Haier Unveils AI Smart-Home Ecosystem at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 10, 2026 -- Haier showcased an AI-powered smart-home ecosystem at IFA 2026, covering laundry, cooling, cooking, entertainment, digital services and robotics, running under the theme "Home of Intelligent Possibilities."

The Vision 15 washing machine reads laundry loads in real time

Using a built-in camera, sensors and algorithms, the Vision 15 detects load size, balance and foam levels, then adjusts water level, detergent dosage, drum movement and program settings accordingly.

The Maestro refrigerator prototype tracks stored food automatically

Its "AI Food Care System 2.0" identifies stored items and recommends storage conditions to help users manage food more effectively. The ID Ultimate Series 6 oven applies a similar approach to cooking: an internal camera detects food, monitors progress, and can stop the program once the desired result is reached. In the living room, Haier's UltraSense AI adjusts picture and sound on its smart TVs based on content and ambient conditions in real time.

These connected features are unified through the hOn app, which brings Haier Europe's products and services into a single digital environment for daily routines.

Haier's smart-home platform counts over 130 million registered users

According to Euromonitor International, Haier Smart Home was recognized as the world's leading smart-home company based on 2025 global smart-home sales. The platform recorded 86.1 billion interactions with smart-home scenarios in 2025.

Robots and an exoskeleton extend AI beyond the kitchen

Haier's IFA presentation included humanoid robots interacting with appliances, robotic cleaning systems that detect objects and dirt types, and companion robots offering voice assistance. The company's exoskeleton uses sensors and algorithms to interpret movement intent in real time, adjusting support for individual users to aid mobility while preserving natural motion.

Haier plans to invest at least €13 billion over five years

The investment will focus on foundational technologies including artificial intelligence, semiconductors and IoT security. In the first half of 2026, Haier topped IPRdaily's global list of smart-home invention patents for the 15th consecutive time, supported by its "10+N" open innovation system linking global research with local user insights.

Visitors can experience Haier's smart-home technologies at IFA 2026 in Berlin, running September 4 to 8 in Hall 3.1, Stand 101.
