United States – September 29, 2026 -- Lucid Motors has begun rolling out Air UX 3.0, a redesigned infotainment experience arriving via over-the-air update as part of Software Version 2.11.0, starting September 29, 2026.
The update reaches all eligible Lucid Air vehicles automatically. Owners of model year 2022, 2023, and some 2024 Air vehicles will need a hardware upgrade to access the new software, with the infotainment processor upgrade priced at $950 in the United States, including installation and excluding taxes. Pricing for other markets is not yet available, and owners can contact Lucid Customer Care to check eligibility.
Redesigned home screen puts controls within a swipe
Air UX 3.0 introduces a reworked Home experience on the Left Cockpit Panel featuring swipeable cards for media, vehicle controls, calls, saved destinations, and nearby charging stops. New Quick Controls let drivers swipe down from the top of the Pilot Panel to reach frequently used settings, while navigation between apps, media, and vehicle controls across both displays becomes smoother.
Profile management also gets an upgrade: faster switching between profiles, more control for the Primary profile over linked keys, and a simpler way to reset the Guest profile. A PIN-protected exit process and six-digit PIN authentication add extra security for Guest profiles.
EV routing now adapts to charging preferences
The dual-screen navigation system adds Favorites and Auto Dark Mode. Drivers can customize EV routing based on preferred charging networks, charging adapter compatibility, and the minimum range they want upon arrival.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto performance and reliability improve under the update, with both now expanding across the full right side of the Cockpit Display. The larger interface gives drivers more room for calls, music apps, directions, and messaging, supporting both wireless and USB connections.
