Haier Unveils AI-Powered Smart Home Ecosystem at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- Haier showcased an AI-driven smart home ecosystem at IFA 2026, covering laundry, refrigeration, cooking, entertainment, digital services and robotics under the theme "A Home of Intelligent Possibilities."

The Vision 15 washer reads laundry loads through an internal camera

The machine uses sensors and algorithms to detect load size, balance and foam levels, then adjusts water usage, detergent dosing, drum motion and program settings accordingly.

The Maestro fridge prototype tracks stored food to guide storage conditions

Its AI Food Care System 2.0 identifies ingredients inside the unit and recommends settings meant to help users manage food more efficiently.

The ID Ultimate Series 6 oven stops cooking once the desired result is reached

An internal camera monitors the cooking process in real time and can end the program automatically. In the living room, UltraSense AI adjusts picture and sound on Haier smart TVs based on content and ambient conditions.

The hOn app connects these devices into a single digital environment

Haier Europe's hOn platform links connected products and services so they operate together around daily routines rather than as standalone devices.

Haier's smart home platform logged 86.1 billion smart-scene interactions in 2025

According to Euromonitor International, Haier Smart Home ranked as the world's No. 1 smart home company by global revenue in 2025, with its platform surpassing 130 million registered users worldwide that year.

A humanoid robot demo extended AI beyond household appliances

The IFA exhibit featured robots interacting with appliances, cleaning robots designed to recognize objects and dirt types, and companion robots offering voice assistance. Haier's exoskeleton used sensors and algorithms to interpret movement intent in real time, adjusting assistance to support user mobility.

Haier plans to invest at least €13 billion over the next five years

The spending will target core technologies including artificial intelligence, semiconductors and IoT security as part of the company's shift toward native AI. Haier's "10+N" open innovation system backs this push, and the company topped IPRdaily's global smart home invention patent ranking for the fifteenth consecutive time in the first half of 2026.

Haier's smart home technologies are on display at Hall 3.1, Stand 101, during IFA 2026 in Berlin, running through September 8.
