Camden, N.J. – September 28, 2026 -- Subaru of America unveiled two limited-production anniversary models, the 2027 WRX GD25 and 2027 BRZ ZC15, at Boxerfest 2026 in York, Pennsylvania, with only 350 and 300 units built respectively.
The names reference the chassis codes of each car's U.S. debut: the WRX arrived in 2002 on the "GD" platform, while the BRZ launched in 2012 on the "ZC" chassis.
The WRX GD25 pairs World Rally Blue paint with rally-inspired hardware
The WRX GD25 comes exclusively in World Rally Blue over gold-painted 19-inch alloy wheels, uprated Brembo brakes with gold calipers, and Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires. A dry carbon fiber swan-neck rear wing from Subaru Tecnica International -- the same part used on Travis Pastrana's WRX ARA25L rally car -- sits at the rear, while a flexible strut tower bar and performance-tuned suspension sharpen handling.
Power comes from a 271-horsepower, 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer engine with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, routed through a 6-speed manual transmission with an STI short shifter. Inside, buyers get Recaro seats trimmed in black Ultrasuede with red accent stitching and an STI shift knob.
The BRZ ZC15 revives a bronze-and-white color scheme from 2020
The BRZ ZC15 is finished exclusively in Ceramic White paired with matte bronze wheels, red Brembo calipers, and bronze decals near the side sills -- a nod to the 2020 BRZ tS. A black decklid spoiler and a flexible V-bar under the hood round out the exterior changes.
A 2.4-liter, 228-horsepower Boxer engine sends power to the rear wheels exclusively through a 6-speed manual. Cabin details include black leather upholstery with Bordeaux red inserts, an STI aluminum and leather short shifter, and a unique "ZC15" anniversary plaque.
William Stokes, Car Line Planning Manager for Subaru of America, said the anniversary editions honor the rally pedigree and performance heritage of both nameplates.

Subaru will begin taking reservations in 2026, with the BRZ ZC15 arriving in early 2027 and the WRX GD25 following in summer 2027. Detailed specifications and pricing will be announced closer to launch.
