Hypershell Unveils Halo Exoskeleton at IFA 2026, Wins 21 Awards

Berlin – September 12, 2026 -- Hypershell closed out its IFA 2026 presence with the global debut of the Hypershell Halo, a wearable exoskeleton the company says is the first to coordinate four motorized hip and knee joints as a single system for all-terrain mobility.

The Halo weighs 2.6 kg but delivers 1,490 W of peak power

The device offers up to 20 km of battery range and folds down to under 8 liters, small enough to fit in a backpack.

Hypershell collected 21 awards during the five-day show

Nearly 20 came from outlets including TechRadar, GameStar.de, T3, Netzwelt and Tom's Guide. The brand was also named an IFA Innovation Awards 2026 Honoree in the Best in Mobility and Best in Design categories.

Booth visitors logged over 800,000 test steps, triggering a charity donation

Under a "Every Step Counts" campaign, Hypershell converted those steps into a gift of eight X Pro S exoskeletons, worth €7,992 total, to Ramblers, a UK walking charity, to support outdoor accessibility initiatives.

Hypershell is expanding retail experience zones across Europe

The company is partnering with Mediaworld and Unieuro in Italy, Decathlon and Fnac in France, Globetrotter in Germany, Intersport and Bründl Sports in Austria, and Lehner in Switzerland to give local shoppers hands-on access to the technology.

"The overwhelming response to Halo and broad industry recognition underscore growing demand for accessible, consumer-facing exoskeleton technology,
