LiberNovo Debuts Bigger, Motorized Ergonomic Chairs at IFA 2026

Berlin – September 09, 2026 -- LiberNovo is showcasing its dynamic ergonomic seating lineup at IFA 2026, running September 4-8 at Messe Berlin, with a new Maxis series built for larger and taller users.

The company's stand sits in Hall 7, booth 7.2a-105, alongside the existing Omni Pro and Omni SE chairs. LiberNovo's Omni Pro has picked up two nominations at the IFA Innovation Awards, in the Best Design and Best Technology for Wellbeing and Accessibility categories.

Maxis chairs add nearly 21 inches of seat depth for bigger frames

Rather than scaling up a standard chair, LiberNovo designed Maxis specifically for taller, heavier and broader-framed users. The seat depth measures 52 cm (20.5 inches), paired with a wider cushion, reinforced frame, aluminum alloy base and four-way adjustable armrests meant to hold up through long work sessions, gaming or creative work.

All three Maxis versions recline across five positions, from 105 to 160 degrees. The Manual model uses a knob to adjust lumbar depth, while the Electric version adds motorized lumbar support and LiberNovo's OmniStretch guided back-stretching system. The Airflow variant builds on that with active seat ventilation for extended use in warm rooms.

Omni Pro and Omni SE round out the IFA display

Also on the stand, the Omni Pro combines motorized lumbar adjustment, OmniStretch and Active Airflow. The manually adjusted Omni SE offers a lower-cost entry point into LiberNovo's dynamic ergonomics approach.

Special Olympics New York offices receive donated Omni chairs

LiberNovo is donating ergonomic Omni chairs to Special Olympics New York, supplying office teams at the organization's Albany headquarters as well as its New York City and Long Island offices. The donation supports staff who coordinate programs, manage volunteers and build community around the athletes.

Media, business partners and IFA visitors can view the Maxis series in person at Hall 7, booth 7.2a-105 through September 8.
