Congebec Mascouche facility recognized among top leading facilities for food safety, quality and continuous improvement in the Americas

QUÉBEC CITY, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Congebec is proud to announce that its Mascouche facility was named top 3 for the BRCGS Certificated Site of the Year Award for the Americas at the 2026 BRCGS Awards in Nashville.

Chosen as one of three finalists, Congebec's Mascouche facility was recognized among leading BRCGS-certified facilities for its food safety culture, quality systems, operational discipline and commitment to continuous improvement.

Opened in 2023 on Montreal's North Shore, Mascouche is Congebec's newest construction. The industrial freezer offers more than nine million cubic feet of capacity and incorporates automation, a highly efficient thermal building envelope and a CO2 refrigeration system. It was designed to expand Congebec's food logistics capacity in Quebec and contribute to a safe, resilient food supply chain.

"Being recognized as top 3 among outstanding facilities across the Americas is an important achievement for our Mascouche team," said Carolina Téllez, Director, Quality Assurance at Congebec. "It reflects the care, rigour and accountability our employees bring to food safety every day."

The Mascouche facility achieved a BRCGS AA rating in 2024, 2025 and 2026, with zero non-conformities recorded in both the 2024 and 2026 audits. This consistent performance reflects the close collaboration among Operations, Quality Assurance, Maintenance and the employees who safeguard customers' products—both at Mascouche and across Congebec's Canadian network. Congebec is proud to uphold the highest BRCGS and SQF certification standards, including dual certification at select sites. Its Boucherville and Godin facilities have also earned BRCGS AA ratings with zero non-conformities.

The nomination was supported by customer testimonials describing Congebec as professional, responsive and dependable. The supporting letters highlighted traceability, positive audit experiences, accurate follow-up and the company's commitment to food safety, quality and continuous improvement.

"This recognition confirms that Mascouche is operating among the best facilities in our industry," said Nicholas-P Pedneault, CEO of Congebec. "While we would have been honoured to receive the top award, being selected from a strong field is a source of pride and motivation for our entire organization."

Mascouche also reflects Congebec's focus on modern and energy-conscious infrastructure. The facility incorporates lithium smart batteries for material-handling equipment, energy-regeneration systems, EV charging stations, air curtains, high-insulation doors, underfloor hot-glycol heating and high-performance building materials.

Congebec congratulates the award recipient and all finalists. The company will continue to build on the experience, share the lessons from Mascouche across its network and pursue ever-higher standards for food safety and customer confidence.

INNOVATE. COMPETE. WIN TOGETHER. From World Cup Jerseys to Circular Innovation, Far Eastern New Century Leads the Way in Sustainable Textiles

TAIPEI, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Far Eastern New Century Corporation (FENC), a globally integrated polyester and textile manufacturer, showcased its latest innovations at the Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show (TITAS), held in Taipei from October 6 to 8, 2026, spanning elite sportswear, 100% polyester circular solutions, and advanced functional fibers.

With decades of experience in performance textile materials, FENC combines proprietary profiled-fiber technology, high-strength fabric engineering, and ergonomic textile design to deliver high-performance solutions for demanding sports applications. FENC is a key supplier in the apparel value chain for multiple national teams competing in the 2026 World Cup, with its innovative technologies also featured in championship apparel worn by top professional tennis players.

Among FENC's latest innovations, FENC® TopCool® Petal, a next-generation moisture-management fiber, has been selected by a leading global sportswear brand as a designated material for the 2026 World Cup. Featuring a distinctive petal-shaped cross-section, the fiber delivers efficient moisture wicking, rapid drying, a soft hand feel, and enhanced opacity to reduce the see-through effect caused by perspiration. Preliminary Revenue of $1.1 Million is the Highest Quarterly Revenue in the Company's History

SURPRISE, Ariz., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- SenesTech, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNES), the leader in rodent birth control and sustainable rodent population management, today announced preliminary revenue results for the third quarter of 2026. The Company plans to release its definitive third quarter financial results the week of November 9, 2026.

Preliminary third quarter 2026 revenue was approximately $1.1 million, representing approximately 40% growth compared with the second quarter of 2026 and approximately 55% growth compared with the third quarter of 2025. It was also the Company's first quarter at or above the $1 million revenue threshold, a key milestone.

The Company expects its definitive third quarter financial results to reflect continued momentum in e-commerce, including higher subscription revenue, which is expanding the recurring component of SenesTech's revenue base, as well as increasing traction in B2B.

"Our preliminary third quarter revenue marks an important milestone for SenesTech, reaching the $1 million threshold for the first time and setting a second consecutive quarterly record," said Michael Edell, Chief Executive Officer of SenesTech. "This is another quarter demonstrating progress on the plans and strategies we have previously announced, and our full third quarter financial results are expected to reflect that progress across the commercial model we have been building. E-commerce continues to scale as a controllable, data-driven acquisition engine, our vertical-focused B2B organization is gaining traction, and higher subscription revenue is expanding our recurring revenue base and improving the quality and visibility of revenue."

"We still have work to do, but we believe this is a clear indication that we are on the right path. We continue to lay the foundation for a much larger company in the future by working to expand e-commerce and B2B significantly in a cost-effective manner. With many of the investments and transition costs incurred earlier in the year increasingly behind us, coupled with strong revenue growth and improved unit economics, we expect continued, improved metrics going forward," Edell concluded.

The preliminary third quarter 2026 revenue presented in this release is unaudited, preliminary and subject to adjustment, and remains subject to completion of the Company's quarter-end closing procedures.

New composite outcomes data show patients treated with Lilly's Omvoh (mirikizumab-mrkz) achieved comprehensive corticosteroid-free disease control in ulcerative colitis and corticosteroid-free deep remission in Crohn's disease at one year
Image File
Original HTML

In LUCENT-2, more than one in four (27.7%) Omvoh-treated patients with ulcerative colitis achieved comprehensive disease control, a novel composite outcome defined by simultaneous symptomatic, endoscopic and histologic remission, biomarker normalization and no corticosteroid use

In VIVID-1, one in five (20.4%) Omvoh-treated patients with Crohn's disease achieved corticosteroid-free deep remission, a composite outcome defined by simultaneous clinical remission, endoscopic remission and no corticosteroid use

Across both types of inflammatory bowel disease, including patients with prior biologic failure, achieving comprehensive disease control or corticosteroid-free deep remission was associated with improved patient-reported outcomes

INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- New data analyses from Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) show patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease treated with Omvoh (mirikizumab-mrkz) achieved multiple treatment goals simultaneously at one year, as measured by comprehensive disease control in UC and corticosteroid-free deep remission in Crohn's disease. These multidimensional outcomes were observed even in patients with prior biologic failure, a population often facing greater treatment challenges. More than one-third of patients in the UC analysis and nearly half of patients in the Crohn's disease analysis had previously experienced biologic treatment failure. Furthermore, patients who achieved these endpoints were more likely to also achieve remission on the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire (IBDQ), a validated patient-reported measure of health-related quality of life. Together, these findings reflect an evolution of treatment goals in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), looking across symptoms, inflammation and impact of disease on daily life to support a more holistic, patient-centered approach that goes beyond clinical remission. These post-hoc data from the LUCENT and VIVID programs will be presented at United European Gastroenterology (UEG) Week 2026.1,2

"Treatment in inflammatory bowel disease is often measured one endpoint at a time. These new data show that patients treated with Omvoh achieved multiple treatment goals simultaneously at one year, including those with prior biologic failure, and were more likely to report better quality of life," said Anabela Cardoso, senior vice president, Lilly Immunology Medical Affairs. "These findings reinforce the impact that Omvoh can have for people living with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease and show that a higher bar for disease control is achievable."

A comprehensive approach to IBD management considers multiple dimensions of disease, including the symptoms patients experience, what clinicians can objectively measure and how disease affects daily life.3-4 In previously published real-world studies, improvements across multiple dimensions of disease have been associated with a lower risk of flares, steroid use, hospitalization and surgery over time.4-7

"Inflammatory bowel disease is complex, and understanding treatment impact requires a broader view than any single endpoint can provide. These endpoints reflect a meaningful shift in how we define treatment success," said Stefan Schreiber, M.D., University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel. "Across the LUCENT and VIVID programs, Omvoh-treated patients achieved multidimensional treatment outcomes, including comprehensive disease control in ulcerative colitis and corticosteroid-free deep remission in Crohn's disease. Importantly, these outcomes were also observed in patients with prior biologic failure."

Comprehensive disease control with Omvoh in ulcerative colitis

Comprehensive disease control is a novel composite outcome, informed by an international expert consensus3, that combines clinical remission*, no corticosteroid use for at least 12 weeks before Week 52, histologic remission† and fecal calprotectin ≤250 μg/g. Omvoh is the first IL-23p19 inhibitor evaluated for comprehensive disease control in UC, reflecting an evolving approach to treatment goals that goes beyond individual measures of disease activity for people living with UC.

Comprehensive disease control was evaluated in a post hoc analysis at one year in patients with UC who responded to Omvoh at Week 12 in the LUCENT-1 induction study and were re-randomized in LUCENT-2 to continue Omvoh or receive placebo. More than one-third of patients (35.3%) had previously experienced biologic treatment failure.

At one year:1

- 27.7% of patients treated with Omvoh achieved comprehensive disease control compared with 14% receiving placebo.‡

- Among patients with prior biologic failure, 23.4% of those treated with Omvoh achieved comprehensive disease control compared with 9.4% receiving placebo.‡

- Among Omvoh-treated patients, 91.1% of those who achieved comprehensive disease control also achieved IBDQ remission§, compared with 65.2% of those who did not achieve comprehensive disease control.

- Omvoh-treated patients who achieved comprehensive disease control were also more likely to report no to minimal bowel urgency (bowel urgency remission) and greater improvements in work productivity than those who did not achieve comprehensive disease control.∥

Corticosteroid-free deep remission with Omvoh in Crohn's disease

Corticosteroid-free deep remission was evaluated in a post hoc analysis at one year in patients with Crohn's disease in VIVID-1. Nearly half of patients (48.6%) had previously experienced biologic treatment failure. Corticosteroid-free deep remission is a composite outcome that combines clinical remission (as measured by the Crohn's Disease Activity Index), endoscopic remission and no corticosteroid use for at least 12 weeks before Week 52.¶

At one year:2

- 20.4% of patients receiving Omvoh achieved corticosteroid-free deep remission compared with 2% receiving placebo.#

- Among patients with prior biologic failure, 15.7% of those treated with Omvoh achieved corticosteroid-free deep remission compared with none of those receiving placebo.#

- Among Omvoh-treated patients, 88.1% of those who achieved corticosteroid-free deep remission also achieved IBDQ remission§, compared with 51% of those who did not achieve corticosteroid-free deep remission.

The safety findings observed in the Phase 3 LUCENT and VIVID clinical trial programs have been reported previously. The most common adverse reactions associated with Omvoh treatment in LUCENT-1 and -2 (reported in at least 2% of subjects at a higher frequency than placebo) were upper respiratory tract infections, injection site reactions, arthralgia, rash, headache and herpes viral infection. In VIVID-1, the most common adverse reactions associated with Omvoh treatment (reported in at least 5% of subjects at a higher frequency than placebo) were upper respiratory tract infections, injection site reactions, headache, arthralgia and elevated liver tests.8

Omvoh has received regulatory approvals for the treatment of moderately to severely active UC and moderately to severely active Crohn's disease in adults and has been approved in 47 countries. Omvoh is also approved as a single-injection maintenance regimen for adults with UC in several countries around the world, including the U.S., EU, Canada and Japan.

Lilly continues to advance the standard of care in gastroenterology through the next wave of immunology innovation, including combination approaches, novel mechanisms and the potential of incretins. Lilly is pursuing combination studies of mirikizumab aimed at delivering breakthrough induction efficacy while maintaining long-term remission and safety. These include studies in UC with eltrekibart (NCT06598943), a monoclonal antibody that targets neutrophil-driven inflammation, and with zotemtegrast (NCT07186101), an oral α4β7 integrin inhibitor. In Crohn's disease, Lilly is studying mirikizumab in combination with an FXR agonist (NCT07483099). The COMMIT-UC (NCT06937086) and COMMIT-CD (NCT06937099) trials are investigating the concomitant use of mirikizumab and an incretin-based therapy in adults with UC or Crohn's disease and obesity or overweight with at least one additional weight-related comorbid condition. In addition, trials of mirikizumab in pediatric patients are ongoing, including a long-term extension study in UC and Crohn's disease (NCT04844606) and an ongoing Phase 3 study in pediatric Crohn's disease (NCT05509777).

About the LUCENT Clinical Trial Program

Omvoh was studied in two Phase 3 clinical trials which evaluated the efficacy and safety of Omvoh in adults with moderately to severely active UC, in both biologic-naïve patients and those who had previously failed a biologic or Janus kinase inhibitor (JAKi).

The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled LUCENT-1 (induction) study included patients with an inadequate response, loss of response, or intolerance to corticosteroids, immunomodulators, biologic therapy, or JAKi, and LUCENT-2 (maintenance) evaluated continued treatment versus placebo in patients who achieved a clinical response to Omvoh in LUCENT-1.

About the VIVID Clinical Trial Program

VIVID-1 was a Phase 3 randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled 52-week study in adults with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease. Patients randomized to Omvoh received Omvoh 900 mg by intravenous (IV) infusion at Week 0, Week 4 and Week 8, followed by a maintenance dose of 300 mg by subcutaneous injection (SC) at Week 12 and then every four weeks (Q4W) for 40 weeks.

About Omvoh

Omvoh (mirikizumab-mrkz) is an interleukin-23p19 (IL-23p19) antagonist indicated for the treatment of moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease in adults. Omvoh selectively targets the p19 subunit of IL-23 and inhibits the IL-23 pathway. Inflammation due to over-activation of the IL-23 pathway plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease.

Creality Launches Ender-3 V3 Mega Combo at $669 for Large-Format Printing and Batch Production
Image File
Original HTML

FRANKFURT, Germany and HOUSTON, Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Creality today launches two new additions to its Ender-3 series, Ender-3 V3 Mega, a large-format 3D printer designed for small-batch production and TPU printing, and Ender-3 V3 Neo, a compact 3D printer built for first-time and entry-level buyers. Starting October 15, both printers are available to order through Creality's official stores at early-bird prices of $669 for the Mega Combo and $329 for the Neo Combo.

Nine years after its first launch, the Ender-3 series continues to evolve for creators with different levels of experience and varying fabrication needs. With more than 4 million units shipped, the series has inspired makers around the world. For many users, Ender-3 has been part of their creative journey, from their first prints to projects that push the boundaries of creativity. The two new members continue that journey, with Mega supporting batch production and Neo offering an accessible desktop option for everyday creative printing.

Large-Format Printing & Flexible TPU Production

With a 420 × 420 × 420 mm build volume, the Ender-3 V3 Mega enables users to print large models in one piece, minimizing the need for model splitting, assembly work and visible seams. In batch production, multiple objects can be arranged on a single build plate, helping print farms or design studios complete more jobs in fewer print runs. The mega size is suitable for applications such as large cosplay props, furniture components and batches of functional prototypes, where build capacity and production efficiency matter.

Beyond its build volume, Mega is designed for flexible 85A–95A TPU printing, powered by the optimized Sprite 2 extruder and printing algorithms. It supports producing protective covers, flexible connectors and other functional parts that require elasticity.

Note: TPU printing supports direct feeding from spool only and is not compatible with the automatic relay module or the CFS Nano.

Multicolor Printing with CFS Nano

Mega and Neo feature automatic filament relay, which switches to the backup filament when the current spool runs out, reducing interruptions during long prints. The Combo version supports four-color printing when paired with the CFS Nano, which can read material types and colors from compatible Creality RFID filaments. The CFS Nano also monitors remaining filaments and alerts users when they are running low.

With a high-rigidity metal frame, Mega maintains stable printing performance while delivering large outputs. Dual Z motors and vibration compensation help reduce ringing and layer shifts, and dual Y motors drive the large build plate smoothly at speeds up to 500 mm/s.

Easy Setup and Printing for New Makers

Built for everyday creative projects, the compact Ender-3 V3 Neo offers a 220 × 220 × 220 mm build volume at an accessible price. It simplifies the setup and maintenance and reduces manual operations through fully automatic bed leveling and a quick-swap nozzle. Neo is a go-to option for first-time users, students, and young creators who are new to 3D printing.

Pricing and Availability

The Ender-3 V3 Mega and Neo are now available to order through Creality's official online stores in the US and Europe. In the US, the Mega Combo is available at an early-bird price of $669 from October 15 to November 10, while the Neo Combo is available at an early-bird price of $329 during the same period. In Europe, the Mega Combo is priced at €699, with four free filament rolls included on orders placed from October 15 to November 30. The Neo Combo is priced at €329, with two free filament rolls included during the same period.

Reallusion's 2026 3D Character Contest - Meet the Winners!

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Reallusion's 2026 3D Character Contest was held from June 1st to October 1st, 2026. Within 3 months, 200 submissions were submitted from 49 countries. The contest showcases the best 3D character design and animation created using Reallusion's powerful character production ecosystems: Character Creator for 3D character creation, iClone for facial and body animation, and AccuRIG for rigging.

"We at Reallusion are thrilled to watch so many world-class character artists integrate Character Creator and iClone into their professional workflows. This contest clearly demonstrated that Character Creator gives artists complete creative freedom to build original 3D characters in any style or genre. Huge congratulations to every participant. We are excited to keep pushing the boundaries of 3D innovation for the community!"

– Enoc Burgos, Reallusion Director of Partnership Marketing

Meet Our Winners And Their Testimonials

After weeks of careful evaluation by our esteemed panel of judges, the following winners stood out for their exceptional work.

Realistic Character Design

Under this category, entrants create a realistic human character in Character Creator by combining the character base with tools like ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, Blender, Wrap, Texturing.xyz, and Maya. Watch their winning entry and testimonials below.

1st Place: Jax: Soul of the Street – by Jimmy Watelle, Manager | Costa Rica

"Character Creator and the Blender Data Link helped me a lot in building the base of the Jax character, but I also faced numerous challenges related to my skill level and navigating between software, sometimes losing data or synchronization along the way. This project brought me as much enjoyment, and it helped me grow tremendously." – Jimmy Watelle

2nd Place: Shannaz – by Leudemar "Leo" Lima, Concept Artist | Brazil

"Character Creator helped me bring my design to 3D with a lot of fidelity and realism; easy to use and intuitive, CC5 is a really powerful tool for concept artists." – Leudemar "Leo" Lima

3rd Place: An Unearthly Find – by Jeet Shah, Technical Artist | India

"The speed of CC5 in making changes to primary forms for any character is impeccable and probably the best among any 3D software I've ever used. Need a skinny short girl- tweak a few sliders you get a skinny short girl. Need a fat stubby creature- tweak some more sliders and take it to ZBrush and you have a humanoid creature in under an hour all the while maintaining the subdivided geometry details in CC5 thanks to GoZ Plus. And all of them with a full-body skeleton that's ready to add some controls for posing. The new HD morphs in CC5 are certainly an upgrade to the previous version, where the lack of base mesh resolution made the morphs a bit less detailed; the new ones still come out quite detailed. One other feature I've heavily used is the new addition to Auto Setup for Maya. That allowed for a seamless experience in making the facial expressions on the characters directly in Maya, where I rendered them."– Jeet Shah

Stylized Character Design

Under this category, entrants create a stylized character in Character Creator by combining the character base with tools like ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marvelous Designer, Blender, Wrap, Texturing.xyz, and Maya. Watch their winning entry and testimonials below.

1st Place: Kohaku - Warden of Memories – by Oscar Fernandez Gonzalez, 3D Character Artist | Spain

"As a sculptor, Character Creator lets me start from a clean, optimized base mesh that I can freely customize in ZBrush. Moving back and forth between ZBrush and CC5 allows me to use each application for what it does best, making the entire workflow faster and more efficient. My favorite feature is being able to test poses on the character with incredible precision. It's fast, intuitive, and a genuinely enjoyable part of the creative process." – Oscar Fernandez Gonzalez

2nd Place: Erlen From Lemuria's Savage Lands – by Felix Enrique Yaguare Lopez, Student and Freelancer | Venezuela

"Character Creator allowed me to bring my character to life effortlessly. Being able to quickly test and iterate different poses gave me the freedom to explore Erlen in multiple situations, something that would have been impossible in my timeframe, as I joined the contest a month and a half late while finishing my class projects for Libel Academy." – Felix Enrique Yaguare Lopez

3rd Place: Alyssa – by Thivolan Moodley, 3D Sculptor & Freelancer | South Africa

"I was able to use the base mesh to really push the design from start to finish without needing to retopologize or change much else! This helped me focus on sculpting and likeness more!" – Thivolan Moodley

Realistic Character Animation

Use iClone to create a realistic animation for a character made with the CC3+ Base. The character model can be customized with Reallusion tools and content or third-party software like ZBrush, Blender, Unreal Engine. Watch their winning entry and testimonials below.

1st Place: Franco Colapino – by Off World, FCGI Cinematics Freelancer | Argentina

"Without Reallusion's tools, achieving this level of quality and ease of iteration in pursuing our goal would not have been possible; the power and creative freedom it provides are immense." – Off World

View Off World's entry and WIP

2nd Place: The Hunt – by Joseph Hoback, 3D | United States

"There's no way I could have gotten as far as I did without the use of an iClone. The mocap informed not only the timing and energy but also the character as a whole." – Joseph Hoback

3rd Place: Special ops: Lioness – by Hector Mercado, CGI artist & Filmmaker | Dominican Republic

"The new Headshot 3 features, together with the AI-assisted reference image generation and cleanup, really help in getting the character likeness when trying to create a digital double!" – Hector Mercado

Stylized Character Animation

Under this category, contestants use iClone to create a stylized animation for a character made with the CC3+ Base. The character model can be customized with Reallusion tools and content or third-party software like ZBrush, Blender, Unreal Engine. Watch their winning entry and testimonials below.

1st Place: STONE GODZ – by Dazhi Benjamin Sokomba, Animator | Nigeria

"I used iClone for the final real-time render, Character Creator 5 for the main character and AccuRIG for the stone characters." – Dazhi Benjamin Sokomba

2nd Place: Moss Fairy – by Affan Shiekh, CGI artist | Pakistan

"Character Creator 5 is amazing. It gets better every year, and I would like more implementations for the Blender addon!" – Affan Shiekh

3rd Place: Max Mad Animation – by Soorena Sardarzadeh, CGI artist & Filmmaker | United States

"With iClone, making animation isn't harder than it needs to be." – Soorena Sardarzadeh
