and risk, and then helps teams decide and act. MGP understands that this layer is mission-critical, and their partnership gives us the fuel to put SPANR in front of far more of the world's frontline operations."

"Legacy industrial environments are where AI can deliver some of its most tangible value, and also where it is hardest to deploy," said Kareem El Sawy, Founder & Managing Partner at Memento Growth Partners. "Aatmunn has done the difficult work: a decade of field experience, multi-OEM device integrations, an audit-grade system of record and a growing base of blue-chip customers. We see SPANR as the intelligence layer industrial enterprises will standardize on, and we are proud to back the team as it scales."

Aatmunn's customers include Fortune 500 leaders in energy, aerospace, logistics, construction and advanced manufacturing. Its partnership with a global supply chain leader, where SPANR powers the partner's Connected Safety business, is now expanding into equipment rental.

For OEMs, SPANR is a white-label platform: one industrial hardware OEM recently launched two product lines on SPANR, compressing a three-year software roadmap into five and a half months. Its fixed-scope Audit-in-a-Box and Inspection-in-a-Box programs put SPANR live on a customer's own operations within weeks.

Peak, Joint Ventures, and Physical Therapy U Stand Together as Highbar Practices

Each keeps its name on the door. All four share one purpose and one standard of care.

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Highbar Physical Therapy has introduced Joint Ventures Physical Therapy (Greater Boston), Peak Physical Therapy (Greater South Shore), and Physical Therapy U (Southeastern Massachusetts and South Coast) as Highbar Practices. With Highbar Physical Therapy in Rhode Island and Southeastern and Central Massachusetts, they serve patients at 57 locations.

Peak joined Highbar in 2024, and Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy U followed in 2025. Highbar affiliates only with practices that share its culture, and it integrated each one people first, not brand first.

That is why the sign on the door stays. Each practice keeps its name, its colors, and the trust it has earned locally. Behind the sign, the purpose, mission, vision and standard of care are the same in every location.

"Integration has always been about people, not logos," said Michelle Collie, PT, DPT, MS, CEO of Highbar Physical Therapy. "These practices earned their names in their communities, and those names stay. What every clinician gains is a teaching practice that invests in their growth."

Clinicians at Peak, JVPT, and Physical Therapy U share access to mentorship, continuing education, residency programs, and a path from clinician to faculty or clinic director to regional leader across the Highbar Practices.

Highbar is hiring across all four practices at highbarhealth.com/careers.

Frequently asked questions

Are Joint Ventures Physical Therapy, Peak Physical Therapy, and Physical Therapy U part of Highbar? Yes. Each is a Highbar Practice, affiliated with Highbar Physical Therapy and sharing its purpose, mission, vision and standard of care.

Did this clinic change ownership? Yes. Peak joined Highbar in 2024, and Joint Ventures Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy U in 2025. The name on the door and the brand colors stay the same.

About Highbar Physical Therapy

Highbar Physical Therapy is raising the bar in physical therapy, built by physical therapists, for physical therapists. As a teaching practice, Highbar invests in clinician development and innovation in how care is delivered. AppWork Acquires Paraspot AI, Expanding into AI Vision-Powered Inspections
Image File
Original HTML

RAMSEY, N.J., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AppWork, the maintenance operations and risk management platform built for multifamily property operators, has acquired Paraspot AI, the industry's first ever video-based AI inspection platform.

Paraspot's technology is the first in the industry to guide both residents and on-site teams through an inspection using AI that can see and understand what it sees and hears. It can automatically detect damage like cracks, stains, broken and missing items, through its video and voice intelligence models.

At move-out, the system pulls up the unit's original move-in inspection and lines it up side by side, so it can detect what changed. The result is a complete inspection report with time-stamped photos, clear descriptions, and estimated repair costs. That level of detail gives operators the documentation to back up security deposit charges, so residents are only billed for damage they're responsible for.

Paraspot AI brings proven experience to AppWork trained on millions of data points from thousands of multifamily, single-family, and student housing inspections. This massive dataset makes AppWork even more comprehensive and precise, giving property managers a reliable tool they can trust from day one. Some Paraspot clients have already shifted their entire inspection and security deposit process to a centralized accounting team, freeing site staff to focus on other priorities.

AppWork plans to rebuild Paraspot's technology directly into its own system and architecture, with a release planned later this year. That will bring video based AI-guided inspections fully into the AppWork platform property teams use daily.

"We believe visual intelligence is going to be central to how multifamily operates moving forward, not just for inspections, but for due diligence, security, inventory management, asset tracking, vendor work verification, and even marketing," said Sean Landsberg, CEO of AppWork. "When I first saw Paraspot, I thought it was a gimmick, that AI wasn't advanced enough to trust with something like this. I was wrong, and this acquisition is us betting on how far that trust can go."

Paraspot's founders worked closely with AppWork following the acquisition to support the transition of the company, its customers, and technology. Yakir Saadia, co-founder and CEO of Paraspot, will continue working alongside AppWork as the technology is integrated into the AppWork platform as its new head of computer vision. "For the last five years we've been pushing what's possible, building the technology that helped define what AI-powered property inspections can be," said Saadia. "Joining AppWork means that work can now become part of a broader platform property teams already rely on every day." Nathan Herz, co-founder and COO of Paraspot, added: "Building Paraspot from an idea into a technology used across thousands of properties in the U.S. and Europe has been an incredible journey, We saw early that advances in computer vision and AI could fundamentally change how physical assets are inspected and managed, and we built a product and business around that conviction. I'm proud of the company we built, the customers and partners who believed in us, and the outcome we achieved. With the transition now complete, I'm excited to take everything I've learned building, scaling, and ultimately selling Paraspot into what comes next."

The acquisition adds improved inspection technology to a platform that already handles the rest of the maintenance workflow, from Work Orders through unit turns and compliance documentation. It also positions AppWork at the forefront of compliance standards, satisfying state requirements like California's AB 2801, which sets new documentation standards for inspections, a direction more states are expected to follow. Inspection data will flow directly into features property teams already use, including the Make Ready Board, so inspections will connect to the workflow instead of sitting apart from it. AppWork looks forward to sharing more on how the technology will be implemented into the software in the coming months.

Human Development Fund Partners with Sunday Salmon to Restore and Expand Meal Deliveries in Castle Rock, Colorado

HDF funding returns Wednesday Wheels to weekly service. Deliveries rise to 210 meals a week, and 30 more people come off the waiting list.

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Human Development Fund (HDF) is partnering with Sunday Salmon, a nonprofit restaurant in Castle Rock, Colorado. HDF will fully fund the restaurant's Wednesday Wheels meal delivery program for the next two months.

Wednesday Wheels brings organic, allergy friendly meals to seniors on limited incomes, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and families facing food insecurity. As demand grew, so did costs. Sunday Salmon had to cut deliveries to every other week, and its waiting list climbed to 80 people.

With HDF's commitment, weekly deliveries have resumed and expanded:

- 210 meals delivered weekly, up from approximately 180

- 30 additional individuals served from the waiting list

- Waiting list reduced from 80 to 50

- Two months of full program funding

"Humanitarian service begins with recognizing the dignity and needs of every individual, whether they live thousands of miles away or right here in our own communities," said Abdirahman Kariye, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Human Development Fund. "When we learned that seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families in Castle Rock were at risk of losing consistent, nutritious meals, we acted. We are proud to partner with Sunday Salmon to restore these services and reach more of our neighbors."

Founded by Mary Grothe, Sunday Salmon opened in January 2025, served nearly 20,000 free meals in its first year, and now provides approximately 1,000 meals weekly across its community dinners, school meals, and delivery programs.

In 2025, HDF served more than 3.5 million people and provided more than 1 million hot meals across its international programs. The Sunday Salmon partnership brings that work to communities in the United States.

Herbert Ames, Managing Director at EDENS and Southeast regional lead, added, "Our partnership with RangeWater and NSKRE marks an important milestone in the redevelopment of Lulah Hills, introducing an additional high-quality residential offering and bringing us closer to realizing our vision for a vibrant and connected mixed-use community."

Ellory House will be located directly along Lulah Hills' main street, Lulah Avenue, and across from the development's largest green space, Lemon Park, placing residents at the center of the destination's retail, dining and gathering spaces. The project will be part of Lulah Hills' broader development plan, which includes 320,000 square feet of grocery-anchored, high-end retail with for-sale and rental housing oriented around a walkable Main Street.

Lulah Hills is positioned within Atlanta's established "Eds & Meds" corridor, anchored by major educational, medical and research institutions including Emory University, Emory University Hospital, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory Decatur Hospital, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Veterans Affairs Hospital. The development also addresses a growing demand for the convenience and connectivity of an urban lifestyle within an established suburban market.

The retail component of the property will further enhance the residential experience, with EDENS constructing a curated mix of local and regional restaurants and businesses, a Publix, and national retail brands.

This development represents RangeWater's first development deal with NSKRE and the 31st in the Atlanta market and is co-sponsored by EDENS.
