FirstEnergy Declares 46.5-Cent Quarterly Dividend Payable Dec. 1

Akron, Ohio – September 29, 2026 -- FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE) declared a quarterly dividend of 46.5 cents per share of outstanding common stock, payable December 1, 2026.

Board sets record date for shareholder payout

Shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 6, 2026, will be eligible to receive the payment. The declaration was approved by FirstEnergy's Board of Directors.

Potomac Edison Seeks $52.8M Maryland Rate Hike for Grid Upgrades

Williamsport, Md. – September 09, 2026 -- Potomac Edison, a FirstEnergy Corp. (NYSE: FE) subsidiary, has filed a $52.8 million rate adjustment proposal with the Maryland Public Service Commission that would raise the average residential customer's monthly bill by approximately 5.3%.

Even after the increase, Potomac Edison's residential rates would remain the lowest among Maryland's investor-owned electric utilities. As of June 1, the utility's rates stood 25% below the average of its in-state peers.

FirstEnergy Foundation Awards $1.3M to Fight Hunger in New Jersey

Holmdel, N.J. – September 07, 2026 -- The FirstEnergy Foundation is awarding $1.3 million to 25 New Jersey food banks and pantries, funding expected to provide more than 3.8 million meals across the state. The grants, announced during Hunger Action Month, mark the largest hunger-relief investment in the Foundation's history.
