Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- Hisense used IFA 2026 to showcase its new AI Companion Suite, a set of connected kitchen, laundry and living-space appliances built on its ConnectLife platform, under the theme "Innovating a Brighter Life."
The AI Companion Refrigerator suggests meals based on what's inside
The fridge identifies stored groceries and recommends recipes tailored to user preferences. Once a recipe is chosen, it can sync with the AI Companion Oven, which automatically sets baking parameters, while the AI Companion Wine Cabinet suggests pairings and maintains proper storage conditions. After the meal, the AI Companion Dishwasher detects how dirty the dishes are and adjusts its wash cycle accordingly.
Laundry appliances read fabric type to pick wash and dry settings
The AI Companion Laundry Suite identifies clothing characteristics and selects washing and drying programs automatically, so users only need to load the machine and press start.
Climate and energy systems respond to room occupancy and electricity prices
The AI Companion Air Conditioner tracks room conditions and occupant location, adjusting airflow direction in real time. The AI Companion Energy system factors in weather and time-of-day electricity pricing to help optimize household power use.
Hisense partners with Amazon's Alexa+ for voice-controlled appliances
Building on ConnectLife, Hisense is among the first appliance makers to integrate smart home devices with Amazon's Alexa+ assistant via the new Amazon Smart Home AI Toolkit. In the coming months, Alexa+ users will be able to control select Hisense air conditioners with voice commands, with Alexa+ interpreting requests and adjusting settings automatically.
Five Hisense products picked up IFA awards
The Multi Function II HVAC series won its category outright, while the X-zone Master model received an Honoree title. The U8 Air Master Air Conditioner, the W60 3D Kitchen-fit Series, and a 60cm integrated wine cabinet also received recognition at the show.
Hisense says the appliances run on its V AIOS system, which lets devices detect surrounding conditions, analyze context, communicate with users and other machines, and coordinate tasks across the home without manual input.
