SINGAPORE – September 03, 2026 -- Travelers are increasingly building vacations around physical activity, with Trip.com Group reporting a nearly 40% increase in active travel booking GMV over the past year.
Bookings for active experiences are doubling in several markets
South Korea saw bookings rise 150%, Singapore climbed 104%, and Thailand more than tripled with 200% growth. Germany posted the sharpest European increase at over 600%, while the United Kingdom grew by more than 100%.
