Executive Commentary

Dr. Christian Behrenbruch, Managing Director and Group CEO, stated, “Demand for both Gozellix and Illuccix remained strong during the quarter, with U.S. dose volumes increasing 1% quarter-over-quarter, in line with our expectations and reflecting expected summer seasonality. We are pleased by the strong September exit run rate, supporting our confidence in delivering over 25% Precision Medicine revenue growth in 2026. We achieved an important milestone with the FDA approval of Pixclara, expanding our commercial portfolio, establishing a presence in neuro-oncology and further diversifying our revenue base. Therapeutics Business Unit

- TLX591-Tx (177Lu rosopatamab tetraxetan): Following FDA review and alignment of the Part 1 safety data, Telix is finalizing its IND amendment to the FDA to support progression to Part 2 of the ProstACT Global Phase 3 study in the U.S.12. Outside the U.S., Part 2 of the global study continues to enroll patients across seven countries: Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Türkiye, the UK, Singapore, and South Korea. Regulatory approvals have also been obtained to proceed in China and Japan13.

- TLX597-Tx (177Lu-DOTA-HYNIC-panPSMA): OPTIMAL-PSMA14, a Phase 2 study evaluating TLX597-Tx in metastatic androgen pathway modulator-resistant (mAPMR) prostate cancer15, completed enrollment of 120 patients16. A data readout is expected in the first half of 2027. OPTIMAL-e17, a Phase 2 study evaluating TLX597-Tx in metastatic androgen pathway modulator-naive or -sensitive (mAPMN/S) prostate cancer18, continues to demonstrate strong enrollment momentum.

- TLX250-Tx (177Lu girentuximab tetraxetan): Continued enrollment of patients in LUTEON19, a pivotal trial of TLX250-Tx in advanced clear cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (ccRCC). The trial is evaluating the safety and efficacy of TLX250-Tx compared with the investigator’s choice of monotherapy consistent with standard of care.

- TLX101-Tx (iodofalan 131I): Following full enrollment of the first cohort in Part 1 of the Phase 3 IPAX BrIGHT study20, an IND amendment was filed with the FDA to support expansion of the trial into Part 1b in the U.S. IPAX-221, a Phase 1 study of TLX101-Tx in patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma met its primary endpoint, establishing a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of two 5 GBq cycles in combination with standard of care. No dose-limiting toxicities were observed, supporting advancement of IPAX-2 to Phase 222.

Precision Medicine Business Unit

68Ga-PSMA-11 for prostate cancer imaging:

- BiPASS®, a Phase 3 study of 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET in combination with MRI for the diagnosis of prostate cancer in the pre-biopsy setting, completed enrollment of 350 patients. Rapid enrollment underscores the unmet need for a minimally invasive option for prostate cancer diagnosis. The study builds on the clinical foundation established by the PRIMARY23 and PRIMARY224 studies and is intended to support regulatory submissions. The FDA has supported an NDA pathway that could facilitate reimbursement and granted Fast Track Designation, which may enable an expedited review.

- With enrollment complete in the Phase 3 registrational study of TLX591-Px (Illuccix) in Japan25, Telix is preparing for NDA submission and potential market entry. A Conditional Approval is currently under review by Japan’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Agency (PMDA) and is expected to facilitate an expedited review process.

TLX101-Px (floretyrosine F 18) for brain cancer imaging:

- Telix’s Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) for Pixlumi®26 in Europe remains under review.

- Following the FDA clearance of the IND application, Telix is advancing a Phase 3 registrational study to support expansion of the Pixclara label for the diagnosis of brain metastases.

TLX250-Px, Zircaix®27 (89Zr-girentuximab senvedoxam) for kidney cancer imaging:

- Following receipt of the corrected Complete Response Letter (CRL), Telix is finalizing its Biologics License Application (BLA) resubmission package, addressing the remaining third-party manufacturing observations. Resubmission to the FDA is planned in the near term and remains a top priority for the Company in 2026.

Telix Manufacturing Solutions (TMS)

- Through RLS, Telix has established a growing network of micro-pharmacy sites, known as UroOncRxTM, providing urologists with onsite access to our imaging agents, particularly in underserved and remote markets. Multiple sites are now operational and dispensing product, further strengthening our radiopharmacy infrastructure and expanding patient access.

- ARTMS, a Telix company, has secured contracts for 50 QUANTM® Irradiation Systems (QIS®) globally, achieving a key commercial milestone and reflecting continued demand for its isotope production technology. Telix has also placed an order to purchase multiple cyclotrons from Ion Beam Application (IBA) where each cyclotron will be equipped with QIS® technology.

- Telix announced a collaboration with Ekalia28, a joint venture between IBA (Ion Beam Applications S.A., EURONEXT) and Framatome, to advance scalable U.S. production of astatine-211 (211At), an alpha-emitting radioisotope being investigated for targeted alpha therapy. The first IBA alpha-beam cyclotron installation at Telix’s RLS Radiopharmacies site in Trevose, near Philadelphia (PA) is intended to establish a reproducible production model, with the potential for further rollout across the RLS network as demand develops. The collaboration secures long-term, priority isotope access for Telix’s alpha therapy pipeline, while also supporting third-party academic and industry programs.

Corporate Updates

- Telix announced a transformational merger with ITM, the world’s leading supplier of therapeutic radioisotopes, reinforcing its long-term strategy as a vertically integrated radiopharmaceutical company and further strengthening one of the industry’s broadest therapeutic pipelines. ITM brings a complementary late-stage portfolio led by ITM-11 (177Lu-edotreotide) for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs), as well as industry-leading isotope capabilities anchored by the only globally scaled commercial-grade 177Lu production platform. The transaction includes upfront consideration of US$1.65 billion on a cash-free, debt-free basis, with ITM shareholders expected to receive approximately US$1.25 billion in Telix shares released as ADRs. Additional contingent consideration of up to US$700 million may be paid upon achievement of future regulatory approvals and commercial sales milestones for ITM-11. The transaction remains subject to Telix shareholder approval and customary closing conditions. A General Meeting of Shareholders is expected to be held on December 1, 2026 (AEDT).

- Mr. David Gill was appointed Chair of the Board on September 1, 202629. Mr. Gill is a life sciences executive with more than 35 years of experience in biopharma, radiopharmaceuticals and medical devices. He has held senior leadership positions, including President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles at multiple public companies, and brings extensive expertise in capital markets, governance, business scaling and corporate strategy. He currently serves on the boards of several healthcare companies and holds degrees from Wake Forest University and Emory University.

Answer ALS Announces NFL Commitment of $500,000 to Champion Insights to Investigate Why Athletes, Veterans, and First Responders Face Higher ALS Risk
Image File
Original HTML

NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Answer ALS announced that the National Football League (NFL) has committed $500,000 to Champion Insights, a nationwide research study investigating why elite athletes, military veterans, and first responders develop ALS at higher rates than the general public. The study aims to uncover genetic and biological factors that may help explain this increased risk and ultimately lead to new treatments and strategies to prevent ALS.

The commitment was announced October 5 on Good Morning America during an interview with Answer ALS founder Steve Gleason, a former New Orleans Saints player and leading ALS advocate. Gleason, diagnosed with ALS in 2011, was the study's first participant.

On the broadcast, Gleason emphasized the importance of moving beyond speculation to understand the underlying causes of ALS.

"That is not a rumor. It is a fact we have to face with honesty and urgency. I do not spend time on speculation. I spend it asking why. That is the purpose of Champion Insights. We believe the answers will be found in our biology and the traits that come with high-performance lives," Gleason said.

"The NFL has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to the ALS community, and we are incredibly grateful for that support," said Clare Durrett, Managing Director of Answer ALS. "What makes this investment especially meaningful is the NFL's willingness to help us look deeper into the genetic and biological factors that may contribute to increased ALS risk. We want to understand not just who is more vulnerable, but why. Those answers could be important for everyone facing this disease, and ultimately help us find ways to treat and prevent ALS."

People in these high-intensity professions may face up to twice the risk of ALS compared with the general population. Champion Insights, launched earlier this year, is enrolling up to 500 participants through remote participation, including in-home blood collection and comprehensive surveys examining genetics, lifestyle, environmental exposures, and other potential contributing factors.

The study builds on the established research infrastructure of Answer ALS and the ALS Therapy Development Institute's ARC study, applying comprehensive biological and clinical data collection methods to populations with a documented higher risk of ALS. By examining these groups more closely, researchers hope to uncover biological mechanisms that may be relevant to ALS across the broader population.

"As an aviator, we trained to perform at our best, physically, mentally, and professionally," said Matt Bellina, retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and person living with ALS. "That pursuit of excellence is something we take pride in. But science is beginning to explore whether some of the same biological traits that drive high performance may also contribute to increased ALS risk. Champion Insights is asking why, and those answers could benefit everyone facing this disease. We owe it to every warrior, competitor, and family impacted by ALS to keep searching."

Champion Insights is led by Answer ALS and Augie's Quest to Cure ALS, with research conducted by the ALS Therapy Development Institute and guidance from the Champion Insights Advisory Board, which includes leading experts in ALS research. The study's ultimate goal is to translate discoveries about increased risk into a better understanding of ALS biology, paving the way for more targeted treatments and strategies to prevent the disease for everyone.

For more information about Champion Insights participation eligibility or to enroll, please visit the Champion Insights website or contact [email protected].

Media can access the Champion Insights overview video and review the full digital media kit, including b-roll, images, and background materials, at the Champion Insights media resources page.

ZURICH, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Chubb Limited (NYSE: CB) today reported net income for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 of $2.84 billion, or $7.30 per share, and core operating income of $2.98 billion, or $7.66 per share. Book value per share and tangible book value per share increased by 5.1% and 5.7%, respectively, from September 30, 2025 and now stand at $191.43 and $126.96. For the last three months, book value was unfavorably impacted by after-tax net realized and unrealized losses of $4.48 billion in Chubb's investment portfolio, partially offset by $551 million of foreign currency gains. Book value per share and tangible book value per share excluding AOCI increased by 11.1% and 15.4% from September 30, 2025.

Effective Q3 2026, segment income and core operating income have been redefined to exclude intangible amortization expenses related to purchased intangibles other than long-term distribution agreements. Refer to "Regulation G – Non-GAAP Financial Measures" in this press release and the Table of Contents page in the Q3 2026 Chubb Limited Financial Supplement for additional information. Prior-period results have been restated to reflect these changes.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2026, net income was $8.02 billion, or $20.46 per share, and core operating income was $8.60 billion, or $21.94 per share. Book value per share and tangible book value per share increased by 1.5% and 0.6%, from December 31, 2025. For the last nine months, book value was unfavorably impacted by after-tax net realized and unrealized losses of $6.03 billion in Chubb's investment portfolio, partially offset by $643 million of foreign currency gains. Book value per share and tangible book value per share excluding AOCI increased by 7.4% and 10.1%, from December 31, 2025.

For the nine months ended September 30, 2026 and 2025, the tax expenses (benefits) related to the table above were $6 million and $47 million, respectively for adjusted net realized gains and losses; $(7) million and nil for integration expenses and severance; $(7) million and $(38) million for market risk benefits gains and losses; $(33) million and $(36) million for amortization of fair value adjustments; and $2.09 billion and $1.75 billion for core operating income.

Evan G. Greenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chubb Limited, commented: "We had a really strong quarter with strong contributions from all of our businesses. Our diversification is highly supportive of growth and sustained margins which speak to our underwriting discipline, a hallmark of our company.

"P&C underwriting, investment and life income results led to core operating earnings of $2.98 billion, or $7.66 per share. Due to particularly light CAT losses last year, earnings are down 2% and up 1% per share from 2025. For the first nine months of the year, which is a more meaningful perspective, core operating income is a record $8.6 billion, or $21.94 per share, up 21% and 24.5%, respectively, from the prior year.

"Annualized core operating return on tangible equity is 21.6% and core operating ROE is 14.9%. Tangible book value per share is up 5.7% from the prior year. This was impacted by the mark-to-market due to higher interest rates. Adjusting for AOCI, tangible book value per share increased 15.4%.

"For the quarter, P&C underwriting income is $2.1 billion, which led to a combined ratio of 84.1%, and on a current accident year ex-CAT basis, our combined ratio is 82.6%, simply excellent. Year-to-date underwriting income of $5.8 billion is up nearly 34% from 2025.

"On the investment side of our business, adjusted net investment income is a record $1.9 billion, supported by rising interest rates and an excellent fixed-income investment environment, which we have been anticipating for some time, given government deficits and the capital investment cycle. On the alternative asset side, as publicly announced in the quarter, Strategic Holdings, our holding company partnership with KKR, agreed to sell our investment in USI Insurance Services to Aon, which is expected to result in a realized gain of $460 million on an investment of $740 million.

"While the market continues to grow more competitive in commercial P&C across the board, particularly in the U.S. and London, the substantial majority of our underwriting businesses grew in the quarter, with the balance flat or purposely shrinking due to inadequate pricing or terms.

"We are benefiting from our diversification. Overseas General grew 6.7%, with Latin America up 11.7%, Asia up 7.5% and Europe up about 7%. North America personal lines was up 5.3% and agriculture was up 5.1%. North America commercial was down 2.7%, impacted by a reduction in exposure, including increased use of reinsurance and underwriting related non-renewal actions, predominantly property and financial lines-related. I fully expect North America commercial growth to improve in future quarters.

"Our deep local presence and capabilities globally, our large and growing invested asset along with rising interest rates, and operating discipline provide us continued growth opportunities and sustainability of value creation. I am confident in our ability to continue to outperform and to generate strong growth in operating earnings and EPS and, most important, double-digit growth in tangible book value."

Operating highlights for the quarter ended September 30, 2026 were as follows:

- Consolidated net premiums earned increased 3.9%, or 4.0% in constant dollars. P&C net premiums earned increased 4.3%, or 4.0% in constant dollars.

- Operating cash flow was $6.07 billion and adjusted operating cash flow was $5.55 billion. Both were records.

- Total capital returned to shareholders in the quarter was $1.57 billion, comprising share repurchases of $1.18 billion at an average purchase price of $344.32 per share and dividends of $393 million. Total capital returned to shareholders for the nine months was $4.47 billion, comprising share repurchases of $3.30 billion at an average purchase price of $332.33 per share and dividends of $1.17 billion.
