Hershey, Pennsylvania – September 19, 2026 -- Aliner is bringing back its discontinued Alite camper for the 2027 model year, unveiling the redesigned unit this week at America's Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pennsylvania, alongside dealer Beckley's RV.
The camper weighs just 672 pounds and tows behind nearly any vehicle
The 2027 Alite is Aliner's lightest and most compact hard-sided camper, measuring 11 feet in overall length with an 80-inch interior peak height. It includes a 58-inch by 76-inch sleeping area, roadside and curbside bench seating, and 2.7 cubic feet of exterior front storage.
Production ended nearly a decade ago, but demand never stopped
The original Alite built a loyal following as an ultra-lightweight, easy-to-own camper. Even after Aliner discontinued it, dealers and customers kept asking when it would return, according to Brett Randall, President and CEO of Aliner.
"The Alite has always held a special place in the hearts of our customers," Randall said. "For years we've heard from owners, dealers, and camping enthusiasts asking us to bring it back. And we listened."
Aliner targets first-time buyers and solo travelers with the relaunch
The company designed the new Alite for first-time buyers, weekend travelers, solo adventurers, and couples looking for simple trips. It retains Aliner's hard-sided A-frame design, 30-second setup, and garageable footprint, features the brand has built over more than 40 years.
Jana Randall, Chief Marketing Officer of Aliner, said the model's return reflects the company's approach of listening to customers while continuing to innovate.
Dealers nationwide will carry the camper starting this winter
Visitors at the Hershey RV Show will be the first consumers to see and step inside the new Alite in person. Aliner plans to make the 2027 Alite available through its nationwide dealer network this winter, following the Hershey debut.
