Moab Airport Adds Flights to Denver and Salt Lake City

Moab, Utah – October 01, 2026 -- Canyonlands Regional Airport (CNY) now connects to two major hubs, with United Express service to Denver launching Oct. 7 and Delta Connection service to Salt Lake City resuming Oct. 1. Both routes are operated by SkyWest Airlines.

Denver flights run year-round with up to two daily roundtrips

The United Express route to Denver International Airport (DEN) operates year-round, offering one or two daily roundtrip flights. The inaugural flight departs Denver at 8 a.m. on Oct. 7, arriving in Moab at 9:30 a.m.; the return departs CNY at 10:10 a.m. and lands in Denver at 11:35 a.m. The aircraft is a 50-passenger CRJ200.

Salt Lake City service is seasonal and pauses after Thanksgiving

Delta Connection's single daily roundtrip between CNY and Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) began Oct. 1 and will run through Thanksgiving before pausing until March. The first flight departs SLC at 3:40 p.m., arriving in Moab at 4:40 p.m., with the return leaving CNY at 5:36 p.m. and reaching SLC at 6:40 p.m. These flights use a 50-passenger CRJ550 with Delta First, Delta Comfort, and Delta Main seating.

Tickets book through United, Delta, or their apps

Travelers can purchase seats via united.com, delta.com, or the airlines' mobile apps, earning MileagePlus miles on United flights and SkyMiles on Delta flights.

"New service from Denver and Salt Lake City makes Moab easier to reach from across the country and around the world," said Michael Soleta, director of the Moab Office of Tourism.

Cody Thomas, Managing Director of Market Development at SkyWest Airlines, said the new routes give local travelers direct access to Denver and Salt Lake City along with connections across United's and Delta's global networks.
