Threat Assessment and Arlo Summary Provide Greater Insight and Proactive Protection, Strengthening Arlo Secure Early Warning System's Comprehensive Capabilities

CARLSBAD, Calif., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Arlo Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: ARLO), a leading provider of smart home security services, today announced Arlo Secure 7, the latest evolution of its AI-powered smart security service. Arlo Secure 7 introduces two new AI-powered features – Threat Assessment and Arlo Summary – alongside user experience improvements and a new 24/7 video recording plan. Together with the Arlo Secure Early Warning System's existing AI-powered detection and intelligence capabilities, these updates give users greater context, awareness and control over their home security.

Arlo Summary provides an easy-to-understand recap of important activity from the past 24 hours, while Threat Assessment identifies urgent, high-risk situations — such as break-ins, fire, armed threats, or theft— and automatically initiates the appropriate response based on the event. From active deterrence by turning on the camera's siren or spotlight, to autonomously contacting a live Safety Agent, Threat Assessment ensures action within seconds.

"We saw an industry-wide need for sharper insights, faster awareness, and proactive escalation to reduce response time when consumers need it most," said Matthew McRae, Chief Executive Officer at Arlo. "With the addition of Threat Assessment, the Arlo Secure Early Warning System is more intuitive and actionable than ever before, delivering a smarter, safer home security experience for the millions who rely on Arlo for protection."

New Arlo Secure 7 Features

The following new features will roll out to Arlo Secure Early Warning System customers over the next month:

- Threat Assessment1: Threat Assessment introduces industry-leading intelligence to identify events that have a potential threat versus everyday activity and transforms Arlo cameras into a system that takes proactive action. Based on the severity of the event, Arlo automatically triggers a response matched to the threat, alerting the user immediately and, when appropriate, escalating to a professional monitoring center for emergency dispatch. Real-time updates keep users informed as the situation unfolds, with critical push notifications that will break through Mute and do-not-disturb settings to ensure the appropriate level of attention.

- Arlo Summary: Available on demand, Arlo Summary generates a short recap of video recordings from the last 24 hours. It filters out routine or insignificant events and delivers a plain-language story at the top of the Arlo Feed so users can quickly catch up on what matters most without watching every clip.

New Arlo Ultra Secure Plan with 24/7 Recording

With this latest release, Arlo also introduces a new plan option for consumers and small businesses seeking continuous video recording capabilities. The Arlo Ultra Secure Plan delivers 24/7 recording for up to three cameras (support for unlimited cameras coming soon), with recordings kept for 30 days.

Three Arlo Secure Early Warning System plans are available now — Smart Aware, Smart Secure, and Ultra Secure. A one-month trial of Arlo Secure is included with the purchase of select Arlo products. After the trial, premium features require a paid subscription.

Key Benefits of Arlo Secure Early Warning System

Arlo cameras capture the moments that matter, and the Arlo Secure Early Warning System helps make sense of them. With an Arlo Secure Early Warning System plan, you can:

- Know who's there and who shouldn't be: Get alerts when a person, vehicle, animal or package is detected with smart motion detection.

- Know it's your family, not a threat2: Know exactly who's on your property with alerts identifying names of familiar faces and familiar vehicles. Feel safer knowing family and friends have arrived home safely, or take action when strangers approach your front door.

- Keep an eye on important deliveries: Receive alerts when your Arlo camera or doorbell sees a package being picked up or dropped off.

- Spot danger before it spreads3: Lifesaving, AI-powered notifications alert you when a flame is detected, so you can prevent the spread of fire.

- Listen for critical sounds: Receive notifications that tell you when a scream, gunshot, bark, glass break, or Smoke/CO alarm is detected, so you can take action in real time.

- Create personalized alerts: Create custom, real-time detections for things that matter to you, like when the garage door is left open.

- Quickly understand what's happening: Read concise, accurate event captions of your camera's footage for an at-a-glance description of the clip.

- Locate and review critical moments: Quickly locate and review critical moments in your video history by searching for specific keywords, descriptions, or time ranges, eliminating the need to manually sift through your video library.

New Luth Research Study: AI Has Not Replaced the Patient Journey, It Has Reconfigured It

Luth Research study finds a new class of "hybrid researchers" who use AI to start their health search but return to trusted health information sites to make care decisions

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Luth Research, a leader in consumer behavior and digital tracking research, today released findings from its AI Patient Journey Study. The study combined digital tracking of more than 1,500 consumers and a survey of over 500 patients to map how people move between AI tools, search engines, and health information sites. The headline finding: AI is not replacing how patients research their health, it is adding a new step to it. Roughly 80 percent of patients who use AI for health information use it alongside other sources, giving rise to a group Luth calls "hybrid researchers." Health information sites are their top companion source, used by 6 in 10 AI users.

The research shows a division of labor. Patients turn to AI first for speed and plain-language answers: 47 percent use it to explore a doctor's explanation more deeply, and 44 percent say asking AI is easier than asking their physician. But when preparing for an appointment or making a treatment decision, reliance shifts to established health sites trusted for clinical accuracy. That shift grows with experience: hybrid researchers spend three times longer researching chronic conditions than AI-only users, and patients diagnosed for 11 or more years are 27 percent more likely to be hybrid researchers.

"What surprised us most is that AI is not pulling patients away from trusted health sources, it is sending them there better informed," said Janeen Hazel, SEVP, Client Solutions at Luth Research. "Patients lean on AI for speed, then turn to trusted sources to validate their findings before acting. The takeaway for the health information space is not to compete with AI, but to be the trusted destination AI users come to next."

About the study: Luth passively tracked 1,538 consumers and surveyed 537 patients, all adults 18+ who used AI for health information in the prior year. Fieldwork completed in 2026.

Alps Dx Accelerates Growth Ahead of SOFT-TIAFT 2026 with New Commercial Leadership, Headquarters, and Expanded Operations

Appointment of diagnostics industry veteran Pam Lacock as vice president of sales and growing manufacturing capabilities reflect continued momentum as Alps Dx advances its connected approach to oral fluid testing

RICHMOND, Va., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Ahead of the SOFT–TIAFT 2026 Joint Meeting this month, Alps Dx today announced the expansion of its commercial leadership and operations, reflecting continued momentum as the company builds the people, infrastructure, and capabilities behind its connected approach to modernizing oral fluid testing workflows.

The company has appointed diagnostics industry veteran Pam Lacock as vice president of sales and opened a new headquarters and initial manufacturing facility in Richmond, Virginia. Together, these investments represent the next phase of growth for Alps Dx as it builds the scientific, operational, and commercial capabilities needed to advance connected technologies across the oral fluid testing continuum.

"Building Alps Dx has always been about more than developing individual products. We are building the team, infrastructure, and capabilities needed to address workflow challenges across the oral fluid testing continuum," said Ali Safavi, president, CEO and co-founder of Alps Dx. "The addition of Pam to our leadership team, together with the expansion of our operations, gives us an even stronger foundation as we move from development toward broader commercialization."

Lacock brings more than 26 years of diagnostics and healthcare sales and business development experience to Alps Dx, including extensive experience with laboratory customers, health systems, large physician groups, drug monitoring, substance use disorder testing and strategic accounts. Before joining Alps Dx, she spent more than three years as vice president of business development at CompuNet Clinical Laboratories, where she oversaw sales, marketing and business development and helped grow the organization's outreach business by 40%. Prior to CompuNet, Lacock spent 14 years with Quest Diagnostics in roles spanning drug monitoring, health plans and strategic accounts. Earlier in her career, she held sales roles with Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics and Bayer HealthCare Diagnostics across laboratory automation, chemistry, immunoassay and hematology. She has also received multiple President's Club and other sales performance awards throughout her career.

As vice president of sales, Lacock will lead commercial strategy and customer development as Alps Dx expands engagement with laboratories and other organizations across the oral fluid testing continuum.

The leadership appointment comes as Alps Dx expands its physical footprint and operational capabilities. The company's new 2,030-square-foot headquarters at 1519 Summit Avenue in Richmond will serve as its operational headquarters and initial manufacturing hub, supporting product development, systems integration, workflow testing, assembly activities, and commercial growth.

The new facility is part of a broader strategy to build the infrastructure needed to support Alps Dx as its portfolio and commercial activities grow. The company is also evaluating opportunities to expand its research, development, and manufacturing capabilities as it advances additional technologies across the oral fluid testing continuum.

The expansion builds on a year of continued momentum for Alps Dx. Earlier this year, the company introduced Alps Dx® Atelier™ at SLAS 2026 in collaboration with Hamilton Company. Atelier was developed to help automate and standardize the preanalytical stage of oral fluid testing workflows.

Alps Dx is developing a broader portfolio of purpose-built instruments, consumables, workflow software, and applications designed to connect and modernize different stages of the oral fluid testing continuum. The company's approach spans collection, preparation, automation, and workflow connectivity, with the goal of creating more accessible, connected, and scalable oral fluid workflows.

"For years, oral fluid testing has offered enormous potential, but many workflows have remained manual and difficult to scale efficiently," said Les Edinboro, PhD, co-founder and chief scientific officer of Alps Dx. "As we grow, we are building the scientific and operational capabilities needed to continue developing technologies that improve workflow connectivity, operational continuity, and scalability across the oral fluid testing continuum."

Members of the Alps Dx team will attend the SOFT–TIAFT 2026 Joint Meeting, September 19–24 at the Hilton Chicago, joining forensic toxicologists, laboratory leaders, researchers, and industry partners from around the world. The meeting brings together the Society of Forensic Toxicologists and The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists for a rare joint gathering of the domestic and international forensic toxicology communities.

About Alps Dx

Alps Dx develops automated and connected technologies that modernize oral fluid workflows across laboratories, workplaces, and emerging decentralized collection environments. The company's portfolio includes purpose-built instruments, consumables, workflow software, and applications designed to improve operational continuity, scalability and workflow efficiency across the oral fluid testing continuum. Alps Dx is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia.

DanAds names Michael Gelb SVP, Growth & Product

NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- DanAds, the global SaaS company that enables publishers and media owners to offer intuitive, automated self-service advertising powered by AI and machine learning, today announced the promotion of Michael Gelb to Senior Vice President, Growth & Product. In this newly created role, Gelb will own DanAds' product roadmap and AI strategy while leading growth across the company's enterprise accounts, bringing commercial and product leadership together under a single function.

Gelb joined DanAds in New York as a Senior Account Manager and went on to lead the company's account management organization as Head of Account Management, working with some of the world's largest media companies to grow their advertising revenue through the DanAds platform. Over the past year he has increasingly shaped the product side of the business, leading enterprise sales engineering and developing solutions for DanAds' order management, RFP-ingestion, and agentic advertising initiatives.

"Michael has spent four years as close to our clients as anyone in the company, and somewhere along the way he became the person who could also build what they were asking for," said Peo Persson, Chief Commercial Officer at DanAds. "That combination is rare, and it is exactly what this next phase needs. Our roadmap has to be driven by what publishers actually need, and Michael has been proving for a long time that he knows the difference. Putting growth and product under one leader is how we make sure what we sell and what we build are the same thing."

"The most interesting problems in this business sit in the gap between what the market is asking for and what platform can deliver, and this role puts me right on top of that gap," said Gelb. "I get to keep working directly with our clients while owning the roadmap and the AI strategy that will define the next generation of our platform. We are building the tools that let publishers run more of their advertising business themselves, faster and with less manual work, and I could not be more excited to lead that."

Prior to DanAds, Gelb built a career in media spanning buying, planning, and consulting, including a role as principal consultant in media and business development advising Fortune 500 companies on offline and digital campaign optimization. He has also held positions at IBM and Ebiquity.

The appointment comes as DanAds continues to expand its platform and AI capabilities, with teams across Stockholm, New York, London and Amsterdam and more than 200 people worldwide.

NameSilo Technologies' Reach Systems Expands Operations Following Strong Growth in Bookings*

CSE: URL / OTC: URLOF

Reach Systems' Year-to-Date Bookings* Increase 108%

VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- NameSilo Technologies Corp. (CSE: URL) (OTCQB: URLOF) (the "Company"), is pleased to provide an operational update on its wholly owned subsidiary, Reach Systems Inc. ("Reach"), a designer and manufacturer of specialized marine technology and subsea equipment.

Reach continues to experience strong demand across its marine technology product portfolio. Year-to-date bookings* have reached approximately $2.2 million, compared with approximately $1.06 million during the same period last year, representing an increase of approximately 108%.

To support its growing order book and future production requirements, Reach is expanding its operating space from 3,559 square feet to 8,031 square feet, effective October 1. The expansion will more than double the company's existing footprint and provide additional manufacturing, assembly and testing capacity to accommodate future growth.

Reach has also expanded its team significantly since being acquired by NameSilo. At the February 13, 2026 closing date of the transaction, Reach employed 17 people. Its workforce has since grown to 24 employees, an increase of approximately 41%.

"Reach has made excellent progress since joining NameSilo," said Paul Andreola, Chief Executive Officer of NameSilo Technologies. "Bookings have more than doubled compared with the same period last year, the team has grown substantially, and the expansion of our operating space provides the additional capacity needed to support the company's growing opportunity pipeline. Our investment in Reach is beginning to bear fruit, and we remain encouraged by its long-term growth prospects."

Reach is also seeing increasing activity in products supporting hydrophone-array systems used in underwater acoustic sensing and monitoring applications. The company recently shipped a newly developed, first-of-its-kind winch system valued at approximately US$105,000 to a customer in Europe and expects to ship a second system to the United Kingdom shortly.

Reach also recently delivered three smaller winch systems to Sensor Technology Ltd. in Canada for use with its hydrophone-array solutions. One of these systems was successfully demonstrated at REPMUS in Portugal, a major international exercise focused on maritime unmanned systems and related technologies.

Based on current customer discussions, Reach anticipates receiving additional orders for its hydrophone-array equipment from customers in Europe and the United States. There can be no assurance, however, that these potential orders will be received or, if received, what their timing or value may be.

"The growth we are seeing reflects the strength of Reach's engineering team and its ability to develop specialized products for demanding marine applications," added Paul Andreola, CEO of NameSilo. "The successful deployment of our equipment at REPMUS provides valuable real-world validation and further demonstrates Reach's potential within the growing market for underwater sensing and unmanned maritime systems."

The Company also announces that it has granted 50,000 options to an officer of the Company. The options are exercisable at $1.42 per share for a period of five years from the date of issue.

Little Diggers, the Nation's Premier Indoor Sandbox Playspace, Expands to 50+ Signed Franchise Locations Nationwide
Image File

The construction-themed playspace, founded to counter childhood overstimulation with slow, hands-on play, has served more than 100,000 guests since 2023 and is rapidly scaling its franchise network across the U.S.

DUBLIN, Ohio, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Little Diggers, the premier construction-themed indoor sandbox playspace for kids seven and under, today announced continued rapid growth of its franchise network, now totaling more than 50 signed franchise locations across the United States, alongside six corporate-owned stores, with additional locations opening later this year.

Founded in Dublin, Ohio in 2023 by Zach and Hannah Bowers, Little Diggers offers 1,200 square feet of sandbox space filled with more than 200 toys, trucks, and excavators, including the brand's custom-designed Sand Stacker. Since opening, the company has served more than 100,000 kids and built a following of more than 130,000 across social media platforms.

"There's something special about getting lost in playtime. And for our kids, it's never taken more than trucks and a pile of dirt (or sand)," said Founder Zach Bowers. "We created Little Diggers for children to enjoy an immersive, hands-on play experience that excites both their senses and imagination."

Little Diggers is built on a simple premise: Childhood overstimulation isn't a kid problem, it's an environment problem, one that's often bright, loud, and crowded. The company's answer is something both simple and complex: sand, paired with an environment designed to help kids slow down and focus.

Zach, a former venture capital-backed fintech CTO, applied lean startup principles from the tech world to scale Little Diggers' brick-and-mortar growth. Outside of the business, he is a father who believes in giving kids the opportunity for hands-on play in an increasingly digital world.

The company sources sand from the Bahamas that is silica-free, non-toxic, and bio-renewable, and offers coffee, including nitro cold and hot brew options, for visiting parents.

Since launching its franchising arm in 2025, Little Diggers has received thousands of franchise inquiries from all 50 states and more than 85 countries. The company currently has more than 50 signed franchises, with locations open or in development across Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. The company also plans to expand into California, with details to be announced.

Little Diggers has collaborated with Handyman Hal, Sherri Dusty Rinker, and Paramount around the recent release of Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie.

Little Diggers is expanding rapidly across the U.S. with a bigger mission in mind: If hands-on, slow and focused play can help raise problem solvers, thinkers, innovators, and world changers, the company considers that the ultimate measure of success.

Original HTML

Multidisciplinary group brings expertise across medicine, neuroscience, healthcare technology, business, and communications to support the company's mission to make balance easier to measure and track.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- With Falls Prevention Awareness Week approaching Sept. 21–25, UpRight Science today announced the advisory board supporting its work to establish balance as an essential measure of health and expand the usage of its FDA-cleared balance software.

The announcement comes as the national spotlight turns toward one of the most serious threats to healthy aging. Falls are the leading cause of injury among Americans ages 65 and older, with more than 14 million older adults, or roughly one in four, reporting a fall each year. UpRight Science believes better visibility into balance can help make this critical aspect of health easier to understand, measure, and track over time.

"Advisory boards are often assembled around credentials. What is rare here is the degree of personal conviction behind those credentials," said Terry Chabrowe, CEO of UpRight Science. "Every member of this group understands how profoundly mobility and balance can affect a person's health and independence, and our mission to improve and extend lives resonates deeply with each of them. That shared passion, combined with an extraordinary range of expertise, will be invaluable as we work to change the way balance is understood and measured."

The UpRight Science Advisory Board includes:

- Joseph Shurman, MD, Advisory Board Chair. Dr. Shurman is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine physician whose career has spanned clinical practice, medical leadership, research, and education. He is a former Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology and former Chair of Pain Management at Scripps Memorial Hospital, and briefly served as Co-Chair of Palliative Care. He also served as Medical Director of Clinical Research for the Anesthesia Medical Service Group (270 physicians), which covered all major hospitals in San Diego, and was formerly Chair of the pain management group. His major focus is risk management, particularly through his nationally recognized "Share the Risk" model, which was featured in a front-cover article and became recognized nationally at Scripps. The model was supported by the DEA, and Dr. Shurman also lectured on the model at a Department of Justice CME meeting.

- Frederick "Ted" Carrick, DC, PhD, MS-HPEd. Dr. Carrick is Professor of Neurology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, Adjunct Professor at the MGH Institute of Health Professions and Professor of Neurology, and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Mental Health Research in association with the University of Cambridge. His research and clinical work have encompassed vestibular rehabilitation, movement disorders, traumatic brain injury, concussion, and other neurological conditions, bringing important expertise in the complex systems that enable balance and human movement.

- Crystal Gurin. Gurin is a media, marketing, and digital business executive with more than three decades of experience building companies and new market categories. A longtime publisher of eMarketer and co-founder of pioneering digital advertising company Cybereps, she brings UpRight extensive experience translating emerging technologies and ideas into concepts that businesses and consumers can understand and adopt.

- Angela Murray, RN, BScN, MN. Murray is a healthcare executive and strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience spanning healthcare strategy, market access, and health economics. During her tenure with Baxter and Hillrom, she led the global Market Access and Health Economics and Outcomes Research function, helping translate clinical and economic evidence into strategies supporting reimbursement, funding, and adoption of healthcare technologies across global markets. She brings UpRight a systems-level perspective on what it takes to move a promising health innovation from clinical value to meaningful adoption and impact.

- Isaac Treitel. Treitel is the co-founder and Managing Partner of MedPro Investors and director of TriState Ventures, with more than 20 years of experience investing in and advising early-stage life science and technology companies. His work evaluating emerging technologies and helping young companies navigate financial and operational growth gives UpRight an experienced perspective on building and scaling a new category of health technology.

"Balance is a simple concept, but there is nothing simple about the work required to establish it as an essential biomarker," said Sanjeev Sharma, MD, Chief Medical Officer of UpRight Science. "It takes rigorous science and the ability to translate a new measurement into something clinicians and patients can meaningfully use. That is why the diversity of voices and experience represented on this advisory board is so important. They will help us strengthen the evidence and move balance toward the place we believe it belongs in routine health assessment."

UpRight Science is advancing BALANCE: THE SIXTH VITAL SIGN™, based on the idea that balance can provide meaningful information about health and function but historically has lacked an easy, objective way to be measured outside specialized settings. The company's FDA-cleared software uses the sensors already built into smartphones to reliably measure balance and identify changes over time, extending the ability to assess balance beyond the clinic or doctor's office.

UpRight Science has also developed StayUpRight!, a free consumer app that gives anyone a simple way to check and track their balance using a smartphone. Together, the company's medical and consumer technologies are designed to make objective balance measurement more accessible and help bring greater attention to a dimension of health that has long been difficult to quantify.

About UpRight Science

UpRight Science is a medical technology company advancing BALANCE: THE SIXTH VITAL SIGN™. The FDA-cleared balance software from UpRight Science turns any smartphone into a medical device (SaMD). The company uses smartphone-based biomechanics to reliably measure balance, identify changes in balance over time, and extend patient care beyond the clinic or doctor's office.

Its free consumer app, StayUpRight!, brings a non-prescription version of the same technology to everyday users, offering a first look at what objective balance tracking makes possible. StayUpRight! is provided for general wellness purposes and is not a medical device. App users who are concerned about their balance should consult with their physician.

Lutris Pharma to Present Updated Data from Its Phase 2 Trial of LUT014 Gel for the Treatment of Patients With EGFRI-Induced Acneiform Rash at the EADV Congress

TEL AVIV, Israel, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Lutris Pharma, a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on improving the quality of life and drug adherence for patients treated with anti-cancer therapies by mitigating dermatological toxicities, today announced the presentation of updated results from its phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial of lead compound LUT014. LUT014 is a novel topical B-Raf inhibitor designed to reduce or prevent worsening of dermatological toxicities caused by anti-cancer drugs that target the MAPK pathway through paradoxical MAPK reactivation. The updated clinical data will be released in an oral presentation during a Free Communications Session at the 35th European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Congress, being held September 30 through October 3 in Vienna, Austria.

Presentation Details:

- Presentation Title: Acneiform Rash from EGFR Inhibitor Therapy: Durable, Mechanism-Directed Reduction with Topical LUT014 (B-Raf Inhibitor) in a Phase 2, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Trial

- Presenting Author: Anisha Patel, MD, professor of Dermatology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX

- Abstract ID: AS-1328

- Session Title: Free Communication 6: Pruritus/Adverse Drug Reactions

- Session Date: Friday October 2, 2026

- Presentation Time: 11:25 – 11:35 am CET

- Session Location: Hall N

About MAPK inhibitor-Induced Rash

Inhibitors of the MAP Kinase (MAPK) pathway are a class of drugs used to treat certain cancers. EGFR inhibitors are among the targeted therapies that inhibit MAPK pathway signaling. EGFR is a receptor on the surface of cells which is expressed in many normal epithelial tissues, including skin and the EGFR signaling pathway is critical in regulating growth, survival, proliferation, and differentiation of cells. B-Raf is a protein that is a key regulator of the MAPK pathway. Oncogenic EGFR constitutively signals through the MAPK pathway, leading to uncontrolled cell proliferation in various human cancers, including colorectal, lung, head and neck, urinary bladder, pancreatic and breast cancers.

EGFR inhibitors can block the EGFR signal responsible for cell growth and are increasingly being used both as primary therapy as well as in patients who have progressed on prior chemotherapy treatments. Although effective as anti-cancer therapy leading to tumor shrinkage, EGFR inhibitors lead to many adverse reactions, with the majority of patients experiencing dermatological side effects typically manifested as a papulopustular skin rash, also known as acneiform lesions, which can impact quality of life and affect adherence to therapy.

About LUT014

LUT014 is a proprietary, first-in-class, novel small molecule, topical B-Raf inhibitor designed to reduce or prevent worsening of dermatological toxicities caused by anti-cancer drugs that target the MAPK pathway through paradoxical MAPK reactivation. LUT014 is formulated as a gel and designed to be applied to the affected areas of the skin. When a MAPK inhibitor that acts upstream of B-Raf is used for cancer treatment (e.g., EGFR inhibitors and RAS inhibitors), the MAPK pathway reduces or stops signaling. This causes cell death in both the cancer cells and normal cells. While the death of cancer cells is the desired effect, the death of non-cancer cells, such as those of the skin, is not desired and leads to side effects such as acneiform rash. In cells where the MAPK is inhibited, when the B-Raf protein is also inhibited, the MAPK signaling becomes reactivated. This phenomenon is recognized as the paradoxical effect of B-Raf Inhibitors. LUT014 gel harnesses this paradoxical effect to  rescue the skin cells. Due to its overwhelmingly local penetration, LUT014's activity is restricted to the skin. To date, LUT014 has shown favorable safety and clinical benefit in a completed a phase 2 clinical trial in metastatic colorectal cancer patients with EGFR inhibitor-induced acneiform lesions.

About Lutris Pharma

Lutris Pharma is a privately owned clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company with a mission to improve the quality of life and drug adherence for patients who are being treated with certain anti-cancer drugs. Lutris Pharma's key asset is LUT014, a proprietary, first-in-class, small molecule, topical B-Raf inhibitor formulated as a gel and designed to be applied to affected areas of the skin in patients treated with certain MAPK inhibitors, such as EGFR inhibitors or RAS inhibitors, which causes most patients to experience dermatological toxicities.

1911 Gold Provides Update on Key Operational Milestones at True North
Image File
Original HTML

Operational milestones include mobilizing a new underground mining contractor and completing a series of infrastructure improvements across the underground mine, surface facilities including the new assay laboratory, clearing the path for test mining this fall, ahead of a planned 2027 production decision.

True North Operational Highlights:

- A-Shaft and Level 26 dewatering is complete and rehabilitation of the loading pocket required for ore handling, is nearing completion

- The Level 16-to-26 ore pass chute is operational, a critical step to support material handling from development and extraction of test mining stopes

- Underground development contract awarded to SCR Mining & Tunnelling ("SCR"), with crews and specialized mobile equipment mobilized to site to lead mining, mechanical, and electrical activities

- Rigid hard-duct ventilation installed in key areas of the underground mines, including Level 16, which eliminates legacy booster fans while reducing electricity requirements

- The upper and lower concrete slabs were poured for the foundation of the new surface primary crusher building

- Primary Ball Mill and new freshwater system commissioned and operational, with the freshwater pumphouse refurbishment nearing completion

- On-Site assay laboratory operational, with the initial furnace fusion test-work completed, recommissioned and ready to process grade control, geology and exploration samples

Éric Vinet, Chief Operating Officer, stated, "We have worked hard for the last several months to deliver important progress in operational capability across the operations at True North. Following the dewatering of Level 26 below the loading pocket, we have transitioned to active infrastructure commissioning, including repairs on the loading pocket, re-establishing full electrical and ventilation systems, and rehabilitating underground track systems.

"The recommissioning of the Level 16-to-26 ore pass chute in late August clears the pathway to improve development performance, and to commence skipping from underground to surface this fall, when the loading pocket is expected to be fully recommissioned. Development work is expected to improve with the completion of additional hard duct ventilation on Level 16, which will provide more efficient airflow and significantly reduce clearance time between blasting."

Other Site Developments

Crushing Circuit and Mill Repairs

Mill repairs ramped up significantly, with the flotation circuit, regrind mill, and leach tanks undergoing significant refurbishment. In preparation for installation of the new crusher circuit, the legacy jaw crusher and apron feeder structures were removed, and the concrete foundation for the new crusher building was completed. Delivery of the Westpro processing equipment is on track to be delivered by mid-November ("early-Q4").

Underground Rehabilitation, Upgrades and Development

Rehabilitation and certain upgrades were completed on Level 16, Level 26, and at various locations within the Hinge portal.

Ventilation work included:

- Rigid hard-duct ventilation systems have improved airflow in the L-13 area of the Hinge ramp, providing access for the underground exploration program targeting two (2) of the near-mine targets, San Anotonio Southeast and Shore

- Rigid hard-ducting is being installed on Level 16 to increase ventilation volume, reduce recirculation, and to eliminate the four (4) booster fans, providing approximately 300 hp of supplemental power which will support an additional diamand drill on this level. Additionally this improvement will reduce clearance time after blasting

- The team completed control walls for ventilation, electrical upgrades, and ground support in priority locations to support the full restart

Level 26 is now also accessible up to D shaft and the up ramps within the 710-711 Zone. Rock breaker and Grizzly repairs have commenced in preparation for new equipment installation expected in late September. The loading pocket rehabilitation is progressing, including the installation of structural steel on the conveyers, new pullies and bearings, and new electrical cabling and controls. Work completed on Level 26 includes, successful operation of the Level 16-to-26 ore pass, replacement of the hoist rope in both compartments, and the installation of a refurbished skip to support the commencement of shaft skipping this fall.

Dewatering in the Hinge portal slowed for a few weeks to accommodate electrical upgrades to the power distribution and piping system. Dewatering will continue to the bottom of the main ramp, expected to be reached in January 2027.

Underground Mobile Equipment

New additions to the underground mobile equipment fleet include:

- Delivery of two (2) new Epiroc ST2G scoops and one (1) refurbished Sandvik LH-203 scoop

- A scissor deck and a dedicated 1-boom jumbo to support Level 16 development work

- A 980 Loader to support material handling on surface

- Additional haulage trucks and utility vehicles are scheduled to arrive through September and October.

Next Steps

- Level 26 Electrification – Complete installation of an underground transformer, essential for power distribution to critical items such as the loading pocket, rock breaker, and all pumping systems within A-Shaft and the Level 26 main sump up to Level 16. Assess the requirements for re-powering D-Shaft and the 710-711 Zone to support near-term drilling activities

- Initiate Shaft Skipping this Fall – Following completion of the remaining loading pocket upgrades and full commissioning

- SCR Mobilization – Ongoing ramp-up in manpower in combination with equipment being mobilized to site through September and October will accelerate development rates

- Receive and Install Crusher Circuit - major Westpro crushing components are on track for delivery by early-Q4

- Hinge Ramp Dewatering – dewatering is ongoing with drilling and development work commencing in areas that are accessible

- Rehabillitation of the 007 Escapeway – Complete the rehabilitation of the 007 escapeway required for full operation within the upper portion of the Hinge ramp (007 is accessed from the upper portion of the Hinge ramp)

The Company will provide operational updates as underground activities continue to progress and major milestones are achieved.

CAUTIONARY STATEMENT REGARDING FORWARD-LOOKING STATEMENTS

This news release contains forward-looking information or forward-looking statements within the meaning of applicable securities laws (collectively, "forward-looking statements"). Often, but not always, forward-looking statements can be identified by the use of words and phrases such as "plans", "expects" or "does not expect", "is expected", "budget", "scheduled", "estimates", "forecasts", "intends", "anticipates" or "does not anticipate", or "believes", or that describe a "goal", or variations of such words and phrases, or statements that certain actions, events or results "may", "could", "would", "might" or "will" be taken, occur or be achieved.

All statements that address expectations or projections about the future, including, but not limited to, statements with respect to the ongoing development work to advance the project towards a potential production decision including, all rehabillitaiton and refurbishment projects; the mobilization of crews and equipment; test mining activities; commissioning the shaft for skipping; the installation of the new primary crusher circuit; and the mill startup and processing of material, and the timing thereof, as well as the Company's objectives, goals and future plans and strategies, are forward-looking statements.

While 1911 Gold has not made a production decision, should 1911 Gold make such a decision in the future without a feasibility study of mineral reserves, demonstrating economic and technical viability, there may be increased uncertainty of achieving any particular level of recovery of minerals or the cost of such recovery, including increased risks associated with developing a commercially mineable deposit. Historically, such projects have a much higher risk of economic and technical failure. There is no guarantee that 1911 Gold will make a production decision, and, if it does, there is no guarantee that any production will begin as anticipated or at all or that any anticipated production costs will be achieved. Failure to make a positive decision to commence production would have a material adverse impact on 1911 Gold's ability to generate revenue and cash flow to fund operations.
