Los Angeles – September 22, 2026 -- Mathnasium, a math tutoring franchise with more than 1,300 learning centers worldwide, is rolling out two new offerings: Mathnasium Plus, a structured enrichment program for advanced students, and myMathnasium, a digital parent portal and app. Both are now available in the United States.
Mathnasium Plus targets students in grades 1 through pre-algebra who are ready to move beyond grade-level work
The program builds on Mathnasium's existing enrichment offerings with a structured curriculum aimed specifically at advanced learners. Instruction focuses on deepening mathematical thinking, strengthening problem-solving, and pushing students to approach complex concepts from multiple angles, with each student progressing based on individual ability and goals.
"Advanced students need more than repetitive practice or acceleration for its own sake," said Tyler Sgro, CEO of Mathnasium. "They need to be pushed beyond familiar concepts, challenged to approach problems in new ways and given room to discover what they are capable of."
The new track sits alongside Mathnasium's existing model, which starts with a student assessment that leads to a personalized learning plan, whether a student is catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead.
myMathnasium consolidates scheduling, billing and progress tracking into a single app
Through the new portal, parents can view upcoming and completed sessions with detailed summaries, access student progress reports, message their local center and receive notifications, manage profile, account and billing information, and schedule sessions where available. Scheduling features may vary by location, but every user gets a centralized view of their account and communications.
Parents interested in either offering can contact their local Mathnasium center to schedule an assessment or get started.
