Morpho Debuts Desktop UV Printer at IFA 2026, Backed by $10M Kickstarter

Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- Morpho unveiled its first desktop UV printer at IFA 2026, following a Kickstarter campaign that raised over $10 million from more than 2,800 backers worldwide.

The device, shown live at hall 17-196, prints on wood, glass, leather, metal and other materials, producing textured, color-accurate finishes for creators, educators and small manufacturers.

Print head hits 600 mm/s while holding G7 Master ColorSpace-certified color accuracy

Morpho's industrial-grade print head deposits thin ink layers to create tactile, raised textures at travel speeds up to 600 mm/s. The G7 Master ColorSpace certification ensures consistent color reproduction across printed pieces, a factor cited by IFA attendees as a top differentiator.

Moving-gantry design delivers a fully enclosed print chamber in a compact footprint

Unlike fixed-gantry systems, Morpho's printer moves the entire gantry along both axes, enabling a large, fully enclosed print chamber that accommodates varied object sizes without increasing the machine's overall footprint.

Stereo Vision Smart Alignment and Morpho Studio software cut setup time for first-time users

An integrated Stereo Vision Smart Alignment system captures an object's height and contours automatically, while Morpho Studio's guided workflows move users from concept to print with minimal manual configuration -- a workflow attendees at the IFA demo highlighted as accessible to non-specialists.

Founder Mingyu "Brett" Wang, formerly global VP of R&D at DJI, said the company engages directly with its user community to gather feedback and implement rapid product improvements.

Morpho said the printer program has been in development for several years, aimed at making UV printing a practical tool for everyday creative and small-business use. The company is continuing development of its proprietary core printing technology.
