Image File
Original HTML

- The MoA that targets the Regulatory Light Chain (RLC) has shown in preclinical models to improve cardiac relaxation while preserving systolic function and cardiac reserve -

- Company to host webcast to discuss these findings today at 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time -

BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Edgewise Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: EWTX), a leading clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on cardiovascular diseases, today announced that it will host an investor conference call to discuss the preclinical pharmacologic profile of EDG-7500, a first-in-class cardiac sarcomere modulator targeting the RLC. Data will be provided supporting EDG-7500's ability to improve cardiac relaxation while preserving overall systolic performance. Furthermore, early clinical observations in patients with symptomatic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) have been consistent with these preclinical data. A peer-reviewed publication describing EDG-7500's MoA will be released later today. A link to the article will be available on the Edgewise corporate website once published.

"We screened more than 7,000 pharmacologically diverse RLC candidates and selected molecules that exhibited positive lusitropic properties without systolic liabilities," said Alan Russell, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer of Edgewise Therapeutics. "EDG-7500's diastolic-biased profile has the potential to address a central pathologic driver of both symptomatic obstructive and nonobstructive HCM."

"Today's update highlights the strength of our cardiovascular pipeline and the momentum behind our approach to fine-tune the cardiac cycle in symptomatic heart failure," added Kevin Koch, President and Chief Executive Officer of Edgewise Therapeutics.

Webcast Event

Members of the Edgewise management team will hold a live webcast on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. ET to discuss the RLC as a unique target for symptomatic heart failure. An accompanying slide presentation will also be available. To register for the live webcast and replay, please visit the Edgewise events page.

About EDG-7500

EDG-7500 is an investigational, oral, first-in-class cardiac sarcomere modulator designed to slow early contraction velocity and improve impaired cardiac relaxation associated with symptomatic HCM. EDG-7500 is being evaluated in obstructive and nonobstructive HCM. The Company completed a 12-week Phase 2 CIRRUS-HCM trial with EDG-7500 which was generally safe and well tolerated and showing no clinically significant changes in left ventricular ejection fraction. Edgewise expects to initiate a Phase 3 trial in the fourth quarter of 2026.

About Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

HCM is the most common form of genetic heart disease, affecting approximately one in 500 people, and is associated with reduced quality of life and an elevated risk of heart failure, abnormal heart rhythms, and sudden cardiac death. Individuals with HCM can become extremely limited in their functional capacity and ability to perform the activities of daily living. Commonly experienced symptoms include breathlessness, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, tiredness, dizziness, or even fainting. These symptoms are caused by excessive contraction and thickening (hypertrophy) of the left ventricular wall of the heart. Over time, the thickened muscle becomes stiff, making it difficult for the heart to relax and fill with blood (diastolic dysfunction). There are two major forms of HCM: obstructive and nonobstructive. Despite advancements in treatment options for some patients with HCM, there remains a significant unmet need for additional therapeutic approaches for patients.

New flexible pouch packaging solution helps food service operations cut condiment prep and cleanup time by replacing squeeze bottles

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- To simplify back-of-house condiment dispensing for restaurants, Sealed Air Corporation's CRYOVAC® brand food packaging introduces ZeroPrep hand-dispensing pouches. The pre-filled pouches help food service operations save time and effort in every shift by eliminating labor-intensive preparation and cleanup of squeeze bottles and other rigid containers.

Each handheld ZeroPrep pouch features a unique easy-open seal and spout designed to dispense condiments and sauces with a squeeze. The spout reseals when not in use to prevent drips.

The pre-filled pouches are hermetically sealed until first opening and help reduce opportunities for contamination by eliminating the need to transfer condiments into bottles or other secondary containers.

"We listen closely to customers to develop solutions that address everyday challenges and create meaningful value," said Joe Lambert, Sealed Air's North America vice president of food. "ZeroPrep reflects this ongoing commitment by removing the tedious task of squeeze bottle prep and cleaning, helping restaurants improve efficiency and the employee experience while supporting food safety."

ZeroPrep further enhances food service operations by:

- Making service faster and simpler with pre-filled, ready-to-use pouches that open without tools

- Simplifying condiment and sauce delivery through one-handed operation and streamlined storage

- Reducing food waste through product yield up to 97%

- Ensuring condiment freshness and flavor consistency during every shift

The pouches are formed on the new CRYOVAC® brand ZeroPrep vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) system, which brings together two specialized CRYOVAC® films to form the patented pouch's user-friendly shape, easy-open seal, semi-rigid spout and hermetic seals. The machine produces package sizes from 8 to 16 fluid ounces at speeds of up to 80 packs per minute.

As part of Sealed Air's food and beverage packaging portfolio, CRYOVAC® brand ZeroPrep pouches help food service operators protect food quality and safety while improving efficiency and product yield in back of house. They build on the legacy of innovation and performance that CRYOVAC® brand food packaging and Liquibox® brand liquid systems bring to food service.

The new ZeroPrep pouches and VFFS system will be on display at Sealed Air booth S-2844 during PACK EXPO International 2026, taking place Oct. 18-21 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Blue Moon Announces Initial Results from Assay Campaign of Historical Drilling at Springer, Including 7.00 m of 1.28% WO₃, Receives BLM Approval to Drill on Public Land and Advances Exploration Initiatives
Image File
Original HTML

HIGHLIGHTS

1) HISTORICAL CORE RE-ASSAY PROGRAM

The Company has undertaken a thorough re-examination and re-assay campaign of previously drilled core located on the property. To date, approximately 64% of the 18,000 meters of historical core has been relogged, including 18% of the historical meterage received as final assay results. Some of the best results include:

-

- Surface drillhole NM-13 confirmed a 7.00 m interval grading 1.28% WO₃ and 0.01% Mo from 160 m;

- Surface drillhole NM-44 confirmed a 24.25 m (13.72 m true width) interval grading 0.22% WO₃ and 0.03% Mo from 249 m, including 9.55 m (5.40 m true width) grading 0.53% WO₃ and 0.12% Mo; and

- Underground drillhole SU-27 confirmed an 8.24 m (6.34 m true width) interval grading 0.64% WO₃ and 0.01% Mo from 59 m, including 3.09 m grading 1.19% WO₃ and 0.02% Mo.

2) STOCKPILE SAMPLING UPDATE

The Company has completed a field program to sample and assay previously defined stockpiles on the property, resulting in 499 unique samples. These samples will be used to ascertain the grade and determine viability for processing the stockpiles through the Springer mill. This sampling is being combined with a LiDAR survey completed in August to estimate the tonnage of material available.

3) BLM APPROVAL OF EXPLORATION NOTICE

The Bureau of Land Management has approved the submitted Exploration Notice to perform selected works on public land. Five acres of disturbance is included in the notice, including drilling and drill roads in the southwest quadrant of the near mine area, access to private land in the northwest quadrant, and auger tailings sampling to the southeast of the main gate.

Theodore Veligrakis, VP Exploration, stated, ''The results from the historical core re-assay program are very encouraging and continue to validate the quality and scale of the mineralized system at Springer. In particular, the higher-grade intervals demonstrate the potential for meaningful grade continuity within the broader tungsten system. Combined with the ongoing geological relogging, stockpile sampling and our expanding exploration program, we are building a much stronger understanding of Springer's overall resource potential and how we can best advance and expand it.''

1) HISTORICAL DRILLING ASSAY HIGHLIGHTS

The Company has access to approximately 18,000 meters of historical diamond drill core for re-logging. The archive includes SU underground drillholes and NM surface drillholes completed by General Electric in the late 1970s and early 1980s. It also includes select holes from the 2007 campaign by Golden Predator before RC drilling was introduced. To date, 11,670 meters of historical core have been re-logged as part of the Company's ongoing validation and geological reinterpretation program. Historical sampling covered only ~5% of the available core, was limited to tungsten assays, and had no documented QA/QC procedures, despite pXRF and visual confirmation of other economic mineralization, including but not limited to copper, molybdenum, and silver.

The current sampling program shown in Figure 1 includes quarter-core sampling of previously assayed intervals as well as substantial volumes of previously untested mineralized rock. Historical mining and tungsten pricing led to selective "high-grading" of the drill core, focused mainly on the richest portions of the scheelite-bearing units, instead of a true statistical representation of the geological host of the mineralization. The expanded assay program now includes buffers around high-grade mineralization, lower-grade material, and mineralization outside the main skarn lenses, including the Granodiorite Springer Stock, a significant secondary target not previously evaluated. The historical drillhole NM-49 reaches a true depth of 880 m below surface- twice the depth of other drilling on the property.  It was originally drilled as an investigatory hole before sinking the Sutton 3 Shaft and returned favorable grades in the granodiorite. This intrusive hosts extensive quartz veining, variable molybdenite, chalcopyrite, and tungsten mineralization, along with evidence of elevated bismuth-bearing minerals. This deep hole offers a glimpse into the potential of a larger driving system at depth, warranting further follow-up and interpretation.

The following 2 tables outline the initial results of the re-assaying program and Figure 2 is a section of re-assayed results at Sutton 2.

2) STOCKPILE SAMPLING

The grab sampling program of pre-existing stockpiles was completed on September 6, 2026 (Figure 3). The purpose of this sampling is to test for grade distribution and material characteristics for all previously mined material that remains stockpiled on surface, to assess the viability of processing this previously mined material through the Springer mill. Samples were taken at approximately ten-meter intervals around the base of defined stockpiles, containing representative lithologies of the material. In total, twenty-eight stockpiles were sampled, with 499 grab samples and 79 Quality Control samples shipped to ALS Labs in Reno, NV. Assays for this resampling program remain pending.

In August, a LiDAR survey was also completed to generate accurate volume estimates for each stockpile, providing the basis for estimating tonnage. This stockpiled material is expected to form the initial mill feed in 2027.

3) BLM EXPLORATION NOTICE APPROVAL

Blue Moon's application to the United States Bureau of Land Management (BLM Exploration Notice NVNV106841534) in support of exploration activities on public lands was conditionally accepted on August 26, 2026, and fully approved on September 10, 2026, following payment of the associated reclamation bond. The approval of this application grants Blue Moon permission to conduct new exploration diamond drilling on 13 pads on public lands in support of the 67,000 m drilling campaign (Figure 4). The application also provided Blue Moon approval to conduct mechanized auger sampling of existing tailings material (see Blue Moon news release, July 7, 2026).

PRICING AND ISSUANCE OF THE ELMET GROUP CO. WARRANTS TO BLUE MOON

On September 21, 2026, as required by the binding letter agreement entered into between The Elmet Group Co. ("Elmet") and Blue Moon announced on September 14, 2026 regarding a series of strategic transactions intended to unlock the value of Blue Moon's Springer Tungsten Complex, Elmet issued to Blue Moon warrants to purchase 1,166,970 shares of Elmet common stock at an exercise price of US$21.423 per share.

SAMPLING AND QA/QC

The Springer Mine hosts historical drill core from multiple previous owners of the property, in core diameters of BQ, NQ, and HQ sizes.

The ongoing re-logging and sampling program has increased sampling coverage to approximately 44% of the available core. Final assay results from ALS Labs in Reno, Nevada, have been received for 18% of the historical core. Samples are being analyzed by ALS Geochemistry using analytical packages that include XRF analysis for WO₃, a 48-element multi-element suite, and selective fire assay for gold. Comprehensive QA/QC protocols have been implemented in accordance with CIM Best Practice Guidelines, with QA/QC samples representing approximately 12.5% of all assays, or a 1:8 ratio. These protocols support a robust dataset for future exploration targeting and resource evaluation.

The current sampling program includes quartering of previously assayed material and a large volume of previously untested, but mineralized rock. Due to the historical mining methods and tungsten prices, the drill core was "high-graded", with focus only on skarn hosted scheelite rich zones. New assaying includes buffers to high grade mineralization, lower grade material, ore hosted outside the main skarn lenses including a major secondary source not considered previously – the Granodiorite Springer Stock. This intrusive hosts significant quartz veining, variable molybdenite, chalcopyrite, and tungsten mineralization and evidence of elevated bismuth bearing minerals.

Acquisition adds leading 3D robotic perception platform, expands Cognex's served market, and

supports long-term growth diversification

NATICK, Mass. and CUPERTINO, Calif., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Cognex Corporation (NASDAQ: CGNX), the global technology leader in industrial machine vision, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire RealSense, the market leader in depth-sensing cameras and vision technology for robotic perception and Physical AI. The acquisition advances Cognex's strategy to diversify its growth engine by entering the robotic perception market, a high-growth adjacency that expands its served market opportunity.

"RealSense represents a compelling strategic expansion for Cognex into robotic perception, one of the most attractive adjacent markets in machine vision," said Matt Moschner, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cognex. "RealSense brings a leading 3D perception platform with proprietary technology, a strong developer community and a compelling value proposition for customers. Combined with Cognex's machine vision expertise and global reach, RealSense positions us to offer a full-stack visual intelligence platform, spanning industrial ID, 2D and 3D machine vision measurement to 3D depth perception and robotic navigation, built to serve the full spectrum of Physical AI."

"RealSense was built on a simple idea: robots and autonomous systems can't act intelligently in the physical world if they can't first perceive it accurately. We've called that mission the Visual Cortex of Physical AI. Joining Cognex puts that mission on an entirely new scale, giving us access to a global industrial customer base and go-to-market reach that would have taken us years to build on our own. This is a combination that makes both businesses stronger," said Nadav Orbach, Chief Executive Officer of RealSense.

Originally founded by Intel in 2014 and spun out in 2025, RealSense has established a leading position in 3D robotic perception, with applications across fixed arm perception-guided robotics, autonomous mobile robots, quadrupeds and humanoids. The acquisition expands Cognex's served market opportunity by adding exposure to a robotic perception market estimated at $600 million today and expected to grow more than 25% annually to approximately $1.6 billion by 2030. RealSense is expected to generate revenue of $80 million to $90 million in 2026, representing more than 50% growth over the prior year.

"This transaction is highly aligned with our disciplined M&A strategy," said Dennis Fehr, Chief Financial Officer of Cognex. "RealSense is expected to be strongly accretive to Cognex's growth profile. Over time, we expect the business to scale in line with Cognex's through-cycle financial framework, including attractive Adjusted EBITDA margins and strong free cash flow conversion."

Under the terms of the agreement, Cognex will acquire RealSense for approximately $500 million, financed entirely from existing cash and investments on its balance sheet. Cognex also expects to provide a three-year $56.5 million cash retention program at target for RealSense employees, subject to performance modifiers, and to grant restricted stock units valued at approximately $50 million under Cognex's existing 2023 Stock Option and Incentive Plan dependent on the grant-date share price. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

Prior to closing, RealSense will spin out its Facial Authentication product line into an independent company, including all necessary functions to continue its focused growth strategy in the biometrics market.

Evercore served as financial advisor to Cognex on the transaction.

As Patients Look for Care in More Places, Zocdoc Makes Providers Bookable Everywhere Patients Search
Image File
Original HTML

With one connection, providers can now reach patients beyond Zocdoc across a growing network of AI platforms, search engines, insurance directories and other places patients seek care.

NEW YORK, September 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Zocdoc, the healthcare access infrastructure that connects patients to great care, today announced a platform expansion that makes providers bookable beyond Zocdoc.com, across the growing number of places patients search for care. As search fragments, providers face a new challenge: keeping up with every channel where patients might be looking for them. Zocdoc is taking on that complexity, helping providers be bookable across those channels without having to manage each one themselves.

Zocdoc connects providers' real-time availability to a growing partner network of AI platforms, search engines, insurance directories, review sites and more. As Zocdoc adds partners, providers will automatically extend their reach to be bookable everywhere without having to build and manage a new connection each time.

Any provider can now join Zocdoc's network for free. There is no booking fee when patients search for a specific provider or book as an existing patient through Zocdoc. Providers pay a one-time booking fee only when Zocdoc helps a patient discover and book with them.

As patients search in more places, it's harder for providers to keep up

Patients are starting their search for care in more places than ever: from AI platforms to insurance directories, search engines to review sites, and more. According to a new national Zocdoc survey, 69% of patients who search for a new doctor check multiple places.

As more and more front doors to care emerge, practices can't realistically manage them one by one. And yet, every new place patients search is an opportunity for providers to win a patient, or a chance to lose one if they aren't discoverable or easy to schedule. And patients will pick the path of least resistance: more than 1 in 3 have switched doctors because scheduling was too difficult, while 43% would consider switching to a provider who is easier to book.

"Keeping up with every new place patients search for care is becoming an impossible task for providers. With Zocdoc, now they don't have to," said Richard Fine, Chief Business Officer at Zocdoc. "We take on that complexity so practices and health systems can spend less time managing channels and more time doing what they actually set out to do: care for patients."

One connection to be bookable everywhere patients search

Until now, connecting to Zocdoc primarily made a provider discoverable and bookable on Zocdoc.com and the app. Now, that same connection extends beyond Zocdoc, making providers instantly bookable across the company's recently announced and rapidly growing Care Access Network.

Care Access Network partners already include Amazon Health AI, Gemini, Yelp, Healthgrades, Blue Shield of California, search engines, and more. As Zocdoc continues to add partners, providers will automatically reach millions of patients in these places through their existing connection, without having to build and maintain separate integrations for each new channel.

"We've grown with Zocdoc for years. Now, as patients change how and where they look for care, Zocdoc is helping us grow with them," said Julie Gessin, Chief Operating Officer at Schweiger Dermatology Group. "For us, the mission is simple: an appointment when you need one."

Turn existing patient demand into more booked appointments

Reaching patients across the many places they search for care is only part of the equation. Practices also need to make it frictionless for patients who come directly to their websites and phone lines to easily book with them. Zocdoc's survey found that 1 in 3 patients would rather find a different provider than wait on hold for even a minute.

Zocdoc's Practice Solutions brings its real-time booking technology directly to providers' own channels, with front-office tools designed to convert more patient demand while reducing work for staff. Practice Solutions includes branded Website Scheduling, Patient Communications, Intake & Insurance Verification, and Zo, Zocdoc's AI Phone Assistant.

Practices using Zocdoc's upgraded website scheduling have already seen website bookings increase by an average of 25–30%, and advanced reporting and analytics also show practices where appointments are coming from and which channels are driving their growth.

As patients continue to start their search for care in more places, Zocdoc is inviting every provider to join and become discoverable and bookable for patients everywhere, no matter where their search begins.

I'm excited to bring my experience to the board and be part of what the team is building."

Fabiano's appointment follows the August launch of Cypherpunk Mining™, with approximately 4.2 GSol/s of hashrate deployed across the United States. Cypherpunk Mining generated 3,023.13 ZEC in mining rewards from August 18 to August 31, 2026, all of which have been added to the corporate treasury.
