Sports Research Debuts Creatine + Electrolytes Powder at Costco

Los Angeles – October 01, 2026 -- Sports Research has launched Creatine + Electrolytes, a sugar-free powder drink mix now sold in single-serve stick packs at select Costco warehouses, marking the family-owned company's first product in Costco's sports nutrition aisle.

Each packet delivers 5 grams of creatine and 1,000 milligrams of electrolytes

The two-in-one formula combines micronized creatine monohydrate for strength and workout recovery support with a four-electrolyte blend of sodium, potassium, magnesium and chloride for hydration support. The product is Informed Sport certified, Non-GMO Project Verified and Clean Label Project Certified.

"What excites me is how this product comes together: the formula, the flavors and the quality behind it," said Mike Pedersen, Chief Operating Officer of Sports Research. "It reflects the care we've always put into our products, now in a format built for how people actually live."

Costco's 30-count variety pack comes in three fruit flavors

The Costco pack includes Watermelon, Lemon Lime and Tropical Punch, with availability varying by warehouse. A separate 16-count variety pack adding Red Grape flavor is sold through Amazon.com, TikTok Shop and SportsResearch.com.

The launch merges two of the company's existing product lines for the first time

Creatine + Electrolytes combines Sports Research's established creatine powders and capsules with its original and salted electrolyte formulas. "Creatine and electrolytes are both strong and growing categories, and bringing them together in one convenient product is a natural extension for Sports Research," said Abid Shivji, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at the company.

The rollout debuted with a campaign tied to a Labor Day weekend festival in Mexico

The Hydrate Responsibly campaign introduced the product over Labor Day weekend at Country Splash Cabo in Cabo San Lucas, where DJ and producer Diplo led a Sunday yoga session after headlining Saturday's pool party. Sports Research instructors guided guests through movement before attendees sampled the new formula chilled in miniature cowboy boots. The company served as Official Wellness Partner of the festival at Paradisus Los Cabos, which drew more than 3,000 guests and was headlined by Riley Green, Jon Pardi, Tucker Wetmore and Diplo.

Sports Research plans to extend the Hydrate Responsibly campaign into run clubs, boutique fitness studios and additional live events, pairing product education with creators and athletes.
