New York – September 11, 2026 -- Mancini, a 110-year-old national architecture and design firm, has secured the No. 69 spot on Fast Company's 2026 list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators, joining honorees including Anthropic, Chipotle, Morgan Stanley, and GE.
Fast Company cites Mancini's internal culture of employee-driven problem solving
The annual ranking recognizes organizations that give staff at every level the freedom and resources to develop industry-moving ideas. Mancini was selected for empowering architects and designers to identify workflow gaps and build their own solutions rather than relying on a separate technology department.
Christian Giordano, President of Mancini, said the firm's leadership focuses on giving employees time, resources, and reduced bureaucracy to pursue ideas rather than treating innovation as a talking point.
Employee-built tools include an AI knowledge platform and patented VR/AR suite
The firm's internal incubator, called the Design Lab, has enabled architects without formal software backgrounds to build enterprise-level platforms. One output is MIKA, the Mancini Information and Knowledge Assistant, an internally developed AI system that connects knowledge and workflows across the firm, originally built to solve an operational challenge.
Mancini also developed and patented The Toolbelt, a suite of virtual and augmented reality tools that lets project teams and clients modify designs in real time. Through its 360 Design Sessions, clients evaluate spatial options earlier in the design process, with decisions feeding directly into the project model to speed approvals and cut revisions.
Mancini also climbed Interior Design's 2026 industry rankings
The Fast Company recognition follows a period of growth for the firm, which ranked No. 52 on Interior Design's 2026 Top 100 Giants list and No. 25 on its 2026 Hospitality Giants list, up 21 positions from No. 46 in 2025.
