RayNeo Debuts Dolby Vision AR Glasses and AI Smart Glasses at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- RayNeo unveiled its newest augmented reality glasses lineup at IFA 2026, including the first AR glasses compatible with Dolby Vision playback and a lightweight AI-assistant model priced from $499.

The RayNeo GT series becomes the first AR glasses to support Dolby Vision

When paired with the RayNeo Pocket TV Pro, the GT series plays Dolby Vision content, dynamically optimizing image quality beyond standard HDR. Arkin Kol, Dolby Laboratories' vice president of Commercial Partnerships for Europe, said the company's mission has been to bring audiences closer to creators' original vision, whether in theaters, at home, or now through wearable displays. The GT series also converts standard dynamic range content to HDR in real time using AI.

Bang & Olufsen tuned the GT series audio for bass without sacrificing clarity

Following their 2025 collaboration on the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, RayNeo and Bang & Olufsen extended their partnership to the GT series. Bang & Olufsen's acoustic engineers built a reference measurement of the device before refining sound through listening tests, focusing on delivering convincing bass in a compact, lightweight frame. Anders, Bang & Olufsen's global director of Consumer Electronics, said the goal was a natural, balanced, immersive audio experience despite the format's small size.

The 33-gram RayNeo iO adds a front display for daily AI assistance

The RayNeo iO smart glasses weigh just 33 grams and feature a discreet front-facing display showing schedules, weather, navigation prompts, and phone notifications without requiring users to check a separate screen. The glasses support real-time captions, multilingual translation, a hands-free teleprompter, and AI-generated summaries from voice recordings. Head-gesture controls let users interact without pausing their current activity.

Both new models won IFA Innovation Awards 2026

The RayNeo GT Max and RayNeo iO smart glasses each received the IFA Innovation Awards 2026 recognition, marking another milestone for RayNeo at the Berlin trade show.

Counterpoint Research and IDC ranked RayNeo the top AR glasses shipper in early 2026

For the first half of 2026, Counterpoint Research ranked RayNeo number one globally in AR glasses shipments, while IDC placed it first both globally and in China. CINNO Research, RUNTO, and AVC also ranked RayNeo number one in key segments of China's AR/AI and smart glasses market.
