Hisense Debuts AI Companion Suite for Kitchen, Laundry and Living Room at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- Hisense used IFA 2026 to unveil its AI Companion Suite, a ConnectLife-based lineup of connected appliances designed to automate cooking, laundry and climate control across the home.

A single question triggers the whole cooking process

Asking "What should I cook?" prompts the AI Companion Refrigerator to scan stored ingredients and suggest recipes based on personal preferences. Once a recipe is chosen, it syncs with the AI Companion Oven for automatic cooking, while the AI Companion Wine Cabinet recommends pairings and maintains storage conditions. After the meal, the AI-powered dishwasher reads the condition of dishes and adjusts its cycle accordingly.

Laundry gets automated sorting and washing decisions

The AI Companion Laundry Suite identifies fabric characteristics and automatically selects wash and dry programs, letting users load clothes and leave the rest to the machine.

Living spaces adjust airflow and energy use in real time

The AI Companion Air Conditioner detects room conditions and occupant movement to adjust airflow accordingly. The AI Companion Energy System factors in weather and time-based electricity pricing to optimize household energy consumption.

Hisense becomes an early Alexa+ smart-home partner

Building on ConnectLife, Hisense is working with Amazon's Alexa+ using its new Smart-Home AI Toolkit, making it one of the first appliance brands to integrate with the assistant. In the coming months, Alexa+ customers will be able to control select Hisense air conditioners through voice requests, with Alexa+ handling the settings and executing the action.

Multiple Hisense products won IFA awards

The energy-saving "Multi Function II" HVAC series received a Winner Award, while the "X-zone Master" was named an Honoree. The "U8 Air Master" air conditioner, the "W60 3D Kitchen-fit" series and a 60-cm built-in wine cabinet also received recognition.

Hisense says all these AI Companion features run on its V AIOS platform, which allows devices to perceive activity, decide on actions, communicate with users and other devices, and coordinate tasks autonomously.
