Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- Midea has unveiled VitaBreeze, a new home climate system that lets users direct airflow to specific spots in a room using a smartphone. The system makes its global debut at IFA 2026 and will roll out across Europe starting early 2027.
The system maps rooms and lets users steer airflow visually via an app
Midea's AirGrid Intelligence feature scans a room's layout, giving users a visual interface to send cool or warm air exactly where they want it -- whether that's toward a yoga mat or away from a sofa. A wide-angle airflow design covers every corner of a room evenly, while built-in person detection can make airflow follow occupants or steer clear of them, depending on preference.
A redesigned vent cuts drafts while boosting cooling area by 30%
The latest version of Midea's draft-free technology, called Breezeless Pro Evolution, enlarges the air outlet surface by 30% and pushes cool air through micro-perforations arranged to create gentle, multi-directional airflow. Midea says this delivers full cooling power immediately after startup, without the blast of air associated with conventional units.
A new dehumidifying mode keeps temperature steady while removing moisture
Standard dehumidifiers often cause room temperature to drop unintentionally. VitaBreeze's ClimaBalance Precision feature is designed to strip excess humidity from the air while holding temperature steady, aimed at keeping spaces like children's rooms comfortable on rainy days.
An upgraded efficiency algorithm adjusts settings before conditions change
Building on Midea's existing patented algorithm, the ECOMASTER 2.0 system makes proactive micro-adjustments based on current and forecasted conditions rather than reacting after the fact. Midea says this approach reduces energy waste at a granular level to improve overall efficiency.
The unit's design targets European interiors specifically
VitaBreeze features softer edges and a more understated look than prior Midea units, a design choice the company says reflects European aesthetic preferences. The system will be on display at IFA 2026 in Berlin before its European retail launch in early 2027.
