LOS ANGELES, Oct. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Green Water and Power (GWP), a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, is excited to announce a new partnership with Goodwill Southern California (Goodwill SoCal) to provide on-the-job training opportunities for individuals seeking to learn new skills or trades in the electrical field. This initiative, part of the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA), aims to reduce barriers to employment and help job seekers launch rewarding new careers.

The partnership is designed specifically for individuals with little or no prior work experience and is open to qualified candidates who meet the following requirements:

Participants will receive hands-on training in the electrical trade, gaining valuable, marketable skills that can lead to long-term employment with GWP or provide a steppingstone to other career opportunities in the industry. This win-win collaboration ensures that GWP gains access to motivated, trainable candidates, while participants build real-world experience and a pathway to a sustainable career.

"At GWP, we believe in empowering our community by making access to skilled trades training more inclusive," said Christine Karlovic, Vice President at Green Water and Power. "By partnering with Goodwill SoCal, we're able to provide individuals who may not have had previous opportunities with the tools and experience needed to build lasting careers—either with us or elsewhere in the industry."

"This program is about breaking down barriers to employment," added Shelah C. Potter, Associate Director, Youth Programs & Resource Centers at Goodwill Southern California. "Together, we are offering a supportive pathway for people to enter the workforce, learn in-demand skills, and improve their lives."
