Fort Worth, Texas – September 28, 2026 -- Eosera has released EAR ITCH MD +PLUS, an over-the-counter spray formulated with 1% hydrocortisone to treat itchy and inflamed ear canals. The product is now available at Walmart, Meijer, Amazon.com, and eosera.com.
The formula also includes aloe, colloidal oatmeal, and turmeric, ingredients intended to soothe irritated skin. An ergonomic spray bottle is designed to coat the ear canal evenly, targeting a body area with notably thin, sensitive skin.
Consumers with eczema and dermatitis are driving early demand
Eosera CEO and Founder Elyse Stoltz Dickerson said customers managing skin conditions like eczema, dermatitis, and psoriasis have responded strongly to the launch. She said the resulting sales velocity has prompted conversations with retail partners about expanding shelf placement and adding new retail partners in coming months.
An audiologist says ear-specific formulas fill a treatment gap
Robin Carson, Au.D., CCC-A, of Carson Hearing Care in Fort Worth, said patients with eczema, dermatitis, or seasonal allergies frequently experience ear itch that standard treatments fail to address. She noted that hydrocortisone is an established option for itch and inflammation, while colloidal oatmeal has long been used for irritated skin. Carson said a product engineered specifically for the ear canal, rather than a cream made for use elsewhere on the body, distinguishes this category.
The launch expands a broader lineup of ear care products
EAR ITCH MD +PLUS joins other Eosera products addressing earwax impaction, earaches, and dry ears linked to perimenopause or allergies. The Fort Worth-based company has also recently introduced ear wellness supplements and cleaning swabs.
