PITTSBURGH, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- "With remote start vehicles and people in a hurry, sometimes they forget to open the garage door. I thought there should be an automatic way to open the garage door if carbon monoxide is detected in the garage," said an inventor, from Fort Atkinson, Wisc., "so I invented the LQ SAFETY SENSOR. My design helps protect people from carbon monoxide poisoning in the garage."

The patent-pending invention provides an improved way to monitor and detect carbon monoxide levels within a garage. In doing so, it allows carbon monoxide to dissipate if detected. As a result, it increases safety and protection. It also provides added peace of mind. The invention features an effective design that is easy to install and use so it is ideal for households with garages. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
