Paris – September 09, 2026 -- French enduro champion Mathias Bellino is beginning a new chapter in off-road riding backed by Segway Powersports, which has provided him with a Super Villain SX20T sport side-by-side buggy.
Bellino built his career on two world titles and a serious spinal injury
Bellino won the Junior Enduro World Championship in 2012 and the E3 Enduro World Championship in 2015. He was also part of French teams that won the ISDE Junior World Trophy three years running, from 2011 to 2013. He started riding at age four, moving through motocross before reaching elite enduro competition.
In August 2018, during his first cross-country rally, the Desafío Ruta 40 in Argentina, Bellino suffered a crash that caused serious spinal injuries while he was working toward competing in the Dakar Rally. The accident ended his professional racing career, though not his ties to motorsport. He later returned to the EnduroGP paddock as team manager for Honda ORC and has continued looking for ways to stay connected to the off-road community.
A side-by-side buggy replaces the motorcycle for his next phase
With the Super Villain SX20T, Bellino is now exploring a different way to experience off-road terrain. The side-by-side buggy keeps him focused on what drew him to the sport in the first place: being outdoors, reading the terrain, and sharing the experience with others.
For Bellino, this stage is not about revisiting his past but about moving forward on his own terms. Segway Powersports frames the partnership around a shared belief in exploration, tied to its "Fear No Place" philosophy.
