Miami Beach – October 02, 2026 -- Apotheke South Beach, a botanical-infused cocktail lounge hidden behind an unmarked door on Washington Avenue at Moxy South Beach, opens October 16 in the Art Deco District.

The venue marks the brand's fourth location since 2008

Apotheke Mixology began behind an unmarked oak door on New York City's Doyers Street in 2008. The brand later expanded with Apotheke Los Angeles in 2018 and Apotheke NoMad New York City in 2022. Apotheke South Beach brings the concept to Florida for the first time, accessed directly from the street rather than through the hotel.

Nine new cocktails were created exclusively for the Washington Avenue bar

Mixology Director Nicolas O'Connor curated nine original drinks for the location, including Novia Del Sol, Write It Off, Dry Until Vitae, Dawn Patrol, Bait & Switch, Bilongo, Will-O'-The-Wisp, Ears to You, and Collins Cure. The menu also rotates in historic formulas from the New York and Los Angeles bars.

Drinks are grouped by the effect they're designed to evoke. The Health & Beauty category includes Novia Del Sol, made with vodka infused with calendula, coconut and California orange cordial, tamarind, turmeric, and Meyer lemon. Painkillers include Write It Off, a mix of bourbon, Amaro Montenegro, date nectar, tamarind, and matcha bitters. Stimulants feature Dawn Patrol, combining dark-aged rum, ube, dark roast coffee, condensed coconut milk, cardamom, and burnt cinnamon. The Aphrodisiacs category includes Bilongo, built on dark-aged rum, açai, pistachio cream, lime, goji berry, maca root, and Dubai chocolate bitters.

The space sits alongside two other new dining concepts at Moxy South Beach

Apotheke South Beach joins Naked Tomato by Chef Eyal Shani, a modern Israeli restaurant, and Serena, a rooftop space serving Latin fusion dishes, within the same property.
